Realms colliding
Worlds combining
Lives being lost in the dimensions of great magnitude
I thought we were strong
I thought we could win
I thought we could survive all of this. . .together.

Kai's POV
"But Master Wu, what about you?"
"Don't worry about me, Kai!" he called to me. "I'll be okay."
"Ok? Our world is collapsing, Master!"
"But that doesn't mean we should give up—"
And raging winds battered on the Destiny's Bounty, making it hard for me to have a good grip of Master Wu.
"I—I need help!" I called.
Cole and Jay quickly rushed to my side, taking each of them an arm of Master Wu. The winds blew harder and harder every moment, and I could feel the ship straining to avoid the wild, dangerous center of the storm, where the Realms were merging non-stop.
"Lloyd?! Nya!? What's going on?" I asked desperately.
"We're getting closer to the center!" Jay added.
"I know!" Nya answered. "I'm trying to steer away—" and she grunted and turned the steering wheel of the Bounty, but the ship only moved closer.
"The gravity's pulling us in!" Lloyd exclaimed. "We need to get Master Wu in, now!"
Cole, Jay and I pulled harder than ever before, but we were only able to pull Master Wu in by inches. Zane, seeing our struggle, started pulling Wu in as well. Lloyd's right, the storm was pulling us into the destructive eye of its hurricane.
Suddenly, those same, wild winds sent a gush of their strongest winds at us, pulling Cole, Jay, Zane, and Master Wu with it.
"NOOOOOOO!!"
I saw Cole disappear behind the chaos of the Merge, followed by Jay and Master Wu. Zane flew past, trying to use his Elemental power to propel himself through the winds, but that only made it worse, and he was only flying himself closer to the center of the storm.
"Zane!" I called. "Cole, Jay, Master Wu, I'm coming for you!" I ran to the steering wheel and was about to take the wheel when Nya grabbed my arm.
"Kai! We can't! We just can't, not now!"
"What do mean 'not now'?" I turned to her, hot tears burning my cheeks as it poured. "They're going to be lost in there!"
"I know, Kai! I know!" Nya exclaimed. "We need find a way to rescue them or else we'll get lost in the storm, too!"
At that moment, that same gush of wind blew again, piercing my eyes that I could not see. I felt the winds twirl us mid-air, spinning us until we were dizzy. They kept spinning us and spinning us, wind battering on our faces, until. . .we finally stopped.
It was still windy, but everything has calmed down: the storm was over. I looked over the rails of the ship, hoping I could see a glimpse of Cole, or Zane or Jay, o-or Master Wu; but there was nothing except debris and debris and more debris from the chaos.
"No, no, no! It can't be!" I backed away from the railings in denial. "They can't be gone."
"You're speaking nonsense, Kai." It was Nya.
"What do you mean? You said we'll rescue them later."
"That's what I thought, then," Nya stated sadly. "Look," and she pointed towards the horizon, and what was supposed to be the skyscrapers of Ninjago was desert sand, and the palace of the Never Realm in its midst. "Doesn't that remind you of something?"
"The Never-Realm," Lloyd spoke. I forgot Lloyd was with us. "But it's a desert."
"Exactly. This is not Ninjago anymore."
Soft breeze turned into howling winds, hitting our faces. Why is the wind always forcing us to cry?
My eyes widened in realization. "If we're not in Ninjago. . ."
"They're gone." Nya whispered through the discouraging howls of the wind, drying the salty beads in her eyes. "Lost, somewhere. Maybe where death reigns."
"They're gone," That's all too familiar saying. Zane said that when we lost Cole to the Darkness. No, it can't happen again! I told myself. I don't want to lose Cole — and everyone else — again. We can't lose anyone anymore!
I plopped on my knees in defeat, indescribable emotions being poured out in tears more prominent than before. "Why does this have to happen? Why them? Why Cole? Why Jay? Why Zane? Why Master Wu? Why does this have to be them? Why?"
