A lion faunus named Toshinori Yagi stood at the shoreline whilst staring at the ocean with a determined gaze. Without looking at the woman five feet away from him, he said, "I want to make a world where everyone, both Humans and Faunus, can smile and live together." He glanced over and added quickly. "A symbol is necessary for that to happen."
The woman arched a brow in interest. "A symbol?" She repeated. "What kind of symbol?"
She was a beautiful woman with a tough demeanor. She was a tall woman with a curvaceous figure, and at the same time, she was well-built. She was fair-skinned and had a small mole below her bottom lip, centered to the right, and sharp, intelligent eyes with long eyelashes. Her hair was dark and straight, kept shoulder-length, with the exception of a clump of short bangs hanging above her forehead, and was usually styled in a half-up-half-down bun.
Her costume consisted of a dark, sleeveless bodysuit with a high collar, yellow elbow-length gloves, and white knee-high boots. Around her waist was a belt with an angular golden buckle, a small cape attached around the back which hung down to her knees, and over her shoulders was a longer cape, buttoned to the shoulders of her bodysuit.
"A Symbol of Peace," Toshinori stated, "something that will bring them both joy, and hope." Right hand brought up to his face as he stared. His eyes narrowed before bawling said hand to a fist. "The reason crime in Vale isn't decreasing is that the citizens have no support. They have no pillar they can rely on." He turned to face the woman who was looking at him with a raised eyebrow. "That's why, I will become that pillar."
The woman nodded thoughtfully. After a moment of silence, she said, "I see. Is that why you want to be a hero? Even though you're not a Huntsman?"
"Yes." Toshinori responded with conviction.
Silence stretched again between the two. A light breeze ruffled through their clothes and hair. After a few minutes the woman chuckled.
"Toshinori Yagi, is that right?" The woman placed her hands on her hips and smirked at him. "You're really funny…and crazy."
