Chapter One: My toast comes out a bit wrong

Dear Teddy lupin,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than july 31

Teddy Remus Weasley-Potter grabbed the letter out of the toaster with a piece of toast in my mouth

"uncle harry" I shouted but it came out more like "uncu hey"

"what's wrong" harry asked as he ran down the stairs "oh thank merlin" he sighed when I held up the letter and took the toast out of my mouth. Ginny walked down the stairs after Harry carrying a 3 year old Albus Hagrid Weasley-Potter and a one year old Lily Dobby Weasley-potter. Ginny put albus down and waved her wand and the fridge opened and breakfast started making itself. "Non-verbal spells, impressive' Teddy thought.

Ginny put Lily in her playpen while Harry caught albus to put him in his booster for breakfast.

"James, Esmeray breakfast time" Harry called up the stairs before making a plate of scrambled eggs and toast for albus.

James Fred Weasley-potter came down and started heaping a plate with eggs. Suddenly there was a loud 'CRASH' from upstairs. Albus spat out his eggs, Harry dropped his fork, My hair turned bright orange and spiky, Ginny whipped out her wand and cast a bubble force field around Lily's play pen. We all froze and heard giggling up stairs when a broomstick whooshed down the stairs with two girls on it, one girl had navy hair with silver flecks in it wearing a crooked silver circlet on her head and punk clothes and black lipstick the other had light pink hair and was wearing a yellow crop top and a brown pleated skirt It was just Esmeray.

"Esmeray Alastor weasley-potter!" Ginny yelled "hello, Ramona" she added, smiling sweetly and the navy haired girl "one more time you scare us like that and you'll have to ride your broom to Kings-cross!" she continued at Esmeray

"Sorry, It was my fault, my boot crashed into the banister on the way down the stairs" Ramona chimed in

"No, no, Its fine Im sorry i snapped at you both I was up late last night working on some quidditch moves for the harpies" Ginny said, wearily removing the spell from Lily's play pen. "I'm glad you're getting better at that broom though" she added

"Thanks mom" Esmeray smiled.

"Anyway," Harry said as the two girls sat down for breakfast. "Teddy, you best write a letter to professor Mcgonagal, once you've done that we can go to Diagon alley to buy all your stuff"

"OK!" I squealed, I was excited to go to Diagon alley, I had only been twice and It had been the most magical place I had ever seen; there were so many colorful shops to look at and the people inside them were even more colorful!

Once I finished breakfast I went up to my room, sat down at my desk and took out a notebook and pen, like a normal person. Uncle Harry said I should use a quill and ink because that is how you have to do it In hogwarts but that makes no sense, why couldn't Hogwarts just have a couple pens for like, Muggle borns or something. I finished writing my letter and folded it carefully and put it in an envelope. I wasn't sure what address to put so I just left it sitting on his desk.

I grabbed out a duffle bag and put it on his bed. Uncle Harry said that he used a trunk when he went to Hogwarts, but It's 2009 and that also makes no sense because Duffle bags and backpacks are more portable and you can fit more stuff.

I packed up clothes, toiletries and everything else I would need, even though I don't start for a few almost a week I like to be ready.

While I was packing I spotted my calendar hanging on my wall, No, It can't be right Please let it not be right. I check my hogwarts letter and it confirms, the first day at hogwarts, Is a full moon.
