Chapter 9: Bowser's Team Crashes the Festival
(Peach's castle)
A barrier formed around the castle, similar to Bowser's Inside Story, as Bowser was approaching Peach's castle.
Bowser- GWAHAHAHAHAHA! You think that will keep me from the princess?
Then Bowser shot a stream of fire at the barrier and was beginning to burn a hole through it. Some of the Toad were placed on the roof of the castle where the cannons were mounted and took aim at Bowser. However, the cannonballs were stopped by Ganondorf's magic before they could hit Bowser.
Ganondorf- Cannonballs? So primitive. Honestly, Castle Hyrule has better defenses than this.
Risky Boots- Hey, we pirates use cannonballs all the time during our pirate raids!
Then the Toads on the roof saw Medusa becoming as tall as the castle.
Toad guard- Yikes! Big snake lady!
Then Medusa's gaze turned all of those Toads into stone.
Medusa- That barrier might protect you from physical attacks, but not from being turned to stone.
Bowser was about to breath fire again, but then Eggman came in while piloting a machine called the Egg Walker from Sonic Adventure.
Eggman- Save your strength, Bowser. Let science handle this.
Then Bowser tossed a small robot that looked like a fly at the barrier and the machine produced an electrical wave that made the barrier around Peach's castle vanish.
Eggman- EMP blast. Shuts down just about any electric device in its rang.
Meowth- Then I guess we should grab the mushroom princess before…
Then a fireball almost hit Meowth before he could finish.
Fire Mario- Before we show up?
Then Bowser and his team turned around and saw Fire Mario, Ice Luigi riding Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Parasol Kirby, Ash and Pikachu riding on Mega Charizard, Sonic, Ty, Pit, and Shantae.
Bowser- Mario…I see you and the rest of those heroes decided to show up.
Boss Cass- About time honestly. We were expecting you to show up sooner.
Ty- Well, we were occupied with something earlier, Boss Cass. But we have time for you, mates!
Bowser- Remember what we talked about…we divide and conquer…
King K. Rool- Yes, Bowser! We haven't forgotten the plan!
(Back in Smash City)
Goh and Bandana Dee were still fighting Poke'mon Hunter J and Vaati in the Poke'mon stadium in Smash City. Vaati swung his knife, but Bandana Dee blocked with his spear. Then Vaati created a fireball with his magic and threw it at Bandana Dee. Luckily, Bandana Dee dodged it by jumping into the air. When Vaati looked up, he saw Bandana Dee spinning his spear like a propeller above his head. Then Vaati barely managed to get out of the way before Bandana Dee dropped down with his spear pointed downwards.
Poke'mon Hunter J- Drapion, pin missile!
Goh- Inteleon, use snipe shot back-to-back and shoot them all down!
Inteleon- Inteleon!
Then Inteleon snapped its fingers over and over as it used snipe shot to shoot down all of Drapion's pin missiles.
Poke'mon Hunter J- Cross poison!
Drapion- Drapion!
Goh- Inteleon, liquidation!
Then Inteleon used its Poke'mon attack to block Drapion's and both were holding each other back.
Goh- Cinderace, Max Strike!
Then Gigantamax Cinderace struck Drapion and knocked it to the wall.
Poke'mon Hunter J- Grrr…Salamence, hyper beam!
Mega Salamence- (ROAR)
Mega Salamence struck Gigantamax Cinderace in the face with hyper beam, but did Gigantamax Cinderace didn't flinch. Gigantamax Cinderace had an expression on its face that showed it did take some damage from that hyper beam.
Goh- Time to teach that Salamence a lesson! Cinderace, G-Max Fireball!
Gigantamax Cinderace- CINDARACE!
Then Mega Salamence was engulfed in a huge fireball and was knocked into the barrier used to protect audience during battles. Once Mega Salamence hit the ground, the Mega Evolution wore off and Salamence had fainted.
Poke'mon Hunter J- What the hell?!
Gigantamax Cinderace- CINDAAAAA!
Suddenly, the Gigantamax wore off as well and Cinderace returned to normal size.
Bandana Dee- Uh…Goh, why did your giant Poke'mon just shrink?
Goh- About that…you see…Dynamaxing doesn't exactly last as long as Mega Evolution does in battle. However, Cinderace did manage to knock out Poke'mon Hunter J's Mega Evolved Poke'mon before the Dynamaxing wore off.
Poke'mon Hunter J returned Salamence to its poke'ball before pulling out another.
Poke'mon Hunter J- I have other Poke'mon I can use. Runerigus!
Then Poke'mon Hunter J called out her Runerigus from its poke'ball.
Poke'mon Hunter J- Runerigus, earth power on Cinderace! And Drapion, thunder fang on Inteleon!
Runerigus- Rune!
Drapion- Drapion!
Both of Poke'mon Hunter J's attacks hit Cinderace and Inteleon, knocking them to the wall.
Goh- Hold on you two! Backup is on the way! Suicune!
Then Goh threw another poke'ball and out of that poke'ball came Suicune.
Suicune- Cune!
Poke'mon Hunter J- A Suicune?! Since when did this amateur get a Poke'mon this rare?!
Goh- What? You were expecting Ash's Ho-Oh to be the only legendary Poke'mon to be calling a trainer their master? Suicune, hydro pump!
Suicune- Suicune!
Then Suicune Drapion and Runerigus with a blast of water and knocked them into Poke'mon Hunter J as well. Causing all three of them to crash into the wall. When the smoke cleared, both Drapion and Runerigus fainted.
Vaati- What…
Bandana Dee- Bad time to get distracted…
Then Bandana Dee smacked Vaati with his spear and knocked him into one of the stadium lights. Vaati was instantly electrocuted. But then Vaati fell from the lights and landed on top of Poke'mon Hunter J.
Vaati- The…pain…
Poke'mon Hunter J- Vaati, get off of me!
Vaati- Sorry, J.
Goh- You lose this fight.
Vaati- For now, but this is far from over…
Then Vaati pulls out a smoke bomb and throws it. When the smoke cleared, both Vaati and Poke'mon Hunter J were gone.
Bandana Dee- Where'd they go?
Goh- Never mind that! We still have to deal with Dimentio and make sure Olivia, Adeleine, Ribbon, and Rick are alright! Suicune, Cinderace, Inteleon, split up and see if you can find our friends!
(In another part of Smash City)
Charmy, Ribbon, and Adeleine were protecting Olivia from Dimentio. Charmy rushed at Dimentio with is stinger, but Charmy stung a fake instead of the real Dimentio. As the fake vanished into nothing, the real Dimentio appeared behind Charmy and was about to shoot a magic blast at Charmy. However, a spiked ball called a Gordo hit Dimentio from behind. Turns out that was a drawing created by Adeleine.
Olivia- Wow. So that's what you meant by bringing art to life.
Adeleine- Yeah, my brush used to be part of something called the Brush of Dream. The only problem is I need a blank canvas to draw on in order for my paint brushes powers to work.
Ribbon- But luckily, we know this jester can't use Tabuu's power in Smash City.
Dimentio- True, I can't rely on Master Tabuu's power to strengthen my own while I'm in Smash City, but you wimps aren't even worthy of using Tabuu's power. By the way…
Then Dimentio made the Gordo Adeleine drew earlier levitate off the ground.
Dimentio- I think you lost this…
Then Dimentio pointed at Adeleine and the Gordo launched at Adeleine and Olivia. Adeleine and Olivia dodged, but the easel Adeleine had her canvas on was shattered. But at least Ribbon caught the canvas before it hit the ground.
Olivia- Oh dear! Your painting easel!
Adeleine- I can still paint as long as I still have my canvas.
Dimentio- Not for long.
Dimentio was about to fire another magic attack, but Charmy rammed him from behind and knocked him a bit.
Dimentio- You again?!
Then Dimentio saw Olivia had folded herself into an easel to hold Adeleine's canvas as Adeleine began painting on the canvas again. Suddenly, a pie was launched from the canvas and hit Dimentio in the face.
Dimentio- A pie to the face? Is that honestly the best you could come up with? Lame!
As Dimentio wiped the pie residue from his face, he noticed the stick of TNT on his nose with the fuse lit.
Dimentio- I'm really…beginning to hate you…
Then the dynamite stick exploded and blasted Dimentio against the wall while filling the room with smoke.
Ribbon- All this smoke…
Adeleine- I guess I overdid it with the explosives…
Before Adeleine realized it, a hand reached out behind her and grabbed the canvas.
Adeleine- Hey!
When Adeleine turned around, she saw Dimentio holding her canvas.
Dimentio- I'm sorry…is this yours?
Then Dimentio breaks the canvas over his knee and splits it in two.
Dimentio- Ooop! How clumsy of me! I guess that means you can't make any more of those fancy drawings!
Suddenly, a bunch of pollen was sprinkled over Dimentio's face and that seemed to blind him.
Dimentio- My eyes! It burns like lemon juice in the eye!
Then Ribbon, Adeleine, and Olivia saw Charmy flying above Dimentio.
Ribbon- Uh…what did you just do, Charmy?
Charmy- What? Haven't you ever heard of pollenating? But you better hide and leave this jester to me.
Adeleine- Hang on! I've been on the Shooting Star before. There should be a communication radio we can use to call Mario and Kirby by the steering wheel.
Adeleine, Ribbon, and Olivia rushed on the Shooting Star while Dimentio was getting that pollen off of his face.
Dimentio- You couldn't just buzz off, you stupid bee…
Charmy rushed at Dimentio with is stinger, but Dimentio caught the stinger and threw Charmy to the ground. Before Charmy got up, Dimentio used his dimensional warping powers to make a dimensional box around Charmy. Before Charmy could do or say anything, Dimentio snapped his fingers and placed Charmy in one of his pocket dimensions.
Dimentio- I'll deal with you later, bug boy. Now then…where did our dear origami girl go?
Dimentio walked on the Shooting Star and began to look for Olivia. Meanwhile, Olivia, Adeleine, and Ribbon were hiding in the room with the steering wheel of the Shooting Star. Olivia and Ribbon looked peeked through the window briefly as they saw Dimentio looking for them.
Ribbon- Adeleine, Dimentio has boarded the Shooting Star!
Olivia- And it's only a matter of time before he searches here!
Adeleine- Hang on! I just need to figure out how to make this thing work!
Adeleine was trying to operate this communications radio to try and call Mario and the rest of the Super Mario Brothers' Team.
(Back at Peach's castle)
Pit was flying just above the castle while shooting light arrows at Medusa who was still giant. The light arrows blasted her in the face and did some damage to her, but Medusa used her staff to make several large rocks appear before hurling them at Pit. Pit dodged them all and fired another arrow. However, Medusa vanished before the light arrow hit her.
Pit- How can Medusa move so fast when she's that huge?
Suddenly, Medusa appeared behind Pit and she didn't look to happy about what Pit said.
Medusa- HUGE?! How dare you say that to me!
Then Medusa grabs hold of Pit and begins to squeeze him in her grip. But then a bolt of lightning fired by Pikachu's thunderbolt and a stream of fire from Mega Charizard's flamethrower hit Medusa in the face. Medusa turned her head to see Ash riding Mega Charizard and Pikachu on Ash's shoulder.
Medusa- I'll admit, I did feel the damage from your Poke'mon's attacks, but do you think you can make me flinch while I'm at this size?
Ash- If that's the case, then maybe you should pick on someone your own size…Melmetal!
Then Ash called out Melmetal from it's poke'ball, but then Ash returned Melmetal the instant it was release from the poke'ball.
Medusa- Huh…? Why call out your Poke'mon just to return it to its ball?
Ash- Oh…you'll see…
Then Ash revealed the Dynamax Band on his wrist and began to fill Melmetal's poke'ball with its power. Then Melmetal's poke'ball grew and Ash threw it again. This time, Melmetal was Gigantamax Melmetal when it came out.
Gigantamax Melmetal- METAL!
Medusa- This must be the Dynamaxing I've heard Giovanni talking about. But a lot of good that giant Poke'mon will do when I make it a rock type!
Then Medusa tried to use her stone gaze, but nothing happened to Gigantamax Melmetal.
Ash- About that…Melmetal is an inorganic Poke'mon. Meaning instead of being made of flesh and bone, Melmetal is made of iron and steel. And I guess stone doesn't affect metal so well.
Viridi (telepathically to Ash)- Wow…I never would have thought of it like that! That was actually clever.
Ash- Thank you, Viridi. Melmetal, G-Max Meltdown!
Gigantamax Melmetal- MELMETAAAALLLL!
Then Gigantamax Melmetal swung both of its fists at Medusa. The first whacked Medusa's hand and made her let go of Pit so Pit could fly away. The second blow hit her in the face and knocked Medusa to the ground. Medusa almost landed on Jessie, James, and Meowth.
Meowth- Hey! Watch it!
James- You almost crushed us there!
Then Medusa sat up and looked down at Meowth.
Medusa- Hey Meowth…come here for a moment…
Then Medusa grabbed hold of Meowth and placed him in her palm.
Meowth- What's going…
Medusa- Relax, I'm not gonna hurt you. Just hold still…
Then Medusa made her finger on her other hand glow before gently tapping Meowth's charm on his forehead with it. Suddenly, Meowth grew to the same size as Medusa and Gigantamax Melmetal. Only Meowth's body looked like it had been stretched out and there was a Japanese letter on Meowth's charm.
Jessie- Isn't that the monstrous form that Eternatus turned Meowth into that one time?
James- Oh no! Meowth's going to go crazy again!
Gigantamax Meowth- ACTUALLY…I FEEL FINE. DOESN'T FEEL LIKE I'M LOSSING CONTROL LIKE LAST TIME.
Medusa- That's because I caused your Dynamaxing. Now do something about that metal blob!
Gigantamax Meowth- WITH PLEASURE, MEDUSA! MAX STRIKE!
Ash- Melmetal, Max Steelspike!
Gigantamax Melmetal- MELMETAL!
Then Gigantamax Melmetal and Gigantamax Meowth's fists collided. But then Ash flew Mega Charizard up to Gigantamax Meowth's face.
Gigantamax Meowth- HUH…?
Ash- Pikachu, thunderbolt! And Charizard, blast burn!
Pikachu- Pika…CHUUUUUUUUU!
Mega Charizard- (ROAR)
Both attacks hit Gigantamax Meowth in the face and made him stumble backwards a bit. Then Pit flew in while spinning his Palutena's Bow like a buzzsaw and struck Gigantamax Meowth in the belly. This made Gigantamax Meowth kneel to the ground.
Gigantamax Meowth- HEY, JESSIE, JAMES! MIND GIVING ME A HAND?! JUST BECAUSE I'M BIG DOESN'T MEAN I CAN JUST ENDURE THEIR ATTACKS!
James- Sure, Meowth! Yamask!
Jessie- Seviper!
Then Jessie called out her Seviper and James called out his Yamask.
Jessie- Seviper, poison tail!
James- Yamask, shadow ball!
Then Seviper swung it's tail at Pit, but Pit blocked by turning his Palutena's Bow into two daggers and held them up to clash with Seviper's poison tail. Yamask fired shadow ball at Mega Charizard, but Mega Charizard got out of the way in time. Meanwhile, Eggman was driving the Egg Walker in front of the castle and was trying to stomp on Sonic and Link.
Eggman- Hold still for just one…
Sonic easily moved out of the way before the Egg Walker could even get to Sonic. Though Sonic stopped running and next to where Link was standing.
Link- So Sonic, how do we deal with this mech?
Sonic- Tails told me about the Egg Walker. Eggman tried to fight Tails with it after Tails foiled Eggman's attempt to blowup Station Square. See those glowing panels of its legs? Tails told me he got the Egg Walker to stop working by striking all four of them at once. But you'll have to get directly underneath Eggman.
Link- I can do that. Just keep him busy.
Sonic- Sure thing!
Then Sonic dashed up the Egg Walker and in front of Eggman's cockpit.
Sonic- Yoo-hoo, Baldy McNosehair!
Eggman- OOOO! You know how much I hate that name!
Eggman tried to punch Sonic, but Sonic quickly moved out of the way. When Eggman looked down, he saw Sonic back on the ground and shacking his butt at Eggman.
Sonic- Can't touch this, egghead!
Eggman- Oh yeah! Get a load of this!
Then Eggman fired some missiles at Sonic, but Sonic moved out of the way with eases. But then Eggman heard the sound of Link performing his sword spin attack. When Eggman looked down, he saw Link had sliced through all four energy panels on each leg of the Egg Walker.
Eggman- Oh dear…
Suddenly, the ejector seat activated and Eggman was sent flying even higher than a Dynamax Poke'mon. But before Eggman hit the ground, Ganondorf grabbed him by the collar of Eggman's jacket and held him above the ground.
Eggman- Uh…thanks, Ganondorf…
Ganondorf- Honestly Ivo, how could you not realize that Sonic was distracting you so Link could exploit your machine's weakness. And you didn't think of doing something about it when you rebuilt it after fox boy destroyed it in a previous adventure? You say you have an IQ of 300, but did you cheat on that IQ test or did you simply make that whole thing up just to make it seem like you're an evil genius?
Eggman- Very funny, Ganondorf! Now could you please put me down!
Then Ganondorf let go of Eggman and Eggman faceplanted onto the ground.
Ganondorf- Idiot…
Meanwhile, Donkey Kong, Ty, and Shantae were facing off against King K. Rool, Boss Cass, and Risky Boots. Boss Cass pulled out a bunch of small explosives and tossed them at Donkey Kong, Ty, and Shantae. But then Ty tossed his boomerangs and blocked the explosives. However, Risky Boots attempted to strike at Shantae with her sword through the smoke cloud. Luckily, Donkey Kong grabbed the tip of her sword with his thumb and index finger before it could reach Shantae. As Risky Boots tried to get her sword free, Donkey Kong snapped the sword in two with a flick of his finger.
Donkey Kong- Ooop! Did I do that?
Then Donkey Kong was about to swing his Monkey Punch, but it was blocked by King K. Rool who was wearing boxing gloves. In fact, he blocked that punch with a punch of his own.
King K. Rool- Perhaps you should leave fighting the Kong to me, Risky.
Meanwhile, Fire Mario, Ice Luigi, Yoshi, and Parasol Kirby were up against Bowser and King DeDeDe. Bowser shot a stream of fire with his flame breath, but Parasol Kirby shielded the Mario Brothers and Yoshi with his parasol. Then Yoshi jumped into the air with Ice Luigi still on his back.
Ice Luigi- Taking aim…and…fire!
Yoshi- Don't Luigi mean ice?
Ice Luigi- It's a figure of speech, Yoshi.
Then Ice Luigi shot a few ice balls at Bowser and DeDeDe. However, Bowser melted the ice balls with his flames.
Bowser- Don't just stand there, DeDeDe! Do your part!
King DeDeDe- I know! I know!
Then King DeDeDe pulled out his mask and electric mallet and swung at Fire Mario. Luckily, Fire Mario drew Marco's sword and blocked Masked DeDeDe's mallet. But then Fire Mario noticed Marco's sword was absorbing the electricity from Masked DeDeDe's mallet.
Fire Mario- Well…isn't this interesting…
Then Fire Mario made an electric swing of Marco's sword similar to the flaming swing when that sword is powered up with a fireball and knocked Masked DeDeDe to the ground after electrocuting him.
Ice Luigi- Wow! Is there anything that sword can't do? It can absorb fire, ice, and now we know it can absorb lightning to give it a super charge, cut through Tabuu's power, and harm Tabuu even at his full strength! It's like the perfect weapon for any situation!
Fire Mario- I know our ancestor's sword is great and all, but we shouldn't get too cocky. I'm sure you've learned that after our last fight with Tabuu.
Bowser- That fancy sword of your ancestor might work on Tabuu, but that doesn't mean it will work on me, Mario.
Then Fire Mario and Bowser rushed at each other. But before Bowser could swipe his claws or Fire Mario could swing Marco's sword, a voice could be heard from this communicator Fire Mario had in his overalls.
Adeleine's voice- Mario…Kirby…anyone…can you hear me?!
Fire Mario- What the…?!
King DeDeDe- Hang on…I know that voice! Adeleine!
Fire Mario- Adeleine…this isn't the best time. We're in the middle of…
Adeleine- This is important too! There's an intruder in Smash City! And he's after us!
King DeDeDe- Adeleine's in trouble?!
Bowser- Isn't this cute. Tubby here has a soft spot for the painter girl.
King DeDeDe- Shut up!
Adeleine- He's a creepy looking jester named Dimentio.
Ice Luigi- Hang on…he's one of Tabuu's followers! How did he get into Smash City?
Olivia- I'm not sure, but he's also not alone! Goh and Bandana Dee are fighting this shady looking woman named Poke'mon Hunter J and a creepy looking mage named Vaati!
Bowser- Hang on…that voice…it can't be…the origami girl…Olivia?!
Olivia- Hello, Bowser. I would say nice to speak to you again, but we got a situation!
Bowser- But…you were unfolded into nothingness if I remember correctly…
Fire Mario- Long story short, Tabuu has revived Olivia and the Origami King for his latest plot. Oliva managed to escape and we tried to hide her in Smash City.
Ice Luigi- That's actually why we were a little late after you and your team attacked the Mushroom Kingdom.
Olivia- Hang on…what's that on the floor out there…is that…BROTHER!
Dimentio's voice- Hey! Where'd that come from?!
Adeleine- OLIVIA! You just gave our…
Dimentio's voice- There you are…
Suddenly, the communicator was just playing the sound of static.
Ice Luigi- Mario…this does not sound good at all…
(Back in Smash City)
Adeleine was using the radio to talk to Mario and the others as she tried to call for help.
Adeleine- He's a creepy looking jester named Dimentio.
Ice Luigi's voice- Hang on…he's one of Tabuu's followers! How did he get into Smash City?
Olivia- I'm not sure, but he's also not alone! Goh and Bandana Dee are fighting this shady looking woman named Poke'mon Hunter J and a creepy looking mage named Vaati!
Bowser's voice- Hang on…that voice…it can't be…the origami girl…Olivia?!
Olivia- Hello, Bowser. I would say nice to speak to you again, but we got a situation!
Bowser's voice- But…you were unfolded into nothingness if I remember correctly…
Fire Mario's voice- Long story short, Tabuu has revived Olivia and the Origami King for his latest plot. Oliva managed to escape and we tried to hide her in Smash City.
Ice Luigi's voice- That's actually why we were a little late after you and your team attacked the Mushroom Kingdom.
But then Olivia thought she saw something out the window. Almost as if there was a spark of electricity somewhere in the room.
Olivia- Hold on…
Olivia flew up to the window and saw what appeared to be a small cage laying on the floor where Charmy was fighting Dimentio earlier.
Olivia- What's that on the floor out there…
Olivia took a closer look and realized that someone was in that cage but also being constantly electrocuted by this shock collar around their neck.
Olivia- Is that…
Then Olly looked up at Olivia from the cage he was trapped in and Olivia couldn't help but shout out.
Olivia- BROTHER!
Unfortunately, Olivia got someone's attention with that yelling.
Dimentio- Hey! Where'd that come from?!
Adeleine- OLIVIA! You just gave our…
Before Adeleine could finish that sentence, Dimentio the part of the Shooting Star they were hiding in.
Dimentio - There you are…
Then Dimentio shot a magic attack at them. Adeleine, Ribbon, and Olivia dodged, but the communication radio was destroyed.
Ribbon- Olivia, what was that for?!
Olivia- Sorry, but I saw my brother, Olly! Dimentio dropped the cage he's keeping him locked in somehow. It's right outside this airship.
Ribbon- But did you have to give away our hiding spot?!
Then Dimentio fired another magic attack and it hit right between Olivia and Ribbon.
Dimentio- Touching…you're really worried about your brother…but I should let you know…my next shot won't be a warning shot…
Then Dimentio aimed as he had another magic shot ready to fire. But before he could, Adeleine turned on the Shooting Star and made it shake left and right.
Dimentio- Hey…what are you…WHOA! Where did you learn how to fly?!
Adeleine- I'm not trying to fly! I'm trying to shake you off!
Dimentio- Oh yeah…
Then Dimentio lifted himself off the ground and began levitating like Ribbon and Olivia.
Dimentio- I can fly with my magic. Now you can't make me lose my balance.
Then Adeleine took hold of the steering wheel and made the Shooting Star move towards at great speed. Before Dimentio knew it, the wall had slammed into him and he had left a large dent in the shape of his body before hitting the floor.
Adeleine- Let's hurry before he wakes up and comes after us again!
Olivia, Adeleine, and Ribbon got off the Shooting Star and rushed over to the cage where Olly was locked up in.
Olivia- Olly! Thank goodness!
Olly- Olivia…(shock)…
Olivia- Hand on! We'll get you out of that cage!
Olivia tried to open the door, but it was locked tight.
Ribbon- I think it needs a key. Maybe we could try…
Before Ribbon could finish…a laser blast shot her from behind and caused her to collapse to the floor. When Adeleine and Olivia turned around, they saw Dimentio holding a Super Scope which he used to shoot Ribbon.
Dimentio- This…is getting more frustrating than it should've been! And I'm sick of playing this little game!
Ribbon struggled to get up, but Dimentio stepped on her back and pinned her to the floor.
Dimentio- You're not going anywhere either!
Dimentio snapped his finger and Ribbon flipped away into the same pocket dimension he put Charmy in. Then Dimentio pointed the Super Scope at Olivia.
Dimentio- Final warning, because I'm starting to not care how angry Tabuu will be if I damage you before we can offer you to the ritual!
Then the Super Scope began charging as Dimentio was prepared to fire.
Olly- Olivia…(shock)…forget about me…(shock)…and run…
Olivia- Not without you, Olly!
Olly- You have…(shock)…
Dimentio- Time's up!
Then a large blast was fired, but Adeleine jumped in the way and shielded Olivia. Adeleine collapsed to the ground like Ribbon did earlier. Olly was still locked in his cage when the smoke cleared, but Olivia was nowhere to be seen.
Dimentio- She got away again?! Curses! And this is getting so ****ing annoying! Why I'd…
Then Dimentio looked at the Shooting Star and noticed it was still turned on and the engine was still running.
Dimentio- Hmmm…I wonder if I could try…
(Toad Town)
Olivia managed to exit out of the portal and into Toad Town. However, the place seemed empty now. Probably because of the Koopa King attack earlier.
Olivia- I hope Adeleine, Ribbon, and Charmy are ok. Hello, Mario…anyone here?
Vaati's voice- Oh…we're here…
When Olivia turned around, she saw Vaati and Poke'mon Hunter J standing behind her. Only they were still a little beaten from their fight with Goh and Bandana Dee earlier.
Olivia- You two again?! But how?!
Vaati- I'll admit, we might have lost to those two fools and it wasn't easy getting out of Smash City before they caught up to us without Tabuu's power, but now you've got nowhere to run.
Poke'mon Hunter J- Stop this resisting and make it easy on yourself.
Olivia- No…I can't…
Olivia backed away from them. But as Vaati and Poke'mon Hunter J were reaching for Olivia, a fireball was launched from behind Olivia and knocked Vaati and Poke'mon Hunter J were knocked to the ground. As Olivia was wondering where that fire came from, Bowser appeared between her and Tabuu's followers.
Bowser- Why don't you retards pick on someone your own size!
Olivia- Bowser…
Bowser- Hey there, origami girl. I will admit, I was a bit surprised when I found out you were folded back to life.
Poke'mon Hunter J- You've got to be kidding me…the Koopa King is defending Olivia?!
Bowser- She was nice to me and helped me out after her brother…uh…never mind that! The point is now that she's alive again, I owe her this much. Besides, I hate Tabuu just as much as the Mario Brothers do. And doing anything to screw with his stupid plans is always a joy for me!
Vaati- Just as stupid as how Tabuu described Slicor.
Link's voice- Well, you're not acting that bright either.
Just then, Poke'mon Hunter J and Vaati realized that they were surrounded by Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Ash and Pikachu, Sonic, Ty, Pit, and Shantae. But it wasn't just the Super Mario Brothers' Team. King K. Rool, Ganondorf, King DeDeDe, Jessie, James, Meowth, Eggman, Boss Cass, Medusa, and Risky Boots were there as well.
Vaati- What the?! Both the heroes and villains working together to stop Master Tabuu from recapturing Olivia?
Poke'mon Hunter J- Well remember, Tabuu is just as much enemies with Bowser's Team as he is with the Super Mario Brothers' Team. But what are we going to do now?
Vaati- I know, we can't beat all of them at once even with we weren't injured and at full strength.
Poke'mon Hunter J- And where is Dimentio?!
Suddenly, the Shooting Star was seen in the sky and landed near where Mario, Luigi, and Bowser were standing. And at the wheel of the Shooting Star was Dimentio to everyone's surprise.
Dimentio- Hey everyone! I gotta say, sweet ride! A very kingly gift the Shooting Star is.
Mario- Dimentio?!
Luigi- Hang on…how did he hijack the Shooting Star?!
Dimentio- Oh…I have my ways. But right now, let's talk business…
Then Dimentio pulls out the cage with Olly trapped inside of it from underneath his cape.
Olivia- Brother!
Dimentio- Yes, the infamous Origami King. It would be a damn shame should anything happen to him.
Olivia- You wouldn't…
Dimentio- Of course not. Master Tabuu said we need both of you alive to revive the Origami Empress. However…
Then Dimentio snapped his fingers and parts of the dimension flipped to reveal Ribbon, Adeleine, and Charmy trapped in one of Dimentio's pocket dimensions.
King DeDeDe- Adeleine!
Luigi, Kirby, and DeDeDe attempted to move up to them, but Dimentio held his hand out in a finger snapping position.
Dimentio- I wouldn't do that if I were you. You do so much as sneeze…well…I'm sure Mario, Luigi, and Bowser can tell you all first hand what I can do to anyone or anything in my dimensional grasp. Master Tabuu said the Origami King is off limits to harming, but they obviously are not. And I can simply end their games with just a mere snap…
Mario- What do you want, Dimentio.
Dimentio- It's quite simple. First, you are going to let co-workers go. And after you return Vaati and J to me, you are then going to surrender Olivia over as well. After all, we need to get the Origami King and his sister to this temple by tonight. And you've all stalled us long enough. And Master Tabuu is losing his patients.
Donkey Kong- You don't expect us to…
Dimentio- Yes you are going to do what I say. Or I'm ending their games…
Bowser- No way in hell we're giving you Olivia!
King DeDeDe- Well, no way in hell am I letting that ****ing jester harm Adeleine!
Then Bowser and King DeDeDe began to argue. But while everyone was paying attention to Bowser and DeDeDe, Olivia was looking at Adeleine, Charmy, and Ribbon tapped in that dimensional box and began thinking of what to do. However, for a split second, Olivia thought she felt something touch her from behind. When Olivia turned around, she saw Ty, but Ty didn't look like he was doing anything out of the ordinary. But Olivia shrug off the thought and returned her attention to the situation at hand. Eventually, Dimentio was getting annoyed with Bowser and DeDeDe's arguing.
Dimentio- Uhhhh…you both honestly shout more than Master Tabuu did at us after Marco Mario impaled him with that sword during the last season finale…and just as irritating too. You're acting like children. Well, I'm done with this nonsense. So here's your final offer. You have thirty seconds to give me your answer or else I'll just end their games immediately.
Sonic- Wait…what?!
Dimentio- Think fast! My finger is feels like it's slipping…
Olivia- Enough!
Then Olivia flies up to Dimentio.
Olivia- I surrender.
Mario- Olivia!
Bowser- What are you thinking?!
Luigi- Surely, we can figure something out!
Olivia- Not in thirty seconds.
Dimentio- Good girl…
Then Dimentio stuck a shock collar on Olivia like the one placed on Olly before Dimentio placed her in the cage as well.
Dimentio- And now…Vaati and Poke'mon Hunter J…
Then Ash, Link, Medusa, and Boss Cass stood aside as they made way for Vaati and Poke'mon Hunter J to walk on the Shooting Star with Dimentio.
King DeDeDe- Alright, you dumbass clown! You got your friends back and the origami girl…now let them go!
Dimentio- Is that what you thought I'd do once you handed Olivia and my comrades over to me? Oh, no, no no…
Mario- Huh?!
Luigi- But you said…
Dimentio- I said I wouldn't end their games. I made no other promises, Mr. L.
King DeDeDe- Why you ****ing little…
Dimentio- I'd love to stay and chat with you all some more, but we have a deadline to meet. And I don't want Master Tabuu to perform any more neutering on us. So, we're off to the Origami Empress' temple. And thanks for the ride, losers! CIAO!
Then the Shooting Star took off like a rocket and dashed away in the night sky at Sonic's speed.
Bowser- Damn it, Mario! I can't believe you just let Tabuu's cronies take Olivia like that!
King DeDeDe- Or let them take Adeleine with them as a hostage!
Ty- Relax, mates. We'll be seeing them again…
Then Ty holds up his smartphone and shows a radar on the screen.
Ty- Sooner than they think.
Eggman- Hang on, I recognize that app. That's a tracker system. Are you saying…
Ty- Sure did, mate! I placed a tracker on Olivia. While Bowser and DeDeDe were distracting everyone, I briefly unfolded part of Olivia's body, placed me bug in the opening, and folded that part right back up without anyone noticing.
Shantae- Wow! That was actually very smart, Ty. Nice work.
Ash- But there is just one little problems…
Yoshi- Tabuu's meanies took Shooting Star.
Pit- While Sonic and I don't really need it if we were traveling by ourselves, we'll need a flying vessel that can carry all of us if we want to go after them.
Then Mario turned to face Bowser.
Mario- Bowser…I know this might seem sudden and that you and your team usually don't work with me and my team…but we could really use your Doomship.
Bowser- (Grunts)…Alright…fine. We leave in five minutes and we'll be taking off whether or not you're all ready or all on board the Doomship.
