Hey Sumwing and Cutgro shippers, and welcome back to another chapter of Love With Wings! Before I get this show on the road, I just wanted to give a quick shout out to @steven4554 for all the help with this story so far! Thanks again and I hope you'll all enjoy reading.

Aggro's POV

The storm had continued to get worse and worse the more we flew through it, and it was pretty clear to me now more than ever that we had lost sight of the others and were now by ourselves with nowhere to go.

"Cutter, we need to find a cave or someplace to take shelter from the storm!" I called to him over the roaring wind and pouring rain. "It's not safe for us to be out in weather like this."

"I'm on it, Agg." He said, using his super-sight to scan the area for any suitable places for us to land and rest for the night.

After what felt like hours of searching, Cutter finally spotted something out of the corner of his eye.

"Hey, I think I found an island we can seek shelter from the storm on!" He called over his shoulder as the two of us flew down to investigate. "Let's see if we can find a cave."

I nodded my head and together, the two of us began poking and prodding at everything in sight.

We had been exploring the island for about an hour or so when a whole in a rock cliff-face caught my attention. I nudged Cutter with my wing and pointed to the opening of the hole.

"I think I found a place we can take shelter for the night," I told him while slowly approaching the cave opening. "Come on, let's go check it out." I nodded towards the cave and Cutter smiled warmly at me before the two of us slowly and cautiously entered the dark and eery blackhole-like cave.

"This place looks kinda sketchy if you ask me," I hear Cutter mutter under his breath as we kept on walking. I scowled and elbowed him in the side with one of my wings. "Ouch! What the heck was that for?"

I giggled and gave him a toothy grin.

"I just felt like doing it," I decided to tease him a little. "Why do you ask? Did you not enjoy my little jab?" I narrowed my eyes and blinked at him alluringly.

"You know, Cut. You're kinda cute when you scowl at me like that," I snickered quietly to myself upon seeing his face go a bright red.

An awkward silence fell on the two as Cutter stared down at his feet, his face still as red as my scales.

We explored the cave a bit more, with Cutter getting back at me for teasing him earlier.

I tried not to blush at his compliments, but I just couldn't help it! He's just so cue! Wait, what? Did I just think Cutter's cute?

I blushed a deep scarlet at the thought and stared down at my feet, avoiding Cutter's gaze as we walked on through the darkness.

"Do you think we'll ever get back home?" Cutter asks once he had returned from catching fish. I sighed softly and stared down at my feet.

"Well... to be honest with you, I have no idea, Cutter."

Cutter sighed and his wings drooped. I finished my fish and wrapped my small wings around Cutter in a comforting embrace. "We can't give up. I know the others will find us, we just have to have faith in them."

It was silent for a few more moments before I cleared my throat and stood to my feet.

"Let's find a place to sleep for the night," I told him with a yawn. "It's getting pretty late and we've both had a long day."

Cutter nodded in agreement, also looking quite worn out as the two of us found a small patch of moss to sleep in for the night.
