Also, before I go onto the chapter, I figured I would try something a little different with this chapter and kind of sew up some of the loose ends regarding the episodes that I never wound up putting into writing. In other words, I am going to use this chapter to write almost every single one that i didn't write about leading up to this point into one single chapter. I have also decided to do something unique with this chapter, something that I don't think that any other writer has tried to do while writing about this anime. I am going to be including the four clow cards in this chapter that were never featured in the actual anime, and turn them into actual episodes, or at least try my best to anyway. Now with that out of the way it is time to move on to the 28th chapter.
Chapter 28: A Trip Down Memory Lane
Location: In Me And Sakura's Bedroom
Time: Later That Night After The String Incident With Li And Madison In The Town Square
Things for the moment had once again returned to normal. And while Sakura and I were sitting on our respective beds, I decided, that for reasons of nostalgia, to go over to the desk, open the book that had the clow and star cards in them, and begin browsing through them. It was when I happened upon the Song card, that had been recently transformed by Sakura and I into a star card, that I started to reminisce about what would be the first of many flashbacks.

Time: During The Capturing Of The Song Card
It was not the most difficult of captures, but neither was it easy. This was largely due to the fact that both Sakura and I needed Madison's singing in order to draw out the song card spirit in order to give both of us the best chance to seal it. And once the song card spirit had revealed itself, Sakura and I raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Song Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that the Song card was sealed.

I then moved to the next card in the stack which happened to be the Little card, and once again, I started to reminisce about how it had been captured and sealed.

Location: Somewhere In The House
Time: During The Capture Of The Little Card
Once Sakura and I grabbed the Little card spirit, we were once again returned to our normal sizes. And before it could happen again, we quickly picked up our respective keys, "key of clow, power of magic, power of light, surrender the wand, the force ignite, release!" Sakura and I chanted in unison. With our respective staffs now in hand, we quickly raised them, "we command you to return to your power confined, Little card!" Sakura and I chanted as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that, the Little card was sealed.

I then moved to the next card in the stack, which happened to be the Mirror card, and once again, I started to reminisce about how it had been captured and sealed.

Time: During The Capturing Of The Mirror Card
Tori lay on the ground unconscious as both Sakura and I stood side by side, our respective staffs clenched in our hands, looking at duplicates of each of us. And once the Mirror card had revealed its true form, and went over to an unconcious Tori, and said something that neither Sakura or myself could hear. We both then raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Mirror Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that the Mirror card was sealed.

I then moved to the next card in the stack, which happened to be the Maze card, and just like before, I began to reminisce.

Time: During The Capturing Of The Maze Card
It had been a harrowing day for Sakura, myself, Li, and Melin, as we found ourselves trapped in a maze that seemingly had no solution or exit. Both Sakura and I had already tried using the Sword card to cut away one of the maze wall, only to have it grow right back. We had also tried to use the Fly card to try and fly above the maze to try and look for the exit, but that plan didn't work either. It was only after Ms. Mackenzie wound up finding us and had used a strange metallic antique that she had with her on the maze walls that we all were finally able to escape the maze. However, once we all had escaped, the maze tried to reform itself, but thankfully, both Sakura and I quickly raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Maze Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison, and with that, the Maze card was sealed.

The next card in the stack happened to be the Return Card, and once again, I began to reminisce.

After having endured a travel back to the past, Sakura and I took a second to get our bearings, and once we had done so, we turned to face the Return card spirit, and raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Return Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison, and with that, the Return card was sealed, which wound up going to Li.

The next card in the stack happened to be the Shot card, and I once again began to reminisce.

Location: Roof Of The School
Time: During The Fight And Capture Of The Shot Card
After finally figuring out that Melin was in possession of the Shot card, Sakura, myself and Li rushed to the school to try and prevent her from doing something foolish. However, as Li struggled to try and get the card back from Melin, things then got out of hand. "Hey, back off Li, the Shot card is mine!" Melin yelled. "Oh great, she said its name out loud!" I said with complete terror and nervousness in my voice, knowing full well that by her doing so that she had activated it. And it was only after a fight with the Shot card spirit that seemed to go on for ever, that it was only stopped when Sakura and I decided to use the Mirror card to bounce the Shot card spirit off of the reflection of the sun. Once the Shot card spirit had been tired out, Sakura and I raised our respective staffs. "We command you to return to your power confined, Shot Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison. And with that, the Shot card was sealed.

The next card in the stack happened to be the Sweet card, and this one I remembered for a special reason. Because it was the capture that would wind up with me and Li starting to trust each other, have the both of us start putting our differences aside, and start to become friends.
Location: At The School
Time: During The Capture Of The Sweet Card
It was just one of those days that you would just have to experience yourself to believe it. During a cooking class earlier in the day, it was discovered that everyone's cakes were coming out way too sweet. And upon choosing to investigate while no one else was there. It was discovered that the Sweet card had been responsible. And although I wasn't a fan of having Li tag along with both Sakura and I, I decided that at some point you have to learn to trust your allies, even if you don't agree with how they act sometimes. It was after Li had poured salt onto the Sweet card spirit that Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Sweet Card!" we chanted in unison. And with that the Sweet card was sealed, and from that point on, I began to trust Li more as he did the same with me, until eventually, the both of us became friends.

The next card in the stack happened to be the Dash Card. This card originally went to Li, and from what I remember about it, it wasn't an easy one to figure out where it was, let alone capture it. Which was why the Dash card wound up going to Li.
The next cards in the stack happened to be the Big card and the Create card. These I remembered for a whole different reason. Because it was not only having to deal with one clow card, it was having to then use that clow card to amplify your size to capture another.

Location: Somewhere On The Outskirts Of The City
Time: During The Capture Of The Create Card And A Short Time After The Capture Of The Big Card
It had been a long and harrowing night. Not only had Sakura and I had to capture The Big card while once again wearing another one of Madison's battle costumes, but now, we were being told by Kero that another clow card had just revealed itself, The Create card. And when a huge dragon wound up appearing out of seemingly nowhere, both Sakura and I then got a sickening feeling in our stomachs, both of us knowing all too well of the only clow card that was able to stand up to a dragon. "It'll be okay, just remember that dragons aren't real" Madison said, trying to comfort the both of us. I then hesitantly pulled out the Big card, turned to Sakura, who hesitantly nodded, and we both then raised our respective staffs, "Big card, make us grow, big card, release and dispell!" and within seconds, the both of us grew to 50 feet tall. And once both Sakura and I had made our way over to the dragon and grabbed its tail in an effort to stop it from making it to the city and having it cause damage to it, the dragon suddenly started to disappear. It was then Sakura and I then raised our respective now gigantic staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Create Card!" Sakura and I chanted as we swung our staffs down at the same time, but this time, a microscopic card halve formed on the tips of our now gigantic staffs, and with that, the Create Card was sealed.

The next card in the stack happened to be the Change Card. And, from what I recalled, it had caused Li and Kero to literally switch bodies.

Time: The Day After The Capturing Of The Change Card
It was after realizing that the Change card had literally caused both Kero and Li to switch bodies, and after an entire issue had happened at school. Both Sakura and I decided that it was finally time to set everything right again. And with that in mind, I pulled out the Change card, and Sakura and I raised our respective staffs, "Change card, come to our aid, Change Card, release and dispel!" Sakura and I chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down and hit the Change card at the same time with the tips our our respective staffs.

The next card in the stack was the Freeze Card. This one also originally went to Li. However, this was one that I felt that he deserved. Since he had done a great deal in helping Sakura and I hold our own in that capture.

Time: During The Capture Of The Freeze Card
This fight on ice was getting completely out of hand. Sakura had been almost completely frozen once, and Li had had to break her free. And on top of all that, the three of us had to be constantly moving about the rink so that we could keep ourselves safe from the Freeze card spirit that lurked beneath the ice. It was only after the Freeze card temporarily showed itself after Sakura had a brilliant idea to 'break the ice', that both Sakura and I then finally took our chance and raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Freeze Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that the Freeze Card was sealed, but instead, wound up in Li's hand rather than ours. But, I found it to be one that he had very much deserved, seeing as how he had kept Sakura out of harms way.

The next cards in the stack were the Bubbles, Wave, Libra, Arrow, and Through cards, and yet, although I remembered the Arrow Card more than the others. And, this was largely due to the fact that that particular capture, among other events, wound up taking the both of us, along with everyone else, on a journey to Hong Kong. However, this was a story for another day. It was then that I began to reminisce about the Bubbles, Wave, Libra and Through cards and how they had been captured and sealed.

Location: On The Roof Of The School
Time: At Night During The Capture Of The Bubbles Card
It had just been one of those days hadn't it? After sensing an unusual presence at the school earlier that morning, Kero told us that it was in fact a Clow card. So, later that night, Sakura and I, accompanied by Li, went to the school to investigate. And it wasn't long until we were confronted by a swarm of pink colored bubbles. It was when we were on the school roof after a chase that seemed to last forever, that Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Bubbles Card" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time, and with that, the Bubbles Card was captured.

Time: During The Capture Of The Wave Card
Why oh why did freakishly high waves have to be at the beach today? That seemed to be the question going through my mind as Sakura and I, along with Li, played at the beach. However, it was when Kero told us that it was the work of a clow card that Sakura and I then set about capturing it. "we command you to return to your power confined, Wave Card" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that, the Wave Card was captured.

Time: At Night During The Capture Of The Libra Card
It really was just a case of deja vu as Sakura and I made our way into the library in search of the Libra Card, after we had been told by Kero that a strange ornament that we had found hanging from one of the bookshelves happened to be a Clow Card. Thankfully, no one was there at the time, and it was when we found the Libra Card spirit that Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs. "We command you to return to your power confined, Libra Card!" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that, the Libra Card was captured.

Location: At The Towns Park
Time: At Night During The Capture Of The Through Card
Man, now this was just plain weird. Sakura and I were having a really tough time dealing with a clow card known as the Through Card, that seemed to be able to pass through just about anything we could throw at it. And it was only when I came up with the idea to use the Maze Card to entrap it, that we were finally able to outsmart it. And with that, Sakura and I raised our respective staffs. "We command you to return to your power confined, Through Card" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that, the Through Card was captured.

The next card in the stack, after I had glanced over the Fire Card, happened to be the Snow Card. And this one stuck out at me as well, I mean, how could one easily forget 3 feet of snow falling in such a short amount of time in a single day.

Time: During The Capture Of The Snow Card
It was after Kero, Sakura, Li and I had escaped the swirling vortex of snow, that Sakura suddenly realized that she was missing her watch from her wrist, which had been given to her as a present. It was then that Sakura looked back at me, Li and Kero with a determined look on her face, and also a hint of anger, "We're using the Fire Card!" she said as we all found our way onto the entrance structure to the park. And with great haste, Sakura pulled out the Fire Card. Without wanting to challenge her actions, seeing the mood Sakura was currently in, I raised my respective staff, as did she. "Fire Card, come to our aid, use your power to melt all the snow, Fire Card, Release and Dispel!" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down and hit the Fire Card at the same time with the tips of our respective staffs. And once the Snow Card spirit was seen being chased by the Fire Card spirit, Sakura and I once again raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Snow Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison as we once again swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that the Snow Card was captured. "Well, now we know what happens when Sakura gets mad" Kero said. "And I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end when she's like that" I said in a somewhat nervous tone of voice.

The next card in the stack was the Voice Card. This one was unique for the fact that not only was it the time that Madison had quite literally had her voice stolen from her. But, it also required Li, Sakura and I, to think in a very unique way in order to draw out the card, in order to give ourselves the best chance of capturing it.

Location: Inside Of A Building
Time: Some Time After The Voice Card Spirit Stole Madison's Voice
It was really becoming a real head scratcher for the three of us. Not only had Madison literally had her voice stolen by a Clow Card, but we now had to think of a way to draw it out and get Madison's voice back in time for her to sing at the school's festival. It was then that Sakura had an idea to use the Song Card, since it had copied Madison's voice when we had captured it, to sing in an effort to draw out the Voice Card spirit. I then pulled out the Song Card, and Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs, "Song card, come to our aid, Song card, Release and Dispel!" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down and hit the Song card at the same time with the tips of our respective staffs. Once the Song card spirit appeared, and started singing in Madison's voice, it didn't take that long at all for the Voice card spirit to appear. Thankfully, before it could escape, Li used his element talismans to seal off the windows so that it couldn't escape. Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Voice Card!" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that, the Voice Card was sealed.

The next card in the stack was the Lock Card. This one was particularly difficult to capture. And this was largely due to the fact that during the time that Sakura, myself, and everyone else were imprisoned in a room by the card, we couldn't rely on Kero to give us any information on how to seal it.
Location: In A Room On A Berry Farm
Time: During The Capture Of The Lock Card
It was just a very dire situation. Neither Sakura or myself could get hold of Kero so that he could give us any information regarding the Lock Card, that unfortunately, had locked not just the two of us in a room, but Li and Melin as well. It was only when I came up with the idea to have both myself and Sakura insert both of our respective keys in both keyholes of the door that the true form of the Lock Card spirit finally revealed itself. Sakura and I then took our respective keys out of the doors keyholes, "key of clow, power of magic, power of light, surrender the wand, the force ignite, Release!" we chanted in unison. With our respective staffs now in hand, we then raised them, "we command you to return to your power confined, Lock Card!" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that, the Lock Card was sealed.

The next card in the stack was the Cloud Card. This one was also unique, largely since Sakura at the time was a little under the weather, and if it weren't for Melin helping us, we wouldn't have been able to capture it.

This situation was starting too look really really bad. Not only was Sakura feeling under the weather, but she was even having a rough time standing up straight as the both of us stood on the roof of the building, as both Li and Melin stood behind us. "Sakura, I you need to focus, I really need your help here if we are going to capture this card" I said with a severe hint of worry in my voice. "Element, Lightning, Come To My Aid!" Li said as he used his lightning element talisman to draw out the Cloud Card spirit. It was then that I raised my respective staff. However, as Sakura attempted to raised hers, she began to falter slightly. Melin then came behind her and decided to support her. It was then that I decided that thanks to Melin's help, Sakura would be stable enough to help the both of us seal the Cloud Card. It was then that me and Sakura, who now had the help and support of Melin behind her, raised our respective staffs, "we command you to return to your power confined, Cloud Card!" Sakura and I chanted as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. And with that, the Cloud Card was captured.

The final cards in the stack were the Dream, Sand, Light, Dark, and Twin Cards. The Dream Card originally went to Li. However, when my eyes happened upon the Sand Card, I then started to remember the last of my remaining flashbacks.

Sand, why did it have to be sand. That seemed to be the question going though my mind as Li, Sakura and I continuously flew across the school grounds on both of our respective winged staffs, with Li hitching a ride on Sakura's winged staff, whilst dodging a huge wave of sand that seemed to chase after us with malign intent. And it was only once Li used the Freeze Card to freeze the sand, that Sakura and I then finally touched back down on the ground, and then raised our respective staffs. "We command you to return to your power confined, Sand Card!" we chanted in unison, and with that the Sand Card was captured.

Location: In The Dark Void Of What Used To Be The Schools Auditorium
Time: During The Capture Of The Light And Dark Cards
It seemed like it had been an eternity since the darkness had surrounded both Sakura and I. However, it dawned on us that even though we were in total darkness, we both seemed to be glowing. It was then that the both of us realized that it wasn't just the Dark Card that was behind this, but the Light Card as well. And once the Light Card spirit had revealed its true form along with that of the Dark Card, Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs, "Light and Dark Cards, we command you to return to your power confined, Light and Dark!" we chanted in unison as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time. However, just before both the Light and Dark card spirits disappeared and became clow cards once more, they had told the both of us about the Final Judgment, and that it would come from someone named Yue. And although neither of us knew of it at the time, that was the first mention of what would be a test. A test that once all of the clow cards had been captured, would wind up testing both Sakura and myself to the best of our ability, in order to see if we were both worthy of carrying the title of masters of the clow cards. Happily, and thankfully, we both managed to pass, and we both got newly transformed staffs as a result.

Time: In The Evening During The Capture Of The Twin Card
It really was a case of double trouble wasn't it? Apparently Sakura and I were confronted with a clow card that had the ability to duplicate anything. But that was the least of our worries. When we first had attempted to capture the Twin Card spirit, it had failed, spectacularly. And that was due to the fact that we had tried to capture only one of the halves of the Twin Card spirit. Thankfully, with the help of Li and Melin, Sakura and I finally got the Twin Card spirit tired out enough to where we were now able to capture it. Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs "we command you to return to your power confined, Twin Card!" we chanted in unison, and with that, the Twin Card was sealed.

It was after my last flashback had ended and I had placed the last of the cards back in the book, that I heard Sakura ask me what I was doing. "Oh nothing, just reminiscing of our past adventures, that's all" I said as I closed the cover of the book. "Oh, well, I think it's about time for us to go to bed, we have school tomorrow" Sakura said. "Oh, right" I said in response as I headed over and tucked myself into my respective bed, to which Sakura then did the same, and then turned off the light. And, as we both drifted off to sleep, we both dreamed of what new adventures would lie ahead for the both of us.
