Chessy

She was being shaken and she tried to fight, but the doctors had given her something to calm her. "You whore" she heard "you stupid slut." It was Macon. "You wouldn't let me touch you, but you let him get you pregnant? After how well I treated you, you did this to me."

She tried to scream but couldn't find her voice. She was terrified, but she couldn't speak as he shook her harder. He was going to kill her, going to kill her baby. "NO!" she screamed as the thought came to her. "MACON LET ME GO!" She started fighting against him. She had never done that before and it shocked him. She took advantage of the shock to try to run. Her knees buckled as soon as her feet hit the floor. "HELP!" she screamed as she tried to crawl away."SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!"

Roland

Roland had stepped away for a quick cup of coffee as the nurses were adjusting her IV, and when he rounded the corner by her room he heard her screaming. Taking off running he saw a sight he had never wanted to see. Chessy was on the ground with a pale blonde haired man on top of her. She was fighting but in her weakened state it was no good. "Let her go." Roland said, stepping in and closing the door so that he would have no way to escape.

"She's mine." Macon said, pulling out a knife. "I will have her." He roughly pulled Chessy up to her feet. "If you come any closer I will kill her." Roland saw the fear in her eyes, but then he saw something else. Determination.

"I said let me go!" she commanded as her elbow came into contact with his groin. He collapsed on the floor with a strangled cry. Chessy started kicking him over and over, Roland could see the tears in her eyes.

"Chessy, he's done. It's over." Roland grabbed the much smaller woman and held her close as she sobbed. The man on the floor began to stir and Roland pulled his gun. "Please move, please give me a reason to kill you."

Macon looked up and stopped moving, knowing that it was over. "Please shoot him Roland." Chessy breathed into his chest. "Please, kill him."

"No Roland," came the stern voice of his employer from behind him "I need something from him first."

That night Chessy and Seto sit on her bed in HER house. She held the deed in her hands, in exchange for not killing him Seto had forced Macon to sign the house back over to her free and clear. But Macon was sitting in the jail right now for his crimes against Chessy, she had told the police everything from beginning to end and it was looking like he would never get out of prison. "I never thought I would be able to be this happy" She said as she snuggled into his arms. "Thank you for everything that you have done for me. I love you."

"I love you too," he said, enjoying the feel of her in his arms. He moved to put his hands on her stomach. "But we need to tell our family about this little sea monkey here."

"Sea Monkey?" she asked.

"Well until we know what it is, sea monkey is as good a title as any." He leaned down and kissed her.

"If it's a boy….."

"Sammy is a wonderful name." he finished her thought for her as he nuzzled her neck.

1 year later

"Are you ready?" Tea asked, putting one last touch into Chessy's hair.

"I think so, Tea I am so nervous!" She looked at her friend, "Is this a mistake?"

"Absolutely not." Tea said as she stood in front of Chessy in a blue satin bridesmaid dress. "Where are the flower girls?"

"Here they are." Mokuba said as he pulled a wagon in with a black haired toddler and a red headed infant both in white dresses. "Maggie Grace tried to make a run for it. But Maisie Kate is a dream."

"Only because she can't run yet." Chessy said, looking down at her daughter proudly. She picked up the little bundle and hugged her closely. "My sweet little sea monkey." she cooed as the baby reached up for her mother.

"Chessy, baby, it's time." Her father said coming into the back room. Charlie looked at his baby, wearing the white dress that her mother had made for her, she was beautiful. He tried to stop the tear that escaped his eye, but he couldn't.

"Oh Daddy", Chessy cried as she wrapped her arms around her father. She kissed his cheek as she pulled away. "Come on sea monkey, let's go marry your daddy."
