The next day, Ginger was at the Gripling house where she and Courtney were up in the rich girl's room waiting for dinner to be ready.
"Tell me that it's real again," said Ginger while the two laid on the bed.
"It's real, Ginger," said Courtney.
"Sorry, it's just that my book has only been out for two days," said Ginger.
"So, it's kind of hard to believe that they want another one in a few months already," she said.
"Well obviously your first book is just that good," said Courtney.
"Guess so, and now I just wonder what my future will be like," said Ginger.
"What do you mean?" asked Courtney while turning her head to look at the other girl with a confused expression.
"Like how long will I be able to come up with ideas and just where will it take me, can I keep going for years or will I just sell a few books and then nothing," said Ginger.
"I'm sure you'll create many stories and go far," said Courtney.
"And together we'll create enough stories that you'll never run out of ideas," she said while smiling at her.
"Now that sounds like a great future," said Ginger as she returned the smile. The girls then shared a quick kiss.
"Girls, dinner is ready so come down!" said Mrs. Gripling from downstairs.
"We're coming!" said Courtney as she stood up.
"One last thing, we don't have to worry about the future for a while," she said while turning to hold her hand out to the red head.
"Just the here and now," said Courtney.
"I like the sound of that too," said Ginger while taking hold of the outstretched hand. The two of them then left the room, going downstairs still hand in hand.
