Percy Jackson: An Outside View
Just a short prologue for a Percy Jackson story I've planned, it's indeed a Mortal boy seeing Percabeth, I know this has been done before, plenty of times, but I wanted to try my own spin on it; with a key difference from the others that I've read. Anyway, enjoy.
Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson or its characters.
Prologue
I yelped as I landed heavily on the ground, having tripped over my own feet of all things. I looked up and froze, eyes wide and fearful as I took in the large, slavering, evil looking dog, it began to edge nearer, growling and clearly eager to devour me.
'No, no, not like this.' I thought in dismay.
It was getting closer and I knew none of the others were nearby and I knew I was helpless. What chance did I, a...what did they call it, clear-sighted Mortal, have against this monster. For I knew now that's exactly what it was, a monster. I think the others had called it a Hellhound. I had met one before but that one was friendly, the only friendly one I was told. So I had no such luck here. The Hellhound closed in and I almost passed out from the fear, believing this was it, this was my death. To think it all started that simple day after school when I first met them, when I first met, although I didn't know it at the time, the Demigods.
End of chapter, hope you enjoyed it, read and review please.
