Chapter 11: Jester Shows the Way

(At the Origami Empress' Temple)

Sonic walks in through the entrance soaking wet with a Feraligatr on his but as he approached both the Super Mario Brothers' Team and Bowser's Team.

Sonic- Ok, why was that even there?!

Then Sonic kicked the Feraligatr in the nose and made it run away. Then Sonic approached Meowth was holding onto the left lever before pocking Meowth in both eyes.

Meowth- AAAAAHHHH!

Sonic- That was for dunking me in that Feraligatr pit!

Then Sonic pulled the other lever and the door opened up.

Meowth- Ok, shale we throw caution to the wind and…

Just then, Marx grabbed Meowth and pulled him away before a large safe that fell from above landed on him.

Meowth- What the?!

Marx- You might want to watch your step there. Surely you remember that Palutena and Viridi warned us that Jayx planted boobytraps all over this place.

Luigi- Uh…how did you know that was gonna land on Meowth?

Marx- Not sure how to describe it, but I think I'm able to think how Jayx things. We are the same type of jester after all. So I believe I know where these traps are set and how to avoid them.

King K. Rool- You're bluffing!

Marx- Palutena, Viridi, a marble, please.

Then a small marble appeared in Marx's wing.

Marx- Now then, as soon as I flick the marble to that floor tile, a panel in the wall will open up, and a bunch of blow darts will shoot from it and hit the wall on the opposite side of the room.

Then Marx flicked the marble. Once it struck that floor tile Marx pointed too, a panel in the wall opened and several darts shot out of it. But all they did was stick to the wall since no one was in the way of those poison darts.

Marx- Believe me now?

Kirby- In that case, you should lead the way, Marx.

Marx- Me?

Mario- You said it yourself. You know how Jayx thinks and you know how to avoid his boobytraps.

Marx- Ok then. Just leave it to me!

(In another part of the temple)

Flames were seen shooting down a hallway to a large room as screams of pain could be heard. Then the sound of billiard ball being hit by a pool stick could be heard before the sound of a billiard ball hitting someone's eye could be heard. Then Dimentio, Vaati, and Poke'mon Hunter J barely managed to crawl out of that hallway and into the final room of the temple, only Dimentio had the 8-ball wedged into his eye socket. Poke'mon Hunter J had most of her coat shredded as well as her goggles having a broken lense. Vaati had a black eye and most of his hair was burnt off. Meanwhile, Charmy was laughing his head off while him, Adeleine, and Ribbon were still trapped in the large cage and Olly and Olivia were still locked in that smaller cage with the shock collars.

Charmy- Oh boy! This is too rich! 8-ball…corner pocket! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And I believe that's the same eye I stung with my stinger earlier! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Then Dimentio reached into his eye and struggled to pull the 8-ball out of his eye socket. It took some effort, but Dimentio eventually pulled the 8-ball out. Charmy continued to laugh, until Dimentio threw the 8-ball at Charmy's head and knocked him to the floor of the cage.

Charmy- …ow…

Adeleine- Charmy!

Ribbon- Oh my gosh! Are you ok?!

Dimentio- Well…I'm glad you got a good laugh out this…because it will be the last you'll ever get! Once we're done with the resurrection ritual, we're ending your games!

Then Dimentio had his hand over his eye before grabbing the small cage containing Olivia and Olly.

Dimentio- Oh…my eye…the pain…

Poke'mon Hunter J- Tabuu had better reward us well enough to compensate all that we went through for this!

Vaati- Hey…what's that?

Then Dimentio and Poke'mon Hunter J saw this large stone statue holding what looked to be a soul trapped inside a glowing sphere.

Dimentio- The Origami Empress' soul! We found it! And now, my dear Origami King…it's time for you and your sister to hold up your end of the bargain. After all, you did agree to it when Master Tabuu brought you back to life!

Olly just glared at Dimentio from his cage while Olivia shook in fear while acting like she was hiding behind Olly.

(Genie Realm)

Azra was looking at Olly and Olivia's predicament with a worried look on her face. Not long later, a small glowing red spirit appeared behind her.

Azra- Good that you're here. Things aren't looking good. Did you find that soul in the Overthere I asked you to find?

Red glowing spirit- Yes, I did. Quite the annoying bomb he was, but once I mentioned Olivia, he was willing to listen to me.

Azra- That's good. Because I don't think they'll make it in time to stop the ritual. And if worst comes to worst, he might be the only one who can reach Olivia.
