Season 1: Episode 10
Alison grinned as she smoothed out the skirt of her tennis uniform. She looked around, taking note that a lot of the student body in the crowd, along with a few family members.
"I see I'm not the only one surprised by just how much of a turnout this got."
She turned to Emily, smiling brightly as her eyes moved up and down Emily's appearance, also wearing a suitable uniform.
"Yeah, it's gonna be cool. Looking good, Em." Alison replied.
Emily blushed but shook her head and smiled. "Thanks Ali, well, we better get going, the matches are going to be set up soon."
Alison nodded and they went to join the other girls, naturally Mona was there, that was who Emily had noticed was there when she checked the flyer and decided to sign up, hoping to take her down.
"I see they'll just about anything join this tournament." Mona remarked scathingly towards Alison and Emily.
Alison didn't even react and so Emily took her cue from that and did the same. Instead she spotted Mona in the crowd and smiled warmly at her as she waved enthusiastically to Emily. The other girls were there too, a self-conscious looking Aria, a determined Spencer and Hanna, who naturally seemed concerned with making sure that she looked the best in her uniform.
'Typical Hanna nowadays from what I've seen.' Ali noted. 'You do look great girl.'
The other ten girls involved in the tournament were also approaching, Alison only recognized three of them however, one of them gave her a shock.
The first familiar girl was naturally Amber, who almost at once stood by Mona, who was silently fuming at the lack of reaction she got, while the second was a blonde haired, blue eyed, tan skinned girl, every bit the stereotypical archetypal cheerleader named Jill Martin, so stereotypical she irritated the actual cheerleaders, the ones who took the sport seriously. The third girl however was one she knew by name, Chantelle Richards, a girl who, aside from lacking the high cheekbones and having a notable beauty spot beneath her right eye, was the spitting image of Spencer. Ali barely paid attention to the other seven girls, unable to put her finger on exactly why she was apprehensive about this girl Chantelle. It was right there, on the edge of her mind, but just out of reach. She turned her attention to something else, deciding to try and push the worry from her mind for now. That was when she saw her again, Emily had seen her before in the swimming locker room, however Emily didn't know Alison had noticed her too, that girl who had been looking at Emily strangely that day in the locker room. She was here, in the audience, giving Emily that strange look again, before moving her gaze up, directly opposite from where she sat, eyes narrowing. Ali followed her gaze and noted that she was sending that look at Maya.
'Hmmm, interesting.' Ali mused.
Regardless she focused once more as soon the match up draws were made and they'd all know their opponents.
Alison smiled lightly as she readied for her first match, against Amber no less.
"I hope you don't have any delusions of winning, Alison."
She turned and quirked an eyebrow at Mona. "Don't you have a match to be getting ready for, Mona. I'm busy."
Mona sneered. "Practicing your excuse when you lose, you don't stand a chance against Amber and you know it."
"That's funny, considering she barely knows how to play and I've been playing for years." Alison shot back, not letting Mona rile her.
Seeing this wasn't working, Mona snorted and stalked off, it was then Alison noticed Jill standing there too.
"Can I help you?" She asked, making it clear through her tone that she wasn't going to stand for any nonsense.
But Jill didn't seem to get the memo. "You should be more respectful, DiLaurentis, Mona can easily ruin you, you know."
"Funny, I could easily do the same to her." Alison shot back. "Like I said to her, don't you have a match, bye."
Jill glared at that and stormed off, clearly not happy with Alison not giving her the reaction she wanted. Making her way up to the court, Amber already waiting and smirking at her, as if thinking she'd already won, Alison shook her head, she had thought originally about holding back, but now she had decided enough was enough, she was going to take this girl down, no matter what.

The match had been a disaster for Amber, she was easily thrashed by Alison much to her shock and outrage, and Mona's disappointment. Not only that but Jill hadn't done well either, also being taken out in the first round. This brought the girls down to eight and the next round of matches went through, sadly leading to Hanna, Aria and Emily being defeated and the semi-finals were due to start, only four left.
"Well, this should be interesting." Alison remarked.
Spencer shrugged. "I'm more concerned about what's going on with Chantelle...where did she go?"
It was true, Alison noticed too that Chantelle had vanished. It was supposed to be her against Mona, while Alison would be facing Spencer. Seeing a lot of talking going on, the girls began to get more concerned, finally after some talking, two of the staff in charge of the tournament then left while a third began making an announcement.
"You've got to be kidding me." Spencer muttered.
Alison quirked an eyebrow. "What are you thinking, that Mona had something to do with it?"
Spencer shrugged. "Wouldn't surprise me."
The announcement had been that due to Chantelle's absence, her match with Mona could not take place and so Mona had received a buy to the finals, which meant Spencer and Alison would have their match now, to determine the final match up.
"Alright, let's do this." Alison said.
Spencer nodded and they made their way onto the court.

Alison stood with narrowed eyes, ready as she stood on the court, facing Mona for the final match, Spencer's words echoing in her head, still shocking her.
"Teach her a lesson."
That was all Spencer had said, but that was enough for Alison to know that Spencer had deliberately not playing her best and let Ali win, for that very reason, to teach Mona a lesson.
'Don't worry Spencer, I will teach her a lesson.' She thought to herself.
With that she threw up the ball and served, starting the final match.

Alison grinned as the crowd cheered, Emily had reached her side in no time at all, along with the other seven girls who had been defeated, all of them congratulating her on her win over Mona. She'd won the tournament and shown up Mona in front of much of the school. She saw Maya in the crowd, applauding with a wide grin. Hanna, Spencer and Aria hadn't come up to her, but she knew why and appreciated the secret smiles they sent her anyway. Mona was glaring as Amber and also Jill had joined her, trying to commiserate. It was only then she noted something that marred the celebration of her victory, including her finally making the startling connection. Chantelle was still missing and Chantelle resembled Spencer, just as Bethany had resembled her and the other murdered girls resembled her other old friends.
End of chapter, hope you enjoyed it, read and review please.
