Amity woke up in a dark room.
One big dark room. Last thing she remembered was reuniting with her family and friends after Belos was vanquished, reuniting with Luz.
So how on earth did she get back to a dark room as big as the archives?
She looked around, at least no one she knows turned into puppets.
"Hello? Who is it? Why am I here? Where are my friends?" Amity asked cautiously, slowly getting up to her feet. She tried not to panic too much, but it was a little late for that. As far as she could see, there was nothing around here, not one person.
But suddenly, there was an echoing sound behind her. "Ah…hello. Amity. It's me."
Amity gasped in fear. Who was that? Luz? No. The voice was too masculine and deep, and...evil...
"Well," he sounded slightly annoyed. "I have never claimed to be an expert on immediate introductions." He laughed, sounding very sinister and threatening. His voice came from behind her.
Amity turned around. In the distance, she saw something that made her mouth go dry: A figure walking towards her.
"Who are you?! What do you want from me?!" Amity said, getting more terrified. She felt a shiver down her spine, "Belos?"
"Close, but no, if I were, I would waste no time doing this." The figure said, casually before throwing something at Amity's feet. And much to her horror, it was the decapitated head of her girlfriend, Luz Noceda, pouring blood from it's gaping hole in the neck, or what's left of it.
Amity shrieked in horror, scrambling backwards away from the head before the figure threw the headless corpse. Then she looked over to where her friend lay. Judging by her look, Luz was in Titan Form when she was decapitated, this monster was powerful enough to kill her while she was in her powerful form.
"Luz!" Amity screamed. Tears poured down her face as she ran to her dead girlfriend's side.
She was going crazy. There was no way. There had to be some kind of mistake. Or a sick joke? Wasn't Luz a Titan? Was Luz really dead?! Had Amity killed her? This can't be happening.
"That," The figure said, revealing his glowing red eyes. "Was REALLY tame compared to what I did to everyone in Bonesburough, you should've seen what I've done with Eda and her sister. Very easy to skin them alive while they were in cursed form."
"You...you ruthless, heartless...BASTARD!" Amity said, angrily as tears streamed down her face. "What kind of person with so little humanity would do those horrible things?!"
"You know, if I had an ounce of humanity left in me, I would regret doing this. But of course, I surrendered my Human half a LONG time ago." The figure shrugged, stepping into the light, slowly revealing himself. Amity was getting more frightened as she released her dead girlfriend's disembodied head.
"What kind of monster are you?" Amity gulped.
"Me? A monster? No. I'm not a devil either," The figure said, finally revealing himself.
In front of her stood the most terrifying man she had ever witnessed. It was taller and much bulkier and more muscular male than anything she's ever seen. He has snow-white flaming hair with a ponytail, light turquoise skin, and red eyes with dark lines around them. He has pointed ears, fangs, and a goatee. He wears a black jumpsuit with a white trim, a white belt, black gloves, white boots, and his logo, a white "D" with a black "P" inside it, on his chest. He wears a cape which is white on the outside and black on the inside.
The man finished, "I am a God."
Amity blinked.
"A...god?" she muttered weakly, shaking as she got closer to the towering man. "No...that's impossible."
"It is possible. There were many gods before Belos, and I happened to be one of them, but that's nothing compared to when I found out about Bill."
"Bill?" Amity said, confused. She let it sink in after digging into her brain for memories and knowledge. She then gasps in horror, "CIPHER!"
"Don't worry, he's dead, vanquished by some idiot named Stanley back in '86." Dan said, annoyed. "But once those gems get to the human realm, I'll be able to succeed where HE failed."
Amity blinked once more in confusion, but it wasn't long until it clicked in her mind. "Wait a minute..what did you say? You're talking about The Gems, right?"
Dan chuckled, "Yes, Amity. I'm sure you know of them?"
Amity nodded, "Well, very little, but I've only heard of them from my father, all I know from him is that they're powerful artifacts that Bill made before he was banished."
"Not just powerful artifacts. Reality Warping Artifacts." Dan said, smiling wickedly. "Each of the Reality Gems have a power far beyond your wildest dreams and nightmares."
Amity gulped. "And... what are they?" She couldn't help but ask, still a little shaken up from the fact Dan was actually real.
"There are eight gems." Dan explained. "The Red Ruby is the Gem of Life, it could make inanimate objects come alive. The Yellow Topaz is the Gem of Form, it could turn anything into anything else. The Light Blue Sapphire is the Gem of Fantasy. It could make your dreams come true. The Collector had both of those before giving them away after Belos was defeated." Amity shuddered, at least that explains how The Collector was able to turn people in the demon realm into puppets.
Dan continued, "Then there is a Mid-dark blue Lapis, the Gem of Time, it could slow down time, pause it, or speed it up, basically like a remote control for a VCR. Clockwork has it right now. And this one was created by some alcoholic mad scientist named... Rick... This Green Peridot is the Gem of Space, it could take you anywhere in the Multiverse or the Universe. An Orange Jasper is the Mind Gem, it could read thoughts, or control minds, but with a magical element combined with Blood Blossoms, it could control a Ghost's Mind, which explains how Freakshow was able to control his posse of ghosts and me for a brief moment of time. And then, there's a purple Amythest, it could duplicate an object an infinite amount of times."
After hearing that, Amity rolled her eyes in annoyance, if she had the Gem, there could have been two of her, one that could be the daughter her mother, Odalia, wanted and the other could live her own life without the Blight family controlling her.
Dan finished, "And my personal favorite, the Diamond of Power. It could increase your powers by tenfold, making you overpowered and invincible. Three Gems are enough to allow the holder of the gems to control all of reality in the Milky Way Galaxy, but eight gems will grant me the power to not only control the Universe's Reality but restart Weirdmageddon." He smirked evilly.
"No..." Amity said, horrified. She heard about the stories about Weirdmageddon from her mother and Eda, but she hoped to never actually live them out. Now she's starting to understand why Dan is willing to do these things. This could end badly if he gets his hands on the gems. That means that he could have the power to destroy the world once he brings about genocide, and Weirdmageddon.
"Yes... I just came here to remind you to stay out of my way while I make sure destiny arrives." Dan glared at Amity. "Otherwise, I'm gonna see to it that no matter what you do, you and everyone you love and care about will pay the price for you butting your nose into where it doesn't belong."
"No..." Amity said, getting over this and glaring at Dan with fury. "I'll stop you!"
"Oh, trust me, Amity Blight. You can't stop me from solidifying my place as ruler of this universe or obtaining the Reality Gems." Dan rolls his eyes. "It'd be funny to see you try, cute even. Because the chosen ones will slip up, and when they do..."
Suddenly, Dan inhaled deeply and when he opened his mouth and exhaled, he created an ultrasound wave and there a transparent green color between each wave, but it was so strong, it sent Amity flying to the wall, groaning and grunting in pain as her ears bled. This powerful attack was causing the whole place to crumble and collapse onto itself. The entire cave shook violently, rocks fell from the ceiling, and dust filled the air as the room collapsed and was destroyed.
Amity, who luckily survived not being buried alive out of luck, looked through the debris, trying to spot Dan, as she felt dizzy and her body is burning in pain.
Her eyes widened as she saw something horrifying instead:
Her entire home in the Demon Realm, destroyed, and all that's left of it was nothing but debris, and mountains of mutilated corpses of creatures, witches and warlocks, monsters and mortals.
And the worst part was that every single soul, human and monster alike, died horribly. They suffered terribly, agonizing screams filling the sky, blood splattered everywhere, the bodies of their friends and loved ones ripped apart with teeth and claws. The skies now a sickly dark green with a Giant, Glowing Lime Green X in the skies.
This is a nightmare, this is a nightmare, this is a nightmare! She thought frantically, desperately hoping that this isn't real, and this is a sick dream. She couldn't believe this was real. She couldn't imagine this was actually happening.
All she could do is watch as Dan floats above it all, fists glowing green, sadistically smiling.
It didn't take long for Amity to stand back up again, shouting, "NO! Leave me alone! You have no dominion over any realms!"
"Maybe not right now, but things change, Amity Blight. For better or worse." Dan taunted, laughing as he flew away.
"Noo!" Amity screamed as her eyes flew wide open to find herself on the couch at Eda's home. As she panted, the witch blinked a few times as her eyes were still watery. Touching her face, she saw her fingers were covered in tear stains.
"I-It was...a dream?..." Amity's mind was trying to register that fact, but it felt so real to her...a few more tears streamed down her cheeks as she continued to sit in fetal position, curled up, if tempted, she was close to sucking her thumb like she used to when she was a baby, but she resisted the urge and instead shuddered before going back to hyperventilating.
Rubbing her half tired eyes, the Owl Lady and her apprentice heard light whimpering coming from her roommate.
Luz, glancing at her girlfriend, she called out. "Amity?...You okay?"
"N-No..." Was the meek reply she got.
Eda knew that type of fear anywhere, she's read about things like this in the past. "Oh, no. He's coming."
