The calm of the Lab was disturbed when he walked in, Dr. Mark Desmond. Though yes he wasn't known as a particularly bad man, he was still one of the most aggressive task masters the majority of them had ever worked under. Picking up their pace everyone in the Lab turned towards their work station and began to power through what they were working on. Only the ten people in this office, and a very few select individuals outside of it, knew about their work. They all knew if they were to be fired it would be a much more permanent fate than one would suspect.
Finally Dr. Desmond made his way through the Lab, where he reached his office door. As soon as he reached out towards his handle everyone in the office could hear a slight beeping. A few brave souls looked up in time to see the doctor turning slightly towards them and holding his phone up to his ear.
"Good morning, miss Waller."
They of course can't hear anything she is saying on her side, but they do see Dr. Desmond's lips turning up into a slight smile.
"It's been approved?"
"Copy, miss Waller, we'll begin work now."
Finally the doctor pockets his phone and fully turns towards the lab.
"Good afternoon everyone, today is the start of history. We have finally been granted permission to keep testing the subjects of our Justice Clones project. I want to have the files we've gathered by the genomorphs on each subject on my desk within the hour. "
Everyone in the Lab stayed sitting down staring at the doctor.
"Well what are you waiting for? I've just told you what I need! " Dr. Desmond's anger flared.
Everyone in the office finally seemed to get what was needed as every scientist shot out of their seats and began frantically searching for the correct files. In the frantic searching Dr. Desmond slipped out of the room and closed the door to his office. The doctor still had a smile on his face.
"Computer. " his computers screen flashed and pinged once to let him know it had heard.
"Bring up all of the information that we have for Project Justice Clones."
"Bringing up files for Project Justice Clones." The computer replied back.
Dr. Desmond made his way around his desk and reset his glasses on his face. Then, he started to read.

Project Krypton is made up of the genetic material of Superman (Clark Kent) and Lex Luthor. Project Krypton was the longest "justice clone" in the works. The Kryptonian DNA does not match well, it was attempted with numerous female leaguers, alien, meta, and human both. But the Kryptonian DNA treated the testing as an attack and fought back. All of the external DNA was destroyed by the Kryptonian DNA. Lex Luthor (A large contributor to the justice clone project) suggested his own DNA, due to his years of near constant contact with kryptonite. With nothing else to attempt, we used his DNA. His DNA seems to be almost poisoned by the kryptonite, leaving the Kryptonian DNA too weak to fight back. Protect Krypton is weaker than Superman due to the poisoned Kryptonite DNA. We believe the subject can reach their full potential with longer exposure to the earth's yellow sun.

Project Flash is made up of the genetic material of Kid Flash (Wally West) and Ms. Marvel (Mary Marvel). Subject has shown no connection to the speed force, their speed seems to come from Ms. Marvel's genetic material, all tests to connect subjects to the speed force have not gone well. These tests have resulted in chemical burns, which have all faded, and Lichtenberg Figures (lightning trees). Unlike most people the subject's Lichtenberg figures have not faded with time. Subject seems to have some form of longevity, perhaps from Ms. Marvel DNA. Again the subject does not physically age due to the Lazarus effect. Subject was created to see if naturally high speed will enhance the speed force. Numerous attempts to connect the user to the speed force have all failed, connection may not be possible.
Dr. Desmond leaned back in his chair rubbing his eyes. He was excited to continue testing even if he was a little worried. Most of the initial testing scores aren't based on anything the subjects have done but rather what we expect of them. Like project Batman Beyond, who when first woke up couldn't even string together a coherent sentence, but they're still hoping for the best. Project Krypton could barely move due to their kryptonite poisoning. And project Flash was talking too fast for them to understand them.
How could he not be worried that they'll be genetic disasters? Dr. Desmond stood up and began walking towards his side wall.
"Computer. Set an alarm for 0600 tomorrow morning."
"Setting alarm for 0600 on June/9/2017."
"Thank you computer."
Dr. Desmond reached his side wall and pulled a small handle pulling out a pull out bed. Setting his glasses and other few trinkets on the floor next to his bed the doctor got under the covers and said one final thing.
"We have a lot of work to do. "
Project Aquagirl- JUNE/9/2017
Subject was awoken to start phase 2 of their evaluations. Subject has no troubles waking up.
Medical- Cleared on all accounts.
Physical- Cleared on all accounts.
Psychological- Subject has a very calm personality and seems to understand why they are here.
Academical- Subject scored much higher in their intelligence testing than thought possible.
Subject is very intelligent, with none of the temper normally associated with Aquaman. Subject scored well on their physical assessments, though is weaker than Aquaman.
Project Batman Beyond- JUNE/9/2017
Subject was awoken for phase 2 and went into atrial fibrillation. Subject's heart did stop for a time, though we were able to use the Defibrillator to restart the Subject's heart. Good chance to see how fast the Subjects can heal. Subject was put back to sleep.

Subject was reawakened with no heart arrhythmia. Subject wakes up able to speak correctly now which is a positive sign.
Medical- Subject has been cleared on all accounts, including cardiovascular imperfections.
Physical- Subject Cleared on all accounts.
Psychological- Subject has a very analytical mind, and some minor anger issues, could be Amazonian DNA. Subject seems to have some minor PTSD from the genomorphs showing images of the subject's dead "parents", ex associates Warren and Mary McGinnis. Subject does understand why they were created.
Academical- Subject Scored perfectly on every test we could give them.
Subject is extremely intelligent, to what degree is unknown. Subject has a very strong desire to protect the innocent. It is our belief showing the subject images of their "parents" was a success, and the minor PTSD was well worth the trouble. Subject does understand they were not his true parents.

Subject was awoken for phase 2 and flew into a blind rage, severely injuring 3 associates that are in critical condition. Subject was fine to test given some time. Subject didn't react this poorly to being Woken up the first time, could have Woken them too quickly.

Subject was awoken for phase 2 today. The subject was seemingly angry, though they were unable to do much with their anger due to kryptonite poisoning. Subject was put under a yellow sun generator overnight.
JUNE/15/2017
Subject awoke feeling better than the day before and was able to start their testing. Subject seems to have more strength everytime they awake.
Medical- Subject passed majority of testing. Still feeling some effects from kryptonite poisoning.
Physical- left much to be desired, the subject is nearly as strong, durable, and fast as Superman, but had no ability to fly, or any different visual capabilities.
Psychological- Subject is deeply saddened they are unable to do everything Superman can do, they have a deep desire to be wanted, and are afraid they aren't the perfect specimen. Subject uses a lot of anger to try and cover up these feelings. Subject does understand why they were created.
Academic- The subject appears to be very intelligent, though they do not apply themselves, nor are they very analytical.
Subject is full of untapped potential but has many fears based on never reaching them. Subject has a very strong sense of protection and has shown anger at the thought of failing people. Wishes to protect the innocent.
Project Flash-JUNE/20/2017
Subject awoke for phase 2 today. Subject is in excruciating pain due to us trying to connect them to the speed force. They feel they are on fire. This could be what the subject was first talking when we couldn't understand them the first time we woke them.
Medical- Subject says they are in pain due to their scarring, scars for some reason show no sign of healing.
Physical- subject shows no signs of being connected to the speed force, though they are extremely fast due to Ms. Marvel's DNA. Subject tops out at around 5,000 MPH. Subject seems to have a strange connection to lightning.
Psychological- Subject has strong feelings of embarrassment when asked how they feel about their scars. We Believe the feeling of burning can be psychological and not physical. Subject does understand why they were created.
Academic- Subject is extremely smart, and a very quick thinker. They have a strong passion for Science, especially chemistry.
Though the subject is unable to gain access to the speed force, they claim they can feel it inside them, they say it feels as if the lightning is stuck inside of them. More testing needs to be completed to see if the subject can in some way access the speed force.
JUNE/23/2017
Subjects have now been awoken, and are going to be meeting the others today. Of course they know each other from images and their files, supplied by the genomorphs, but many of the psychologists have suggested bringing them together for better cohesion in their future teamwork. I believe this to be a terrible idea.
Subjects will now be named in shorthand.
Certain subjects have been getting curious about the outside world, mainly Aquagirl, Beyond, and Flash. One wishes to swim in the ocean, the other wishes to investigate the outside world, and the last wishes to run and never stop. Of course the subjects don't want us to know these things but the genomorphs are good for more than just feeding the project's information.
Beyond shows the most contempt towards the Genomorphs, they've discovered that he dislikes the feeling of the genomorphs inside his head. Another issue with the genomorphs is Flash, the genomorphs can't always comprehend what he's thinking about. His mind simply runs too fast for them.
I suggested to management that they needed more testing, so we could make sure they were unable to disobey the genomorphs, but of course I was overruled. Amanda Waller the CEO of Cadmus industries, came from on high to veto my opinion, saying, "Science is not without risk Dr. Desmond." Of course it's not without risk! But it's our duty to lower that risk! But she doesn't understand, she's not a scientist, she wants what she wants when she wants it, there is no telling that woman no.
So here we are, the subjects were awoken 15 minutes ago with no complications and will be meeting their other "justice clones" within 10 minutes. I need to finish this entry here so that I can get to the cafeteria in time and make sure nothing goes wrong between the projects. This is Dr. Desmond signing off.
JUNE/24/2017
The first meeting yesterday went only slightly better than expected. The subjects were fine around each other for the first hour and forty five minutes, making idle chat and eating in the same cafeteria. This was unexpected on my part, thinking they wouldn't get along at all around each other, though of course I was proven right soon enough.
Of course Warhawk started it when they grabbed Flash's shoulder not thinking about their scars. Flash screamed in pain gaining the attention of the justice clones around him. Krypton being as protective as they are pushed Warhawk away, starting an argument between the two. Beyond at that point had made their way around the table and stepped in between the two justice clones. Seeing someone in between them caused them to falter as Beyond very calmly asked them to stop. They seemed ready to push the Project out of the way and continue fighting until a quiet voice called from at the table.
Everyone in the cafeteria turned to Flash as they stated they were fine and it was an accident. Begrudgingly the two justice clones sat back down. Soon after, their first meeting was cut short as we hadn't wanted any more fighting to happen in case they were damaged. They did not seem happy to go back into their stasis tunes, which I fear may only get worse. We won't let them out again until the twenty sixth, we have enough video feed to study them for now. The Justice Clones have been woken up. Today is their first training simulation, so we can see how well they work together. Very excited to see how they perform. Not much to report today, will update with what happened tomorrow. Dr. Desmond signing off.
JUNE/27/2017
The training went much better than expected, they worked extremely well within a team environment. luckily any anger Krypton and Warhawk had towards each other seems to have faded out as they both enjoyed the training. Aquagirl has to be the biggest surprise as they were able to use their control over water to destroy over half of the robots we had set out. Beyond also showed a natural leadership over the group, and a deep protective nature over Aquagirl.
The Justice Clones first training was a large success, even Flash had a large improvement. When Beyond was hit out of the air by a drone he was falling too fast for anyone to do much of anything to help, then the brightest light I have ever seen blinded the training area and the Flash had caught Beyond. I of course instantly started trying to get the reading from the Subjects burst of energy. And luckily enough our systems were able to clock the Subject's speed. The Subject broke their top speed of 5,000 MPH to 10,000 MPH.
When looking at the video we can't see anything, the light blinded everything and no amount of tampering we did helped. The only evidence left of his sprint was a scorch mark following his destination to Beyond.
Though Beyond was slightly injured in the training he was healed and moving perfectly fine less than an hour later. The subjects were all allowed to eat together after their successful training and they have now started to create separate groups.
Beyond and Aquagirl have started an unusual friendship, the two being the quietest and most mild mannered of the group. They sit back away from everyone else and eat mostly in silence only adding to the conversation every once in a while. They seem to have some kind of attraction to each other. I'll have the genomorphs look into that while they're in stasis tonight. They don't talk too much about the training except for what could have been done better.
Krypton, Warhawk, and Flash are the complete opposite on the other hand. They are a loud rowdy bunch that talk the entire time about their training, even going so far as to say how many robots they defeated by themselves. Any fight that happened two days prior meant nothing to them.
The training was a rousing success, and the meal time was as much of a success as the training. We have now decided to allow them to gather everyday, at least for the meal time. Dr. Desmond signing out.
JUNE/28/2017
No training today, the subjects seem to naturally follow Beyond and listen to his ideas. The subjects were given board games today to see how their critical thinking worked within the games. Aquagirl and Beyond played chess by themselves, and the other three projects played a game called Catan.
Soon enough Beyond had won in his game against Aquagirl, they then joined the next round of the Catan board game. Beyond of course was exceptionally good at the board games with warhawk falling in last every game. Warhawk and Beyond have a natural opposition towards each other, that we must keep an eye on for future disagreements.
Subjects seemed to like "hanging out" as they called it. Dr Desmond signing out.

Today we followed up with the genomorphs on Aquagirl and Beyond's thoughts for each other. They seem to have some sort of attraction towards each other, but our psychologists think it's nothing worthwhile. I am worried about this but we will see in time.
Uneventful day, though there seems to be a weird flicker effect with our surveillance system. It always happens when Beyond and Flash are near each other. I brought this up to our head of security and no matter what we did to the cameras or the video there was no change. Head of security seems to think this is normal, but I'm sending up a service ticket asking for an updated monitoring system. Dr. Desmond signing off.

Genomorphs have reported issues trying to look into Flash's mind. Would be worried if not for a past of this occurring.
Today we were able to finally fully test the subjects, no more guess work with them.

JULY/2/2017
Was called away on JULY/1/2023 unable to make journal entry. Today the subjects were brought to the training room again, today was based around Martial arts training, no surprise that Beyond made the best of teachers look like beginners. Soon enough they let Beyond teach the class, the subject is very good at teaching and is stronger and more durable than the other teachers so it was less of a risk.
Krypton and Flash are terrible at even the simplest moves, both claiming they don't need to be able to fight since they have their powers. Beyond of course brought up if they're fighting someone as fast or as strong as they are than they need to be technical with them. They paid attention only a little bit more after that.
Aquagirl and Warhawk both took great pleasure in practicing their skills Warhawk being especially skilled in grappling and heavy weaponry, including a large mace. And Aquagirl being especially skilled within long arm weaponry, such as a bo staff, and a Trident she was apparently particularly fond of.
Over all they are progressing very well, the rest of the night was uneventful besides some more flickering on the monitors. New system should come in on JULY/9/2017. Dr. Desmond signing off.

"Ah, Dr. Desmond this is Amanda Waller calling. I just wanted to call and congratulate you on a job well done."
"Congratulations? For what, miss Waller?"
"For the justice clones of course, we both know you've never done anything else worthwhile now have you?"
"..."
"Oh, I'm sorry Dr. Desmond did I offend you? It was never my intention."
"Don't worry I have thicker skin than most."
"Oh I bet Doctor. Well anyways I just needed to contact you about a new mission for the justice clones, they'll need to be ready by 1700 tomorrow. "
"What? Ma'am they're untested!"
"Are you questioning me, doctor?"
"They're not your personal hit squad Waller! Forget about your little suicide squad? Why not send them on the mission? "
"Because that's not what I asked, doctor. You and I both know that I have all rights towards them, you signed so many papers saying as much at the start of all this. What were you so excited for your pet project that you forgot? "
"Waller you and I both know they're not ready for this! They're still training, they're still under evaluation, there's no way to know how they'll react in the field! "
"Oh come on Doctor, are you truly so stupid as to think I haven't been watching them nearly 24/7? Who do you think hired those therapists that have been working with them? You think they report to you? They tell you what I tell them to tell you. Get off of your high horse Dr. Desmond, they're coming with me."
"... Yes, ma'am."
"Good, now have them ready for me by 1500 tomorrow."
"I thought you said 1700?"
"I did, before you went ahead and pissed me off Desmond. 1500 don't be late. " click.

The subjects do not know they are to go on a mission tomorrow, I have not told them, will wake them up for breakfast tomorrow and then put them back on stasis sleep to get them to their destination. Dr. Desmond signing out.

VIDEO RECORDING
Dr. Mark Desmond was standing in front of his computer pacing back and forth running his fingers through his hair.
"I don't know what happened! Breakfast was going fine! They were in the middle of eating when the monitor went white and a fire started on the 7 floor!"
Dr. Desmond was furious, chairs, cabinets nothing in his way stayed up as he threw them all, letting his anger get the better of him.
"Of course we brought them to their chambers as soon as possible and put them in stasis." A look of confusion happened upon the older doctors face. "It was just a small fire! Why would the Titans show up, let alone go looking for anything?!"
Dr. Desmond was seething, breathing sharply in and out of his mouth.
"How did they get down to the justice clones? It makes no sense!" The doctor punctuated his exclamation by pounding his fists into his desk.
A loud beeping noise caught his attention as he looked at the flashing red notification pop up on his computer, it was the 8 of them about to reach the 1st floor. Looking around, Dr. Desmond saw the last chance he had to stop them, his blockbuster formula. He picked it up in his right hand and turned towards his laptop still taking his video.
"I'm going to make this right, they are the property of Cadmus and will stay with Cadmus."
Popping the lid off the doctor looked at the camera one last time.
"I told you my skin was thicker than most."
The doctor drank all of the flask's content in one go. With a shaking hand and increased breathing Dr. Mark Desmond reached forward and turned off his laptop.
