After a moment or two, Amity was finally calmed down as her friends and father sat down next to her while she drank a cup of coffee while being covered in a blanket wrapped around her. Eda and Lilith were making more coffee. Well, it was Lilith making Coffee and Eda insisting on giving her apple blood.
Eda had a grim look on her face after hearing more about Amity's nightmare and seeing Dan kill all those innocent people, destroying the Boiling Isles and brutally kill Luz in her titan form. But what scared Amity the most was the fact that Eda knew more about this than expected.
"Yeah, that's the Ultimate Enemy alright, someone just as bad, if not, worse than Belos." Eda said, grimly. "He's coming in hot for those Gems soon enough."
"So you know him?" Amity asks Eda, referring to the man in his nightmare.
"Yes, I knew about him...Back when me and Lilith were in Hexside, Principal Bump and our parents warned us of a god like being, dubbed "The Ultimate Enemy" would rise in the near future." Eda said, grim. "That's why my parents and I never let Lilith go anywhere without me by her side when we were kids. He could've risen anytime, but he didn't, thankfully not even when I was cursed. But one day in Fall 2009, I was visited by a ghost named Clockwork, saying that he managed to find a way to prevent the Ultimate Enemy from coming into existence. He had a little help from the Ultimate Enemy's past self, at the time, he helped with this little problem, but somehow he's returned."
"Well, that partially explains on why I dreamt about this guy just now, but I still need answers to how it happened, and for what reason." Amity said, concerned.
"I dunno, sometimes I dream random things that eventually happen, and I'm still fine." Hooty said, happily.
"Nothing really bothers you, does it?" King said, casually and annoyed.
"I don't know, but that's not important, what's important is that somehow, the Ultimate Enemy escaped and managed to communicate with Amity telepathically." Eda said.
"He said something about Weirdmageddon." Amity spoke up. Alador froze up in horror upon hearing that word, he inhaled through his nose.
"Dad?" Amity looked at him in concern. "Are you okay?"
"I...I'm fine." Alador gulped, uneasily. "Just having a slight flashback."
"About Weirdmageddon?" Eda asks.
"How do you know about that?" Amity asks.
"What's going on? What's Weirdmageddon?" Luz asks.
An uneasy Alador said, "It was an apocalyptic event in 1986 that nearly caused the end of the world when Bill Cipher managed to open the gates between the Nightmare Realm and our world. We went through hell, managed to survive with other human teenagers when your mother and I were accidentally stuck there. It was a hell hole to live in for weeks. Fortunately, he alongside with Weirdmageddon was contained in a town in Oklahoma in some sort of Weirdness Bubble. Hell, we're very lucky to be alive because of what Stanford and his brother did to destroy Bill. But whoever this "Ultimate Enemy" is, he's unlike anything you've seen. He makes Belos look like a joke."
Amity shivered with a grave expression on her face.
"But how could this "Ultimate Enemy" know about this "Weirdmageddon"?" Luz said. "And what does he want from the Demon Realm?"
"I don't know, Luz." Amity gulped. "He just warned me to stay out of his way! And it seems like he wants to kill us all!" Then she remembered the nightmare, all the corpses she saw, all the debris, the carnage... She shuddered.
Luz placed a hand on Amity's shoulder, reassuringly. "Don't worry about this, Amity. Whatever it is, we'll put an end to it."
"It's not that simple, Dan's power is beyond the power of your titan form," Eda said, shaking her head. "You'll need more help from the Human Realm soon enough in the future."
"Why can't we just take care of this now?" Amity shouted, angrily.
"You're not powerful enough." Lillith said, sternly. "Even Millions of Luz and Amity at full titan leveled power wouldn't be able to stop this monster." Amity was stunned into silence for several moments, before she sighed and slouched down.
"Well... I guess." Amity huffed.
"I'm sure we'll figure out something later." King says soothingly, patting her back.
"Yeah..." Amity whispered, looking at her hands. "Maybe...maybe not."
"Hey." Luz leaned forward, gently touching her face. "We'll figure something out. You have people who love and care about you, and we're here. I promise." Amity blinked slowly, tears welled up in her eyes, then she smiled slightly at Luz, who wiped away stray tears.
"Thanks." She sniffled, trying her best to hide her pain behind a smile. Luz gave her a soft hug and kissed the top of her forehead.
"Any time, Amity." Her voice was so comforting, and Amity felt herself calm down more as she rested against her.
"I know you will," Amity responded, returning her hug. A few minutes passed before Amity said "Can I get another coffee? I need more caffeine right now." The other teens nodded and got her fresh coffee. Soon enough, she downed the cup and was about to grab another one, but Hooty broke the coffee maker after accidentally pushing it while stretching himself.
"Sorry guys, it's broken again." Hooty said apologetically. "I think this one isn't as sturdy anymore."
"Hooty!" The gang shouted, angrily.
"Hush everyone! Let's fix it first, then we'll yell at him." Eda said. Hooty nodded and they got to work. "Afterwards, we need to go to the Principal's Office to learn more about what's going on with Amity and how the prophecy works for all of us."
