Chapter 2; A Couple's Date

Point being; Skidmark, Adam to his bitches and girlfriend, was a shitstain on society. He knew this, everyone knew this, and yet Squealer, Sherrel to Adam, loved him.
Every now and then, Adam sets aside the drugs and piss to make a gesture of love. Away goes the meth and out comes the table cloth and candles.
Shithole of a town Brockton may be, money's money, and that means a rented hotel room with fitted sheets and only the finest of room service. For a night of romance such as this they dress up in their best clothes, that is to say, a pair of jeans and a button-up shirt for Adam and a pair of leggings and a blouse for Sherrel.
Not very fancy or rich, but clean and comfortable. After all, who needs all that rich shit that the cum-gobbling rich pricks indulge in when you have love.
At a table set for two, plates of spaghetti of carbonara finished, with a glimmering view of the shithole they call home, Adam pulls out a small box.
"Ski-Adam?"
"Sherrel Bailey-"
So focused are they on each other, neither notice the speeding form of Gloryhole fast approaching their 7th story window.
"-I'm a mess. Frankly, you are the best thing in my sh-crappy life. You've put up with me for a while now, shenanigans and all."
"Oh Adam"
Neither did they notice Gloryhole's sudden reversal of momentum upon contacting their glimmering window.
"I don't want this, us, to end. So if you'd have me..."
The opening of the ring box, and Sherrel's gasped "Yes!", coincided with Gloryhole's rebound into a neighboring apartment block.
On this day, a newly wedded couple got fancy drunk on wine before making love, and Victoria Dallon got scolded for killing 7 people before discreetly burying said unreported accidents.

It's been difficult writing these two chapters because i've had a bunch of ideas for interruptions, but then i try to justify said interruptions and have to discard them. I don't know if that's me injecting too much reality into a fictional story or just being harsh on my writing.
Anyways, the Glory Girl b-plot was a surprise to me. I was originally going to have her ram into the floor below them and accidentally kill a guy, but decided that would be a bit too loud to ignore.
