* Few Days Later *
Naruto was standing in the training area watching Hinata trying to use a stance against Reina that Noriko thought was good for her. Naruto continued to watch when he saw Masuyo from the corner of his eyes stop next to him. Naruto was expecting for her to say something so he looked at Masuyo and just looked at Hinata so he did to hear " That's the same stance that she was learning." Naruto looked at Masuyo then at Hinata and said " Do you think she'll do good with a bo staff." Naruto looked up at the woman to see her look away and heard " Yea." Naruto nodded, then he looked at Noriko who was walking over to him as Masuyo walked over to the shooting area. Naruto saw Noriko have a quiver on her back and a recurve bow in hand so he said " Hey, do you think Saru could use a bo staff?" Naruto saw Noriko look at Hinata then back and heard " Yea, it might work." Naruto nodded to hear Noriko say " Would you like to spare?" Naruto looked at Noriko and said " I would like to but I want to focus on Saru training." Naruto saw Noriko nod so he turned back as he heard a grunt from Reina.
Naruto instantly smiled as he heard Reina say " That's enough for now." Naruto saw Hinata get out of her stance so he walked over to her and said stopping in front of her " You did a good job." Naruto saw Hinata nod and then heard " I did?" Naruto nodded then said " Reina out of the three is the best in taijutsu, Noriko is assassinations and Masuyo is information gathering. You made Reina grunt and that shows work." Naruto saw Hinata nod and he assumed a smile formed under her mask so he turned around at Noriko who said " Well Saru after a break if you want I think it would be smart if you used a bo staff." Naruto looked at Hinata to hear " Can I think-k about it." Naruto just nodded as did Noriko so he looked forward and said " Ok well we get lunch then I'll take Saru for some chakra training." Naruto saw the two women nod so he looked at Hinata who nodded so he smiled and walked up stairs
* One Week Later *
Haishi Hyuga was standing in a dark room under the Hyuga compound with four main house members in front of him. Haishi looked forward to the light coming from the candles on the table in front of him hitting his face. Haishi just looked forward to the four Hyuga members to see three old members and one young about twenty. Haishi sighed to see a Hyuga set a file on the table and for his eyes to go wide so he said " How did you get that? The Hokage has that file as an S-rank secret." Haishi looked up at his own father to hear " It doesn't matter. We've studied the file and the only place that makes sense for him to go is a village about four days away." Haishi just nodded then said " You might be wrong, There have been words through the council that the demon has a summoning contract with the Dogs and a Hawk clan that can transform into huge hawks so they can be anywhere."
Haishi saw the three members nod the younger one on one knee so he looked at him. Haishi just looked at the three older main members which were the Hyuga elders. Haishi saw one elder look at the main and heard " You are to travel to this village and look for the demon and Hinata, you are to kill Hinata we don't know the demon's full power and he might be able to remove the seal just in case." Haishi saw the Hyuga nod then stood so he said " This might be a bad idea. If Hinata dies the demon will look into it no matter what. Kill the demon and anyone else with them as well making it look like an accident." Haishi saw the Hyuga nod then heard " I would like some help to fight against the demon and that failure." Haishi saw the man smirk but he didn't care and said " You are to take on others and your cover, is that you're picking up some unique tea for me." Haishi saw the man nod then turn and walk off so he nodded at the elders then walked off himself.
Naruto was watching Hinata practice with a basic oak wood bo staff just practicing what she saw from a book. Naruto continued to watch when he saw Hinata stop sweating so he smiled stepping forward and heard " I think tomorrow you'll fight Renai with the staff. Naruto saw Hinata nod then he said " Take a break." Naruto saw Hinata nod then walk over and heard " Can I ask you something?" Naruto nodded then heard " Did you learn to shoot with your bow from Noriko?" Naruto sighed then said " Not exactly. When I first met the four of them I helped out and Noriko wanted to spar. I was just like any other ninja, caring kunai and the basic." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he said " We spar and she used a bow and kicked my fucking ass without shooting a single arrow. I became interested and taught myself. It took forever but I became about as good as her then better." Naruto saw Hinata nod and then heard " Four?" Naruto's eyes widened then he leaned back and said " Not my story but I was there." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " So what weapons do they all use?" Naruto nodded and said " Noriko uses a bow as you know, Renai uses a simple katana and Masuyo uses two short swords. She can use a bow but isn't the best." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " This fourth woman can I know her name?"
Naruto just looked at Hinata and stood and said " I can't tell you a lot." Naruto then walked over to a nearby table with four weapon cases on them all the same length. Naruto walked over to one case, opening the case, Hinata in front of him on the other side of the table. Naruto looked at a metal and wooden bow staff, the area where you hold a spruce part and the rest a purple metal. Naruto grabbed it and walked over to Hinata and said " Her name was Rei and this was her weapon." Naruto looked at Hinata and said " I only knew her for a couple of days. She had a uniqueness about her that made people smile." Naruto then gave a soft true smile to Hinata and said " Similar to you." Naruto saw Hinata's face turn red to his confusion but he ignored it and said standing up " You are a lot like her." Naruto continued to look at the staff then he turned around and said looking at Hinata " Her name was Rei." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he put the staff back and said " Let's get to work." Naruto walked back to Hinata and stood in front of her to hear " She sounds like a good person." Naruto nodded and said " She was." Naruto then turned eyeing Masuyo who was standing in the doorway then said " We are going to go outside the village. I'm going to teach you a few jutsu that are useful then we'll work on your water and lighting elements."
* One Week Later *
Naruto was watching Hinata fight with Reina, her staff in hand and was happy with her progress. Naruto just smiled when he thought ' She's getting better and more confident.' Naruto continued to look at Hinata wearing a lavender running jacket with black pants and black ninja sandals with her kunai pouch on her right thigh. Naruto continued to watch when he felt his face slightly heats up and he thought ' She's pretty." Naruto shook his head as he thought ' she's just a friend." Naruto sighed when he felt hate and anger nearby and it was strong. Naruto looked up hearing footsteps so he looked at Hinata and said " Activate your Byakugan." Naruto saw Hinata stop and do it then after a couple seconds heard " It's two main house Hyuga." Naruto's eyes widened then he groaned and said looking at Reina " We need to leave all of us." Naruto just saw Reina nod and run grabbing her weapon then the other woman's weapon. Naruto turned to hear footsteps then two Hyuga standing there. Naruto saw one look at Hinata and heard " I'll take care of the two girls you take care of the demon." Naruto saw the other Hyuga nod then charge so he looked at Hinata whose eyes were widened and she was backing up but he just looked back at his opponent ducking under a strike.
Naruto stepped back grabbing his bow and said " You are assaulting two ninjas of Konoha, I can kill you for that." Naruto saw the man smirk and heard " I'd like to see you try." Naruto saw the Hyuga go for another strike but he stepped to the side then kicked the Hyuga. Naruto didn't give the person a chance by punching him in the face then hitting him across the face with the limb of his bow. Naruto stood in front drawing an arrow to just step back dodging a strike. Naruto unknocked his arrow, twirling then slashing at the Hyuga's face who dodges but he smirked, knocking his arrow then fired it at the Ninja. Naruto grabbed the arrow right after taking it out of the Hyuga's ribs then slashing him across the face then shooting it in his head. Naruto then turned hearing a grunt to see Reina on the ground, her arm just hanging. Naruto drew the arrow out of the Hyuga's head then fired it at the Hyuga that saw it and was hit in the shoulder. Naruto saw the Hyuga that was attacking Reina look at the dead Hyuga then turn and run so he looked at Reina and said " Can you walk." Naruto saw Reina nod so he walked to Hinata who was shocked and once he stopped in front of her he heard " Why, were they attacking us?" Naruto sighed annoyed and said " Saru, I'll explain but we need to go." Naruto looked at Reina and said " Let's go." Naruto saw Reina nod holding Noriko quiver and bow, Masuyo swords and her's so he said " Leave the quiver I can supply her to a new one." Naruto saw her nod then drop it so he turned and said " Hinata come on." Naruto started to walk to hear " Wait." Naruto turned to see Hinata getting Rei's weapon so he just smiled then saw Hinata jog up so they walked up the stairs.
As they got to the entrance of the building Naruto saw Masuyo and Noriko stop so he said " You are all compromised." Naruto saw them nod and then hear someone yell " It was them." Naruto turned to see some samurai so he groaned and threw smoke bombs. Naruto turned and said, " Run." Naruto ran through the village the samurai followed them and after getting to the entrance Naruto bit his finger starting hand signs. After getting a good distance from the entrance he stopped slamming his hand on the ground saying " Summoning Jutsu." Naruto stopped to see a Hawk appear so he said " Minaro we need to leave now." Naruto saw Minaro nod then take off and after getting a good distance started to swoop down. Naruto walked over to Reina as she fell to her knees to help her up then said as Minaro charged at them " Jump." Everyone jumped, landing on the huge Minaro who started going to Konoha.
Naruto sighed as he looked back at the village then at the three women and said " I'll have to talk to the Hokage about this." Naruto saw them nod to see Masuyo's eyes widened and heard " Her bow staff." Naruto saw Hinata walk up crouching, holding out the weapon and heard her say " I grabbed it before we ran out." Naruto saw Masuyo smile and heard " Thank you." Naruto saw Hinata nod then stand up to stubble back as did the three other women so he touched a feather and thought ' Slow down.' Naruto stood up to hear " Why was I attacked." Naruto looked at Hinata then sighed and said " Because of this." Naruto opened the scroll he carries unsealing the file he got from Reina three weeks ago and handed it to Hinata. Naruto saw Hinata take it then open it and start to go through it. Naruto saw Hinata's eyes widened after a couple of minutes and heard " No." Naruto saw Hinata start to shake so he stepped forward to see tears start to fall down her face so he hugged her taking the files to hear her say sobbing " No, no, no." Naruto gave a heavy sigh as he held Hinata tightly.
* That Night *
Naruto was looking at Hinata who was sleeping as they traveled really slow. Naruto looked at the three women to see Reina move her arm so he said walking over " You're getting feeling back." Naruto saw Reina nod so he smiled to hear " Where are we going?" Naruto looked at Masuyo who was looking at Hinata so he said " I can drop you off anywhere you want after the Chunin exams but I'm heading to Konoha." Naruto saw Masuyo nod and then say " How is she?" Naruto sighed then said " Not good." Naruto saw Masuyo nod, then looked at him and heard " What if we want to stay in Konoha." Naruto nodded to look at the others to see them nod so he said " I'll talk to the old man but I can't promise anything." Naruto saw them nod so he sat down and said " On the other hand I think you should know something." Naruto took off his mask and said " I'm Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto guested to Hinata and said " That is Hinata." Naruto saw them nod then heard " Well Naruto is it true you hold it." Naruto just nodded to hear " I was planning on going at least to watch her. She has a lot of work but she's progressed." Naruto smiled then said " Well Reina she'll be happy for all of you to be there." Naruto then looked at Hinata with concern and mumbled " I'm so fucking sorry."
