Harry Potter walked through the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the moonlight illuminated the place where he was. He knew that curfew for first years had passed two hours ago by this time, but he really wasn't sleepy, in fact he was very excited to have arrived at Hogwarts. If you asked him himself two weeks ago that he would be in a wizarding school today, he would surely have told you that it was a joke. But it wasn't! He really was a magician! And not just any one, but the famous NiƱo-Que-Vivo. Everyone seemed to know who he was when he was named for his qualification in a house, the murmur that arose after saying his name confirmed it. After finishing the qualification of the first years and dinner, as he crossed the corridor towards the lobby, he could notice how several classmates were pointing at him with the finger "look, it's the scar" "it's Harry Potter", and he really doesn't like me for nothing, he did not like to be the center of attention, he preferred to go unnoticed as he had spent his entire life in the Dursley house. Once their head of house introduced themselves and commented on the rules, each student went to sleep, all very tired, all except Harry Potter. That's why he had decided to go for a walk around the castle grounds, that was what he did at home every time he wasn't sleepy, or was too sore to sleep.
Harry raised his eyes to the sky, the moon reflected in his eyes, a white spot flew by and headed towards him, it was Hedwig, the beautiful bird perched on the arm offered by its owner and hooted curiously towards the boy
"I know I shouldn't be here, but I wasn't sleepy," Harry commented to his owl.
She hooted and flew off into the forbidden forest, presumably to catch an unsuspecting mouse. Harry, on the other hand, turned around and with one last look at his owl, headed towards the entrance of the castle, in complete silence he went to the portrait and whispered the password, once inside the common room he headed towards his rooms, where his head barely touched the pillow he fell asleep.
On Wednesday of the same week, a shock shook him out of his sleep, he slowly opened his eyes and noticed, although blurry, red hair, he stretched out his hand and grabbed his glasses, placing them on his face.
"Wake up Harry!" Time for breakfast," Ron said to his new friend.
Harry rolled his eyes.
"Go ahead, I'll go down now," Harry replied, getting out of bed.
"Hurry up buddy," Ron said as he left the room.
Harry got dressed in no hurry, he really wasn't hungry, he was used to eating little at his uncle's. While he was dressing, something made him feel that he was wrong, as if he had forgotten something very important, the feeling was horrible. When he finished buttoning his cloak and before leaving, he took a look at the rooms, everything was in order as it should be. He narrowed his eyes, because he still had the feeling that he forgot something important?
Harry went down to the common room and left it to go to the Great Hall where Ron and Hermione were waiting for him. He sat down with them and they began to have breakfast, talking about what classes they would have today, Mcgonagall passed by their table handing out their schedules.
"We have potions!" Harry said happily.
Ron made a face
"It doesn't sound funny, and they say Professor Snape is very bad," Ron commented suspiciously.
"He's not bad. He's just a strict teacher," Hermione commented to her friends.
"And what do you know?" Ron asked with a frown.
"I've spoken to some Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws who have already had classes with him," Hermione said as she took her last bite of her toast.
After they finished eating, they each grabbed their backpacks and headed towards the potions room, where the Slytherins were waiting for their head of house. The Gryffindors gave the snakes suspicious looks and backed away from them. Five minutes passed and Professor Snape opened the door, giving his students a death glare. The students went into the room and sat down. Severus Snape began with his usual speech, when he finished he asked a few questions to find out which children had read on holiday and which hadn't. Hermione raised her hand every time the teacher asked a question.
"Hand down smarty girl," Snape growled as he saw the girl's hand raised for the tenth time.
Hermione groaned and lowered her hand in embarrassment, Ron gave him a dirty look.
"Mr. Potter," Snape whispered to the boy.
Harry looked up and his green eyes made contact with his professor's brown ones. A strange feeling crossed the boy's body, he didn't know how to explain it, it was a feeling like... Recognition? But that was impossible, he hadn't met his teacher before, why would he recognize him? Harry shook his head and looked down.
"What do I get if I add asphodel root powder to an infusion of wormwood?" Snape asked.
Harry looked at him for several seconds, trying to remember the potions book he had read at his aunt and uncle's. Harry was looking at his desk and Snape's lips curled up in a sneer.
"Produces a sleeping potion, called the Undead Potion," Harry answered confidently.
Severus just looked at him.
"Okay. Where would you look if I told you to find me a bezoar?" Snape asked again.
"I'd look in the stomach of a goat, sir," Harry replied with a smile.
"What is the difference between Monkshood and Luparia?" Severus asked the boy.
Harry thought for a few moments before answering.
"They're the same plant," Harry said firmly.
Severus's lips curved into an almost imperceptible half smile, but Harry noticed.
"Well done Potter. Five points for Gryffindor," Snape said turning around to go to his desk.
Harry looked at his friends, Hermione was smiling happily at him and Ron was looking at him in amazement and confusion. Harry shot his friend a look, hinting that he had read the book in his spare time. After potions class, where some Slytherins had tried to sabotage one of the Gryffindor's potions, but without much success as their head of house had discovered them and got some points. At night all the students went down to the Great Hall, the lions talked animatedly among themselves, as well as the other members of the remaining houses of the castle. Ron was giving Harry strange looks, Harry glared at him.
What's up Ron? Harry snapped annoyed.
"What?" Ron asked, confused.
"You've been looking at me like that since you got out of Potions," Harry said, stabbing a potato from his plate.
Ron looked at him for a few seconds before answering.
"I just thought you wouldn't like potions," Ron replied honestly.
Hermione glared at him.
"Just because you don't like it doesn't mean he shouldn't like it too," Hermione commented annoyed.
"I didn't say that Hermione! Ron defended himself.
"Of course..." but Harry had already stopped listening to them.
He felt like someone was looking at him, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up and a tingle ran down his spine. He slowly turned his head towards the teachers' table and looked at them, Dumbledore was eating quietly while listening to his vice-principal, Hagrid was talking to Filius, but the one who was watching him was Professor Snape, his dark eyes fixed on him, Harry kept his gaze. while getting up from his seat. He took one last look at his potions teacher and left the Great Hall towards his common room, he was tired and wanted to sleep well for tomorrow. As he headed towards his common room, he again noticed that someone was watching him, he stopped halfway and without caring about appearing subtle, he turned around. There, standing next to the doors of the Great Hall, was his potions teacher, watching him. Harry looked at him and a strange feeling crossed his mind and body, Harry fixed his eyes on his professor's black ones and gasped.
He was lying in a place that had bars on the sides, he was crying for his parents but no one came to him. He tried to get up but something on his body prevented him. I cry even harder hoping his dad will hear. After a few seconds, he heard the noise of a door opening and a man dressed in black appeared with a smile on his face, although Harry could feel the sadness that the man emitted, his eyes, although warm when looking at him, were sad, because his father I was sad?
"Harry, my son," I whisper, "Daddy must go Harry, but always remember my little snake: Daddy loves you so much." You may not understand it now, but arrangements were made to protect you, to keep you safe.
Harry whimpered in response and the man chuckled, running a long pale finger down his son's cheek.
"Severus?" - called the voice of a woman
Harry turned his head when he heard b's voice, stretched out his little hands towards his mom, she approached the crib and smiled at her son.
"Severus, are you sure about this?"
"I'll do whatever it takes to keep our son safe, Lily." The man ran a long finger down his partner's cheeks to dry the tears.
Lily nodded and Severus turned to his son who was slowly drifting off to sleep. I stroked the black hair and smiled
"Harry, if we ever meet again please, when you're ready, find me," Severus asked, "find me and help me remember you, to remember that I love you...
"Obliviate" Lily whispered as she pointed her wand at her partner and tears fell down her face.
