Happy Update Day

Hi, my darlings! Let me start by saying that getting myself to sit down and work on this chapter was like pulling teeth for no reason whatsoever. there was very little writing/editing last week and a whole lot of wishing I had sat my ass down and made some headway because I've been editing the final draft of this chapter for three days now. One way or another I was never quite satisfied with the final product and here we are on a Monday night with crippling cramps, among other chaotic happening but I finally came up with an edit I'm happy with!

Falling Hard

Chapter 14: Fated

He didn't expect to be so excited to go out, usually, Ino had to drag him out, and yes he always ended up having fun, but it was a completely different feeling to walk around with Sasuke's arm around his waist.

He was happy Karin had a mind to chill on the opposite side of the bonfire with half of Sasuke's friends and some of her girlfriends. He could feel the stares—it made the hairs on the back of his neck stand, but he shook the feeling, he was there with Sasuke and they were going to have fun.

So he stopped looking at other people and centered on his friends, letting Ino and T talk him into dancing with them, laughing as Sasuke pulled him back after a couple of songs, hugging him tight from behind "You gonna dance with me like that or just with the girls?"

"What are you an octopus?" Ino asked walking up to the pair and trying to pull the blonde back towards her "Go talk to your roommate who claims he hasn't seen your ass in two weeks—he's absolutely dejected" Sasuke's arms instinctively tightened around him at first and Naru held back a laugh, even though he wasn't looking at Sasuke's face he knew the raven was rolling his eyes at Ino. Still, he loosened his grasp on him, and let the taller blonde drag him off to where Ten, Lee, and Konan were dancing. The raven squeezed his hand right before he was out of his grasp.

"Alright big boy, he'll only be a few feet away" Ino hollered back taking in the slight intensity in Sasuke's eyes.

He'd look over to Sasuke between songs, catching the slight smile that settled on his lips as his friends howled at him, making fun of his newly taken status. But the way Sasuke's eyes lifted and found his as his friends were trying to embarrass him made him feel like he'd swallowed a boxful of butterflies.

He stilled a bit as the boys dragged Sasuke over to where the other half of their group had been hanging out with Karin. He took a breath and a sip from his drink—he didn't need to be concerned, Sasuke and Karin had barely been on speaking terms.

He'd felt guilty at how pleased he'd been when he saw the rift grow between the pair…he'd been happy then ashamed, knowing that even though Sasuke claimed he'd never seen himself in a relationship with the redhead they were close friends. Karin had been part of Sasuke's inner circle… just as Hinata had been part of his and Ino's…If she hadn't decided to completely stop talking to him he wouldn't have wanted to chase her away from hanging out with their friends. Even though he had a lot of mixed feelings, he often found himself missing the friend he'd come to know and grew sad at the realization that at this point his friendship with Nata most likely couldn't be fixed.

Ino got a phone call and gave him a look that told him she'd be right back, he tried getting into T's and Lee's conversation but felt like fish out of water as they talked theory of sports medicine. So he diverted his attention back to Sasuke's group, it looked like Suigetsu was now having a heated argument with Karin and whatever was being said seemed to have Hidan in a fit of laughter. A bet, he thought, because Suigetsu looked sour as he grabbed the can of beer that was offered to him poking a hole in its side and chugging the contents.

He was trying to build the confidence to walk over, he knew people would have something to say about him walking up to Sasuke while Karin was there. That he was jealous, possessive, insecure…overbearing. He held in the urge to sigh and tipped his drink back again, no matter what he did, the rumor mill would pick up on it and bend it over and backward, people always made their own narrative.

"Boy just go join him, you can do that now," T said holding in a laugh, and he blushed looking down at his plastic cup. He just needed to do what he wanted to do, and he wanted to be with Sasuke. He shook his shoulders a bit and nodded to himself.

Ten Ten chuckled "You ain't going to war you know"

"I can walk you over if you want" Lee added and he frowned "I can walk across the bonfire just fine" He grumbled as he turned and started making his way over.

"I can see what's happening" Ten hollered after him

"What?" Lee asked loudly

"And they don't have a clue"

"Who?"

"They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line, our trio's down to two!" T continued dramatically before she jumped straight to "Disaster in the air!"

"Can you feel the love tonight?" they both started signing off key and he couldn't help but burst into laughter turning around and flipping the pair of comedians off.

His friends burst into laughter "How many times have you both seen The Lion King?!" He hollered back, but then cussed as he tripped bumping against someone "Shit, sorry!" He said quickly turning around.

He stilled a bit as he caught sight of the brunette. Kiba Inuzuka, designated heartthrob for the science department. He instantly felt hyperaware that Hinata had been talking to Kiba. He didn't know much about their relationship since they had already become sort of estranged after Hinata spotted him and Sasuke at the club that first time. But he knew they were involved one way or another.

Kiba's eyes widened recognizing the blonde "Sorry" He repeated trying to step to the side and around the brunette, but Kiba reached out grabbing his wrist "What's the rush?" He asked "Least you could do is finish your drink with me" He offered with a playful smile.

He let out a nervous laugh "I'm sure you were looking for your friends or something" His free hand instinctively came up to rub his neck and brown eyes trailed the lovebites Sasuke had left littered about.

"So how serious is your relationship with the most sought-after Alpha on school grounds?" He caught the added sarcasm towards the end, and suddenly he could feel goosebumps travel down his skin, realizing that despite Kiba's easygoing posture he was actually angry, his intentions in sparking this conversation were not good.

He locked eyes with the brunette "Maybe you've had one too many of those" he said pointing at the beer Kiba was holding "Because that's a bold question to ask someone you've never met" He grit out fighting the need to shrink before the upset alpha.

He hoped the comment would throw the alpha off, or at the very least make him feel aware that he was most definitely trying to use his alpha pheromones to get him to yield. He tried to walk again, wanting the conversation to be over but Kiba took another step towards him and he could feel his breath on his "What's so special about him really? I'd really like to be enlightened—or are you the one that's special?" He asked his fingers tilting the blonde's chin slightly.

Naruto refused to step back, he wasn't about to give the alpha what he wanted, so he hissed at the brunette instead "Step back"

Then Kiba was gone, stumbling back, and he caught Sasuke's scent before his eyes centered on the raven's back, growing even tenser as Sasuke let out a deep warning growl "A little close, weren't you Inuzuka?"

As if Sasuke's heavy threatening alpha pheromones weren't enough the moment Kiba's own clashed against Sasuke's Naruto felt like someone had thrown a pack of sandbags on top of him. He could barely breathe for a few seconds, freezing in place.

"It's not as fun when it's your Omega getting hit on, huh?" Kiba grit out, his own eyes flashing red.

"I'm the wrong person to pick this fight with," Sasuke said voice dark "I wasn't the one seeking her out, so if there's someone you should be confronting it's her, but if you're going to drag Naruto into this then be my guest, we can settle this right now"

"Kiba" another brunette his hair in a ponytail nudged the alpha back, Naruto recognized him, his name was Shikamaru, beta—he was friends with Ino.

"C'mon man let it go" Shikamaru nudged again tugging on the brunette's wrist slowly his eyes settled on Sasuke weighing his reaction. The seconds stretched out forever before Kiba finally slowly turned to walk away but he seemed to change his mind last minute, turning back to look Sasuke in the eye.

"I hope your omega bitch opens his legs for someone else so you know exactly how it fucking feels"

And all hell broke loose, the words had barely left Kiba's mouth and Sasuke's fist was already connecting with his face. He could feel Sasuke's anger, he could feel his own, Kiba had never even talked to him, where did he even get off? And then at the same time, the realization that his alpha could be in danger was crippling.

"Sasuke!" The blonde made to move to try and pull the raven off Kiba but Konan and T pulled him back "Naru! You know you can't cut in like that"

He looked over to see Kiba land a punch on Sasuke's ribs and the brunette might as well be hitting him "I know how to fight" he let out cursing as the girl's grip on him tightened. Both men growled and hissed as they rolled on the ground, Sasuke landing on top of Kiba, holding the brunette down and bringing his fist down on his face.

He slipped off the girl's grasp only to be dragged back around but this time he turned over and Ino's icy eyes stilled him in place "Stay put" she commanded "If you jump in there and get hurt Sasuke's going to go feral"

He was slightly upset she went as far as to command him but he stilled nonetheless.

Juugo stepped up and pulled the raven off Kiba and Shikamaru dragged Kiba up and held him in place, as he trashed, growling "Let go!"

"That's enough man–you'll end up turning this whole party into a brawl"

Juugo was doing the same, trying to catch the raven's eyes so he could reason with him "Sasuke" another growl from the raven "Sas that's enough"

Kiba's nose was bleeding and the right side of his face was quickly swelling "You need to take Naruto home" Juugo tried, and the raven stilled at the blonde's name. Both groups of friends tensely faced off waiting to see if this would escalate.

Another guy with a bigger build joined Shikamaru and helped drag Kiba further back into the crowd trying to calm him down and de-escalate the situation; Sasuke turned over to the blonde. His lip was bloody and dirt smudged on his face and clothes. He shook Juugo's hands off him still on edge "I got it"

"Are you hur—" He didn't get to finish the phrase as the raven walked up to him and pulled him flush against him, leaning down to kiss him, fingers threading through blonde hair.

"It's ok" the blonde whispered, leaning up and licking at the raven's bloody lip, he'd never quite been in a confrontation like that but he knew that he needed to get his alpha out of there and somewhere he could help calm him down "I'm ok" he assured softly "Please take me home," He wasn't used to making 'requests' as an omega, but he kind of understood now why they were necessary sometimes, just like how Ino's command had kind of been the only thing that kept him from turning this whole situation into a shit show.

On the ride back Sasuke was gripping the wheel so hard his knuckles grew white and he reached over grabbing one of the raven's hands interlacing their fingers together, bringing the bruising knuckles up to his lips and kissing them softly.

"You got hurt dummy"

"I should have broken something" The raven spat back in a small growl.

Sasuke was on edge, upset, his pheromones barely controlled by the time they walked into his apartment. He nudged the raven over to the shower, knowing that being able to smell him would help—being able to see he was ok even though Sasuke had been the one to actually physically get hurt.

They only bothered to towel themselves dry as they fell on the bed, Sasuke pulled him close burying his face in his neck and hugging him tightly.

"Fuck" the raven muttered, his fingers gripping at the tan skin, Naruto climbed on top of the raven, his fingers grazing the bruising ribs before he leaned over to feather kisses over the raven's bruising cheekbone and his cut lip "I would never go to someone else" he whispered softly nuzzling the raven's neck and scenting him.

Sasuke woke when he felt the bed dip, his arm stretched out to Naru's side of the bed to find it cold. He rolled back sitting up blinking his eyes open and centering them where he'd felt the bed dip. He spotted the tray with breakfast, a bag of frozen peas right next to the plate of scrambled eggs.

"Morning" Naru mumbled as he grabbed the bag of frozen peas and brought it up to his face "I hope you're aware I will refuse any liability for the damage done to your face last night," He said lightheartedly but the half smile told him the blonde was still upset he'd gotten into that fight the night prior.

He shifted the tray to the side, grabbing the bag of frozen peas and placing it back on the tray before he pulled the blonde over to him "Baby boy" Naru's halfhearted smile was replaced by a pout but he allowed himself to be dragged over to where Sasuke had sat up nonetheless.

"Don't baby boy me" he chastised.

"Baby boy" he repeated, he loved the way Naru's smell got sweeter whenever he used any pet names on him. He pulled the blonde back to his front and leaned over to kiss the tan neck "First of all walking away would have been disrespectful towards you" His hands slithered under the loose grey t the blonde had on, his fingers grazing the shivering belly "Two, it would have spoken volumes about the type of alpha I am"

"I can't tell if you're trying to have a serious conversation with me or distracting me right now" The blonde muttered softly.

He smirked flipping them on the bed and climbing over the blonde, the tray shifting slightly next to them "Both"

"Hey! I woke up early so I could feed you"

He smirked down a the blonde and leaned down to kiss the pout away "And I am flattered your omega instinct kicked in and you felt the need to provide your alpha some sustenance"

He'd said it jokingly and the sparkle in the blue eyes told him Naru knew that, but the blonde still shifted his knee up trying to land a kick in his stomach "Where did the concern for my injuries go?" he asked, Naru laughed pushing him off and flipping them. Cussing as some of the coffee spilled onto the tray "You're a danger to this tray of food" He grumbled reaching over and sliding the tray over to the nightstand.

Sasuke's hands fell on his waist stilling him in place above him "Me?" he said amused "Nothing spilled when I climbed on top of you" The blonde frowned and stuck his tongue out at him.

He sat up holding the blonde to him as he stole his lips, sucking and biting until Naru leaned back gasping for air "Stop wearing the blockers" he muttered against abused lips.

His baby boy shifted his hip, nudging him to grind back on him "If I stop wearing the blockers other alphas will be able to smell me" he countered softly.

He met the blonde's shifting hips and felt his belly coil at the lust pooling in the blue eyes, he leaned down raking his teeth through the tan neck before he rubbed his cheek on the blondes scent gland "I want them to smell us, I want to mark you" he felt Naru shivering, his hips moving against him and sending little shots of electricity through him, he could smell him slicking.

Naruto let his forehead fall against his gasping softly, even it if wasn't a bonding mark, even if bites would fade, he needed more. Sasuke hadn't fought Kiba because of some misguided need to defend his alphahood. He'd done it because Kiba had disrespected his omega, it had been instinctual-Sasuke saw him as a true potential mate...

Yours. His omega demanded. Just like Sasuke's alpha had the previous night, he was surprised the raven was able to control himself, that despite how close to feral in his need he'd been he hadn't just bit him out of need the way he had the first time.

"I'm biting back" he muttered against the raven's lips ripping a small growl from the alpha as he pushed him down on the bed again sucking his lower lip and biting at it softly, his hands finding the hem of his shirt and making quick work of pulling it over his head.

Sasuke's black eyes had a sheen of red to them, and the intensity behind the raven's want, made him feel like there was lava pooling in his belly.

He was looking down at his baby boy, he'd never quite understood why his alpha had wanted the blonde so badly even after he'd pushed him away relentlessly.

It's because he was his.

Naruto was always meant to be his.

It went beyond ownership, it went beyond his alpha wanting to claim an omega.

Whether the blonde knew it or not, they were meant to be bonded pairs. He felt it all the way to his bones.

He pulled back and easily pulled the blonde's pants off, leaving a trail of lovebites from his baby ribs all the way down to his hipbones, satisfied with the way he shivered under him, gasping softly and bucking into him. His hand nudged his baby boy's thighs apart bypassing his erection and easily sliding two fingers through his entrance with no resistance, pulling a deep noise of satisfaction from him "This for me?" he muttered as he leaned down to kiss the blondes bellybutton, settling between the tan thighs and spreading them further.

"Sas" His name fell off the pretty lips like a mantra.

His eyes fell hungrily on that little hole that was dripping for him, his mouth was literally watering.

"Don't stare" The blonde tried to close his legs and he gripped them harder, leaning over and biting the tan thigh, dragging a sweet little keen from him.

"You know" he muttered between butterfly kisses scattered on tan thighs "If you stop wearing the blockers, I'll take you like this every chance I get princess" His eyes fell back on his price, his baby boys slicking entrance, he licked at his lips as he reached over to scoop the slick with his fingers before he pushed it back inside the blonde "Aww fuck—Sas, that's mmm!" He thrust back against his fingers gasping.

He smirked as he continued thrusting his fingers in completely enraptured by how they disappeared into his omega "Any alpha that dares smell you will only be able to smell just how good I take care of you" He leaned forward and licked along the twitching entrance, his free hand steadying tan hips in place as his baby boy trashed overwhelmed "Oh ngh—I need—ah!" he dipped his tongue inside and groaned his baby tasted just like he smelled, like sweet oranges, he'd never get enough. His erection was hard and demanding to slide inside, to claim his omega.

He thrust his tongue in, lapping at the slick, between the needy gasps of air, the twitching thighs, and the blonde moving back against his tongue— demanding more he thought he might just come without even touching himself but he was looking forward to being deep inside the blonde when he bit him. A small growl made its way out at the image and he pulled back, shifting over the blonde again and stealing his lips "Baby boy they'll be able to smell nothing but sated omega"

"Alpha" the blonde gasped against his lips, eyes filling with tears at the overstimulation. He tilted his head to the side showing the raven his neck and shifting under him asking for more. He growled again leaning down and biting the blonde's neck lightly "Fuck, Sas, stop teasing!" Naru let out a frustrated growl and he couldn't help but chuckle, his baby never could decide if he wanted to be submissive and pliable or a demanding princess. He made quick work of taking his pants off, reaching over to the nightstand, and quickly grabbing a condom from the drawer.

"What do you want baby boy?" the raven whispered by his ear as he settled between his thighs again, thrusting into his own hand to give himself some release before he slid the condom on.

"Take me" the blonde replied, reaching out to grip the raven's neck and bringing him down on his lips again.

"Whose are you baby?" his voice was dark and full of desire as he leaned forward pushing in ever so slowly.

"Ah–yes" The blonde gasped

"Whose?" Sasuke asked again, his thrust slow but hard.

"Yours alpha" the blonde gasped his hips meeting Sasukes "Your omega"

And that snapped any self-control that Sasuke had as he set a brutal pace, thrusting hard and straight into the blonde, going in deeper, closing his eyes as he felt the omega squeeze him. He slid an arm under the blonde's hips lifting them off the bed a bit to get a better angle, burying his face in his neck "You show them" he teethed at the blonde's upper neck and he felt him shiver and melt under him. His knot was quickly forming, catching on his rim, he needed him, all of him. He needed Naruto to feel him inside, outside, everywhere, he needed to be the only thing the blonde could think about at that moment.

He wanted to claim.

He wanted to belong.

"Bite me" the blonde gasped and he felt himself come undone as he sank his teeth into his neck, he was only slightly startled when the blonde bit back, and his climax crashlanded on him at the overwhelming feeling. He locked it into place and spilled, filling the condom. He sank his teeth in deeper as he thought about how badly he wanted to be spilling into the blonde, what it would feel like to claim him the inside just like he was doing from the outside.

He let go of the tender skin licking and nuzzling the spot and humming falling down on the blonde careful not to crush him.

Damn, he had no fucking self-control, his baby boy would be sore all week long. But there he was, purring against him, licking at his neck.

"Alright, no blockers," The blonde said softly, Sasuke was right, not only would their mixed smells turn off alphas trying to catch his omega smell, but by skipping on the blockers he would be able to smell Sasuke on him constantly, and his smell would provide him with safety and security.

"I love you baby boy" The raven's voice rang in his ear and he felt his heart flutter, he circled his arms around the raven as he buried his face on his shoulder "Baby boy?" The raven asked as heard a small sniffle.

"Sush" The blonded murmured his body shaking under him slightly and he pulled the blonde back, shifting as much as he could without hurting the blonde.

"You're not allowed to take it back now," Naruto said softly "Ever"

He kissed the wet cheeks, licking at the salty tears "Oh princess" he dropped his forehead against the blonde's "You're the one that's not allowed to take it back, no matter who comes along"

He stared at his reflection in the mirror, his heartbeat was so loud. He brought his hand up and his fingers grazed over Sasuke's bite.

"I love you, baby boy"

He got startled out of his thoughts as strong arms hugged him from behind, he leaned back into the raven "Pretty" he said, looking plenty satisfied with himself.

He laughed softly "You would think so, you put it there"

Sasuke smirked, his lips feathering over the mark "Like you weren't dying to place the one that faded right back on my neck" he said smugly and enjoyed the red that spread over the blonde's cheeks.

"Stop it" The blonde muttered, his belly coiling as he smelled and felt Sasuke's desire "We got to get going, and I'm sore enough as is, thank you very much"

"Say's the one that growled at me when I pulled out, demanding I go back inside"

"Sasuke!" He scolded whirling in the raven's arms and pouting at him. At least he'd managed to hold the 'take the condom off and fill me up' and ended up growling a 'back inside' instead.

He smelled his baby boy and hummed contentedly at their mixed smells "You make sure Itachi sees it before prep today" He said as he grabbed the blonde's hand leading him out of the bathroom.

"So inappropriate" the blonde chastised blushing "You leave your brother alone Sasuke"

Ok, it's half plot, half smut with some plot, but this particular scene is so important for them, and making it all 'flow' was much harder than anticipated! Also, I hope you went from laughing to angry to 'they're so cute' to *Blushes deeply* I don't know if you've noticed but I progressively get more aggressive with some of the A/B/O as well as some of the smut scenes, testing all our boundaries.

Ah, I've been wanting to update this forever! I know there is quite a bit going on and I absolutely cannot wait to read your thoughts on this one.
