The day began with cloudy and rainy weather, where a blue car was parked in front of the entrance of a kindergarten, inside the car, a six-year-old boy with dark skin, wearing a red sweatshirt and yellow shorts, was adjusting his glasses while looking at the nursery from the leaky car window

"Mom, are you sure I'm ready?" The nervous boy asked his mother, who had the same face as him, only she was wearing a purple dress and had a big afro on her head, "Oh, don't be worried, Camy-bear" the mother said to her son, Called Cameron, "This daycare is the safest in the area, you'll be safe outside your bubble while I'm working." Then she gave him a kiss on the forehead, "Be careful when you go out, use your umbrella so you don't catch a cold, oh, and remember to brush your teeth after snack, everything is in your backpack"

Cameron got out of the car, opening his small umbrella so as not to get wet, "And remember, darling," his mother told him once more, "Don't forget that I love you and I want you safe and sound when I come home at the end of the day, bye!" His mother then drove off, leaving Cameron alone in the parking lot, "Well, here goes nothing."

Cameron walked over to the sidewalk near the daycare, where another boy was there, wearing a yellow raincoat, the boy was tanned, brown eyes, and with spiky black hair, he saw Cameron approach and greeted him, "Hey, Cam, how are you?" The boy greeted Cameron, "Oh, hi, Mike," Cameron replied to the boy named Mike, "I'm glad someone else is here."

"My parents left me here a while ago, I was waiting for someone else to come, and I ran into the great boy I met in the park, it seems that you are not inside a plastic bubble anymore?"

"Yes" Cameron spoke, "My mother knew that I needed fresh and clean air, so she sent me to this daycare, do you come here too?"

"Yeah, looks like you and I will be great friends for the rest of the day! Want to come in?"

Cameron nodded, "Sure." The two children entered the daycare and were met by the small lobby and a large dark, tall, bald man in a pink shirt and purple tie, "Good morning, children, I'm Mr. Hatched, but you can call me Chef"

"Hello Chef" Mike and Cameron greeted almost at the same time, "Hey Cameron" Chef said to Cameron, approaching him, "You're the new one here, your mother told me to make you comfortable, so you can come in the room first"

"Okay," Cameron agreed as he headed for the door, followed by Mike. "Not you, Mike" the Chef said angrily to the boy, "You are going to my office, I want us to talk about your 'problem'"

"Problem?" Cameron asked confused Mike, who was with a worried face, "It's nothing" Mike said falsely, "I'll see you later, Cam, I hope..." Mike walked worriedly to the Chef's office, while Cameron continued on his way and opened the door

Cameron looked around, the game room was so big it almost seemed like a house, full of toys, books, and anything for a child to have fun, "This must be some magical place" he said happily "Now to hang my backpack". Cameron reached the shelves with the hooks, was about to hang up his backpack until he saw an insect on top. "SPIDER!" Cameron screamed in fright, ran and ran across the room until he locked himself in the bathrooms.

The clock moved quickly until it was already 9 in the morning, and Cameron came cautiously out of the bathrooms, "Has she left yet?" He asked himself, as he walked slowly, "My mom never told me this place would have spiders." Cameron approached one of the padded chairs and looked at a small block-shaped device, "What is that?" He approached to look cautiously at the object, "It must be one of those video game devices that my mom forbids me to play." , it would be horrible to disobey it, but maybe it would be good to take a look to see how it works..." he reached out his hand to touch it, until someone appeared behind the chair

"DON'T TOUCH THAT OR YOU'LL DIE!" A boy yelled, causing Cameron to jump in fright and fall to the ground, "Oops, I'm sorry" the boy said again, taking the console and putting it in his pocket, "This thing is harmless, but still, it's mine, so If you want it...tell me and I'll lend it to you". Cameron looked at the boy, he was fair-skinned and wore glasses like him, he had a yellow shirt with brown stripes, blue shorts, and he had curly brown hair, he was also a bit obese

"Who are you?" Cameron asked still somewhat terrified, "Oh, sorry for the scare, let's start again" the boy helped Cameron up before greeting him, "My name is Samuel, but my mom and everyone here call me Sam" Sam said in a cheerful tone

"I'm Cameron" Cameron greeted weakly.

"Nice to meet you, Cam, but I don't think I've seen you around here before, are you new?"

"Yes I am, I'm still getting used to this environment"

"In that case let me help you, I'll be your guide throughout the nursery, follow me!"

Sam started to walk around the room, while Cameron tried to follow him. They reached the shelves with the hooks, where several backpacks were already placed there, "These are the hooks" Sam said in a presenting tone while pointing at them, "Where you can put your backpack in a 99% safe place"

"Um…" Cameron realized she didn't have it, "I think I left my backpack in the bathroom." Someone touched his shoulder and he turned to see a boy a little bigger and fatter than Sam, he was dark-skinned, he was wearing a gray jacket and a red cap on backwards, who had a pacifier in his mouth, the big boy he showed Cameron's backpack in his hands, "Cameron, this is B" Sam said pointing at the big guy, "Looks like he found your backpack"

Cameron took the backpack and looked at B with a smile, "Um, thanks," he said kindly, while B just pointed at him and sucked on his pacifier as he walked away, "Oh yeah," Sam said, "He's a bit shy, so He doesn't talk much." B sat on a chair in a picture there were several numbers pasted on the blackboard, "But don't be fooled, he is the smartest boy in the whole kindergarten." B rearranged the numbers to form a sum of 2 more 2=4, while he took off his pacifier and smiled tremendously.

Sam and Cameron walked to the entrance of a fortress made of large blocks of many colors, "This is the castle of blocks" Sam explained to Cameron, "Our own fortress and totally for everyone..." At that moment, someone called from up, "HEY!" A girl jumped down from the top of the base, she was fair skinned and had short dirty blonde hair, she was wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark blue jeans, she gave the two boys a withering look, "You trespassers will not enter my castle!" The girl sent the two. Sam rolled his eyes at that, "She's Jo" he told Cameron, "Always so bossy about everyone." Sam looked at Jo, "Excuse me Jo, can you let us through, I'm on a tour guide for this newbie."

"NO NO!" Jo exclaimed grudgingly, "I'm not letting just anyone into the fortress, not until they say the password." "Password?" Cameron asked confused, until Sam answered, "'Please let us in, your filth'" Sam bowed to Jo, much to her happiness, "Right," Jo said cheerfully and stepped away from the doorway, "You may come in, my subjects."

Sam and Cameron entered the fortress, "Or let her fool you," Sam said into Cameron's ear. "ATTENTION!" Called a boy in front of them, he was light skinned and with a crew cut, he had a green shirt and military pants, "Brick McArthur" the boy named Brick greeted the two, in a military pose, "Reporting to the service of soldiers to the base. Sam returned the salute, "Happy to see you again, sir, Private Samuel-San reporting," then he points to Cameron, "I've come with a recent newbie to the base, his name is Cameron, sir."

"Excuse me?" Cameron asked somewhat confused, "Are we in some kind of military camp?" "My dad was in the army" Brick clarified, "Anywhere is a battlefield" he approached Cameron, extending his hand, "Nice to meet you, newbie Cameron, welcome to the daycare"

"Hey, Brick-for-Brains!" Jo exclaimed, approaching Brick, "What did I tell you about bothering my subjects? Only I can greet them", Sam covered his eyes worried, "Oh no, here we go again...". "Miss" Brick scolded Jo, "I order you to lower your voice in front of your commander", Jo smirked, "Okay, Commander Soggy Mcgee", Brick growled angrily, Sam then took Cameron's hand and they walked away, "It will be we better get out of here before it gets ugly", at that moment they heard blows and shouts from behind, "And it already got ugly"

"Phew", a relieved Cameron said, "It's good that we got away from that environment for sure...", a cloud sprayed them both and they started to cough, "What is this?!" Cameron coughed, exhaling, when he saw an artificially tanned girl with big fluffy hair wearing a light blue headband, a purple top and a light blue skirt, she was blowing clouds from a can into her hair, "Oh yeah." said the girl happily as she sprayed herself, "Three coats won't do it"

"Oh right" Sam said, coughing through the roof, "She's Anne Maria." "Sorry?" Cameron asked to the seated Anne Maria, "May I know what you're doing?"

"Oh nothing" Anne Maria began with a smile, "I'm just spraying my beautiful hair with hairspray, the best way to keep it in place" she continued to spray herself with the can. "Isn't that dangerous for kids your age?" Cameron said something distant with her, "I don't care" Anne Maria grumbled, "I stole it from my mom anyway, her hair is just as amazing as mine, please, just look at yours"

"Not to brag, but mine can make snow" Sam said proudly, "Watch!" He started scratching at his hair, as little white particles began to fall from it, "Um, that's not snow," Cameron pointed out, "It's called dandruff."

"Ew!" Anne Maria shrugged in disgust, "Get that thing away of my hair, JO, Sam's being gross again!"

"GO AWAY!" Jo exclaimed, as she kicked Sam and Cameron out of the castle, falling face first to the ground, "Well…" Sam looked up in pain, "That wasn't so good…"

Later, Sam was showing Cameron the kitchen, "And this is the kitchen," Sam said to his friend, "The best place in the daycare, do you know why? Because it's where all the deliciousness comes out!, and you can eat whatever you want hidden in a tray". Sam stood on a ladder, just like Cameron, to pick up a tray, revealing the plate to reveal a spider hanging around.

"SPIDER!" Cameron yelled, as he ran to hide, "Dude, calm down" said a boy's voice, "It's not real" a light-skinned boy with freckles on his cheeks, red hair, dressed in overalls on a white T-shirt, stood he approached the spider and took it like nothing, "It's a toy, silly!" the boy laughed mockingly. Cameron came out of the cabinet he was hiding in, and looked around. "You again, Scott" Sam scolded the redheaded boy named Scott, who just smiled, "Yes, it's-a-me!" I wave in a squeaky voice before laughing again, "Looks like I've got another nerd to joke around here."

"That spider was fake?" Cameron asked as he left the cabinet. "Of course I did, I bought it at the market with my Pappy" Scott explained proudly. Cameron saw another spider on the ground and picked it up fearlessly, "So this one is fake too?" "Nah, that's real" Scott replied, Cameron looked at the spider, who snarled at him and threw it away, very scared. "A REAL SPIDER!" Cameron yelled in a panic, "HELP!"

"Did someone say 'Help'?" Asked a boy doing a somersault towards the counter, he was dark-skinned and had shaved hair, he was wearing a blue sports shirt with a 1 on the front. "Fear not, for Lightning is to the rescue, Sha-Bam!" The boy named Lightning said heroically while flexing his arms, "What's the problem?" Lightning asked. "There's a spider over there!" I point out Cameron to the spider near the faucet. "Don't worry girl" Lightning told Cameron, "Lightning will take care of that spider!" He ran, when Cameron said "I'm a boy!"

Lightning stood in front of the spider, and raised his foot to crush it, "Sorry, bug, but you've strayed into the wrong territory, Sha...". "WAIT!" A girl put a glass on the spider before Lightning crushed it, the girl was blonde and pale skinned, she was wearing a green sweater with a black skirt, "Don't hurt this harmless spider please"

"Oh, come on!" Scott whined, "Stop meddling in our business, Dawn!" Scott scolded the girl named Dawn, who scolded him back, "You guys should be aware of the bugs that hurt you on a daily basis, this sweet spider didn't do anything to you." "Could you at least take it out?" Cameron suggested, still scared of the spider. "It's still raining," Dawn said, pointing to the window where droplets of water were dripping, "This spider will be released safely when the sun comes up" Dawn took the spider in the glass as she carried it away, "right, new friend ?"

"What's up buddy?" Sam asked Cameron, "Why are you so afraid of spiders?" Cameron sighed and replied, "I have a bad case of arachnophobia, anything that has more than six legs must be evil" he shuddered in fear. "Like this?" He held up Scott the fake spider, causing Cameron to scream and fall to the ground, making him laugh, "Not cool, Scott," Sam scolded, then looked at Cameron, "Let me continue with the guide..."

"No..." Cameron replied painfully, "I already learned a lot here." "Oh, okay dude, good luck" Sam waved as he started playing on his console and left. Cameron sighed as he lay on the ground, "This place was not what I imagined…not in a good way."
