This fanfic is for anime-onlies and manga readers, of course. As I said in my other fanfic "A Second Chance" it's been a long time since I've made a fanfic, so I have completely forgotten how to use commas and make sentences/words flow naturally. My grammar and punctuation sucks, as well.

"This kid has the same enthusiasm over Ai as you did, Sarina-chan" Aqua smiled softly as he remembered his old patient from his previous life.

Ruby woke up thinking that someone had called out to her.

"Huh…? Did you call for me?" She yawned while rubbing her right eye.

"Oh, my bad, did I wake you?" Aqua apologized. "Well, I didn't call out you. Also, if you're going to sleep then at least do so on a bed" He said as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms.

"Nnh…" Ruby groaned as she stood up to face Aqua while ignoring his words.

"Yes, yes… Well, it's not like you would call out to me, I mean, Sarina was my name in my previous life, well anyways, goodnight, bro." Ruby started to walk to her room not noticing that Aqua's jaw dropped and now had a wide-eyed expression.

"Wait!" Aqua yelled as he grabbed Ruby's arm. "What did you say your name was?!" Normally, he wouldn't do something like this but his infant brain and body caused him to be impulsive.

"Why are you yelling? You're going to wake mama up!" Ruby yelled back, only increasing the chance of Ai waking up.

"My name was Sarina, alright? Sarina Tendoji, now let go." She answered while trying to shake off her brother's hold but Aqua kept a firm grip on his sister's arm, much to her dismay.

"You-. Name-. I-. Wha-?" Aqua couldn't formulate his thoughts into proper sentences or even words. Ruby's name in her previous life was the same as his patient from Miyazaki. There was no way, they couldn't be the same person, right? It must be a coincidence but he had to make sure.

"What is your deal? Jeez, why do I have to have such a weird brother." Ruby shook her head, annoyed that she was born with a strange older brother.

"S-Sarina-chan…?" Aqua's hold on her arm loosened as he called out to her.

"What? Why are you calling me by my old name? I didn't give you permission to call me that, the only ones who are allowed to call me by my old name are mama and sens-." Ruby was going to go on a rant about how nobody can call her Sarina other than the 2 people she adores the most but that was interrupted by Aqua.

"You were a patient at a hospital in Miyazaki prefecture…" Aqua looked into Ruby's eyes as he completely let go of her arm.

Ruby was shocked, how did he get this information?! "W-what? How did you-" Did they know each other? The only one who she regularly interacted with was… No, it can't be… There's no way, is he?

"Sarina… It's me… I am Gorou Amemiya." Aqua revealed himself to Ruby. Normally, he would not do this but his shock and surprise along with his rash and impulsive baby brain made him reveal himself.

Ruby's brain came to a screeching halt, to say Ruby was shocked would be history's largest understatement. Her brother in this life, was her doctor in her previous life? That was impossible, this had to be a dream, she couldn't believe it, but somewhere in her soul, she somehow believed his words.

"Sensei… Is… Is it really you…?" She covered her mouth with her hands as she started to tear up.

"Yes, it's me, Sarina-chan. I can't believe this, this is unbelievable, I-" Aqua was immediately tackled by Ruby before he could go on any further, luckily, neither of them got hurt.

"Sensei! Sensei! You- why are you here?! If you're here then that means?!" Ruby at first was happy, no, she was overjoyed that she was reunited with her sensei and first love, but the implications of him being reincarnated hit her. Gorou Amemiya would have to have died for him to reincarnate as her brother.

"Damn it, I didn't think this through. I shouldn't have told her that I'm Gorou yet." Aqua internally reprimanded himself for being so stupid. He completely forgot that he would have to have died first before being reincarnated.

"Shhhh! You're going to wake Ai up." Aqua quickly shushed Ruby. "I'll explain everything to you, just get off of me first. Also, you could have gotten us both hurt. I can't believe that I just got tackled by a baby."

"Sensei… Why are you here? I was supposed to find you and marry you after becoming an idol." She ignored Aqua, and continued to lay on top of him instead she repeated her question but this time with a low and unreadable tone.

"Are you serious? I would be around 46 by the time you're 16 in this life, I would be labeled as a lolicon and ostracized by society if I married you." Aqua was appalled that Sarina/Ruby would even think of marrying his old self despite the massive 30-year age gap.

"Sensei… how and when did you die?" Ruby once again ignored Aqua's ramblings and asked the big question.

"..." Aqua went silent for a good few seconds before answering. "I wa-" Ai walked into the room and turned on the lights right as Aqua was going to answer.

"What's all this noise?" She rubbed one of her eyes as she went to investigate the noise that had woken her up only to be greeted to the sight of Ruby lying on top of Aqua.

"Huh? Ruby, why are you on top of Aqua?" She walked over to them causing both Aqua and Ruby to panic. "No, no, no, missy, that won't do. You shouldn't bully your brother." Ai, fortunately, misunderstood the situation and thought that Ruby was bullying Aqua.

She then picked both of them up but noticed that Ruby's eyes were red from crying. "Hm? Ruby, why are you crying?" She looked at Aqua and then back at Ruby. "Ah, maybe it was Aqua who was bullying Ruby and she was just fighting back!"

She then leaned in and bopped Aqua's nose with her own. "That won't do young man! You shouldn't bully girls, especially your sister!"

The twins looked at each other, relieved that their mother didn't find out about their secret. Ai hummed as she went to the bedroom to put the twins to bed.

"There, there, it's bedtime for both of you. No crawling out of bed, alright?" She said as she laid the both of them in their respective cribs.

"I'm going to get your pillow and blankets, okay? You both better still be here when I come back." She smiled and stood up, she started giggling about how her babies were so cute as she went to get their things.

Ruby spoke after seeing that Ai was out of earshot. "We'll talk about this tomorrow, right, sensei?" Ruby's gaze bore into Aqua as she basically demanded they talk tomorrow.

"Yes, miss… But stop calling me sensei, I'm your brother now, so call me Aqua or bro instead."

"Fine, but I will still call you sensei in private."

"Okay, okay… goodnight, Ruby."

"Goodnight, sensei." She called him sensei again, much to Aqua's dismay as he groaned.

Ruby quietly turned around to sleep on her side but was unable to sleep as she was still in deep thought. "Why, how, and when did sensei die…? I can't stop thinking about it." Ruby thought to herself if only she didn't wake her mama up, then she could continue to ask her sensei questions.

"I don't want to sleep, I need answers, but my stupid baby body is failing me." Her eyelids started becoming heavy as she had trouble keeping her eyes open.

"I'm going to pass out any... any… second now…" And those were her last words before she finally drifted into sleep.

Aqua decided it was also time to sleep after seeing Ruby pass out. "I guess I should also clock out now…" Aqua sighed.

"Tomorrow is going to be a crazy day, right, Sarina-chan…?" And with those words, he closed his eyes, allowing his consciousness to drift as he too, fell asleep.

Ai came back with 2 pillows and 2 blankets in hand a little bit after the twins had fallen asleep.

"Ah? Both of my babies are already asleep. That's sad, I wanted to cuddle with them for a bit, oh well." She walked over to them and placed a pillow under their heads while also putting a blanket over them.

"Goodnight, my darling little Aqua." She said as she kissed his forehead.

"Goodnight, my precious little Ruby." She said as she also kissed Ruby on the forehead.

Ai smiled as she stood over them and stared at them. She continued to stare for a bit wanting to say something but couldn't. Her smile slowly faded as she now had a somber expression. She wanted to say those 3 special words to her babies.

She desperately wanted to say them, but she was scared, terrified that she would recognize them as lies. Even so, she hoped that she would one day be able to loudly proclaim her love to them.

"Aqua, Ruby… I will always be here for you…" She declared, oblivious to her fate.

Chapters will probably only be a couple thousand words and will most likely not reach into the 15-20k word range. Semi-regular updates, I school, old assignments to catch up on, and I now have 2 fanfics that I have to write.

I'd love to get some constructive criticism, so I can further improve my fanfics quality, a masterpiece like Oshi No Ko deserves good fanfics.

If a character makes a drastic decision that you can't understand, then please feel free to ask me, I'd be happy to explain my thought process.

Anyways, I hope that I didn't make Ruby, Aqua, and Ai too ooc, I also hope that you all enjoyed/liked this chapter and its premise.

This is crossposted on ao3, author is me.

Until next time!
