Honestly, they really should've seen that Hoopa portal coming.
Red and Green met a mischievous Hoopa, who decided to portal them to somewhere.
Sighing, Green looks around.
It's a blank space. A white room with nothing in it.
"We're probably in-between dimensions right now," Red sighs.
They decide to try to find a way out, wandering around together until they find… themselves?
In front of them is a young man with brown hair and a red cap, a young man with black hair and red cap, Pikachu on his shoulder, a young man with spiky brown hair and hazel eyes, and another young man with spiky brown hair and green eyes.
They look exactly like Red and Green, only with variations on their hair and eye colors.
"Ah…" all of them blink in shock.
"Uh… I'm Ash Ketchum. Nice to meet you!" says the young man with a Pikachu on his shoulder.
"Pi Pikachu!"
Flash! Flash!
Two more Pikachu come out on their own.
"Pi Pika!"
"Pi Pikachu!"
"Pi Pika Pikachu!"
They greet each other, shaking tails and sharing electricity.
"I'm Red/…Red," both Red and the red cap man answer at the same time. They look at each other in surprise, "Huh?!/?!"
"Green Oak/Gary Oak/Blue Oak," the spiky haired boys answer at the same time before sighing heavily.
"Let me guess… Hoopa?" Blue asks.
"Yup," Green and Gary answer.
"Well~ as long as we're here, we might as well get to know each other!" Ash smiles, the only one happy in this situation.
"All I can say is: Welcome to the Chaos," Gary sighs like he's already done with this.
It was then that Flash! Flash! Flash! Flash!
Two Eevees, an Umbreon, and an Espeon let themselves out as well, greeting each other.
"Eev Eevee!"
"Eev vee Vee!"
"Bre Umbreon."
"Spe Espeon."
They discuss their weird situation as their Pokemon play.
Of course, they had to settle a problem.
"Rock! Paper! Scissors!" Both Reds draw a few times before a winner is decided.
Long story short: the Red with black hair wins, so the other Red is now named Aka while in this in-between dimension space.
Aka sulks a bit at losing…but actually doesn't mind it that much since he basically lost to himself.
When they find a report about Hunter J's ship going down in Lake Valor and exploding… and hasn't been seen since…
All Ash and Gary would say is, "Good riddance."
"Guys…" Blue sighs.
"What?" Ash and Gary ask, "She did try to kill us."
Blue just shakes his head as the others just don't know what to say to that.
With the Oaks…
Gary himself is a Researcher while…
"Gym Leaders? Both of you?" Gary blinks in surprise.
"Viridian City Gym Leaders," Blue and Green answer.
"Huh…" Gary's near speechless.
"Then, starter?" he asks.
"Blastoise," Blue and Gary answer.
"Charizard," Green sighs, much to the other two's surprise.
Then, they came across a crystal out of nowhere. The crystal was just gray.
Curiously, Ash touched it, and it instantly turned bright blue.
"Aura, huh…" Red mutters.
"Yeah…" Ash nods, his eyes blue before he takes his hand off the crystal.
Red just smiles as he touches it, and it turns red.
Eyes widened, Ash looks at Red in astonishment.
"Me too," Red smiles, his eyes glowing red before he too takes his hand off the crystal.
Ash and Red fistbump in solidarity.
After experimenting with aura a bit, Ash gives Green an Aura sword, which turns green.
"Why?!" Red asks, very concerned. 'Green's good with a sword, but this…'
Green smiles, very pleased as he tests it out on a rock. The sword cuts through it like butter, cutting the rock in half.
This both scares and awes the other Oaks and Aka.
Red just sweat-drops.
Out of nowhere, a hoop portal opens, and out comes Hoopa.
"Hehe! Did I surprise you?" Hoopa asks, snickering.
"Nope," Ash deadpans as he tugs on Hoopa's ear.
"Owowowow! Ashkan!" Hoopa whines before Ash lets go.
Then other Pokemon come out of the portal. Namely three Mew, Azelf, Lugia, Giratina, Solgaleo, and… four Mewtwo.
The three Mew greet each other, playing around.
"Mew!"
"Mew mew?"
"Mew mew mew!"
"Az Azelf…" Azelf just sighs and goes over to Ash, sitting on his shoulder.
Lugia, Giratina, and Solgaleo also go over to Ash, nuzzling him.
Ash laughs, "Hey guys…" petting and greeting them like old friends.
The Legendaries greet him as well.
"...He's a Legendary magnet alright…" Gary sweat-drops.
"Uh-huh…" the others all agreed.
However, the Mewtwos talk to each other about this situation.
"Do you have any idea what happened?" one Mewtwo asks in a feminine voice.
"Probably summoned by Hoopa," the other Mewtwo with a masculine voice hums, "And probably in-between dimensions."
"If that's the case then…" female Mewtwo looks at Ash being surrounded by Legendary Pokemon, Red, Aka, and the Oaks.
"Themselves from other dimensions huh…" a Mewtwo sighs.
"Should we…greet them?" another Mewtwo asks.
"..."
As soon as the Oaks see the Mewtwo, they freeze, trembling a bit in fear.
Honestly, trauma is what they all have in common.
Aka, Ash and Red stepped in-between them, becoming their mediators.
"...it's good to see you again, Ash. It's been a while," the male Mewtwo says.
"...Good to see you too, Mewtwo," Ash answers, a small smile on his face.
"Ashy?"
"Red?"
Looking back at them, Ash and Red just smile at them, "It'll be OK," their eyes glowing with aura.
They turn back to the Pokemon.
"Hoopa?" Red guesses.
The Mewtwo all nod.
Ash sighs, "Figures…"
"Why didn't you tell me there was another Mewtwo?" female Mewtwo asks.
"You never asked," Ash shrugs.
Then the Mews interrupt.
"Mew mew!"
"Mew mew mew!
"Mew!"
"Not again…" male Mewtwo facepalms.
"Do I have to get between you two again, or will you actually talk?" Ash deadpans.
"Mew~!" one of the Mew whines, "Mew mew mewmew mew."
"I don't want to die for the seventh time, thanks," Ash sassily smiles.
"Uh…seventh time?" Red hesitantly asks.
"But Chosen One~!" Mew whines.
"Nope!" Ash huffs, crossing his arms. He trembles, trying not to laugh.
He fails about a few more whines from Mew as he starts laughing, "...sorry!"
"Mew!" Mew pouts.
"Can we please go home now, Hoopa?" Ash asks.
"Aye aye!" Hoopa smiles as he opens up more portals.
The Mew and Mewtwo went first, then the Legendaries and Azelf.
Ash, Red, and Aka hug each other, "See ya!" before parting.
While Green, Blue, and Gary fistbump, "See ya bros!"
As they stepped into the portal home, they all smiled. The Oaks at least, have come out of this with a slightly less fear of Mewtwo.
