It's a sunny and glorious day in the World of Pokémon, and every Trainer and Coordinator was working their best to help make sure that the forces of evil are defeated, capacitated and always make sure their plans fail.

Of course protecting the world from evil isn't just what the trainers like to do, some of them like to form friendships or even beyond friendships. Being together with the work of the word love.

But of course, love doesn't just mean to someone. It could be like how Lisia loves to go to top coordinator reviews to give Serena and Dawn a rest from the cameras.

"Thank you all so much!" Lisia said, as she talked to the camera crew.

Or how Max loves to help out at the Pewter and Cerulean City Gym and feels proud to help take care of all the Pokémon that Brock and Misty use.

"There you go Gyarados, you're all clean now." Max said, as he finished cleaning Misty's Gyarados.

"Thanks for helping me wash Gyarados Max." Misty said, as her Gyarados growled happily.

Or like how our favourite Pokémon Watcher Tracey, loves to draw sketches of any Pokémon he sees.

"This is great, I've never seen a Galarian Farfetch'd before." Tracey said, as he sketched the Pokémon from the Galar Region.

Or how Gary loves to research Pokémon all over the world and explore new places.

"This Alolan Geodude is very interesting." Gary said, as he compared the Kanto and Alola Geodudes together.

But there's only one Trainer that loves to do anything more than anyone, and that is Ash, who loves travelling to explore all new Regions and discover new kinds of Pokémon.

The Trainers love to do their best, but this isn't where our story starts. It all started off like this.

One day at the Pokémon Centre in Vermillion City, Ash, Max and Bonnie were just getting ready to start a new day, when Charles Goodshow, the head of the Pokémon League, was giving the three their assignments for the day, and this is how it began.

"You've all been working very hard and I'm proud of you all." Charles Goodshow said. "Max, you'll be heading to the Celadon City Gym to help Erika clean her Pokémon. Bonnie, you'll be helping Paris the Poké-Stylist with her latest line of Pokémon Fashion. And you, Ash, shall be working in Lumiose City for the day."

Ash was very pleased to hear this.

"Oh thank you Mr. Goodshow." Ash said. "But who will I be working with and where?"

"Unfortunately Ash, because no other Trainers are currently unavailable you're going to have to work with Calem, by helping Professor Sycamore unload some new equipment." And with that Charles Goodshow left.

Ash was shocked. "CALEM!"

Ash then had a flashback to twenty years ago where Calum was chasing him and Serena through the forest between Lumiose and Santalune City.

"Come on guys!" Calem said, riding on his Gogoat.

Ash looked behind him while on Noivern's back and saw Calem's Trevournent reaching for him.

"I just wanna play!" Calem called.

"PIKACHU IRON TAIL!" Ash shouted.

"CHU! PIKA!"

"Oh no!" Ash cried. "I can already smell the trouble starting!"

"Dennene!"

Bonnie's Dedenne then used Spark as a way to get Ash's attention. "Now Ash, I understand that you and Calem have had issues in the past." Bonnie started. "But I really think it's best if you just ignore him and continue on with your work."

"That's a lot harder than it sounds Bonnie." Ash said.

"It might, but I say at least try." Bonnie said. "Trying never hurt anyone."

"De, Dennene."

Then Max started to speak up. "Bonnie's right Ash! If he wants to start something, all you need to do is ignore him and if he doesn't stop, you can just tell Mr. Goodshow and your mother about it."

Ash was nervous about working with Calem, but he plucked up courage and decided he'd work with the devious Trainer.

"Very well." Ash said. "I'll do my best. I hope. Come on Pikachu, we'd better get going." And Ash walked away with Pikachu following him.

As Ash made his way towards Professor Sycamore's Lab in Lumiose City, he kept having bad thoughts about his past with Calem. Like how he and Serena were chased all across the entire Route 4 in Kalos, or like how he was imprisoned in Team Galactic's old base while Calem tried to force Dialga and Palkia to create a new world on the summit of Mount Coronet, or how Calem even stole all the Christmas decorations in Pallet Town.

"I just hope that he doesn't start anything Pikachu." Ash said, to his yellow Mouse Pokémon.

"Pikachu, Pika, Pika, Pi, Pikachu!"

"You're right, buddy." Ash said. "I know I can get through this. Just remember what Bonnie and Max said, just ignore him."

At last Ash and Pikachu had made it to Professor Sycamore's Research Lab, but he had to wait for Calem, he was all the way in Evergrande City in Hoenn and he was now on his way.

Now as you mentioned the word 'love' Ash had his own love, his love was for Leaf as she walked up and stopped right alongside Ash.

"Hello there Ashy!" Leaf smiled. "How are you babe?"

"I'm nervous, Leafy." Ash said.

"Pika."

"Nervous?" Leaf asked worriedly. "Of what Ash? You can tell me anything."

"I'm nervous because I'm supposed to be working with Calem." Ash said.

"How come babe?" Leaf asked. "Is he really that bad?"

Ash then had a flashback of when he and Calem first met in Lumiose City when he met Clement and Bonnie all those years ago. Calem had even threatened to tear off Clement and Bonnie's fingers with his Aegislash.

"Him and I don't get along, and I'm really worried that he's gonna start something again." Ash said, as he remembered how much of a bully Calem was.

"Oh dear!" Leaf said. "Tell you what Ash, if I finish my work with Grant at his gym early, I'll come by and help you out."

Ash smiled as Leaf offered to help.

"Really?" Ash asked. "You'd do that for me babe?"

"Of course Ashy!" Leaf said, with a wink. "What are girlfriends for?"

"Thank you Leafy babe!" Ash beamed. "You're the best of the best!"

And with that, Leaf hopped back on her Rappidash and rode off blowing a kiss to Ash and saying goodbye.

Now Ash felt more confident now that Leaf was coming to help him.

"Now with Leaf beside me, I don't have to be afraid anymore, Pikachu!" Ash smiled at his Starter Pokémon. "She can be able to stand up to that big bully and I don't need to deal with him."

"Pika, Pikachu!"

Ash felt very happy, knowing that Leaf would be by his side.

"Pyroar!"

Suddenly there was a loud roar and a growling noise, there coming from the side of Ash was Calem on his Male Pyroar.

"Hello again Ashy-Boy!" Calem said slyly. "Glad to see you again after so many years."

Ash started feeling even more nervous than he originally did.

"Oh! C-C-C-C-Calem!" Ash stuttered. "You're here!"

Calem just smirked.

"What did you expect me to miss an opportunity to use my Pokémon?" Calem asked with a sinister chuckle. "That wouldn't be me Ashy-Boy! But I advise you to keep away, otherwise you'll have a place in the graveyard!"

Of course Calem was joking, but Ash wasn't sure. Calem's Pyroar then started roaring trying to scare Ash and his little Electric Type Pokémon, but Ash knew better.

"Huh. Let's just get this over with." Ash said, as he walked away to find Professor Sycamore.

Calem who was now thinking devious once more decided to listen to Ash's advice and followed behind him.
