"I love you, Misha!" Elias said firmly.

He pressed his lips against hers in a hard kiss. He refused to let go. She had to know he was there. He heard a sound coming from her throat. Some sort of gasp as if she was startled awake. She suddenly reached up and grabbed his wrist. He broke the kiss and looked at her. She blinked in confusion but she was there.

"Elias?" She asked.
"Yes, it's me. I'm here," he said.
"Are we dead?" She asked.
"No, but I fear we might be if we don't get the fuck off this bus," he said.

She looked around and looked even more confused.

"All these people," she said lowly. "What's going on?"
"I don't have a fucking clue and I don't want to know," he said. "Let's go."

He stood up and held out his hand. She took it and stood up next to him. They both knew they were in a place where no human should be. Some twisted pathway between life and death.

"I don't think we're allowed to leave," she said.
"I don't give a fuck!" He growled.

He kept holding on to her hand while walking back up to the bus driver.

"Open the door," he said.

There was no reaction from the bus driver. He just kept staring straight ahead as if they didn't exist.

"Open the fucking door!" Elias demanded.
"We're not allowed to leave," Misha said. "We stepped into a realm that doesn't apply to our wishes and rules. We can't leave. We can never leave, Elias."
"The fuck we can't!" He looked at her. "We're leaving and that's final."

He started kicking at the door. One way or another he would get it open. He refused to give up. It didn't seem to work but he kept kicking. She instead turned to the bus driver and started looking around. She noticed the red and green buttons that each had the words "open" and "close" on them. She leaned in and hit the red button with the word "open" on it. The bus door opened and the bus driver suddenly turned his head to look at her. He opened his mouth and let out a piercing scream that sounded like it came from a nightmare creature from another world.

"Let's go!" Elias shouted.

Elias grabbed Misha's wrist and pulled her out of the bus. They tumbled out on the road. When they looked up again, the bus was nowhere to be seen. On the other side of the road was a man walking his dog. He looked confused as hell to where Elias and Misha had just come from. He took off his glasses, looked at them, and shook his head. Elias turned to look at Misha and pulled her in for a tight hug.

"How did you know?" He asked.
"I figured that thing came from somewhere created by our world. It was a normal bus driven by some sort of uneartly entity," she said.
"You're fucking amazing," he said.

He pressed his lips against hers for a quick kiss and then took her hand.

"Let's go home," he said.
"Are you really home?" She asked.
"I am," he squeezed her hand. "News of my death was highly exaggerated."

He laced his fingers in between hers and they started walking. Once they reached their house, Seth came running out of the house while breathing fast.

"There you are," Seth moved his eyes from Elias to Misha. "Misha? You're alive?"
"Hi, Seth," Misha said.
"Oh my god!" Seth laughed.

Seth ran to them and pulled both of them into his arms.

"I don't believe it," Seth said. "What the hell happened?"
"That's a long story," Misha said.
"Care to tell it tonight over dinner?" Seth asked.
"Is Becky making her famous samosas?" Misha asked.
"She is now," Seth nodded. "Be there at 6?"
"We'll be there," Elias said.

Seth chuckled and hugged both of them again. He couldn't believe what he was seeing but he was happy. Elias and Misha were both back home safe and that was all that mattered.

"Run along now," Elias said.
"Right!" Seth laughed. "I'll see you later."

Seth got into his car and drove away. Elias and Misha walked into their house and sighed happily.

"We need a shower," he said.
"And a good nap," she said.
"And then some lunch," he said.
"And we need to talk," she said.
"That too," he gently stroked her cheek. "I love you, bunny. Nothing will ever pull us apart again. That's a promise."
