Naruto and Narumi were now at the age of 4, yet these 4 years did not treat them had blonde hair like his brother but with strands of red and Kushina violet eyes. While we already know what Naruto looks like. Both of them were in the orphanage, and what Naruto did not expect is that in this timeline, both Naruto and Narumi were treated way worse than Naruto expected. Naruto was not even the Jinjuriki of the nine tails but was treated as such. The harsh glares were a normal occurrence for Naruto, but the harsh words for Naruto were a different experience, as he had never been treated as harshly as in his previous timeline, so Naruto conducted some research. What Naruto concluded was that the villagers had spread the rumour that he was a demon as well as Narumi because they were related, and Naruto wondered what type of conclusions the villagers would draw. The villagers were definitely becoming creative with their minds. However, what really shocked him was what happened today.
—-Flashback -
Naruto and Narumi were watching the rest of the children play with their toys, such as mini ninja figurines and various animals, while they did nothing and could not do anything. The matron did not allow Narumi to play with the other children, fearing what the demon could do to them. Naruto was able to since he was not the one to contain the nine tails, so the matron went easier on Naruto. She still did not like him no matter what, especially when Naruto refused to play with the other kids and stay with Narumi. That is where things got more harsh for Naruto. The matron started to see Naruto as a demon as well.
"I wish I could play with those toys, but we are never allowed the toys." Narumi sighed. No matter what she did, she would never be allowed to play or even interact with the other children, and it did not help that the children hated her as well for reasons Narumi did not know why.
Naruto had an idea. He started to focus on his hikariton chakra and started to form something with his light chakra. What was made was a set of toys from thin light. Even though they are made of light, these toys are tangible.
"How did you do that, Naruto?" Narumi looked in awe. A set of toys was made out of thin air.
"I recently figured out I could use my chakra to make intangible objects. However, it is verifiable. Naruto started coughing up blood in his arms.
"Naruto, are you alright?"
"Yeah, it just puts tonnes of strain on my body as I can't control it well."
"You don't need to harm yourself just to create a few toys." Narumi looked quite concerned, as Naruto looked like he had been run over by a bulldozer.
"It's fine, plus the objects stay in the real world."
Naruto and Narumi started to play with the toys Naruto had created. However, Naruto had a bad feeling about this. It reminded him of a certain day in his previous timeline—the day where he got kicked out of the orphanage. And guess who turned up just like in the previous timeline? The matron. Naruto sensed the matron watching them and her anger rising.
"What makes you think you can steal toys from the other kids?" The matron demanded it, staring into their souls. The hatred radiating from her
"You demons, get out of here immediately and take the toys. We can't give it back to the other children; it has already been corrupted by the both of you." She grabbed their items in a bag, dragged them out of the orphanage, and dumped them out of the orphanage.
Naruto was saddened by these events; it was just like the previous timeline—just the same old things happening again, and Naruto was unable to change it. He was too weak and did not have the opportunity to train.
"What do we do now?" Tears were swelling up in Narumi's eyes.
"We will visit the old man." "He might be able to help us."
"How will he be able to help us?"
"He is the Hokage. He runs the village, and I'm sure he could find a solution."
Naruto knew what the Hokage would do, as it happened in the previous timeline. He will give them an apartment, which means he will be able to get out of prying eyes and be better able to train, as the orphanage would never, in a million years, allow Naruto or Narumi to train.
They made their way down a few streets to get to the Hokage office. But Naruto could sense chakra signatures and a mob of people surrounding them.
Naruto was bewildered, as he had never seen anything like this, and what surrounded him was a mob of villagers, all armed with weapons. Not just villagers, but some shinobi have joined, most of them being only genins and tunings.
"Let's avenge the Yondaime." And kill the demons of the world." One villager shouted
"We punish you for what you have done, murdering families and loved ones." Another villager shouted.
Narumi was frozen. She had never seen that many people trying to kill her, and she was frozen in horror. The killer intent of the shinobi and the villagers is a lot to take in for a mere 4-year-old. Naruto stood his ground, and there was nowhere to run. Narumi would not be fast enough to outpaste the shinobi and the massive amount of villagers, and Naruto did not have the chakra control to form the Shunshin to body flicker himself and Narumi away. There was only one option. And that option was to fight.
Naruto took a stance and charged at one of the genins, which caught him off guard. He managed to hit a few blows on the genin, swiftly took out the kunai, and slashed at his neck. Killing the genin. The other shinobi were shocked, and Naruto managed to get a few hits on them, but his body was not strong or fast enough. One of them hit him in the face, sending him flying. One of the chunins saw this as an opportunity and sent a fireball at him, attempting to immobilise him so the beating could be carried out. Narumi was in shock. She was frozen even more in place and scared of what the fireball could do to Naruto. The jutsu was on course to hit Naruto when he used his Kunai laced with Hikariton chakra, absorbing the fireball. The shinboi looked in bewilderment. What just happened? Naruto couldn't even move as the effect of the chakra was immense, and he felt like every bone in his body had shattered as his heart felt like it was twisting and trenching and bleeding out. The pain caused Naruto to scream out in agony as it overwhelmed him. This was pain like he had never felt before. A shinobi brought down a kunai on Naruto.
"You monster. You have killed my friend. It is time to pay." One of the chunin was swiftly bringing down the kunai, plunging into his stomach. He was about to go for the finishing blow when a group of chains killed him and shredded him into pieces. This attack wasn't Naruto's, but Narumi's. Once they saw what Narumi had done, the mob started beating her down. Cuts and bruises were all over her body.
Suddenly, the whole mob dropped dead. Naruto was scanning around, witnessing the event while he bled out. His Kinsharingan was active, looking for the person who saved both him and Narumi. His eyes locked with a three-tomoe sharingan. He was staring at the weasel-masked Anbu, who is better known as Itachi. And everything turned into darkness.
Flashback end
Naruto opened his eyes just to see a white tiled ceiling. He was in the Konoha hospital. He could tell for sure. He was suddenly engulfed in a hug.
"Naruto, I'm so glad you are alright." Narumi started crying.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Using my chakra is just very straining, that's all."
Naruto looked around the room and noticed three other figures: the hokage, the nurse, and the weasel-masked Anbu.
"He seems to be okay now. But we have made a discovery about his chakra."
"Is it okay if there are any problems with his chakra?" The hokage asked worriedly.
"This may be good, and this may be bad. His chakra is extremely strong and is the strongest I have ever seen, and I do not even believe it is humanly possible to have so much chakra. It is very powerful and potent; however, using the chakra causes cellular damage. The chakra does have an innate healing ability, but when used too much or not properly, it can cause damage. Severe damage could occur. He is already healed by his chakra healing ability; however, I recommend that if he were to use chakra if he wanted to become a shinobi, he get trained to be able to use the powerful chakra without damaging himself. However, he is free to go." The nurse advised
"Ok, Narumi, Naruto, and Weasel, I would like you to visit the Hokage office tomorrow. Ok"
"Ok!" all three exclaimed.
"How long have I been in the hospital?"
"About 3 days, Naruto. Narumi recovered in a day due to chakra exhaustion. Unlucky, there was not too much damage.
"Ok Hokage-Sama. Just another thing to add is that we got kicked out of the orphanage."
"Why? "What happened, Naruto?" Hiruzen was visibly angry at the next thing he heard.
"They kicked us out for no reason. I was just playing with some toys with Narumi, and we both got kicked out."
Hiruzen sighed. There was not much he could do.
"Naruto, Narumi. I will give you an apartment and an allowance to live on. I am deeply sorry for the stupidity of the villagers."
"Do you know why they hate us, Gigi?" Narumi looked up at Hiruzen, hoping for an answer.
"Unfortunately, I do not know Narumi."
Naruto was secretly pissed off. He asked the same question to Hiruzen in the previous timeline, but he always hid it. Even though he now knows the reason for this, he is always slightly pissed off by the Hokage's decision-making. It led to Naruto living a horrible life in the previous timeline and now another horrible life in this timeline, with Narumi being affected the most.
Hiruzen rented an apartment for the two and gave the keys to both Naruto and Narumi.
As Naruto and Narumi were making their way home, Narumi asked a question.
"What was that masked man doing there?" Narumi's voice was still shaky from the recent incident.
"That man is an Anbu. Anbu are high-ranking ninjas under the direct command of the Hokage who carry out important missions. He was the one who saved us and killed the mob. I saw him while I was being attacked.
Naruto grimaced as he realised why the Hokage wanted to meet with him tomorrow. He unintentionally showed his Kinsharingan to Itachi, though he doubted Itachi would know it evolved from the Sharingan as they look dramatically different as the Kinsharingan has a golden, tenseigan-like eye. What he did know is that Itachi now knows he has a dojutsu, and that may cause some problems.
Narumi looked down, remembering the events that had occurred. It was a long day for the two.
