Hi! Here's another story. I posted my first one just after the new year 2023 but I had a different name. For those of you who read my previous story, you knew my previous name, but now it's changed to something I like better. So, here's the story—it's my very first crossover
I do not own any of the characters from Ninjago or Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. (Also, Harumi is a good guy in this story, for those of you who watch(ed) Ninjago).
"Let's go, Jay!" Kai shouted as he threw away his pudding cup, while Jay was nursing his own, "We're going to be late for the flight."
"Coming, coming, coming. Just give me a sec," Jay spooned pudding into his mouth, quicker now, "Relax, Kai. Nya's still in the shower and Zane and Pixel are still packing. At least all I must do left is get dressed."
"Whatever. Our flight leaves in 2 hours. We've got to be at the airport by 7 (am)."
"Fine, I'll hurry." Jay literally drank his pudding, slugged down some water and threw away the pudding cup.
Kai was already in his room. He knew he was forgetting something. Sunscreen! He wrestled to his small bathroom and selected a 60+ bottle of sunscreen and threw it into his luggage. Kai pulled on jeans and a button-down shirt. He chucked his water flask onto his backpack and headed to the bathroom to brush his teeth and comb his hair. Boy was he ready to get some sun! Kai tucked away all his belongings, made his bed, threw on some sunglasses, and headed to the front gates. He lugged his baggage to the front of the gates and sat on his luggage to wait for the others.
Jay dressed into jeans and threw on a baggy sweatshirt. He zipped up his luggage and backpack after throwing in a couple of books and his water bottle. He fastened a watch on his right wrist before exiting his room. Jay dragged his bags to the kitchen, grabbed a bag of cookies, and headed for the front gates where Kai would be waiting.
Nya dressed in bell bottoms, an elbow length undershirt, and a leather jacket to go over it. Nya blew dried her hair and fastened it into a ponytail. She applied a little make up and headed for the door. Since all Nya's bags were packed the previous night, all Nya had to do was lug them out to the front gates.
Zane tossed a bandana and a pair of socks into his trunk, "Hey, Pix. Could you hand me that hat?"
"Sure," Pixel said, standing up to fulfil Zane's need, "Which one, the blond or black one?" Pixel held up two fashionable men's hats for Zane to choose.
"I'll obviously take the blond one because black attracts heat. I need none of that in Hawaii."
"I get you." Pixel nodded and handed Zane the hat.
"Ready to go?" Zane popped on his shoes and sunglasses and helped Pixel with her bags before gathering his own luggage.
"As ready as I can be." She started toward the door.
Cole was ready before any of the ninjas awoke. His bags were up front already by Kai, so he could spend the rest of the morning lounging, waiting for the other ninjas to finish their bags. Cole unpeeled a ripe banana and bit into its soft texture. His mouth flooded with saliva. He would be tasting the fluffy, creamy, spongey textures and flavors of fresh, tropical Hawaiian fruit all week. Boy was Cole ready.
Lloyd zipped his luggage and grabbed an apple from the kitchen table. He threw a flask of ice water into his backpack and progressed to the training yard. He stepped into the brisk, sunny day that welcomed him with a gentle breeze. Lloyd walked over to a punching bag and threw a few kicks, then he walked back to his luggage and sat down by Kai.
"Well, are we ready, then?" Sensei Wu stride down the steps of the monastery, carrying a pot of tea. Both Skylor and Harumi were behind him, hauling what looked to be their own and Sensei Wu's bags.
"Yes, Sensei, we are ready." Zane stood up and grabbed the handles of his own luggage. The other ninjas followed.
"Let's go, then, shall we?" Sensei Wu opened the front gates and they all walked down the spiral steps down the mountain, lugging all their baggage, "A ride will be waiting for us at the bottom."
The party of ten arrived at the ride and got in. It was a huge taxi van that could fit over ten people, but it wasn't a limo.
Jay checked his watch, "1 and a ½ hours till' our flight leaves. We must hurry."
"Oh, brother. I told you we should've woken up earlier. Now we might not make it." Kai said, furious.
"Stop worrying, Kai. We'll be fine." Nya giggled.
Kai huffed and sat back.
Twenty minutes later, the van arrived at the airport. The ten got out of the van and paid the guy that drove them. After which, they headed to the entrance.
After security, dealing with baggage, and passports. . .
Everyone walked to their gate number and settled for the next half hour before boarding their flight.
"I'm going to get something to eat. Anyone want to come?" Nya stood up.
"I'll go!" Cole bounced up from his seat.
"I'll come too," Skylor smiled, "Could use the exercise."
"Alright, perfect. Does anybody want anything to eat?"
Most of them shook their heads, but Jay asked for a bagel.
Nya, Skylor, and Cole stopped at a pastry shop to pick up some food. They retrieved Jay's bagel and picked out some food for their own: An almond croissant, a couple of fruit tarts, and an apple turnover.
They headed back to the others and ate for a bit before it was time to board the flight.
"Ready everyone?" Harumi asked, a nervous smile etched upon her face.
Everyone smiled back.
They walked through the echoey tunnel leading to the entrance of the plane.
It was time for an adventure. Nobody could wait.
That's the chapter, y'all! Hopefully you enjoyed it! Chapter 2 should be on soon. I would appreciate feedback in the reviews section. Thanks for reading!
