Hello, guys! Here is the first chapter of Grand War Chronicles! Luffy, Blizzard, Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa reunite with their close friends and family to discover why are they're on Planet Earth and their purpose. Enjoy!
Chapter 1 - A Crew Reunited
Unknown Dimension
In a strange dimension full of decay and death, a lone figure was sitting on their empty throne recently seeing footage of Luffy and his new friends dominating against Lucci and Hordy by some form of strange magic.
"How disappointing." The figure said, revealing the voice to be male.
"But that's merely a prelude of what's to come." The figure added.
Standing up, revealing himself to be some kind of demonic humanoid with strange horns from his head and shoulders; though he's covered in the shadow of his throne.
"Now… let the game begin." The demonic figure said.

32 Tarrywile Lake Rd, Danbury
It was a bright and early morning for any person to either sleep later or wake up now. In the case of the young twins, they were bright and early while their parents were sound asleep.
Carefully, they tiptoed from their bedrooms down to the kitchen to hopes their new "guests" didn't make a racket.
To their surprise, they see Alear and Nagisa playing a game of UNO (in reality, Nagisa is teaching the Divine Dragon a lesson in the modern world), Blizzard is laying on the floor, and Ichigo keeping Luffy occupied from eating the family's food by giving him Frosted Flakes cereal with almond milk.
"I see you guys made yourselves at home." The boy said.
"Well, we had to keep Luffy-san from making noise and eating up all your food in return for your hospitality." Nagisa explained.
"Well I'm hungry." Luffy said, while also chewing on some cereal.
"Eat first. Then talk." Blizzard, Ichigo and the girl said in unison, annoyed.
"UNO." Nagisa declared, having only one card left to win.
Alear whistled in defeat. "You're good."
"Not bad yourself for a first timer." Nagisa commented.
"By the way - who are you two?" Ichigo asked, referring to the twins.
"My name's Sam Spartan." Sam introduced.
"And I'm Sarah Spartan." Sarah introduced.
"And we're twins." Sam and Sarah said in unison.
"You guys can call me Monkey D. Luffy." Luffy said, finishing his cereal.
"Blizzard here is my buddy." Luffy added, pointing to his trusty guard dog.
Blizzard raised his head and nodded.
Sam and Sarah were sheepishly waving.
"I'm Ichigo Kurosaki." Ichigo said.
"Call me Alear." Alear said.
"And I'm Nagisa Shiota." Nagisa said.
"Can we ask how did you guys get here?" Sarah asked.
The five heroes were pondering on that factor with so many questions to mind.
Nagisa suddenly got a ring on his smartphone and took it out of his pocket. He looked at some kind of text which got him confused. Nagisa tapped to get Alear's attention.
"Can you help me with this?" Nagisa asked, showing the message on his phone.
Transport to the Somniel. Now.
Alear's eyes widened and started to smile a little.
"Gather around me, guys." Alear said.
Luffy, Blizzard, Ichigo and Nagisa gathered around the Divine Dragon.
"Does this mean you guys are leaving?" Sam asked.
"Don't worry. We'll see you two again soon." Ichigo said.
"Thanks for the food." Luffy said.
"Good grief." Blizzard said.
"Might wanna hold on. First time's gonna be a doozy." Alear said.
In a flash of blue light, the five disappeared without a trace, wildly confusing the twins.

The Somniel
Luffy, Blizzard, Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa arrived in an instant at the plaza of the Somniel, home to the Divine Dragon's army.
Alear smiled warmly to see his flying headquarters again, even when he's in a different world.
Luffy, Blizzard, Ichigo and Nagisa were totally shocked to even say a word for their first time in the sky.
But Luffy broke the silence out of absolute excitement. "We're on a flying island… TOO COOL~!"
"Not so loud!" Blizzard, Ichigo and Nagisa exclaimed in unison, covering their ears along with Alear.
"Figures that was you shouting." A voice said.
Luffy turned to his right and smiled. Standing before him were his fellow Straw Hat Pirates Sanji and the navigator plus being Luffy's fiancée, Nami. He ran over to Nami and hugged her, which she brightly returned before the two initiated a kiss.
Blizzard and Sanji smiled, while Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa were shocked with blushing faces.
"Sanji-kun. Get everyone here for me." Nami said.
"At your command, Nami-san!" Sanji hollered, saluting with heart-shaped eyes before leaving in a flash.
"Everyone?" Luffy, Blizzard, Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa asked in unison.

A few minutes later, Sanji returned with people that are dear friends and family to our five heroes (to their total surprised yet smiled expressions): Luffy's fellow Straw Hat Pirates Roronoa Zoro, Usopp, Tony Tony Chopper, Nico Robin, Franky, Brook, and Luffy's younger half-sister Monkey D. Aika (in her wolf pup form) and her Akita pup Kumi; Ichigo's fellow Soul Reaper comrades Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai, Quincy Uryu Ishida, fellow humans with powers Orihime Inoue and Yasutora "Chad" Sado, and his Mod-Soul sidekick Kon; Alear's comrades in the Divine Dragon Army composed of the four lords and their younger siblings Alfred and Céline from Firene, Diamant and Alcryst from Brodia, Ivy and Hortensia from Elusia, and Timerra and Fogado from Solm, Alear's Fell Dragon younger sister Veyle, his own retainers from the Land of Lythos and Stewards of the Dragon Vander (32nd Generation), and Framme and Clanne (33rd Generation), retainers Etie, Chloé, Lapis, Citrinne, Merrin and Kagetsu, and Veyle's loyal knight Mauvier; and Nagisa's graduated Class 3-E peers Kaeye Kayano, Karma Akabane, Tomohito Sugino, Yuma Isogai, Hiroto Maehara, Manami Okuda, Yukiko Kanzaki, Rio Nakamura, Meg Kataoka, Hinata Okano, Toga Yada, Masayoshi "Justice" Kimura, Sosuke Sugaya, Yuzuki Fuwa, Ryunosuke Chiba, Rinka Hayami, and Ryoma Terasaka, and lastly, Nagisa's new pet wolfdog, Blue.
Aika was the first to run towards her brother. "Big brother!"
Luffy crackled as he caught his sister and hugged her.
"Good to see you, sis." Luffy said.
Blue tackled Nagisa to the ground and began licking him playfully.
"Geez, girl! It's good to see you too." Nagisa said, laughing while trying to give himself some space.
"Never seen a blue wolf before." Kumi said.
"More like wolfdog. She's mostly like me." Blizzard said.
"It is good to see you safe and sound, Divine One." Vander said.
"Sorry for causing you guys any inconvenience." Alear said, trying to assure his allies knowing how worried they were over him.
"Don't sweat it. Vander was the most freaking out." Alfred said, getting a elbow to the gut from Céline.
"You know, this feels like a crossover for a long time." Fuwa said.
(A/N: Fuwa loves Breaking The Fourth Wall!)
"Who the heck she's talking to?" Ichigo asked, totally confused.
"It's a weird hobby of hers." Kaede answered.
"Alright. Let's get the introductions started already." Zoro said.

Soon enough, everyone gathered around from outside and near Café Terrace in a mixed-up formation within earshot.
"Why don't we start." Nami said.
"Certainly, Nami." Robin said, beginning to explain about the pirates among this group.
"My friends and I come from a world that's in the Pirate Era." Robin explained.
"Pirates from another world? In the open sea, you mean?" Diamant asked.
"Yep! We're the Straw Hat Pirates and I'm the captain!" Luffy proudly claimed, much to the bewilderment of those who can't imaging Luffy being in charge.
"There are rare fruits called Devil Fruits and whoever eats them gains extraordinary power at the cost of being unable to swim." Robin explained.
"Now that's cool." Clanne, Framme and Merrin commented in unison.
"My name's Monkey D. Luffy, thee future King of the Pirates who've eaten the Gum-Gum Fruit." Luffy explained, stretching his cheeks.
"King of the Pirates?" Ichigo's Group (except Sado) and Alear's Army asked in unison.
Only Class 3-E have a keen idea of what he means.
"The crew's swordsman, Roronoa Zoro." Zoro said
"I'm Nami, the crew's navigator." Nami said.
"The brave captain Usopp, the crew's sniper!" Usopp hollered.
"I'm Sanji, the crew's illustrious chef." Sanji said, in a charming-like expression.
"And womanizer." Zoro muttered.
"I heard that!" Sanji snapped.
"I'm the crew's doctor, Tony Tony Chopper. I've eaten the Human-Human Fruit that allows me to walk and talk like a human." Chopper explained.
"He's adorable!" Orihime, Rukia, Ivy, Timerra, Veyle, Framme, Céline, Hortensia, Chloé, Lapis, Citrinne, Merrin, Kaede, Okuda, Kanzaki, Nakamura, Okano, Yada and Fuwa thought in unison, adoring the little reindeer from their respective seats.
"The Straw Hats' archeologist, Nico Robin." Robin said.
"The shipwright Franky. It's SUPER nice to meet you!" Franky hollered, doing his signature pose.
"He's a robot!" Orihime, Sugino, Maehara, Nakamura, Yada, Kimura, Sugaya and Fuwa hollered in unison, extremely excited.
"Humming Swordsman Brook. Pleased to meet you all." Brook said.
"A walking skeleton?!" Rukia, Orihime, Ivy, Veyle, Clanne, Framme, Alcryst, Hortensia, Lapis, Sugino, Maehara, Okuda, Nakamura, Okano, Yada, Kimura and Sugaya thought in unison, scarred as their bodies turned white.
"By the way, Nami-san… can I see your panties this time?" Brook asked, only to get a powerful kick that sent him flying high into the sky, before falling back down hard as everyone (except for the other Straw Hats) watched with dumbfounded expressions.
"How many times no! And not in front of children!" Nami snapped.
"Idiot." Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, Franky and Blizzard thought in unison, deadpanned.
"This is my dog, Blizzard." Luffy said, introducing Blizzard.
Blizzard barked.
"He's gotta be WAY bigger than me!" Blue thought.
"He looks almost like your wolf, Merrin." Chloé commented.
Merrin nodded in agreement.
"My name is Monkey D. Aika!" Aika hollered, now transformed back into her human form.
"And this is my pup, Kumi." Aika said, holding Kumi.
Kumi yipped.
"She's also my baby sister." Luffy said.
Aika nodded with a smile, causing many of the girls to get all mushy at her cuteness.
"We'll go next." Uryu said, adjusting his glasses.
"In our world, we're known as Soul Reapers who exterminate Hollows and it's our jobs to send souls to the Soul Society, which is a peaceful place for them to rest." Rukia explained.
"We also use swords called Zanpakuto to combat these hollows." Renji explained.
"Rather impressive." Kagetsu commented.
Ivy started to shake at the mention of Soul Reapers.
"Y-You're not ghosts, are you?" Ivy asked, in a frightened manner.
"Something like that - but we're very much alive." Rukia explained.
Ivy sighed out of relief before composing herself.
"Most humans can't see us, except you guys for some odd reason." Renji explained.
"That is rather strange indeed." Maehara said.
"I'm Ichigo Kurosaki. Substitute Soul Reaper." Ichigo said.
"Lieutenant of Squad 13. Rukia Kuchiki." Rukia explained.
"Uryu Ishida. I'm a Quincy." Uryu explained.
"Quincy?" Etie asked.
"They're the opposite of the Soul Reapers, despite being capable of sensing spiritual beings and destroying Hollows." Rukia explained, now showing a picture of Quincy, only to be bunny drawings.
"I see your crappy art makes no sense as usual." Ichigo commented, only to get responded by an annoyed Rukia's thrown illustration to his face.
"Think you can teach her how to draw?" Nakamura whispered.
Sugaya shushed his girlfriend to best let it slide.
"My name is Orihime Inoue!" Orihime hollered.
"Yasutora Sado." Sado explained.
"I'm Squad 6 lieutenant, Renji Abarai!" Renji hollered.
"And this annoying little stuffed pervert is Kon." Ichigo said.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Kon exclaimed.
"Let us introduce ourselves next, Divine One." Vander said.
"Sure." Alear said.
"We come from a world of five realms: Firene, Brodia, Elusia, Solm, and the Land of Lythos." Alear explained.
"It has warriors, magic, and wonder." Alfred explained.
"Sounds interesting." Robin said.
"We also once had the power to call upon heroes through rings called Emblems." Ivy explained.
"That's cool!" Luffy, Usopp, Chopper and Fuwa hollered in unison, excited.
"Can you summon them now?" Karma asked, which unfortunately causing the Divine Dragon Army to feel sad.
"Nice going, man." Maehara and Sugino muttered in unison.
"Hey, it's fine. The bonds we share with them aren't gone even if they aren't with us now." Timerra said.
"And we will make sure to keep fighting in gratitude and hope." Diamant explained.
This made the Straw Hats, Soul Reapers (and Uryu, Orihime and Sado) and Class 3-E smile with pride.
"I'm the Divine Dragon, Alear." Alear said.
"Like an actual dragon?!" Luffy asked.
"Not exactly." Alear replied.
Luffy pouted, only to get a fist to the skull from Nami out of rudeness before she turned to Alear.
"Please forgive my captain for not being polite." Nami said.
"No, no. It's fine. I'd rather not have the formalities." Alear said.
"The Divine One would rather feel flattered and no harm done." Vander explained.
Usopp and Chopper sighed out of relief, but Ichigo, Blizzard and Nagisa gulped in nervousness for getting involved for last night's stunt.
"You can call me Alfred, crown prince of Firene." Alfred said.
"Diamant - crown prince of Brodia." Diamant said.
"I'm Ivy - crown princess of Elusia." Ivy introduced.
"You guys can call me Timerra! The crown princess of the Queendom of Solm." Timerra introduced.
"I'm Veyle. Pleased to meet you all." Veyle said, bowing.
"I am Vander. 32nd Steward of the Dragon." Vander said.
"I'm Clanne." Clanne said.
"And I'm Framme!" Framme hollered.
"And we're twins plus 33rd Stewards of the Dragon!" Clanne and Framme hollered in unison.
"I'm Céline. Princess of Firene." Céline said.
"Alcryst. Prince of Brodia." Alcryst introduced.
"Hortensia! Princess of Elusia!" Hortensia hollered, giving a wink.
"You guys can call me Fogado. Captain of the Sentinels and prince of Solm." Fogado explained.
"Both royalty and head of a task force?! Not bad." Kataoka thought.
"I'm Etie. Prince Alfred's retainer and knight of Firene." Eite explained.
"You guys can call me Chloé. Retainer of Princess Céline and noble knight of Firene." Chloé introduced.
"Citrinne. A noble of Brodia and Alcryst's retainer." Citrinne explained.
"I'm Lapis. A retainer of Prince Alcryst and knight of Brodia." Lapis explained.
"Call me Merrin. Knight of Solm and retainer to Princess Timerra." Merrin explained.
"I'm Kagetsu. Knight of Elusia and retainer to Princess Ivy." Kagetsu explained.
"And I'm Lady Veyle's royal knight, Mauvier." Mauvier explained.
"Why don't we go last?" Karma asked.
"Sure." Isogai answered.
"The world we come from is normal. But with some exceptions." Isogai explained.
"Exceptions?" Ichigo asked.
"We're students from Kunugigaoka Junior High School's Class 3-E. And we're also assassins." Nagisa explained.
"Assassins?" The Straw Hats, Ichigo's Group and the Divine Dragon Army thought in unison, surprised.
"It's a long complicated story. But we can tell you our class had an octopus teacher named Koro-sensei." Nagisa explained.
The other Class E students were stiff, realizing their secret might get out too soon.
"A whole year of crazy of having that nutty octopus as our teacher." Terasaka said, saving face a little.
"For our names, I'm Nagisa Shiota." Nagisa said, introducing himself.
"And this is my pet wolfdog, Blue." Nagisa added, introducing his new pet.
"Sup." Blue said.
"She looks like me at her size." Blizzard commented.
"You think so?" Kumi asked.
"My name is Kaede Kayano." Kaede said, introducing herself.
"Karma Akabane." Karma said, introducing himself.
"I'm Tomohito Sugino." Sugino said, introducing himself.
"My name is Yuma Isogai." Isogai said, introducing himself.
"The name's Hiroto Maehara. Nice to meet you." Maehara said, introducing himself.
"I-I'm Manami Okuda." Okuda said, introducing herself as she stuttered a bit.
"My name is Yukiko Kanzaki. It's a pleasure to meet you." Kanzaki said, introducing herself.
"Rio Nakamura." Nakamura said, introducing herself.
"Meg Kataoka. At your service." Kataoka said, introducing herself.
"Hinata Okano." Okanko said, introducing herself.
"I'm Toka Yada. Nice to meet you." Yada said, introducing herself.
"My name is Masayoshi Kimura." Kimura said, introducing himself.
"My name is Sosuke Sugaya." Sugaya said, introducing himself.
"I'm Yuzuki Fuwa." Fuwa said, introducing herself.
"Ryunosuke Chiba." Chiba said, introducing himself.
"Rinka Hayami." Hayami said, introducing herself.
"And I'm Ryoma Terasaka." Terasaka said, introducing himself.
"Now with that all done, we need to get-" Maehara said.
"Already coming, friends." A very familiar voice answered, appearing out of nowhere to answer Maehara.
Everyone were startled and jumped out of their seats a little.
Nagisa's eyes widened upon seeing who it was: Class 3-E's very own teacher back in the flesh: Koro-sensei!
"K-K…" Nagisa said, starting to tear up.
"Nurufufufufu~! No need to explain all the details right now, my boy." Koro-sensei explained, comforting the blue-haired boy with a tentacle to the head.
"Just know that I'm a living ghost back to give my all as a teacher!" Koro-sensei added, showing a green face.
Ivy hid behind Alear out of fear, much to his nervousness.
"Teach lives up to his unkillable reputation." Karma commented, attempting to perform a knife thrust at Koro-sensei, only for him to dodge at lightning speed.
The rest of Class E joined in with their Anti-Sensei guns and blades while everyone were merely watching the spectacle.
"This almost feels like old times." Zoro commented.
"I see you all are enjoying yourselves." A voice commented, which Ichigo cringed upon recognizing that goofy tone.
The gang turned to see none other than former Warlord of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and whale shark fishman Jimbei, Luffy's older foster brother and commander-in-chief Sabo and his pet golden retriever-husky Lucky, and his partner Koala, and another former Warlord of the Sea and captain of the Heart Pirates Trafalgar D. Water Law and his pet wolf-husky hybrid Jupiter; and owner of Urahara Shop Kisuke Urahara, Flash Master Yoruichi Shihoin, captain of Squad 6 and Rukia's older brother-in-law Byakuya Kuchiki, and captain of Squad 10 Toshiro Hitsugaya, and his lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto.
"Jimbei?! Sabo?! Koala?! Traffy?!" Luffy exclaimed.
"Lucky?! And Jupiter too?!" Blizzard exclaimed.
"Kisuke?! Yoruichi-san?! Byakuya?! Toshiro?! Rangiku?!" Ichigo exclaimed.
"Address me as Captain Hitsugaya." Toshiro said, annoyed.
"They were here with all of us last night before you guys showed up." Lapis explained.
Blizzard, Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa glared at Luffy, who was picking his nose before Nami slapped the back of his head for disgusting behavior.
"Figures that was Straw Hat's doing." Jupiter thought, annoyed.
"Should've known…" Koala and Lucky thought, face palming in annoyance.
"With everyone here, let's get started." Jimbei said.

With everyone now gathered around, it is time to full understand their situation.
"It would appear that our arrival in this world was the work of a demon lord." Kisuke explained.
"Demon lord?" Usopp and Chopper asked in unison, in fright.
"His name is Xeno. And let's say he's not alone." Law explained.
"He's backed up by not only an army of monsters called Phantoms, but also many enemies from our worlds that we've fought before." Toshiro explained.
"Both dead and alive." Rangiku said.
This shocked everyone present, while Luffy, Blizzard, Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa clearly remember their fight against Lucci and Hordy from yesterday.
"But… what is his goal?" Alfred asked.
"We suspect he's after two of the six most powerful weapons weapons in the cosmos: the Cosmic Stones of Mind and Space." Yoruichi explained.
"And to make matters worse, we can't go back home until we stop Xeno." Sabo explained.
"A very grim situation indeed." Byakuya said.
"I know this not a very ideal situation. Heck, I'm still trying figure how I'm brought back as a wandering spirit." Koro-senseei explained.
"The question to you all is: are you prepared to fight?" Jimbei asked.
Everyone became very silent on not sure what to do. That is, until Luffy stepped forward.
"Look. I don't get any of this at all - but let me say this." Luffy explained.
"We have dreams that give us meaning. And we're free to pursue them, not let some freaky demon take that away." Luffy continued.
"And what's more, I want my friends and family to see their dreams to the end, no?" Luffy finished.
Blizzard smirked. "You said it, bud."
Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa also stepped forward beside Luffy.
"Luffy's right. What matters the most is the people we love, and I will do what ever it takes to protect them all." Ichigo explained.
"No matter what world, as long as their are those who seek destruction and war, I'll use all my power to stop them." Alear explained.
"And what ever happens, we decide our own fates to the very end." Nagisa explained.
"So… is everyone in?" Luffy, Ichigo, Alear and Nagisa asked in unison, turning to their many companions.
One by one, each raised their hands or rose from their seats in total agreement.
"That's more like it." Jimbei said.
"Let's do it, guys!" Luffy hollered.
"YEAH~!" Ichigo, Kon, Alear, Nagisa, Blue, Nami, Blizzard, Aika, Kumi, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook, Jimbei, Sabo, Koala, Lucky, Jupiter, Orihime, Rukia, Uryu, Sado, Renji, Kisuke, Yoruichi, Toshiro, Rangiku, Byakuya, Ivy, Alfred, Diamant, Timerra, Veyle, Vander, Clanne, Framme, Céline, Alcryst, Hortensia, Fogado, Etie, Chloé, Lapis, Citrinne, Kagetsu, Merrin, Vander, Kaede, Karma, Sugino, Isogai, Maehara, Okuda, Kanzaki, Nakamura, Kataoka, Okano, Yada, Kimura, Sugaya, Fuwa, Chiba, Hayami, Terasaka and Koro-sensei yelled in unison.
The newly formed team of heroes start making preparations for the soon-to-be war and the trials that lie ahead.

Luffy: This is gonna be so awesome!
Zoro: I'm itching for new fights.
Sanji: I'm more itching to see so many beautiful women!
Zoro: That is all you think about, swirly-brows.
Zoro and Sanji clashed.
Sanji: Wanna fight me right now, Moss-head?!
Zoro: Any time and place!
Nami entered the scene, knocking out Zoro and Sanji.
Nami: Cut it out!
Luffy didn't bother to intervene and focused.
Luffy: Next time: Chapter 2 - Home in the Sky
Luffy: I can't wait to see what it's like to live on another Sky Island.
Nami: You've been to Skypeia, remember. Not your first time.
Did you like it? For the Fire Emblem Engage characters I'm using aside from the six main characters, Alear's Stewards, the younger siblings of each crown heir and Mauvier are Chloé, Etie, Merrin, Lapis, Citrinne and Kagetsu for reasons that will come to light in later chapters. It's understandable if anyone has their own opinions, and I don't mind.
Surprise for another thing, I'm using parts of my very first story: Assassin's Journey to go with this. Like using my first wolf OC Blue as Nagisa's pet from a different perspective, and Fuwa making references as "Breaking the 4th Wall".
Like Super War Chronicles, I will be take a break by the summer to do the revised version of the new War Chronicles Summer Tales and coming up with final ideas for the story. Also using this time for revisions of the prologues and first chapters of each story to correct any mistakes.
