Naruto was sitting on a swing alone, watching the other kids have fun. He was only eight years old but never had a friend. Nobody wanted to play with him and called him names. Naruto never understood why they called him a demon and other names and felt alone and isolated. He wanted to become Hokage so people would unknowledge him and treat him like he was important.

However, a conversation was happening within his seal that contained the nine-tailed fox.

Karuma stared in shock at his father, Hagoromo, the Sage of the Six Paths.

Hagoromo spoke concernedly, "I foresee a power coming that will send you and Naruto to another plain of existence."

Karuma looked at his father in confusion, "What power?"

Hagoromo looked down before regaining eye contact with Kurama, "I am unsure of the origin or the source. I only vaguely can foresee it coming. Kurama, take care of Naruto wherever you may be sent to. Do not let him die, and be kind to the boy."

Kurama was shocked and scared by what his father told him. He couldn't imagine some power taking Naruto and himself to another plain of existence, but he would not doubt the words of the one who gave him life.

Kurama, however, questioned, "Father, you seem very concerned with the well-being of Naruto. May I ask why that is?"

Hagoromo's spiritual form begins to fade, "Naruto is the reincarnation of Asura, my son."

Before Kurama could ask any other questions, Hagoromo's spiritual form dissipated and left Kurama in a state of worry waiting for the inevitable event his father spoke of.

Naruto was swinging back and forth alone, wishing he had somebody that would talk to him or be friends with him. He was treated like a monster, a disease, or a demon. The young Naruto wanted to show the village and the world everyone that thought of him so poorly that he was someone important. Naruto started to shed tears thinking.

I don't understand… nobody likes me, and I never did anything. Why do they look at me like I'm a monster? I just wish I had a friend or a family, somebody that would call me Naruto Uzamakai…

As the day passed on, Naruto walked to his lonely home. The looks of hatred and fear made Naruto feel alone and unloved. He wondered if he would ever be able to make friends or always be an outcast. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness in his heart.

Why? I wish someone would tell me why everyone hates me…

Naruto's eyes began to get hazy as his vision slowly got cloudy, and he saw a purplish color before his eyes closed. When Naruto reopened his eyes, he was in a cold frozen forest.

What? It's so cold-d.

Naruto begins to shiver as he looks at the unfamiliar landscape. A cold forest where everything is frozen, the trees, the ground, everywhere Naruto looked, everything was frozen.

Where is this place? Father was right, but there doesn't even seem to be chakra. Wait, I sense something similar it feels like some form of energy surrounds the air. I should give Naruto some of my chakra so he doesn't freeze to death.

Naruto was about to collapse from the freezing temperatures, but he felt a sudden warmth course throughout his body. He could continue walking, unsure what had happened or where he was.

As he continued his stroll through the frozen forest, he saw what appeared to be frozen statues of people.

What the hell? Where the fuck did we get sent to?

Naruto thought the frozen people were statues that got frozen, never even considering the possibility that they were people frozen. Naruto's natural curiosity overrode any fear or negative emotions despite the fact he was suddenly in an unfamiliar place.

A young girl saw in the distance what looked like a person. She wondered if she should approach them or if whoever it may be would be scared of her and her appearance.

I think I see someone!

Naruto began to run in that direction. He saw the outline of another person getting closer seeing a silver-haired girl who looked the same age as himself. He wondered if this girl would treat him differently than how the people in the Leaf Village treated him. But the doubt still lingered in his head that he'd still be alone even in this new place he was sent to.

Naruto got close enough to wave, shouting in excitement and a hint of dread, "HEY!"

The girl didn't respond, but Naruto continued getting closer to the girl's amethyst eyes. He finally got close enough to talk without shouting, but the girl looked frozen in shock or fear.

Naruto said with a tone of more dread, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki. What's yours?"

As the girl gazed upon the boy, she couldn't help but take notice of his striking features. His golden locks of hair shone brightly in the sun, making him stand out from the rest of the crowd. His piercing blue eyes seemed to sparkle with mischief and adventure, hinting at a mischievous personality. But what truly caught her attention were the thin whiskers on his cheeks, resembling those of a cat. They added an unusual quirkiness to his appearance, making him look even more unique.

Finally, the girl responded, "My name is Emili-a uhm, it's nice to mee-t you."

I feel like a parent watching my son awkwardly conversing with a girl. What the hell is going on?

Naruto stared at the girl's eyes before noticing her ears were shaped strangely. He noticed they had a pointy top instead of a regular round shape. Naruto, however, also felt a bit of sadness as Emilia was acting similarly to some of the people he tried to speak to within the Leaf Village.

Suddenly Naruto spotted something incredible to see a flying cat white-haired cat. He stared at the cat wanting to pet it.

Naruto looked at the cat, "A flying cat? That's so cool!"

The cat said, "My name is Puck. How did you get here?"

That flying cat has a decent amount of energy or chakra or whatever the hell is in this world, but I can sense he has an amount equal to that of Shukaku.

Naruto thought of the question before realizing the cat was talking. His face pitched up in surprise and excitement. "Wait, what? You can talk?"

Emilia giggles at Naruto's comment, "Puck is a spirit."

A spirit? What is that?

Naruto looked in confusion at Emilia, "Is that like some sort of Jutsu?"

Puck observes what Naruto is saying, and he acts. He sensed no malice from the boy. However, he was both intrigued and confused about how he wasn't cold. He stared at the boy who wasn't even shivering in the cold temperature of the forest.

Emilia tilted her head, "What's a Jutsu?"

Does she not know about Jand shinobi?

Naruto responded with a smile, "A Jutsu is what a shinobi uses in battle… ya know?."
Emilia looked at Naruto with even more confusion, "What's a shinobi?"

Does she not know anything?

Naruto was about to respond but was curious, "Emilia, right? Uh, why are your ears pointy?"

He noticed the girl looked sad after he said, "Wait, I don't mean it in a bad way…."

Emilia responded with a shallow tone, "I'm a half-elf."

What does that mean?

Naruto was lost in confusion, "What is an elf?"

Puck, after observing this conversation for long enough, concluded that Naruto was from beyond the great waterfall. He seemed to lack any understanding of where he was. Naruto's responses were answered Puck didn't understand. He could only assume that's the reason for Naruto's lack of understanding.

Before Puck could speak, he watched Naruto poke Emilia's ear. He couldn't help but find Naruto's behavior amusing.

Emilia slightly blushed in embarrassment, "Why did you do that?"

Naruto stepped back, thinking of a solution, "You can touch my ear if you want."

I'm going back to bed. Don't die, Naruto… this is painful to watch.

Puck finally could speak, "Naruto, you said you don't remember how you got here, right?"

Naruto's eyes turned to Puck, "Uhm, no, I don't. But I'll be alright, believe it!"

Emilia started to laugh at Naruto's carefree attitude. She's never really talked to anybody except for Puck, so meeting Naruto was a fun and new experience. She also liked that Naruto didn't seem to be phased by her appearance. Naruto only seemed curious but not scared or afraid of her.

Puck sighed, wanting to confirm his suspicions about Naruto's origin. He asked, "Naruto, the place you are in is called Elior Forest. Do you have any family or friends here?"

I never had any friends or family…

Naruto's head tilted down, "No. No friends or family."

Emilia noticed the sad expression, "Well if you want, I can be your friend."

Emilia never had any friends or family, either. She only had Puck, but she wanted to meet people. She was scared, too, because of her appearance, but Naruto didn't seem to care. He was also like her, making Emilia feel guilty about her excitement.

Naruto's head lit up with excitement, "Really?"

Emilia nodded, "Yes, let's be friends!"

I can't believe I made my first friend—this feeling of excitement I've never had before.

Puck didn't mind but still didn't understand how Naruto wasn't freezing. He was wearing only orange shorts, black sandals, and a white shirt with a circular symbol.

Puck's keen eyes noticed that the sun was gradually sinking below the horizon, signaling it was time to return to Emilia's tiny abode. He guided the two of them back, feeling content as he observed Emilia's cheerful demeanor. He couldn't remember when she was this happy and carefree, and it made him smile.

As they walked, Puck couldn't help but also take notice of Naruto's similar attitude. The two appeared to have an almost contagious joy, a far cry from the apprehension and uncertainty previously clouded their expressions. Puck could sense that both Emilia and Naruto had initially thought the other person would reject them, but he was glad to see that they could put those worries aside and enjoy each other's company.

Naruto noticed that Emilia's home was even smaller than his own. He also wondered why the forest was frozen and how big the forest was.

Emilia sighed with sleepy eyes, "Naruto, I only have one bed. I hope you don't mind sharing it."

It's way more cooler for a ninja to be able to sleep anywhere.

Naruto shook his head, "It's fine. A shinobi should be able to sleep in any environment. I can sleep on the floor."

Emilia tilted her head, wrapping herself in a blanket, "Naruto, the floor is freezing. Aren't you cold?"

Naruto shook his head again, "No, it's fine. You've been super nice to me, so thanks, ya know."

Emilia, with a confused smile, "Uhm, alright. Thank you too. You've been nice to me."

Emilia's eyelids became heavy as she drifted into a peaceful slumber, her breathing slowing to a gentle rhythm. She had responded to Naruto's words before succumbing to her tiredness.

As Emilia slept soundly, Naruto adjusted his position, placing his hands behind his head to form a makeshift pillow. He gazed up at the ceiling, lost in thought. He couldn't help but feel content, surrounded by peace. He closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh, his mind slowly beginning to relax.

Now I have to give Naruto more chakra to keep him warm because he decided to sleep on a frozen floor to impress this random girl. Wait, did he think being a shinobi meant sleeping… never mind. This is going to be a long year.

Meanwhile, in the world of Naruto:

Obito and Zetsu were having an important discussion about the completion of the eye of the moon plan.

Obito sighs, "What do you mean the nine-tails just disappeared?"

Zetsu shrugged, "I don't know, but the nine-tails chakra is not anywhere in this world. The jinchuriki Naruto Uzumaki has also vanished."

Obito frowned, "How does a tailed beast vanish from the world?"

Okay so this chapter was hard to write since it's two eight year old's talking. Got to build the foundation first though. Let me know how you think I did with kid Naruto's responses.
