Part 2 - The Funeral and Meeting Rick Mora
After they arrived at the house of their parents' (her adoptive mother and late father's), they got out of the car and went on inside and when the others of their siblings (Adoptive like herself) saw her being here, they all gave her a tight hug, and she then found herself before her adoptive mother, and she said
"Mama."
And the woman, smiled wider and wrapped her arms around her adoptive daugther, and the two held onto to each other like none other, as they were very close like she had been to her adoptive father. Few days the funeral would take place, and the media would likely be there to photograph and/or video it but that didn't matter to any of them, as it was their father/husband who had died and now they would have to deal with the grief behind it all.
So after reuniting themselves as family once more, they went onto to plan the last details for the day of the funeral in few days time, and while that was happening, Bella's biological father was trying to get hold of her by her phone, and calling her day and night, but she had it eiher off completely or on silent, for she didn't want to speak with him or her mother who also was calling her phone. But also some unknown numbers were aswell, and she never answered them either.
Then wednesday came, and the whole family were leading their way down in the city of Porcupine, in South Dakota, Tatanka being the Eldest of them all, he carried the clothes that their father had on when it came to tribal doings within the tribe. Bella, his wife Christine and other of their family, Nathaanii, Scott and Tatewin and more of the family both adoptive and biological children of theirs and the former wives of Russell was also here.
Also friends of Tatanka and his other siblings were here, so in total they were over 300 peoples that walked with the family down the streets of the city, while singing and drums being played with, and the media was also here and took photos of everything that happened, and Bella was in few of them, but she clearly didn't care about being shown nor that the media would speculate of who she might be and so forth.
After the funeral overall was over and done with, the friends and family went back to the home of Means' and they ate and drank aswell shared memories of the said man. How great he had been in his roles of an actor to being a great father and being great as an activist, that Tatewin would now take over from him.
While Bella was in the kitchen, helping out to give the food and drink out to the people that arrived at the house, one of them was a good friend of her older brother, and his name was Rick Mora, and she smiled widel at him, as she said
"Rick it is good to see you, does Tat know you are here yet?"
"No, but it is good to see you too, Bella was it?" Bella grinned while looking into his eyes, when something unknown to herself happened between them and he shook his head and she said
"It is I, yes, Bella his younger adoptive sister. Well he will be happy to see you."
Rick smiled and thanked her for the food and drink she gave him, and he went to find her older, adoptive brother, and when Tat saw him he became rather emotional and happy, and the two shared a man-hug, and it was during that, that Rick told him what had happened, and who he had imprinted on. And while Bella was still a child in the eyes of law and so forth, he also knew he could do nothing to stop it to become further, but Rick told him he would tell her in later date and that she was to choose what should happen between them.
And that made Tatanka relax for he trusted his friend and he also trusted his young sister in all of this, and knew he could see the truth in Rick's words about it all, and he accepted it without any more words on the matter, and they went back to sit and talk. Michael and Eddie and their family also showed up for them, and Bella greeted them all with happiness, as she knew them very well, and loved them like a family to her like the Means' and Eric was to her.
And Eric also showed up soon after, and the two shared a loving, tender hug together, and he stroke her cheek, before introducing two children that was with him, and they were his own adoptive children, and the two were really happy to meet the person that Eric spoken to them about so fondly being like another daugther to him aswell.
Either way, while the days to and of the funeral was emotionally draining and whatnot, it still had been quite a success in the end, as the day had not been interupted by the media, as they kept their distance and kept their questions at bay for now.
