4. The Doctor's findings.

When the security moved the Doctor away along the corridor, he's left just ... further along the corridor! .
He walks away, noting names and titles of the people using each room. A room bearing the title Cleaner seems likely to provide him with some cleaning equipment to go undercover with, and he opens the door hoping that there isn't a cleaner actually in the room at the time! Maybe they let the cleaner out sometimes for good behaviour? .
The Head of Operations room attracts his attention. He puts his ear to the door and listens briefly before knocking. No answer is his best response, enabling him to enter as a cleaner might and lean his recently acquired cleaning gear against the nearest hopeful looking filing cabinet. Its drawers are marked with date ranges. A blip of his sonic screwdriver opens the cabinet and he's able to open the relevant drawer.
Tabs on the contents of the drawer denote closer date ranges. "Hmm, that's very recent!" He wonders if the document he wants has been put into the drawer yet.

The Doctor lifts out the relevant file, closing the filing cabinet drawer, and places it on the table.
He extracts the contents, fanning them out on the table-top and selects a sheet that looks likely.

A brief noise from the doorknob alerts him to the presence of someone about to come into the room.
Before the door opens he folds the paper and pushes it deftly into an inside pocket as he steps back towards the cleaning equipment.

"What do you think you're doing? You'd better have a very good explanation for your presence here when there's anything open on the table!"
"Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware ..." the Doctor says. He was going to say he wasn't aware of such a rule.
"You must leave now!"
"Is this your office?" The Doctor wants more information, so he knows who he's talking to, and possibly later on - who to ask about things.
"Yes!" The Head of Operations becomes more impatient. He's had a stressful day!

The Doctor retrieves the cleaning things and leaves the room rapidly, reading the presiding occupant's name from the door on his way, Ivor File. .

Once away from the room, the Doctor reads the information on the sheet of paper before looking around and finding Chloe.

Readout.

The Doctor looks at Chloe. He's disappointed in the result, but he'd been half expecting this.
"The delivery information for that delivery just says its delivery to Sontar was avoided!"
"But we know it wasn't Sontar," Chloe says. She's disappointed that after chasing around Kerblam they still haven't advanced their knowledge! "Can I see the info?"
The Doctor passes the sheet of paper. It's been folded several times and has a distinctly worn appearance.
Chloe studies it and finds the delivery information. A small thumbnail picture accompanies the text. As she focusses on the text she finds some that makes no sense. She photographs it, hoping to have a look later.
"Do we need to return this sheet?" she asks.
"We should. It's a bit bent, though!"
"I'll iron it!"
"The Tardis can do that," the Doctor claims.
"Thank you, Tardis," Chloe says to at least try to encourage the Tardis a bit more.
