Chapter 1 : Child of the stars Spica.
"-run away!"
A boy ran through the burning wrecking of a green city. Following the advice of the Space garrison members to get to safety. His silver and red body glowed blue and he picked up speed.
Behind him an explosion rang as the invaders were fought off. Emerald buildings fell upon a crystal like street. More explosions rang out as the battle raged.
"Hold the line!"
Barriers of light appeared in front of men and women like beings. Covered head to toe in silver skin with blue or red markings.
Blasts and beams of energy stuck but the barriers held on. Then they were let down so the warriors could retaliate.
They came to blows with robotic replicas of one of their own.
"Do not let a single one of the young one's come to harm."
Wait, were his classmates nearby?
Pausing at the thought, the boy slowed down to look back.
That was a fatal mistake. A heavily damaged robot caught the boy's gaze. Half its head was missing along with a limb. The burnt orange portions of its torso had been torn open exposing the machinery within.
A menacing red dot that was the Darklop's mono eye looked firmly at the boy. Its existence was about to be terminated. Nearly all of its limbs were heavily damaged, flight capabilities were shut down and its weapons were destroyed.
Even still It was determined to take out one life with it.
Black clawed hands reached out and grabbed the terrified boy's shoulder and pinned him down.
The silver portions of its chest opened exposing its damaged core.
"Stop it !" A resident of the land of light. A silver giant with blue markings held up a strange device that fired a black beam.
A black hole formed and it started sucking the robot in. Distracting it, another giant appeared next to the robot. With red markings it tore the robot's hands away from the boy.
The robot would not allow this.
A beam fired from the gem on its forehead sent the Red tribe ultra flying.
The boy screamed as the energies from the overloading core expanded out, forming a barrier between them and the Space Garrison members attempting to rescue the boy.
Beams, fists and whatever energy they could muster was let loose against it but it failed to breach through in time.
None of them could do nothing but watch as one of their youths was taken into the shrinking black hole.

Dressed in green pajamas, a young girl walked along a forest trail. Ai Hoshino had no real reason to be wandering about this late at night.
"The stars just looked lovely and I wanted to watch them in peace."
She was never an avid stargazer but just this night. She took one look outside her window and noticed how brightly one blue star was shining.
The moonlight shining down upon her illuminated her tear stained red cheeks.
"It's fine. You'll find more people to adopt a pretty girl like you."
She repeated the words of the orphanage director. He… was a kind man. Looking after her and her fellow orphans.
Yet.. she never felt the familial love she read about from him.
"I wonder if this is what love is?"
No, the books said it was a warm feeling that makes you feel fluffy. What she felt from the director was that she felt safe to be around him and did not have to be worried about being molested… Unlike her mother's friends.
Maybe it's because the love was spread amongst them all or is it because he was never around all the time. Busy with the orphanage's maintenance and other jobs.
The workers smiled and helped her but she never felt a connection with them either. Just like with… her mother.
A phantom pain ran up her cheek and scalp. Memories of her mother slapping and pulling her hair.
Screams about how if Ai had not been born, her mother would not have to work as hard. How she could not get dates because there was baggage and…
"I should have had the abortion! You were nothing but a useless burden."
The words and the look of utter contempt on her mother's face when the police arrested her. Would haunt Ai's dreams every now and then.
"Maybe… if I was a better daughter. If I stayed quiet when mother invited men over or just stayed hidden at the playground. Or could find a job. Mother would still be-"
A near blinding blue light from the heavens interrupted her thoughts.
Blocking her eyes, Ai waited till she could see properly and peeked out through her fingers.
"A shooting star?"
The blue star was growing bigger.
"No."
Dread filled her mind as realization sunk in.
"It's falling towards me!"
Panicked, Ai started looking around for cover. Above her the blue star picked up speed and entered the earth's atmosphere.
By the time Ai found a big enough tree to hide under. The star passed over her and crashed into the forest. The ground shook and Ai held on for her life.
Ai did not know how long it lasted. From the heat and force of the crash to the terrifying noise of the forest being gouged out by the star. She could barely think straight.
There was one thing the 10-year old was sure of.
It was that she did not want to die.
Ai wanted to live.
Once more she prayed to gods that never returned her prayers.
"Please. Let me live."
Over and over she prayed as the whole world around her shook.
When the shaking ended. Ai, stopped praying.
Everything felt muted, she could hear the crackling of fire and a weird humming noise.
After a few moments to calm her breathing. Ai dared to peek out of the strong tree that somehow managed to stand firm protecting her.
The sight of something incredible… no there were no words Ai could use to describe what she was seeing.
A large trench had been dug out. Inside the trench was a giant. A giant covered in a blue glow.
Silver skin with red markings. Ai could make it to the giant's backside and the earth shook. With each movement the giant made to pick itself up.
"Help!?"
Ai's head hurt as an alien voice entered her mind.
"Someone please help."
The giant turned and Ai gasped when she saw its- No his face.
"It hurts, it's so painful."
"ULTRAMAN!"
The face was a bit different and the horn portion was bigger and the markings on his body were different. But she recognized the alien. How could she not, everyone at her orphanage watched the alien heroes weekly.
Maybe he was a new Ultra? Tsuburaya always makes new ones. Maybe this was a brand new Ultra no one has seen yet.
Ai's feet were moving and she ran towards the giant's face.
She watched those old shows before. As long as she was quiet while her mother was watching the TV or passed out drunks as the television played.
A time of respite where her mother did nothing bad to her.
"I'm here!"
Despite how far away she was, the alien somehow heard her. Turning itself to look her way. Reaching its hand out towards her.
"Let me help you!"
Before long she was face to face with the giant who was reaching his hand out towards her.
Another blinding flash of light illuminated the area for the first time in Ai's life.
She felt two conflicting emotions overwhelm her well up within her.
There was a wave of alien but familiar emotions she knew well. Negative ones accompanied by jolts of unbearable pain through her body. Negative feelings she was used to loneliness, helplessness and pain but there was something new as well.
A warm feeling that made her want to smile. It was building up within her and she felt like nothing could stop her.

"What do you mean you found nothing!"
Multiple helicopters flew by as a man in a black suit yelled at people in strange military gear.
"You mean after all this-"
The man gestured to his surroundings where scientists and other workers were. Manned various equipment, vehicles and devices scanning the environment. Collecting samples as they combed the area.
The entire area had been closed off. Forming a perimeter, cutting of nosey media personnel and civilians from approaching.
"-All this money wasted."
"Aside from some space debris and cosmic radiation we were able to detect. The entire area is void of life sir."
One of the men finally spoke up as their superior stopped ranting.
"Come again?"
Inhuman blue eyes stared down at the trooper. Who felt naked under his superior's gaze.
"Cosmic radiation sir."
"You sure."
"Yes sir. I overheard the scientists confirming that it was indeed cosmic radiation."
"So our scanners were not faulty before they blew up."
"Fan out. Increase the search radius. Call the entire recon squad. We cannot let this one go."
"Sir yes sir!"
The men saulted their superior and marched off.
"How and why is one of them here of all places?"
Looking at the crash site one more time. Agent Willson observed the giant human shaped indent at the crash site. If their new visitor was who he expected. Then they were young, he had never seen one so young before.
"Really a To'kustar of all things… Am I going to have to worry about kaiju battles next?
Reaching into his suit's coat, the man pulled out a circle badge. One with a green hourglass symbol.
"Command we have a problem."

Author notes: Read Oshi no Ko a while ago. Ai's death was gut wrenching then. Her death in the anime made it worse. Rie Takahashi is really talented. Even if it was just one episode. The character Ai was stuck in my head and it made me remember more things from the manga and ended up rereading it. I dropped it during the whole stage show arc with Aqua went through an emotional development arc. No real reason, just got busy with life and forgot about it. Ended up thinking about writing this story while watching Ultraman and ended up doing it.
For context. Spica is a very young Ultra. He's 2000 years old and by Ultra standards he's around elementary school age. His powers are weak and he has not even learned to fly properly yet. At best he can make barriers, heal himself and AI by extension and fire energy blasts.
With Ai being Spica's host. Things are going to turn out better for Ai mentally in the long run. Their bond will help both of them develop as characters. I'm not 100% sure how this will affect Ai's mentally due to her emotionally stunted childhood but I'll write it as best as I can.
Timeline wise, he's from the time Belial made a galactic army and attacked the land of light from another universe. As for the Oshi no Ko world. Did some searching online. Not 100% sure so if someone can point me towards an official timeline that would be great. Right now AI's around 10 and the year is 2008. Ultraman Zero's the new one. The film featuring the event's Spica experience won't be on screens for a while.
About the last scene. If you recognized the badge and the alien species name. You can guess what kind of fictional world I have mixed in with Oshi No Ko's world.
I have posted this on Questionable Questing as well.
