Merry Late Christmas my darlings!

Ahhh I hope everyone had a good weekend! I had foolishly hoped not only to update last week but also to update Christmas day as a present, but alas once again my expectations of myself were much too high ?and instead, I spend a ridiculous amount of time buying last-minute presents, wrapping presents, or driving between locations for the holidays.

I am however super excited to be editing this chapter on my brand new laptop ?~ I can't wait to keep using it during my vacations to hopefully give you a couple of extra chapters!

Thank you so, so much for all the comments and love you've continued to give this story, the holidays always do a number on my routine and I haven't been able to reply to them as I usually do, hoping to catch up tomorrow. I won't keep you from the story any longer! Hope you continue to enjoy ?

Falling Hard

Chapter 4: Zero to a Hundred

Did you survive yesterday?

The blonde had taken the initiative to text the raven that morning. Then tried not to look at his phone every five minutes for the remainder of the day. Maybe he shouldn't have texted knowing he would be working double shifts that day.

Friday of finals, it was literally a dead shift. Typically most finals were done by Thursday, which meant on Friday you either packed to go home if you hadn't left already. Or slept all day long trying to recover so you could go out to party ad drink enough alcohol to possibly forget all the information you'd crammed into your brain the previous two weeks.

Naruto certainly didn't mind the extra money he'd make with the overtime, but the deadly quiet library was ricocheting his anxiety through the roof, and he'd lost count of the number of times he'd flipped his phone over to see if the raven had replied. Only one hour till closing, then what…would he see Sasuke over the break? What if the raven didn't message him back…

He bumped his head on the front desk and let out a soft sigh, it was too soon to be losing his head over whether the raven replied to his text message or not. This was so not going to end well for him.

In an attempt to distract himself, he checked the return boxes again and grabbed the measly six books that had been returned, checked them in, and walked back towards the stacks—Kakashi shameless as he was left early and told him to make sure to key in the lock code by the doors when he left.

He could take a nap on one of the cocoon chairs, he was still ridiculously exhausted from the last couple of weeks and didn't think he'd fully recovered from his last heat, which had been much more intense than usual…he blushed…his omega had been screaming for the one alpha he had wanted to claim and hadn't been kind to him.

His phone buzzed and he could have totally slapped himself for how fast he reached for his back pocket so he could check his phone.

For the love of—he'd literally kept the man away a whole semester, he was better than that.

Still, he clicked on the damn message right away.

I knocked out right after that last final

Could have slept into Saturday

He bit his lip

Why didn't you?

"Because I had pending business with you" The blonde whirled over and there was Sasuke, in black sweatpants and a gray hoodie leaning against the bookshelf–looking quite rugged—still crazy handsome but you could tell he was exhausted.

"Oh wow that final did kick your butt"

"What's that supposed to mean?" the raven asked with a small smile.

"You look like shit"

"Likewise" Naruto gasped in an overly dramatic way "I look great "

Sasuke walked closer, a small smirk on his lips "You are a pretty little thing, even with mean bags under your eyes" He felt his whole face heat.

"You gave me your number," Sasuke said softly, almost still in disbelief, he leaned on the bookshelf right in front of Naruto, his hands in his pockets "What does it mean?" He asked

"It means I'm a fool," The blonde said humorously.

"Can I kiss you?" Sasuke had been thinking about the one kiss they had shared for over a month now, nothing compared to it, and he'd been so close to getting exactly that the day before until Karin made an untimely appearance.

Naruto didn't say no, he didn't say yes either but his eyelashes fluttered, and that beautiful pink blush covered his cheeks as he looked at him and there was an ever so slight nod.

Sasuke took the three steps he needed to take to be right in front of his baby boy, his hands falling gingerly on the blonde's hips—almost as if he was afraid that moving too fast would spook the blonde.

Naruto's back hit the bookshelf Sasuke was flush against him "Baby boy, look at me" the blonde titled his head a bit and sky blue eyes lifted to Sasuke's obsidian only for a second before Sasuke leaned down and his lips were on his and his eyes fluttered closed as he leaned into the kiss.

It was soft at first as if Sasuke was giving him a chance to push him away. When he didn't, the raven licked his lips and he felt like a switch had been turned on inside of him, like all the want and need he'd shoved deep inside just spilled into the surface.

His hands came up to cup the raven's face so he could pull him closer, Sasuke's tongue slipped inside his mouth and the taste of alpha pheromones hit him like an avalanche. He groaned as Sasuke's fingers dug into his hips and his hands finally settled on the back of Sasuke's neck, gripping at the skin there.

They kissed for what felt like hours and seconds all at the same time—the raven licked, and sucked and nipped until he had to pull away for air, pleased with how the blonde followed after his lips, short gaps leaving the now red lips.

Naruto surprised himself when he stepped forward nudging the raven against the bookcase opposite where he'd just been pushed against and connecting their lips again.

Sasuke let out a small laugh "Finally showing your true colors" he muttered "Here" he said as he grabbed the back of Naruto's thighs and lifted the blonde up, Naruto let out another soft laugh as he crossed his legs on the small of Sasuke's back "Don't drop me" He said his face inches apart from the raven.

Sasuke moved his hands to the blonde's ass and swirled his hips, he smirked as he saw the blue eyes flutter closed and a small chocked sound left those beautiful cherry lips...

"Let me help you feel good" The raven muttered as he licked the shell of the blonde's ear then kissed the spot right under his earlobe before sucking on it and instantly groaning, the blockers might stop the smell, but they wouldn't get rid of the taste.

Naruto was lost as he threw his head back giving the raven more access at the same time he started swirling his own hips meeting Sasuke's own movements the motion caused their hard-ons to rub together. Having the blonde move against him made the raven stutter in his movements a bit as he growled and mouthed the tan neck, his teeth barely scraping the skin, teasing.

"Ah- Sas—" Sasuke settled himself on the floor against the bookshelf, the blondes leg's on either side of his, the new position allowed the blonde to move more fluidly against him. Naruto's head fell on his shoulder as his hips kept swirling increasing the tempo of their movements and desperately thinking about how badly he wanted their clothes to be off, how he wanted to feel Sasuke on him , in him.

He could smell the raven's arousal, he could smell thunder and rain, Sasuke licked a path down his neck again and he growled against the fabric of Sasuke's hoody as he sat back breathless, his hands reached for the hem of the raven's sweater as he pulled it up.

Sasuke raised his arms and let out a small laugh as the blonde pulled the sweater off, the laugh died on his lips though as Naruto leaned back in and latched on to his neck sucking.

" Fuck" They both let out at the same time as their hips stuttered in their movements and both of them spilled into their pants the blonde still sucking on the pale neck hard enough to leave a purple bruise. Sasuke's hands had long slipped under Naruto's top and were digging into his hips hard enough to leave bruises of their own. Sasuke buried his face in Naruto's neck and growled at the lack of smell, his teeth biting softly and his tongue lapping at the skin as they rode their orgasm.

Sasuke needed to smell him, he needed more, he needed to taste him, he needed to know if Naruto wanted him . No…he didn't want Naruto to just want him, he needed him to need him. One of his hands slipped to the back of the blonde's pants and slipped in, his finger easily sliding into the blonde's cheeks, and he snapped, he snapped as he reached the puckered hole and felt the wet slick around it.

He could take him, he could take him now.

"Sas–wait" The blonde let out a breathless gasp, but even though he'd asked him to wait his hips swirled again and pushed against the finger that was barely pushing inside the slicked entrance.

Then a phone rang and both of them snapped out of it, Sasuke managed to take his hands away from the blonde. Naruto stilled on top of him still a little dazed gasping a little and trying to regain his breath.

"I'm sorry" The raven let out softly as one of his hands ran through his dark air, and fisting the hand that had Naruto's slick on his side, fighting against the need to bring it up to his nose, his lips "I—Sorry—I didn't mean" What was wrong with him, it's like he was back in high school when he just presented like he had no fucking control over himself.

The blonde who was red as a tomato and very much aware of not only the cum but the slick in his pants moved off the raven and took his phone out of his pocket turning off the alarm that was letting him know it was time to close up.

"It's not that I don't want to, it's just— the library floor isn't…" Naruto didn't want the first time they did it to be…

The raven let out a breath, fuck, yeah—like he hadn't already realized that Naruto wasn't the type to just have a quickie against a bookshelf, at the very least not for their first time…maybe later if Sasuke could show him it was worth it.

"I know baby boy, I'm sorry I got carried away" The blonde looked at the floor biting his lip—they both had gotten carried away this wasn't only on Sasuke and he…he did want more.

"My shift's over," he said softly, not sure what he wanted the raven to say in response...except he did, he knew exactly what he wanted to hear.

"My roommate is gone for the break" Sasuke's palm fell on the blonde's cheek, nudging him to look at him "Come back with me? We'll only do what you want to do, promise"

It wasn't smart. It really wasn't, none of what he'd done had been smart, giving the raven his number, telling him he could kiss him, or nodding his head yes at Sasuke and agreeing to go back to his place.

He just couldn't fight it anymore, he couldn't keep saying no when every part of his body was screaming 'yes'. He needed to let things play out and fall into place, if he wasn't the one for Sasauke it would hurt–a lot, but at least he'd know and he'd be able to move on.

He'd turned away prospects this semester because every time someone asked him out the raven was his first thought. Even though Sasuke was still seeing others, even though they technically weren't anything, that's just the type of person he was, when he liked someone, even if they didn't like him back, he sort of committed even if it made no sense.

He needed to face the music so that if things ended badly he could hurt and move on.

The ride to the raven's place was quiet, Sasuke figured his baby boy was nervous, still, when they walked into the apartment as the door clicked shut behind them he turned over to the blonde.

The place smelled like Sasuke, Naruto closed his eyes and took in the smell wishing he could find a candle that smelled just like it so he could surround himself with it at his apartment as well.

"Hey—you ok?" The raven asked

"Yeah, it's just we went from zero to a hundred and I'm a little—and I just realized this was a terrible idea because I so need a change of clothes" The blonde finished as the blush Sasuke had come to love so much settled on his face.

The raven laughed softly as he stepped up to the blonde giving him a quick kiss "Me too, there are two baths, you can use mine, and I can lend you something to wear"

"I can use the spare, I don't want to kick you out of your own bathroom," The blonde said as he scratched the back of his head. Sasuke stopped the growl that raised to his throat— no, that was Juugo's, and if his baby boy was going to shower it would be in his bathroom.

"It's ok baby boy, here" The raven grabbed the blonde's hand and led him over to his bathroom "get in I'll be back and place some clothes by the sink for you"

"No peeking," The blonde said and that got a smile out of the raven "You're about to be sprawled on my bed, I'd rather be surprised" The raven replied playfully.

"Oh my—get out!" he said as he blushed and pushed the raven out of the bathroom, closing the door but not locking it so he could come back and drop off the clothes he'd promised.

The raven tried to keep a level head on himself, he checked his room and made sure there were no condoms on the trash can or empty foils anywhere. Finals had kept him plenty busy so he hadn't had the time to bring anyone back. Quite honestly it was only Karin that only ever made it to his room, anyhow. He'd rather the people he fucked with didn't know where he lived, he'd ended up with a couple of stalkers in the past.

He let out a breath as he confirmed his room smelled purely of him, he'd washed his sheets that week so he didn't need to worry about that. He found some pants for the blonde, and a t-shirt, smirking to himself as he bypassed the underwear on purpose, the idea of his baby boy going commando around his apartment filling him with desire.

He knocked on the door before he opened it "Ok princess, leaving your clothes on the sink counter now" He said playfully.

"Can we stop it with the princess?"

The raven smiled as he could finally, finally, fully smell his baby boy gain "I know you like it" he let out smugly.

"Ugh–get out!" The blonde let out, embarrassed as it also dawned on him that by getting in the shower he'd basically given the raven an all-access card to his feelings. The raven laughed and rushed to take his own shower.

Sasuke had to get himself off twice in the shower to get himself under control, he'd been too close to letting his alpha overwhelm him earlier. He'd meant it, he didn't want to do anything Naru didn't want. For him to enjoy it, his baby boy had to want it just as much.

When stepped out he poked his head into his room and found the blonde walking by the desk in his room looking at the only picture of Sasuke and his family. It was Sasuke's high school graduation. He hated that picture.

The raven closed his eyes for a second, willing himself not to think about his family and to just take in Naru's sweet smell "Baby boy" He let out softly and the blonde turned around.

"Hey—sorry I didn't know what to do while I waited didn't mean to snoop" The raven's eyes fell on the low handing pants obviously too big for the blonde and the oversized t-shirt and that's all he needed not to think about his family anymore.

"You look good in my clothes," he said with a smile as he pulled the blonde close.

"I look homeless in your clothes," Naruto said as he scrunched his nose a little, and Sasuke couldn't help but lean down and place a small kiss on the blonde's nose "I disagree" He muttered as he kissed the blonde, seamlessly moving them by the bed, and letting Naruto settle on top of his lap.

Sasuke kissed the blonde, slowly, enjoying himself, and almost humming as he was finally able to taste and smell his baby boy at the same time. When he was about to lift his shirt off the blonde he stopped as he noticed a barely there tremble, he wasn't sure if it was from desire or….so he stopped and pulled back a bit, so he could center his eyes on the blonde.

"Sorry—I don't know why—back in the library we—I think nervous" Naruto let out, choosing to be honest. He'd also felt the mood change a bit earlier when the raven had walked in on him looking at the pictures on his desk and he was just—today had been a little too much for him.

"Hey—it's ok, can we just, can I just keep kissing you?" He asked and the blonde thought his heart would beat out of his chest as he nodded. The raven kissed him thoroughly, licking his lips and swiping inside his mouth their tongues dancing before he rearranged them again so they both were lying down and facing each other.

Eventually, they broke the kiss "You're exhausted aren't you?" The raven asked, he could smell how tired Naru was as if at this point he was just trying to stay awake so they could keep kissing.

"So are you" the blonde whispered back.

"Come here," the raven said as he turned blonde and pulled him, his back to his chest, and that cute little butt he wanted so badly to his crotch his cheek right next to Naru's as he buried his face on the blondes neck and inhaled sunshine and oranges.

"Sasuke?" the blonde asked softly, basking as the raven's smell surrounded him like a blanket, and all too aware of the raven's arm resting around his waist and his length on his ass.

"I told you we didn't have to do anything you didn't want, I don't think you're in the mood anymore" Naruto blushed, it wasn't that…it was just…was there even a 'right' way of doing this with the raven?

"It's not—it's just earlier when you walked in, I felt something shift, I think I might have done something to upset you"

Sasuke stilled a bit "It's not—It wasn't you"

"Do you not get along with them?" Of course, his baby boy was as perceptive as ever, he knew exactly what had upset him.

"We have a complicated relationship" The blonde let out a laugh and the raven raised an eyebrow as the blonde devolved into a bit of a laughing fit.

"Sorry, sorry, it's just I could see every single person you're currently involved with describing their relationship to you as complicated, but the one relationship you consider complicated is the one with your family" The raven let the words sink in and let out a laugh of his own.

"How's your relationship with your family?" He asked letting his cheek fall against the blonde again and trying to match his breathing to the Naru's, he didn't know why he felt so relaxed all of a sudden when usually he'd be ten times more guarded with the subject of his family.

"It's just my parents and me"

"Siblings are overrated," The raven said with a bitterness Naruto had never heard in his voice, whenever Sasuke talked around him his voice was either playful, light, or full of desire…he wanted to shift in the raven's arms, to turn around and look at him.

But he had a feeling Sasuke wasn't usually this…vulnerable or open to talking about this subject if the waves of anger and frustration that had hit him momentarily were anything to go by.

"Do you ever talk about it with anyone?" He let out softly and was met with silence for a long minute before the raven's voice rang again.

"Have you ever felt like you'll never be or do enough?"

"I don't think so, I've felt insecure, sometimes I wonder if I'm doing enough if I should have aimed higher…you know my parents they had me when they were really young, I was sort of an accident" he let out a small laugh "Both of them went from one minimum wage job to the other to be able to well, provide, I knew I had to work extra hard to get scholarships to even come here, sometimes I think I should have picked law, medicine, engineering, anything that would allow me to provide for them the way they have provided for me"

The raven's arms tightened around him "My family has a law firm, I had no say on whether I wanted to be a lawyer or not and my brother he's just—so good, at everything always better, always the best, it's like whenever I'm about to reach the bar it gets raised again and it's so exhausting"

Naruto finally gave in turning in the raven's arms and looking him in the eyes pushing as much comfort as he could onto him.

"I admire you, don't know where you get the time to fuck around so much and still be on the dean's list, bet your brother didn't best you at that," he said with a small smile, and the raven couldn't help but laugh.

"In bed with a stalker, how do you know I made the dean's list?"

"It's published annually in the school's newsletter—have you forgotten where I work?" The blonde smirked at him "Plus—I also made the dean's list last year" he winked.

"A scholarly stalker—I love it," The raven said and the blonde giggled. Sasuke leaned in and kissed the blonde lazily, enjoying how his body fit against his own. Neither of them knew when they stopped kissing and fell asleep.

Spoiler alert we'll pretty much keep the zero to a hundred speed from here on out ? if you've read my work before you should give me props this is the longest I've ever gone keeping it at like a three-pepper spicy level lol.

If all my dreams come true I'll truly be able to set into vacation mode now and this new keyboard will be put to good use so we can add some gasoline to this story ?
