Anakin met Padme who was hiding behind a pillar. "Anakin something wonderful has happened. I'm pregnant. "Padme says. "Wonderful! "Anakin replied. They kiss and go their separate ways. Suddenly a hand grabbed him and pulled Anakin behind another pillar. Darth Vader stood before him.
"Who are you? "Anakin asked. "I am Darth Vader, and I am from the future. One possible future for you. Maybe it's better if I show you. "Vader said as he removed his helmet and mask. Anakin was shocked to see himself looking back. "What happened to You? "Anakin asked.
"I know you are having visions of Padme dying in childbirth. Don't believe them. They are a sith trick. "Vader warned. "Palpatine is the Sith lord Darth Sidious. He has been grooming you to be his apprentice as he did with me. "Vader explained. "The jedi treat me like a slave or tool. "Anakin said. "That is because Palpatine is manipulating them. He clouded their vision and your future to make you grow to hate them. I injured Mace Windu in Palpatine's office believing he could teach me the power to save Padme. It was a lie. He was behind the assignation attempts on her life before the Clone Wars. "Vader explained. "What is Padme doing in the future? "Anakin asked. "Palpatine will tell you about Dark Plagueis who was his master. Don't believe anything he says. I did and I lost my (pauses) angel. "Vader warned. "How? "Anakin asked. By the time he asked it Vader was gone.
Darth Vader returned to the death star. "I spoke with Anakin and warned him about Palpatine. "Vader said. "That still might not be enough if the jedi council isn't aware of it. "Obiwan warned. "They are arrogant fools. That is why they were defeated so easily. "Vader replied. "I think we should go down there and talk to them. "Obiwan said. Night had fallen on Coruscant. The next day ObiWan, Luke, and Leia headed to the jedi temple aboard the Millennium Falcon. Han landed on the landing platform. After they got off the Falcon Han flew away. The guards stood by and left them through. "This place looks different from when I was here while serving in the senate. No blaster burns, cracked walls, or collapsed ceilings. "Leia said. "This is the jedi temple before it fell princess. Before it became imperial center. "Obiwan replied. They entered the elevator to the jedi council chambers and started up.
They stepped out of the elevator and into the council chamber where Anakin was standing in front of the council. "You are on the council. but we do not grant you the rank of master. "Mace Windu said. "Don't sit Anakin. You arrogant fools are slitting your own throats denying him that rank. You're only doing it because Palpatine made him his representative on the council. Palpatine doesn't care about this council. He wants to destroy it. "Old Obiwan said. "It's my older self from Mandalore. "Young Obiwan said. "None of you care how Anakin feels about it or if he is happy. "Old Obiwan groaned.
Darth Vader was watching the surface of Coruscant on the main view screen. He saw a shuttle heading towards Palpatine's secret hideout in an abandoned power station. Commander what kind of damage would a one reactor shot cause to the area around that power station? "Vader asked. "No one there for 20 miles. "The commander replied. When Vader saw Palpatine's shuttle arrive at the hideout he ordered the crew to fire. "Fire! One reactor only!" Vader shouted. Below Palpatine sensed danger and ran for his shuttle and opened the throttles to maximum. He recalled his days racing speeder on Naboo in his youth. Now he put those skills to the ultimate test. The superlaser slammed into the old power plant and caused it to explode in a massive fireball. Palpatine raced as fast as he could trying to outrun the shockwave. The jedi temple shock suddenly and the group was thrown off their feet. Vader watched the main view screen and saw Palpatine's shuttle racing away.
"You little creep! "Vader shouted as he pounded the console with his fist. Padme was knocked off her feet as well. C3P0 ran to her side. "Miss Padme are you alright? "Threepio asked. "I am fine. Padme was still wearing her blue silk nightgown. "I was worried about you. In your condition you could have been hurt seriously. "Threepio said. Padme stared at the mushroom cloud rising above the horizon. "Was that the separatists? "Threepio asked. "It was that thing in the sky. I saw a green beam come from it and hit that old power plant. I think somebody just tried to kill somebody. "Padme groaned. "We should leave. The odds of radioactive fallout are 1,0000,000,000 to "Padme cutoff Threepio "Never tell me the odds! "She shouted at the droid.
Back at the jedi temple Leia,Luke and Old Obiwan got back on their feet. "That blast came from the Death Star. That thing is operational! "Young Obiwan shouted. Leia grabbed her commlink and called Vader.
"What did you fire on father? "Leia asked. "Palpatine! I almost killed him at his secret hideout, but he got away. He must have sensed danger through the force. "Vader groaned.
"Would you tell your friend to relax his itchy trigger finger before someone gets killed. "Mace shouted. "I heard that and don't believe I am not above dropping a superlaser on your head Mace Windu. "Vader growled. Vader heard another voice calling to him on the comm. "Darth Vader this is Supreme Chancellor Palpatine calling you. "Palpatine called. Vader put him on the main view screen. "Darth Sidious! The man who caused so much trouble for the galaxy. "Vader growled. "Did you really think it would be that easy to kill me? Who are you and why are you after me? "Palpatine asked. "I know you are grooming Anakin Skywalker to be your apprentice. Putting visions in his head about his wife Padme dying in childbirth. Telling him you know of a way to save her you big liar! "Vader shouted. "It is his destiny to become a sith lord. "Palpatine said. "It will fail. "Vader answered. "Why? "Palpatine asked. 'I am Anakin Skywalker after you turned me into Darth Vader with your lies. I came from 19 years in the future. "Vader explained. "That explains a lot. Where did you get that death star? "Palpatine asked. "It's already being built by the geonosians. How ironic you are being destroyed by your own superweapon. I already destroyed Exegol with it and your hideout here on Coruscant. You are trapped like a womprat. "Vader said. "You can't fire again without destroying the jedi temple and 500 republica where there is someone you don't want to kill. "Palpatine said.
"If you try to leave this planet, I will blow you out of the sky! "Vader shouted. "You fool. I will turn Anakin to the darkside and not make the mistakes that created you. "Palpatine growled. "I won't tell you what they were fool! "Vader shouted. Palatpine cut the feed.
"You heard that jedi council? "Vader asked. "Failed Vader we have. Fail Anakin and his wife we cannot. "Yoda said. "The sith lord Palpatine is. Defeat him we must. Four must go. Anakin, Mace, Obiwan , and me. "Yoda said. "We will lock down the temple after we leave. "Mace Windu said. "I think it is time for Leia and Luke to meet their mother. "Obiwan said as he motioned them to leave.
