The maroon imposter stared blankly at Astro for a few moments before speaking,
"Let's just get you sorted. Come with me, I'll show you to the others — they will, erm, definitely not kill you. Too wimpy for that. Name's Havoc, by the way. Also, er... really sorry about what happened back there. Did not know you were an impostor too."
Astro was about to speak, opening her mouth, before Havoc continued. "Listen, I really do understand if you don't forgive me for trying to kill you, that is not a good thing to do, is it? Trying to murder your own team.." He trailed off, before Astro looked to the side. She thought for a minute.
"Havoc, I forgive you. This may seem stupid, coming from me, but now I see that you're just a brother trying to protect your family. You didn't know. I understand that." Astro insisted. Havoc returned a small smile.
"Thank you."
They shared a moment of silence, before Havoc spoke once more;
"Alright then, uhm, let's go." He walked off quickly, inadvertently signalling for Astro to follow him. It had just dawned on her that the lights were still down, so they had to probably fix them sometime soon. At that moment, the lights had turned back on.
"Oh, that's a pleasant surprise." Astro mentioned as the two walked to some random location. She had no clue where they were going, but Havoc definitely did.
Finally, they came to a stop inside the Electrical building.
"Hm.. where are those two?" He mumbled to himself, before two other imposters walked in from down the hallway, around the corner.
One was grey and he wore a set of dark, round goggles, where the other was a pastel pink and had a regular pink flower on her head. They seemed to have been talking, as Astro had heard faint speaking from around the corner. The two paused and stared at Astro.
"Who's— who's that?" The pastel pink one nervously piped up, speaking in a wobbly tone.
"Yeah. Who are they?" The grey one asked, his voice more silvery, unlike his sister's.
"This is Astro. We don't exactly, er..." He looked at Astro, struggling to find the right words to use, "know much about her. She's not exactly one of us, became an impostor on different means."
"So, Astro wasn't born an impostor? And how does that work?" The pastel pink one questioned, clearly puzzled.
"Well, hm... Astro, you should explain this." Havoc began, panning his gaze to Astro, who nodded quickly and looked back at the two puzzled impostors.
"So, basically, I used to be a scientist, and a bit of a medic, but one day in the lab I found something weird. A sort of parasite that affected crewmates and turned them into creatures," She had just realised that what she had said was probably rude, considering the listeners were all impostors — basically these creatures, "people, similar to you guys. Well, the parasite — it was contained in this vial, and I was about to put it back in the case when, boom, it cracked, and it kinda," Astro paused before finishing explaining, "got me."
"Woah, so that parasite beat you up and turned you into an impostor?" The grey impostor, amazed, asked rhetorically, "That's so cool!"
Astro smiled. "So, who are you both?" She questioned nicely.
"I'm Zeta." The grey impostor replied.
"I'm, uhm, Rose." The pastel pink impostor, as well, answered.
"Hey, Astro," Havoc interrupted, "wanted to mention, I'm their older brother!" he mentioned. Astro was about to reply when Zeta looked at Havoc with a grin.
"Hey Havoc, why're you so nice all of a sudden? You er... got something you wanna say, bro?" He teased.
"Yeah! Do ya?" Rose added.
"Uhm, no. No I don't. Shut up."
Zeta visibly stifled a laugh.
"So, anyway... what do we do now?" Astro finally asked, her voice honeyed with awkwardness.
"Should probably take you to the rooms — really cool there, best place ever!" Zeta offered. Astro looked puzzled.
"The rooms?"
"Oh, yeah, forgot to tell you — The rooms are a building further from here. They used to belong to the crewmates, a sort of place to chill and sleep, but they just abandoned it because it was way too far away from the rest of the buildings. Long time ago, though, so us impostors have taken it over! It's kind of a whole thing." He explained quickly. Astro nodded.
"Let's go!" He finished.
They left the building, and they made their way behind it. After scampering over a few slopes of rock, they found a small rectangular building, easily fitting at least six rooms.
"Oh! I've never seen this place before.." Astro paced around the front of the building, searching for the entrance until she found some metal doors.
"Let's go inside!" Zeta exclaimed.
