Chapter 5

Note: Until the real Jason is rescued i will refer Jason from here on out as Clone/Jason. Please don't come for me with the whole mask idea , it won't be as harsh in this story as it is in my Finn story.

Mesogog's Lab...

"Put the prisoner in his cell" Mesogog ordered the drones as they dragged Jason's form to the cell. They locked it shut. Mesogog pressed a button causing the bars to be filled with electricity in case he tried to escape.

"Well done Elsa its about time you did something right" Elsa bowed at his praise. "Excellent, now my soldier its time to prepare for the next phase". He hissed at the clone.

"My Lord Mesogog i await my orders". Clone/Jason spoke.

"You see the little brat has the power to create such power to wash away the existance of Reefside with her powers, but being a water ninja she has a weakness to ice. I want to suffer watching her be destroyed. She will beg for her life as she freezes to death. They will have no other choice to give up those gems."

"What is my job?" The clone asked.

"You are to bring her to me and once she is destroyed we will harness her powers for our use". Elsa directed him. "If any other rangers interfere you bring them as well". He took the five black cans from her. "This will knock them out, do not fail me. You also have free reign to have a little fun messing with her heart".

The clone smiled evily as he left the fortress.

Reefside...The next afternoon..

"Okay remind me to kill my brother. he assigns way to much homework". Jay grumbled slamming her locker door. "I also think i am getting a cold". They laughed as she sneezed.

"And whose fault is that after I told you to go to bed last night but you went for a run", Tommy spoke coming up to her and Kira.

"Aren't you weak to the cold?" Ethan asked putting his books away.

"Kind of, since water freezes into ice i have to be careful and i tend to get sick alot easier". She answered letting out another sneeze.

"Yeah and when your sick your a tyrant". Tommy joked. Jay shoved him out the school doors. "Where's Conner?"

"He had to do something with his mom".Kira answered her teacher. "So want to study together?"

"Sure i could use the company since somone lives in the basement i might as well and put his bed down there". Jay answered ignoring the look her brother gave her. "I do know Jason is stopping by later so come by 6?"

"Sounds good". Kira gave her a hug as they went there seperate ways.

Tommy pulled out and began to head home. "Jay you don't look so good" He told her noticing her cheeks were warm under his fingers.

"I'll be okay".

"Look i will drop you off at home and go get you something".

"Can you stop at Hayley's at get me a smoothie?"

"Sure" He told her with a smile. Everytime she got sick it would hit her like a ton of bricks. Once they got home Jay went inside and headed for her room. "Jay i won't be long". Tommy yelled as he left.

Jay sighed and walked into the kitchen. She was getting some water when the doorbell rang.

"Its open" She yelled. She squealed as clone/Jason walked in. "Gosh its good to see you!" She greeted as she hugged him.

"Yeah i was supposed to come last night but i got sidetracked." He answered her as he followed her up the stairs. "So where is Tommy?"

"He ran to the store for me, i think i'm getting a cold and i asked for a smoothie".

"I was wondering if you wanted to come see the new space for my classes?"

"Yeah sure, i can' be long Kira is coming over to help me study. Let me write Tommy a note". She told him quickly writing something in case she wasn't back. They left the house.

"So are you and Tommy doing okay?" He asked as they began to walk.

"Yeah we are, he is my brother so we are being a family again".

"Yeah i thought we were family to".

She stopped. "Jase we are, we always were". She never saw his eyes flash.

"Yeah why the secrets?"

"What are you talking about?"

They arrived at the building. "You know about your powers?"

"Jason that was my business i can do what i want with my decisions". She qas getting annoyed and hurt by his tone and actions. "You know what i am just going to go home i am not in the mood for you being on a high horse".

Jay walked to the door but stumbled. She wasn't feeling good so she felt a bit dizzy. "You okay?"

"Yes i'm fine, i have a cold and its getting to me". She managed. She yanked her hand away as he held it. "Jason go away".

He grabbed her arm harder. She turned to glare at him. She tried to yank it free but he pulled harder. "Look i'm only trying to help you relax" He slowly released as she agreed. "That's it come sit." He grinned as she let him but what she wasn't prepared for was the huge blow he sent to her stomach. Jay fell to the floor gasping and curing into a ball.

"Jase?" She wheezed and Elsa and drones surrounded them. She tried to back away but he knelt behind her grabbing her arms pinning them behind her. "What are you doing?!"

"Oh don't worry, in a few minutes you won't even know what hit you". He nodded to the drone in front of him. She tried to get free from him but Clone/Jason knew how to lock her arms. Elsa towered over her and placed her sword to her neck. Jay froze as she watched the drones tie her ankles together. She winced as the thick rope cut into her skin. She was dragged to the back room.

"Oh Jay you have no idea how much you ruined my life when Tommy brought such a little brat into our lives, you turned it upside down". He spoke into her ear. The drones brought him more rope for her hands. "You know even Tommy got annoyed with you. He always had plans with us but no he had to watch his sweet little sister all the time".

"No that's not true!"

"No then why did he fake his death, because even now he don't want you around" Jason hissed into her ear adusting her hands behind her.

"Jason this isn't you please let me go" She pleaded as he took the rope from the drones. She grunted as he twists her wrists to put the rope around them.

"Oh this isn't the Jason you know little girl, but trust me the real Jason is safe and sound" Elsa spoke as she knelt down.

"What did you do to him?" Jay yelled. "What are you going to do with me?!". Clone/Jason held her tight as she began to fight him.

"Tommy help!"

"Easy, fighting won't help you". He taunted as he tied her arms to her sides. "Now be quiet". He hissed. He took a long piece of cloth from Elsa. Jay watched as Elsa him a black can and placed it into a mask looking object.

"What's that? what are you doing?!" Jay shouted as she twisted in his grip. "You won't win Elsa!"

"See you my dear are going on a little trip and we agreed you need to be well rested on your travels". Elsa answered handing the mask to Clone/Jason.

"Shhhh". Clone/Jason shushed as he tied the thick cloth around her mouth. "There we go, don't worry Jay it won't be so bad, you just need to get some sleep". Jay frantically tried to kick her legs and lift away from him as he began to hover the mask closer to her face. "Deeps breaths and it will be all over"

"Hmmf!" She grunted as hard as she could. She managed to twist her wrist and elbow him in the chest. "You little!" Jay frantically tried to get off the ground. She was pulled back and hit in the ribs. "Stop your going to hurt yourself!" She cried as he grabbed her arms back. Jay cried as her arm got caught in a nail causing it to bleed. Jason quickly pressd the mask fimly over her face. Jay managed to use her free arm to try and pull the one holding the mask away.

"Mnff! MNNFFFF" She grunted as she began to feel her body buckle against him.

"Shhh, easy" Jason soothed as he was holding it on her face. "That's it Jay deep breaths". Jay tried to move her head. Clone/Jason held her waist as she kicked her tied legs. "That's it its almost over". He soothed as he legs went still to the floor.

Jay gave one last pull as she felt her grip falling away. Her eyes were getting heavy. She felt Jason lower her head to the ground. "Good girl". He spoke as he watched her eyes close, her struggles over. He removed the gas after making sure she was out. He grabbed her hands and tied them back in place tigher making sure they were staying put. He checked her ankles.

"Tommy..."

Clone/Jason pulled the mask away as she went slack. Jason looked down as Kira's voice came through.

"Jay i'm on my way to your house".

"Lets see if we can add to our collection.". He spoke as his eyes flashed. He ordered the drones to take her to the location. Jason headed to Tommy's house.

Hayley's Cyberspace...

Tommy walked in and greeted Hayley who was behind the counter. "Hey Tommy"

"Hey Hayley can i get banana smoothie?"

"Sure Jay still go her addicton?"

"Yeah, although she has a bad cold" She frowned at his reply.

"How is she doing?"

"She's fine, being a typical annoying little sister but i wouldn't change it for anything". Hetold her with a smile as she gave him the drink. "Thanks Hayley"

Tommy got to his jeep when he rubbed his head. "Tommy help".

"Yeah yeah i'm coming, you better not be fooling around in the lab". He whispered as he began to drive to his house.

Tommy's House...

"Jay you home?!" Kira called as she entered the front door. "Jay?". Kira walked into the kitchen she jumped as a figure appeared in front of her. "Jason you scared me"

"Sorry". He apologized. "Kira what are you doing here?"

"Me and Jay have a study date, is she here?"

"She had run a quick errand but she should be back in a few" He replied.

Kira nodded. "Okay do you mind if i go to her room and wait?"

"Sure" Kira turned to leave. "Oh Kira i have something for you". She turned to get a baseball bat to the face knocking her out cold. "That was easy".Clone/Jason noticed a camera in the corner of the wall. He cursed and went to unplug it.

"Excellent our plan is working". Elsa praised. The clone walked over to Kira. "Take her with us she can chill out with the other one when we are ready".

He turned Kira over and took the rope from Elsa. Kira groaned as she was starting to come to. Kira felt weight on her back as she laid on her stomach. "Jason? what?"

"Oh i'm Jason just not the one you know". He told her as he pulled her arms behind her pulling her into a sitting postion. "But don't worry you will see him soon enough".

"What are you doing to me?" Kira spat as she tried to pulled her arms free.

"Oh just getting you ready for your trip" He answered looping the rope around her hands. Once he finished her hands he looped it aound her chest. He leaned her against the wall.

"Where's Jay?" Kira asked as he pulled her legs in front of her. "What are you? what have you done to her?". He began tying her ankles together.

"Oh don't worry about her, she is sleeping like a good little girl". A portal opened revealing her. "You will be joining her soon i just you to be secure and asleep"

"Jay?!" Kira cried as she saw her tightliy bound friend not moving.

"See Kira everyone has a dark side, this is mine, i am the copy of the one and only red ranger". He told her as he finished her legs. "Mesogog wants her powers to abolish Reefside and he will get them or she will be destroyed".

"Jay will never give into you and we won't either". Kira spat. "Please let her go, she's too sick".

Clone/Jason ripped a pillow case into a thick strip. "Oh your pleas are falling on deaf ears." Kira moaned as he wrapped the cloth around her mouth tightly. "Now Kira be a good little yellow ranger as take some deep breaths and it will be over quick."

Kira tried to scoot away from him as he took out a black can. She kicked her legs as he held her waist. "Shhhh don't worry its quick and painless, when you wake up you and Jay will be together." Kira grinned as she felt a hand come free. She elbowed him in the stomach and began to crawl away. She could hear a car door shut.

"Oh you girls!" He growled as he grabbed her by the shirt and pulled her back. :Dr.O!" She yelled pulling her gag down. Jason managed to haul her back into his arms covering her mouth with his hand. "Shhh" He placed the mask back harder as she tried to pull his arms away. "Stop moving!"

Kira was fighting a losing battle as she began to pass out. Jason grinned as her hold was fading on his arms.

Jason turned his head as a car door shut. Kira grunted loudly to get Tommy's attention. "Oh don't do that, That's a good girl". Kira heard Tommy call out to them. She made one last attempt to get out of his hold before darkness came crawling into her sight.

Jason felt her go slack as he lowered her to the floor. He took the mask away making sure she was out. He tied her wrists and ankles back in place so tight he knew they wouldn't get away this time. He retied her gag. He ordered the drones to take them away as he left the house with them.

"Jay? Kira? i'm home!" He called as he walked upstairs. "Girls?!".

"Huh no answer". He walked to her room. "JJ?" He entered to find it empty. "JJ? did you leave the house?" He spoke into his gem. "JJ?" No response. "Kira?".

Tommy sighed and walked back into his kitchen. He noticed a torn pillow in the floor. "Okay JJ there is a punching bag downstairs stop usng your dino powers on my furniture".

"Dr.O you home?" He heard Conner yell from his porch.

"Kitchen Conner" Tommy replied as he watched his red ranger enter. "Oh smoothie!"

"That's JJ's and no you can't have it". Conner frowned. "Conner question, have you seen or heard from JJ or Kira within the last hour?"

"We saw Kira at the soccer field but she told me she was coming here to study as for Jay we didn't. She told Ethan she was going to stop by with his game but she ended up meeting with Jason, didn't she tell you?"

Tommy frowned."She did but Conner JJ never leaves notes unless she is really in a hurry or if she senses something",

"Senses?"

"Conner she is a powerful ninja, she can sense if something is not right". Conner nodded at his reply. "I just have a bad feeling especally where she's sick".

"Dr.O do you and Jay have something special between you, the other day when we were trapped in the dome it was like you were talking to her but you weren't actually speaking, like you were in a trance?"

Tommy smiled and laughed. "You noticed huh, Conner back when she was much younger, i was the white ranger at the time. I came home from school to find the house empty, i remember looking everywhere and couldn't find her so i went to Zordon for help. Luckily Ninjor who gave us our ninja powers was willing to help"

"What did he do?"

"Conner JJ is ninjetti to but considering she was a kid she couldn't use them but Ninjor created a link between us since we are blood, the link allows us to communicate in our minds, we tracked her down using it, as she got older it got stronger".

"Where was she?"

"She was on her way home but she encountered Goldar and she ran into a cave to hide from him".Tommy answered. "That was the day she met they were so close".

"Has she tried to contact you?"

"Kind off but i fgured she was poking around in the lab". Tommy answered.

"I'm sure she's fine".

"I hope so, when she's sick it hits her heard i'm just worried".

"Look she told Ethan she was with Jason where would they go?" Conner asked standing up.

"He has a space he is renovating for his dojo maybe there".

"Look if you want i can drop by to check and see if they are still there?"

"Thanks Conner stay it touch". Conner nodded and used to speed to get there. "JJ where are you?"

Conner arrived at the building. He went to the door to find it locked. He looked inside to find it empty. He walked around to find an open window so he climbed in. "Jason? Jay?". He frowned when he didn't get an answer.

"Jay?". He went to the back. He noticed a mess around. "Oh God!". He knelt down to see something red on the floor. He used his sleeve to wipe it. "Blood?" He sped back to the lab.

Tommy went to lay his jacket on the couch as he heard a rattle on the floor. "What is that?". He picked up the black tube.

"Dr.O we have a problem?" Conner shouted as he got back.

"Conner what is it?"

"Dr.O there was no one at the dojo but there was blood" Conner told him as he held up his sweater sleeve. He pulled the sweater off. Tommy paled.

"Conner i found this" He told his red ranger holding up the black tube. "I am going to call Hayley".

Hayley came rushing over to the house as they gathered on the lab. Ethan joined them.

"Hayley please tell me its not JJ's".

"Sorry Tommy but the blood found is JJ's" Hayley told him sadly.

"I shouldn't have dismissed her message, i heard her ask for help but i assumed it was nothing, i thought she was here". Tommy spoke putting his head in his hands. "Hayley what's the black tube?"

"Its a very strong sedative in a gas like form, wait you said you found this here, Conner did you find one like this at the dojo?"

"No" Conner answered Hayley. "Wait you said Kira was coming over right Dr.O?

"Yeah but she had to of known that JJ would be out with Jason,Hayley bring up the street camera from across from the dojo".

Hayley typed quickly. They watched intently. it showed Jay walking with Jason inside. "Hayley wait they don't come out".Conner noticed. Hayley typed showing a different angle and what they saw horrified them.

"No!" Tommy growled as he watched Jay get attacked by none other then Jason Scott. He watched as she became bound and put to sleep."Hayley please do you know where she is?"

"I can't track her gem, Tommy i'm sorry i don't know". Tommy punched the wall. Ethan grabbed his shoulders. "Tommy do you still have the camera in the kitchen?"

"Yeah but i have a hidden one in the white tiger bear on my fridge"

"Darn its turned off". Tommy ran upstairs. He ran to the corner and noticed it was hoped it got something.

"Hayley try it please". They blew out a breath as it caught something. "Oh God Kira!" They watched as he attacked her. Conner grinned as Kira fought back but ended up being put to sleep and taken.

"Something is not right here" Hayley spoke in confusion. "Its Jason but its not Jason"

"What do you mean, its looks just like him" Ethan spoke up crossing his arms.

"I mean its like they have been split in half". She explained. "Tommy we'll find them but for now i can monitor there vitals. Kira is stable, Jay has a slight fever but its because she is sick, look Tommy you and i both know Jason wouldn't hurt her, Mesogog made a copy of him".

Tommy stared at them in horror. he was helpless and lost as to where the girls were.

"Hayley what does this gas do to them?" Ethan asked.

"It seems to work like nitrous oxide works they just go to sleep i don't know if it hurts their powers or not". She answered.

Tommy fell into his chair. His sister and Kira were missing with no clues as to where.
