Chapter 19: Olivia's Plea

Suddenly, Ultra Mario, Fire Luigi, and Bowser heard a voice speaking to them.

Olivia's voice- …r…io…Ma…io…Mar…io

Ultra Mario- Wait…Olivia?!

Then Olivia's image suddenly appeared in the large purple heart on the chest of Origami Empress Dragon.

Bowser- Olivia?!

Olivia- Please…help me…

Origami Empress Dragon- What the…who are you? And why are you inside of me?

Olivia- My name is Olivia, a fellow origami. Just like my brother Olly is. But because of what Tabuu did to us in order to revive your soul, we're no trapped inside of you…ghawh…and Tabuu's power is slowly draining the life from us…I haven't much time…Listen to me, Origami Empress…Tabuu really is just using you…just like how he used me…and all of his followers…treats them all like slaves…

Suddenly, Olly appeared in the purple heart on her chest right next to Olivia.

Olly- That was just an act. Tabuu knew he could easily win your trust over just like how he got me and Olivia to trust him by refolding our bodies and telling us he needed us to help him with something he had been working on. What Tabuu didn't tell us what he wanted to use Olivia and myself as a sacrifice. The only reason Tabuu is wants you is because that sword Marco Mario once wielded. It is capable of destroying Tabuu's power…and is capable of even killing Tabuu!

Fire Luigi- Wait…did Olly say…that sword could kill…Tabuu…

Over by the wall, Ash, Pikachu, Adeleine, Ribbon, Cinderace, and Suicune were trying to get Goh from the debris that fell on him, but they stopped to look at Olly and Olivia.

Olivia- All this fighting…all this violence…all of it is not what origami is meant for. We were meant to dream…to bring ideas to life…and share the love of creation with others. That's what Origami is meant for. Deep down, you must know that to be true, Origami Empress.

Super Sonic and Pit managed to pull Tails out of that hole in the floor, although Tails was still in rough shape and his legs were still broken. And Espio and Vector pulled Charmy out of that hole as well. However, they turned their attention to Olly and Olivia.

Origami Empress- Yes…I remember…father told me that…grrrrr…but then he ruined…

Olly- Tell me something, Origami Empress…is my story any different from yours? I too was brought into this world when an Origami Craftsman performed the Fold of Life. However, I had discovered that my creator had written on my body…I was so angry…I just wanted to destroy everything in my sight. Little did I know, it was a message that said "Dearest Olly, may you grow into a fair and kind king." But in my rage, I caused so many horrible things to happen and almost destroyed the Mushroom Kingdom. And worst of all…I almost killed my sister, Olivia, in the process. And I would never have forgiven myself if anything happened to her because of my doing! But Olivia was managed to open my eyes that this was not what I should be using the power of origami for.

Ty, Link, and Marx were pushing a column off of Bandana Dee and Risky Boots. But after they got the fallen column off of them, they all stopped to pay attention to what Olly and Olivia were saying.

Origami Empress Dragon- I guess…you and I…aren't so different after all, King Olly…but still…who can I trust? Who should I believe?

Olivia- You can trust in us for starters. We know you're not a monster.

Olly- You're Origami…like us.

Origami Empress Dragon- You…have a good point there. I still don't know if what you say about Tabuu is true or if I should trust the Mario Brothers…but what I do know is I shouldn't be keeping your souls trapped inside of me and draining the life out of you. I'm going to remove your souls out of there and see I can fold you into something…

Before she could finish, Tabuu's mark lit up on her left claw and her body just froze all of a sudden.

Origami Empress Dragon- Hey…what's going…

Tabuu (telepathically to the Origami Empress Dragon)- (Sigh)…you disappoint me, Origami Empress…such a shame too…

Origami Empress Dragon- Tabuu…?! Why are you…

Tabuu (telepathically to the Origami Empress Dragon)- But luckily, I can simply use that sample of my power I gave to you to control your body and finish the job myself.

Origami Empress Dragon- You…you traitor…AAAAAAAAAAAA!

Then a dark aura surrounded her body as her eyes began to glow red and Tabuu was controlling her mind and body.

Origami Empress Dragon (Tabuu's voice)- That's better. No more to this stupid "Origami is about love and creating" bullshit!

Olly- Mock origami while you still can, Tabuu…because it's about to bit you twice as hard in the ass!

Olivia- Mario, remember when you used Marco's sword to remove Tabuu's mark from my hand? Since Tabuu used both of our bodies to fold the Origami Empress' new body without Tabuu realizing what you did to me earlier, there is a spot on the Origami Empress' dragon form that is vulnerable to Marco Mario's sword!

Fire Luigi- Seriously?!

Mario- Where?!

Olly- The purple heart on her chest…right where Olivia and I are speaking to you from.

Suddenly, Olly and Olivia began to fade from the purple heart on the Origami Empress Dragon's chest.

Olivia- Our time to speak to you is up. But Mario, you must save us…just like how you saved Olly. But promise me…you will save the Origami Empress too…because deep down…she's a good origami…just like Olly and me…

Then Olly and Olivia vanished back into the darkness inside the Origami Empress Dragon. Then Mario reached for Marco's sword sheathed on his left hip.

Ultra Mario- Don't worry, Olivia…

Then Ultra Mario drew the sword.

Ultra Mario- …I will…

Origami Empress Dragon (Tabuu's voice)- Marco Mario's sword…again? Haven't you realized yet? The Origami Empress' body is immune to thing. It might be able to cut through my actual body, but not hers…

Then Ultra Mario rushed up to the purple heart on the Origami Empress Dragon's chest and struck at it with Marco's sword. To Tabuu's surprise and horror, he felt a familiar pain when he was struck. Tabuu had the Origami Empress Dragon clench her chest where Ultra Mario slashed at and was trembling.

(Tabuu's palace in Subspace)

Tabuu was sitting on his throne and he was clenching onto his own chest in the exact same spot. Fawful and Hades looked at Tabuu after they noticed the shocked expression on Tabuu's face.

Fawful- Uh…Master Tabuu…?

Hades- Is…everything alright, Tabuu? You're starting to worry even me.

Tabuu trembled as he was coming to grips with the pain he was feeling on his chest. But when he removed his hand from his chest, he saw traces of his own blood staining his palm.

Tabuu- …impossible…

(Back at the Origami Empress' temple)

Tabuu was still in control of the Origami Empress Dragon, but it took him a few moments to pull himself together after getting struck by Marco's sword like that. Eventually, he had the Origami Empress Dragon remove her claw from her chest and turned to look at Ultra Mario.

Ultra Mario- What's the matter, Tabuu? Your so-called edge against my ancestor's sword not working for you as well as you hoped?

Origami Empress Dragon (Tabuu's voice)- **** you, Mario…just…a mere setback…

Tabuu had the Origami Empress Dragon approach Ultra Mario, Fire Luigi, and Bowser and glared at them.

Origami Empress Dragon (Tabuu's voice)- I've endured this pain from that sword several times! Nothing I'm not used to by now! And besides, the rest of her body is still immune to that sword! I just have to be careful around this chest and…

Then Donkey Kong jumped up swung his Monkey Punch to knock the Origami Empress Dragon into the air.

Pikachu- CHUUUUUUUUU!

Then Pikachu's thunderbolt electrocuted the Origami Empress Dragon and knocked her back to the ground. But as the Origami Empress Dragon was attempting to get back up, Super Sonic and Elephant Shantae rammed into her and knocked her into a wall.

Super Sonic- Easier said than done, Tabuu! Because we can pummel the Empress' body and expose the weak spot for Mario to use that sword on!

Tails attempted to fly, but Super Sonic quickly grabbed him, placed him next to Adeleine and Ribbon, and waved his finger at Tails.

Super Sonic- No Tails! Your leg is still broken. Can't risk you doing any more damage to that leg while you're still this injured.

Tails- But I'm fi…

Then Tails cringed in pain as Ribbon gently poked a part of Tails' body with her finger and Tails dropped to the ground.

Super Sonic- Adeleine, do Tails a favor and draw a first aid kit for Tails' wounds.
