Chapter 1: I Would Die For You
Noah Puckerman drove all night to Quinn Fabray's house in New Haven with three-year-old Tracy Anderson asleep in her car seat. Tracy's parents, Kurt and Blaine, called Noah several times, but he wouldn't answer them. When he was almost in New Haven, he called Kurt and said, "Quinn broke up with me, Kurt! I didn't dump her! She dumped me! Tracy calls me Uncle Hulk and Quinn Auntie Black Widow, Kurt! Tracy believes Quinn and I are meant to be! I will prove to Quinn that I'm not giving up on us!"
Noah notices Tracy is awake and motions for him to give her his phone. He stops to hand her the phone before she yells, "Dada, I know Aunt Beth is Nono's daughter! She looks like Aunt Sarah, dummy! Queenie ignores me, too, Dada! Have you noticed that she avoids looking at us, at our house parties? Nono had to hide in my room on Valentine's Day so Queenie would be happy, Dada!"
She ends the call as Noah drives away and says, "Thanks for not telling on me, Nono. I had G' Pa Burt put me in your truck while you yelled at Queenie on your phone. I was mad that she made Dada upset by talking about Nana Elizabeth dying. I didn't lose Mama Rachel, but I barely knew her. Like I told my Dada, Aunt Beth looked like Aunt Sarah. I saw a picture of Aunt Sarah on your Facebook page holding Aunt Beth as a baby on her birthday. I yelled at Nana Shelby for making you take it down, then again when I didn't see you at the funeral."
Noah pulls into a gas station and says, "That's another reason I brought you. You are not the only one that knows Quinn avoided us. I thought if Quinn saw you with me. It would help me get her back. Did you ever hear about your Uncle Finn, Tracy?"
Tracy takes a picture from her pocket and says, "I found this picture of him with Queenie in a picture album, and Papa Blaine told me Uncle Finn was Mama Rachel's boyfriend before she married Uncle Jesse."
Noah looks at the picture and says, "This was taken before he learned I was Beth's daddy. We fought, and he broke up with Quinn before Beth was born. Quinn wanted to keep her, but I thought she would be better off with your Nana Shelby."
Then Rachel texted Noah with the message, "Kurt told me my mini-me was with you. I made her a Hulk doll that looks like what you used to see at Build-A-Bear. Sorry, I haven't talked to you since Finn died. I'm also sorry I didn't give you and Quinn's relationship the benefit of the doubt. Finn and I had ups and downs. But we always worked things out. Kurt will never admit this, but you became like a brother to him after COVID-19 hit. I can't believe you and Burt own the shop together. LOL, I knew you disabled Kurt's car in high school. GTG, I'm at Quinn's. See you soon."
Quinn Fabray couldn't sleep after her fight with Noah and flipped through the channels on her TV until she came across the video for Love Me Anyway as Noah finds it on the radio as they sing along. Soon there is a knock on her door, and she sees Noah before they sing along with You Are The Reason by Calum Scott & Leona Lewis before they kiss.
Quinn looks at Tracy and says, "I know, I know. You are not Beth, and it was stupid of me to dump Nono and avoid you. Mama Rachel was already here. She waited on you to get here. But I threw her out."
She then tells Noah, "I can't, Puck." Then Noah sings his version of I Am Changing from Dreamgirls.
He takes Quinn's hand and says, "You love me, Quinn. You know it, and I know it. Beth might be dead, but I'm not, and you can't throw away what we had. I'm not giving up on us, Quinn. " Quinn rolls her eyes as Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley plays on her TV, and Tracy giggles as Noah chases Quinn around the room as he sings along.
He catches her as the song Give Me A Reason by Pink plays on TV before they sing along. Neither of them knew that Tracy was streaming it on Facebook until they heard her giggle and saw her holding Noah's phone. Then Biff McIntosh walks in before Noah picks up Tracy, who says, "Puta!" as they leave.
Quinn tried to call Noah several times after this, but he wouldn't answer, and he was enraged by the twentieth call. He soon answers and says, "I don't want to hear it, Quinn. I saw how you looked at him. I love you and only you. I meant what I said, Quinn. Do something for me, Quinn. Think about what you want." He ends the call before she can reply and pulls over before breaking down.
When he is on the road again, Tracy listens to her iPod, and she sings along with At The Beginning by Richard Marx and Donna Lewis. Noah soon found himself singing along and smiling as he knew he would win Quinn back somehow. Tracy was asleep when they returned as Kurt and Blaine planned Tracy's birthday party. Noah knew Quinn was coming to the party and had a backup plan he hoped would get Quinn to come back to him.
At the party, Quinn avoided Noah, who was dressed as Flinn Ryder, while she was dressed as Rapunzel. Biff storms out after Quinn calls him Puck for like the fifth time. Then Tracy whispers something to Kurt before she has Noah and Quinn dance with each other as I See The Light from Tangled plays as they sing along.
Then Quinn runs out as Noah chases after her. It was raining when Noah shouted, "I love you, Quinn! You can keep running, but I will never stop chasing you! I might not be Finn or Biff, but I love you!" Quinn stopped briefly when Noah said, "I love you" but when to her car, where Biff was waiting on her and left without saying a word.
A week later, Noah left the Air Force and bought the house Kurt grew up in. He soon restores the house to its former glory. At the same time, Quinn plans to marry Biff after his father becomes friends with the Kennedys and sells apples to them for apple brandy. However, one day, while trying on a wedding dress, she faints when she sees Noah in the newspaper.
A half-hour later, Quinn is in her bathroom staring at Noah's picture in the newspaper as it's propped up on the toilet as she takes a bubble bath. Soon, she shows up on Noah's doorstep and sees him having dinner with Shelby. Quinn thought Noah moved on, but Shelby assured her they were only friends.
Soon they are in Noah's bedroom making love all night. When Noah woke up, Quinn was gone and left a note that said, "I'm Sorry, Puck." Noah soon started running. He didn't know where he was going; he just felt like running. Meanwhile, Quinn marries Biff and has a daughter named Elizabeth. Soon Noah makes the news because of his running. When he returns a year later, his sister, Sarah, tells him their mother, Norah, is dying.
Months later, Quinn is on the Dr. Phil Show with Biff, and she learns Biff had an affair with her new best friend, Connie. After the show, Quinn returns to Lima with Elizabeth and hides at her parent's house.
