Chapter 5: Does it Need a Label?
Naruto opened his eyes feeling a little disoriented at first, then he had to close them again as he realized he was blanketed in Sasuke's rainy smell, in Sasuke's arms. He was somehow sure that Sasuke would find a way to have sex with him, but instead…the raven was so different from what he thought he would be.
He seemed so much more complex all of a sudden…he'd felt the pain from him, pain Sasuke probably wanted to keep hidden away…but he hadn't pushed him away, he'd talked to him instead, he could feel every single emotion: pain, disappointment, disillusionment, anger—barely but he could feel them before they'd been pushed down.
He wanted to get rid of it all, it made him want to drown the raven in acceptance and love. His eyes traveled over Sasuke's handsome face, the chiseled cheeks, and long dark lashes, then he blushed as his eyes fell on the purple bruise he'd left on his neck.
Had Sasuke really not pushed for more out of respect or did the raven not want him as badly anymore, was he not enough to make him lose control? What was he even thinking? He should be happy Sasuke respected him, isn't that why he'd drawn a line in the first place because he wanted to be different from the others?
He felt pressure build on his chest, desire coil in his belly and suddenly he felt like he couldn't get enough air.
Maybe he'd pushed the raven away for too long, maybe Sasuke was talking to him and not devouring him because their relationship had evolved and Naruto wasn't…maybe he was just a friend now…

Obviously, he wasn't thinking straight, he was probably high on the raven's pheromones as he leaned up and lapped at the mark he'd left earlier that day. "Says the one that didn't answer," Sasuke said playfully and Naruto laughed softly before he leaned up, his lips crashing against the ravens and his hands making quick work of lifting his shirt off, the motion breaking the kiss "I do," he said a little breathless as he looked at the raven "I do want you"
" Fuck" Sasuke muttered reclaiming Naruto's lips his hand traveled down his baby boy's chest, then his belly, smirking as he felt the skin tremble under his fingers "You sure?" he asked his hands hovering right over the waistband of his pants. The blonde nodded at him and his hand easily slipped under the loose pants, he completely bypassed Naruto's erection and his fingers soon found that tight little hole, he groaned as he noticed the sticky substance making it's way out.
Naruto's hips stuttered a bit as he let out a groan and he threw his forearm over his face trying to hide his reaction from the raven.
"Oh no you don't—It's bad enough that it's dim in here—I need to see you," he said darkly as his hand grabbed the tanned wrists and pinned them above the blonde's head.
Naruto blushed deeper and squirmed stirring the raven's alpha "it's embarrassing" he said softly, usually not only where the lights dimmed but most of the action with his previous partners had happened under the blankets. Nothing was covering them and he felt so exposed.
"Leave them here" The raven muttered as he leaned back, his eyes trailing over the moonlit skin, he hooked his fingers over the waistband of the loose pants and started pulling them down as he stared into blue eyes "You have nothing to be embarrassed about princess" he finished pulling the sweatpants down and ran his hands over the available skin "How can anyone be in bed with you and not want to stare"
Sasuke was barely touching him, grazing his fingers on all the available skin, purposely bypassing his straining erection each time reducing him to a shivering gasping mess.
"Stop it" he let out softly as he squeezed his palms into fists above his head, the raven smirked down at him "Make me" Naruto actually rolled his eyes as he smiled up at the raven, reaching out and treading his fingers through dark locks as he pulled the raven down for a kiss, he groaned as he felt the fabric of Sasuke's pants against his sensitive flesh "Off" He muttered into the kiss his hands pushing at the fabric.
The raven chuckled "yes your highness" he mumbled as he bit the blonde's lower lip and sucked on it before he pulled back so he could take off the remainder of his clothes. Once undressed he sat back and his hands fell on the blonde's tan thighs kneading the skin as he pulled them apart while looking at the blonde for permission.
"Can I?" there was a small nod as Naruto's hands fell back on his face, Sasuke was going to have to do something about his baby boy feeling so self-conscious, he had no reason to feel embarrassed—he was absolutely stunning.

He looked sideways and stirred as his eyes caught the glassy eyes and swollen lips.

First, he didn't even register Sasuke almost went in bare, then he felt disappointed that the raven grabbed the condom, and to top it off he was seconds away from getting knotted, he had better self-control, who even was he when he was with Sasuke?
"Were you going to…?"

The raven pushed him back into the bed "Stay, I got you" He said softly as he slipped off the bed and soon enough he was walking back into the room with a damp washcloth.
Naruto tried to reach for it but his hand got swatted away as Sasuke went about helping him wipe the excess slick off, not one bit bothered by the action. Naruto sat back and reached over for the oversized t-shirt slipping it on and biting his lip…what now? Would Sasuke want him to go? What time was it? How long had they slept before he lost his mind and technically seduced the raven?
Sasuke set the washcloth on the nightstand and slipped his pants on, his eyes falling on the adorable blonde, looking confused, thoroughly fucked, and absolutely adorable in his shirt, usually…usually this is when people took their leave, but earlier he'd fallen asleep so seamlessly he wasn't ready to say goodbye to the blonde.
"This is a little awkward" his eyes lifted to the blonde "We didn't really talk about what happens after…about anything really"

"Were you waiting for me to leave just now?" The blonde asked softly.
"No Naru, I—" Want to cuddle you until I fall asleep— "I was just looking at you baby boy, you should really let me take a picture, don't think I can commit it all to memory" He offered instead with a playful tone, hoping to ease Naruto's sudden panic.
The blonde let out a halfhearted chuckle "As if I'd let you take a picture"
"Why not?" The raven asked rubbing his hand over the blonde's arm in soothing motions.
"You want to keep seeing me like this you'll have to invite me in person, why would I make it easy for you to—" He stopped, what was he even doing?
"For me to what?"

Naruto thought for a second before he took a breath. No, he didn't get to push this on the raven he was the one who said yes. He made the choice to cross the line, and ultimately he came on to Sasuke and begged him to take him like he had no damn self-control.
He moved off the raven running his hand through his hair and looking for the pants Sasuke had thrown across the room "I should go home—this was a mistake"
Sasuke panicked "Naru—just wait a second, take a breath" He'd waited so long, up until Naruto relented and gave him his phone, he had started to think that all this would ever be was playful banter and flirting. He couldn't just go back to not touching him.
"Sasuke—I—what even is this? Do you want to date me?" he was met with silence and a myriad of emotions from the raven.
"I don't date…I've never, why does it need to have a label?" he asked in exchange.
"Why don't you date?" Sasuke looked down at the floor like it was fascinating.
The blonde stood waiting for an answer. Was it really all about the sex? Then he didn't need him, he could have sex with anyone, but…why wouldn't someone like Sasuke want someone just for himself, wasn't it also alpha instinct to be overprotective of their partners? To want someone to claim as their own? Naruto thought back to the previous months, the way Sasuke paid attention to detail, the way he adjusted to make the blonde comfortable around him, the way he spoke to him, looked at him ...to Naruto it looked like he could give so much more, Sasuke could be an amazing partner...
But why should he try and lay down alpha rules on the raven when he himself was so hell-bent on being different? Still...he just couldn't push away the thought that…there was no way Sasuke got the comfort he needed just from purely fucking…
"I just don't," Sasuke said quietly at last. His hand still tightly squeezing Naruto's "Can't we just hang out? Can't we just be? It as good wasn't it?" he muttered softly.
It was. That was the problem it was fantastic, mindblowing, it was addicting . He was ready to jump back on that bed so Sasuke could take him all over again. "Is there anyone else? Someone you'd like to be exclusive with?" Sasuke asked and the words somehow felt like acid on their way out.
"No, but that's not the issue here" The issue was Karin, the issue was every other omega the raven had fucked—could continue to fuck.

"We'll try it over winter break," He said softly, before he took a step back to look properly at the raven "I don't want you to just fuck me and kick me out, don't call me into your room if it'll smell like someone else, don't try touching me if me if you smell like someone else, and just because I'm willing right now that doesn't entitle you to have me whenever you want" The raven raised an eyebrow at the blonde, for someone that had no experience he was damn quick at coming up with his terms and conditions—He smiled, his thumb running over the blondes still swollen lips "Anything you ask for—I promise, everything is on your terms baby boy"
The blonde blushed lightly, as the raven circled his waist and pulled him close "Now that we've talked about it, can we go back to bed?"
Naruto was up before Sasuke—again, he felt the blood rush to his face as he sat up and felt the soreness in his lower back.
He dropped his face in his hands, he couldn't take it back, he didn't want to, he wanted to keep having sex with the raven, talking to him, he wanted to...own those dark eyes...He wasn't dating, he didn't like anyone else…and the sex was amazing, he could handle this, at least he'd like to try...there were two possible outcomes, either it morphed exactly into what he wanted, or his feelings would force him out of the agreement eventually.
Why wait until someone else tried showing him how serious they were only to end up cheating, only to end up moving on to the next (more willing) omega or beta, gatekeeping himself had gotten him just as much heartbreak. At least, if Sasuke was true to his word in this agreement he was in charge, he had the last word, and he wouldn't be lied to.
He got off the bed trying to make his way to the restroom and stopped dead in his tracks as he spotted himself in the full body mirror, his neck, and chest were littered with hickies. He turned grabbing one of the pillows that had fallen on the floor and throwing it at the raven.
"Sasuke!" Said raven opening his eyes, groaning as the pillow hit him, and sitting up on the bed still half asleep. The sleep left him soon enough, his eyes trailing the blonde's flustered expression and falling on the purple little bruises on the tan neck.
"What did you do ?" The blonde asked pointing at his neck, he smirked reaching over and pulling him back onto the bed.
"Why are you upset? You were gasping so prettily and asking for more when I put them there baby boy"
It's like a fuse went out inside his brain and he sputtered nonsense.
"You can't just—you left so many "
"Mmmm only because I didn't get to ask if biting was ok"
Another fuse. As he blinked stupidly at the raven.
"Wouldn't you like that? For me to bite down as I pou—" The blonde slapped his hand on the raven's lips, looking down and wondering when the hell Sasuke had rearranged him over his lap and noticing his morning wood pressing against his front.
" Again?" he asked kind of amazed at his own rising desire, and truthfully...happy that Sasuke couldn't keep his hands off him.
"As many times as you'd let me"
His stomach growled as he placed a hand on the raven's chest pushing back a bit "How about you feed me first, I'm starving"
Sasuke hummed as he nosed the blonde's hair "Hmm you craving anything?"
Thirty minutes later they were sitting in the living room eating breakfast burritos, Sasuke was looking amused as the blonde swallowed two burritos in record time.
"Do you eat like that all the time?" He asked as he took a sip from his coffee.
"I'm sorry, are you shaming me?" Naruto raised an eyebrow at him as he took another bite.
"I'm just asking"
"I had no dinner ok? Someone jumped me at work"
"You wanna talk about jumping, what was it that you did in the middle of the night huh?"
The blonde was red in seconds "You weren't complaining last night"
"And I'm not complaining now, just saying we both played a part in your unintentional fasting," He said with that insufferable smirk of his, he laughed softly as his eyes fell back on the TV, a random comedy playing.
They both fell into a comfortable silence, Naruto was surprised, he thought it would be more awkward or that he would feel the need to fill the silence, once the food was gone and the coffee emptied, his head fell on the raven's lap and Sasuke's fingers ran through his hair like it was the most natural thing in the world.
He closed his eyes and hummed "You purring princess?" The raven's voice cut through.
"Humming," He said with a small smile of his own.
Sasuke opened his mouth but Naruto's phone started ringing on the coffee table he moved from his lap to reach for the device. Crossing his legs as he picked the call up.
"Hey—"
"Naru darling, where did you spend the night?" His mouth was left open for a few seconds and Sasuke perked up at the little wave of pheromones that hit him as the blonde remembered exactly where he'd spent the night and what he'd been doing.
"What do you mean?" He asked playing dumb.
A small gasp "You really going to try and play it off? Like you could get off without telling me everything"
"Ino, how would you even know I didn't go home"
"Oh sweetheart, I went clubbing last night, after you turned me down because you'd be 'exhausted from working two shifts' and the environment wasn't it, but I did drink a little too much and had no option but to crash at your place—which I found empty, and guess what? I woke up hungover ready for you to make me some breakfast and you still weren't here"
The blonde rubbed his face with his free hand.
"You broke in"
"It's not breaking in if you have a key"
"It's supposed to be for emergencies"
The raven sat across from him catching words here and there, and chastising himself for wanting to growl when he caught on to the fact that this Ino had keys to the blonde's apartment—he really shouldn't care.
"Stop changing the subject!"
"Did you finally get laid?-Oh fuck, wait a minute Naru did you actually sleep with him?" the blonde's eyes fell on the raven as he bit his lip.
"I'll talk to you later—don't finish all my food"
"Don't you dare hang up on me—was it a good la—" The blonde hung up on his friend and fiddled with the phone on his lap.
"Did you catch any of that?" He muttered embarrassed.
"Some" The raven let out "That your friend from the club? The other blonde?"
"Uh–yeah how do you…"
"I remember her, she's alpha, isn't she? Just crashing at your place?" He tried his hardest to sound easygoing but he was just confused, at why he was feeling so angry, if the blonde just casually slept with others why would he make a big deal about sleeping with him?
And if he didn't casually sleep with others how could he trust this alpha so much as to give her a key to his house when he smelled so fucking good.
"I've known Ino since freshman year, I trust her like that" Was Naruto's simple answer "You telling me no one has a key to this apartment?" He asked
Karin did…but that didn't count, he hadn't given it to her Juugo had, they were childhood friends and their apartment was closer to campus, she sometimes crashed there or stopped by to nap—well, she did start using the key more to just walk in and ask Sasuke if he wanted to fuck halfway through their freshmen year.
He opened his mouth to say no then stopped "Karin does, but I didn't give it to her Juugo did"
Karin, that was the girl with the strawberry smell right? Naruto felt goosebumps run down his arms at how uncomfortable the idea of the redhead having a key and being able to slide into the raven's bed at any time made him. No wonder Sasuke always ended up smelling like her.
"You three are close"
The raven shrugged "There's a fourth, Suigetsu but the baseball team made nationals this year and ended up traveling during finals so he wasn't at the library"
"All four of you doing law?"

"What's your friend studying?"
"Entrepreneurship–she's going to be one demanding boss" He smiled fondly "You've met Hinata," He said and then regretted bringing her up instantly, two of the women that had been brought up in this conversation had already slept with the raven "She's doing Secondary Ed"
Sasuke reached out pulling the blonde onto his lap "You said you were doing Marketing right, don't you have similar classes to Ino?"
"Yes and no, I'm two different emphases in business really, and I'm also minoring in English that's a completely different set of classes" he turned over so he could look up at the raven "Do you enjoy it?"
"Law?" Sasuke asked and the blonde nodded "I suppose I'm good at it"
"That's not what I asked," Naruto said softly
"It's not what I wanted at first but I think I'll be really good at it—maybe I'll go work for a competing firm" He finished with a smirk, his dad would have an aneurysm.
Naruto laughed amused "How much older is your brother?"
"Are you going home for the holidays?" The raven asked changing the subject and the blonde dropped it. Sasuke very obviously did not want to talk about this brother.
"No, check this out mom and dad are going on a cruise through the Mediterranean" he giggled "They're so cheesy," he said with an infectious smile.
"What? no invite for you?"
"Like I'd want to be around to smell all those pheromones," he said with a small shudder "Plus I think it's high time they start enjoying themselves"
"How about you, are you local? Going anywhere for the holidays?"
"My family lives in town, but I'll avoid going home if possible, usually I'd bring Juugo or Suigetsu with me to keep me from losing my mind but they're both out of town so I'll see if I can get away with just not going "
Naruto cringed a bit resisting the urge to ask 'don't you miss your parents?' he missed his mom and dad all the time…
His phone buzzed.
I'm not leaving your apartment until you come back
Note I still have to pack to go home
So chop chop
Stop getting dick and come tell me all about it instead
"Oh my god I—" He flipped the phone over but it was too late Sasuke had already read the trail of messages and was laughing right by his ear, his low laugh sending shivers down his body.
"Bossy"
"I told you" the blonde replied
"I should go say hi before she leaves" The raven made a noise that Naruto took for agreement on the back of his throat, and he slid off the couch and walked over to the door slipping his shoes on and grabbing his backpack. Sasuke stood patiently while he threw on his discarded sweater over the t-shirt he'd lent him.
"I'll uh–promise to return your clothes," He said
"I'll hold you to that" a small hue of pink settled on the blonde's cheeks.
The raven stopped Naruto from fully exiting the apartment as his hand gripped his wrist pulling him close and landing his lips on Naruto's sucking on his bottom lip softly and licking the blonde's lips before he pulled back.
"What are your plans for the rest of the break?" he asked.
"Probably becoming a licensed couch potato and getting caught up on my ever-growing list of shows to watch"
"Sounds like something we could do together—if you'd like" The words made the blonde feel like liquid warmth.
"I would like that"
"I'll call you," Sasuke said with a smile as he leaned down and kissed him one last time he walked back with a goofy smile and waved him goodbye.
Happy New Year indeed (or New Year's Eve) ahhhhh gosh, I was going nuts with all the teasing between these two! I did warn you we'd keep it at a hundred from here on out ? training wheels are off~ I am like shaking in my chair because I think you're all going to lose your mind at what comes next~
