Chapter 17: The Bomb Ghost

The Origami Empress Dragon roared and unleashed a small burst of Tabuu's energy that almost blew Ultra Mario and the others off their feet. Ultra Mario reached for Marco's sword and unsheathed it.

Ultra Mario- Maybe now that she's using Tabuu's power, Marco's sword can work on her.

Ultra Mario rushed up to her face and swung Marco's sword, but the sword bounced off her nose like it was made of rubber.

Tabuu (telepathically to Ultra Mario)- My power might be flowing through her body and that sword can destroy my power, but the Origami Empress' body is still immune to that sword. So…middle finger to you, Mario! HAHAHAHAHA!

Then the Origami Empress Dragon swung her tail at Ultra Mario. Ultra Mario held Marco's sword out to attempt to block, but he just ended up getting knocked into the wall on the other side of the room.

Fire Luigi- Mario!

Origami Empress Dragon- You should be more concerned for yourself!

The Origami Empress Dragon was about to take a bite out of Fire Luigi, but then Palutena's magic cast Explosive Flame on the Origami Empress Dragon and engulfed her in the explosion. The Origami Empress Dragon got back up, but it was clear that Explosive Flame did some damage to her. But with one swing from her wings, the Origami Empress put out the flames.

Pit- How is her paper body not bursting into flames after that?

Sonic- This is starting to feel like the power of Chaos might be needed here.

Then Sonic pulls out the Chaos Emeralds and transforms into Super Sonic.

Super Sonic- Let's see if I can fold you faster than I folded Olivia with Super Sonic speed!

Then Super Sonic struck the Origami Empress Dragon in the face a few times with his spin dash, but it looked like it was doing little to harm her. After a few spin dashes at her body, the Origami Empress Dragon swung her tail at Super Sonic. Super Sonic dodge, but he realized what he ended up doing. Instead of hitting Super Sonic, the Origami Empress Dragon's tail hit both Tails and Charmy from above, nailing them into the floor like a hammer.

Super Sonic- Tails!

Espio- Charmy!

Vector- Hang on, little buddy! We'll get you out of there!

Then the Origami Empress Dragon saw Kirby still driving Robobot and having Robobot scan her from behind before turning into Fire Robobot!

Kirby- POYO!

Fire Robobot shot a stream of fire at the Origami Empress Dragon spat out a stream of fire to block Robobot's. Bandana Dee attempted to strike with spear, but one of her dragon legs kicked backwards like a mule and knocked Bandana Dee into Risky Boots and knocked them both into one of the columns in the temple, causing it to fall on top of them.

Ash- Melmetal, flash cannon! Pikachu, thunderbolt! Ho-Oh, sacred fire!

Goh- Cinderace, pyro ball! Regieleki, electro ball! Suicune, hydro pump!

The Poke'mon attacks struck, but when the smoke cleared, it was revealed that the Origami Empress Dragon used Tabuu's power to create an energy barrier around her body to block the Poke'mon attacks. But then another set of wings appeared from the Origami Empress Dragon's body…a set of rainbow-colored wings.

Donkey Kong- Oh shit!

Ty- She's going to use the Off-Wave!

Then the Origami Empress launched the Off-Wave from her body. But then Ultra Mario struck at the burst of energy with Marco's sword and broke the Off-Wave before it could hit anyone.

Ultra Mario- At least Marco's sword can still block Tabuu's attacks.

Fire Luigi- But it still won't do us much good if it won't hurt her.

Meanwhile on the sidelines, Poke'mon Hunter J pulled out her little arm laser.

Vaati- Uh…J…what are you doing?

Poke'mon Hunter J- This is taking too long. And even though the Origami Empress can't be hurt by that sword, Mario was still able to cut right through Tabuu's strongest attack, the Off-Wave. I think I'll just petrify Mario and make things a lot easier for the Origami Empress.

But before she could fire, an invisible presence slammed right into her arm and broke the arm laser gun.

Poke'mon Hunter J- What?!

Dimentio- Hang on…I sense a ghost present…

Then Dimentio activated Tabuu's power in his body and was able to see a spirit that looked like a Bob-Bomb standing near Poke'mon Hunter J. But once this ghost of a Bob-Bomb realized that Dimentio could see him, he immediately vanished again.

Dimentio- A Bob-Bomb? This seems kind of random. Why would the author put in a ghost of a random Mario enemy for…unless…that was no random Bob-Bomb, was it…?
