The very next day, Luigi had decided to make some French Toast for him and Michael. The man in green had been up early. He was almost done cooking. Michael smelled something and went to see what Luigi was up to. The oldest Afton child was impressed.
Luigi saw him, "Morning Michael."
Michael smiled, "Morning. Everything smells so good!"
Luigi smiled himself, "Thanks. Out of the two of us, Mama noted that I was a good cook." That's when he looked down sadly. Michael placed his hand on his shoulder. Luigi sniffled, "T - thanks."
Michael stated, "Maya found some articles about you and your family. I know about your parents."
Luigi stammered, "O - oh." Before the ghost hunter could say anymore, he had noted that the French Toast was ready. He asked, "Ready?"
To that, Michael nodded.
...
After having their breakfast, Maya and Sal were the first two to arrive. About ten minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Michael opened it. There was an older gentleman there. He had short salt and pepper hair, brown eyes, wearing a long sleeved brown jacket with a white undershirt and a black tie, brown dress pants, and black dress shoes. He was also overweight.
Michael regarded, "Hey Bill!"
Bill stated, "Hey Michael!" He turned to Luigi and added, "And this is Luigi?"
Luigi replied, "Si, I am."
Maya introduced, "This is Bill Alana, the former CEO of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
Bill greeted, "Nice to meet you."
Luigi responded, "Same to you."
In another ten minutes, there was another knock at the door. This time there was a man a bit older than Michael. He has black hair with blue highlight at the tips - the bangs covering the stitches from the surgery, blue eyes, wearing a black undershirt, a long sleeved black hoodie with a white zipper, torn black jeans, and black shoes. With him was a girl and an older gentleman that was Bill's age. The older gentleman had fake legs. The girl had long dirty blonde hair tied back into a high ponytail, hazel eyes, wearing a hot pink shirt, a short white skirt, and white flats. The older gentleman had shaggy graying dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, wearing his short sleeved blue shirt with a silver badge on it, and blue shorts. He was tall and skinny, unlike Bill.
Sal introduced the man first, "This is Jeremy Fitzgerald, former night and day shift guard." He then pointed at the girl, "And this is Jeremy's fiance, Izzy McHaels." He then pointed at the older gentleman, "And this is Joe McHaels."
Jeremy stated, "It's nice to meet you."
Luigi replied, shaking his hand, "Nice to meet you too."
Izzy told Sal, "And it's still hard to believe that Jeremy and I are going to get married soon."
Sal joked, "Gee, you don't say."
To that, Izzy laughed sheepishly. Joe laughed, until he got glared at.
Joe changed the subject, "It's nice to meet you too, Luigi. I'm the former owner of Freddy's."
Luigi asked, "I don't get it though? Did you sell the place?"
Joe answered, "Yes to my cousin, Scott Cawthon. He wants to clean it and put up Fazbear's Fright."
Luigi questioned, "Until I found that...thing...?"
Joe stated, "Well, the papers are still in the process. So he might change his mind. I would have to check with him."
Izzy asked, "Want me to call him for you, Dad?"
Joe teased, "Think I can handle one phone call. I am Phone Guy, after all."
To that, everyone laughed, except for Luigi. He was very confused.
Michael turned to Jeremy, "Where's Connie? I thought she was coming too."
Jeremy shook his head, "Nah, she went out of town the other day with Rachael."
Michael just nodded, turning to Luigi. He asked, "Ready to know our story?"
Luigi asked back, "Ready to know mine?"
...
After a while, Michael and Luigi had both told their stories. To his surprise, they had believed the man in green. Luigi felt Mr. L giving him a 'I told you so' look. Luigi knew that he would have to apologize to him later.
Luigi told them, "I'm surprised that you believe me."
Michael raised an eyebrow, "Why wouldn't we?"
Maya pointed out, "To be fair, I'm surprised that you believe us."
Luigi replied, "It didn't sound too unbelievable. Especially since, uh, Springtrap...?" To that, Bill nodded. Joe was still trying get a hold of Scott. He further added, "I guess your father did discover the secret of life."
Michael shrugged, "Yeah, I guess so."
Jeremy replied, "Not the way to find out about it, though."
Izzy agreed, "Sad but true."
Sal responded, "A lot of good kids, like my nephew, died because of that maniac. We need to stop him once and for all."
Bill saw that Joe had hung up his phone. He saw his gaze. "Joe? What's wrong?"
Joe answered, "Scott isn't answering. I'm starting to get worried."
Jeremy raised a brow, "Wasn't he recording some tapes for Fazbear's Fright? Maybe he's busy?"
Izzy replied, "Yeah but he would've at least answered his phone. Right Dad?"
Joe nodded, "Right, it isn't like him." He turned to Sal, "Sal?"
Sal told him, "Don't worry, I'm on it. Still staying at the Heights Hotel?"
To that, the former owner of Freddy's nodded. With that, Sal headed off. Luigi had to admit, he was worried.
Luigi asked, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Maya answered, "That something happened to Scott?"
Luigi replied, "Si, that's what I'm thinking."
Izzy told her friends, "I think we should look in his office too."
Jeremy replied, "Good point. Luigi, you and Joe take his office. Michael; you and Maya check the bank. Izzy and I will check the grocery store. If we can't find him within an hour, we will all meet up at Freddy's."
Everyone nodded as they split up to look for Scott.
Mr. L asked, "Do you want me to take over if we do go to Freddy's?"
Luigi shook his head, "Not unless we have to literally disable Springtrap. You are better with tools than I am."
Mr. L nodded, "Right. And thanks for trusting me."
Luigi teased, "Like I had a choice."
To that, the masked bandit laughed. Luigi and Joe had just arrived at Scott's office. Luigi opened the door for Joe, politely. Joe smiled as he went inside first. Luigi went in next.
Joe scratched his head, "This isn't like my cousin at all." He noticed some tapes on the table. He further added, "Maybe these were the tapes Jeremy was talking about?"
Luigi admitted, "Maybe so."
That's when the two of them checked the file system. There were a few files missing, particular to the selling of the company to Scott.
Joe asked, "Why would William want to take those files?"
Luigi answered, "You said once that he never wanted Freddy's to close. Maybe he wants to keep Freddy's to himself?"
Joe shrugged, not sure of that. There was nothing he could do right now. It was all in Scott's hands in another few days.
