Double checking one last time the items on her itinerary, deep brown orbs adjusted the hat over her wild dark hair. The tall slender woman tried her best to tame her mane with a ponytail so the company hat can fit her head. With a final sigh, Jane grabbed the food delivery bag and headed to her nth delivery stop that day.

"Well, beautiful house. At least I'll probably get a good tip." Surveying the well kept lawn, the delivery girl snorted to herself. She was not new to this kind of neighborhood. At least it was better than her stops earlier, let's just say even her athleticism was no match to a dashing dog. "Speaking of…" Weary eyes refocused on the fenced area as she analyzed any clues of possible pets in the address. Satisfied with her investigation, footsteps trekked towards the front door. "Tsk, Korsak will probably enjoy this more than me." Stifling another snort about her musing, Jane plastered a practiced smile as the front door finally opened.

On the opposite side of the entryway stood a blonde female. Her studying hazel eyes stared at the person standing in front of her. It took a few minutes before either woman realized they were just standing there and checking out each other.

"Thank you for the delivery." It was the light haired girl who spoke first. The voice was low and with a hint of awkwardness which made the dark haired one snap in attention.

"Ah yeah. TJ Pizza Specialty at your service." Cringing inwardly when her own voice hitched, Jane busied herself with removing the food items from her carrying bag. Her gaze shot up when she thought she heard a giggle but when curious brown orbs met hazel ones, light hues quickly averted and mirrored the same diversion as the blonde fumbled with her purse in hand. One large pizza box out of the bag, TJ Pizza delivery lady offered the item. "One large veggie pizza…" This time, hazels were the ones that looked up. "Please be careful, it is still hot." Jane gave a dimpled smile. Though the action elicited the opposite of what the dark haired woman intended to convey as the receiver of the delivery appeared to get startled. "Um–"

"-Yes." And one pizza box was snatched from the deliverer. "Thank you." Then the door closed.

"..." Standing there with her mouth agape, Jane blinked several times to comprehend what just happened. One hand grasped the bundle of cash that was shoved on her palm as another hand lifted to the side of her face where she could still feel the lips of the woman who just gave her a kiss on the cheek. "What–"

"-Maura I told you… Oh yay, you're still here!" The front door swung open once more and nearly gave the stunned delivery girl a heart attack. "Ah sorry, just didn't want to miss the garlic bread." Another female now stood upon the doorway. She has dark brown hair and brown amber eyes that stared expectantly at the person with her treats. "You have the garlic bread, right?"

"Ah yeah, I was…" Nevermind, she grumbled the thought as long fingers shuffled with the delivery bag once more.

"Great! Here ya' go." The garlic bread package was handed and once more, Jane found herself handed some bills. "Keep the change." Then the door closed.

"What just happened?"

Rizzles - Rizzles - Rizzles - Rizzles - Rizzles

"Hey sis, do you not like the pizza?" It had been almost half an hour now since they've gotten their lunch delivered and one brown haired girl already devoured her slice plus a couple of garlic bread sticks whilst another girl with honey blonde locks only had a bite of her pizza slice. "This place is new and I thought the food was really good."

"No, Cailin…" Correcting herself when she saw the concerned frown, the addressed girl replied. "No, I do like the pizza. It tastes very exquisite."

Grabbing another slice, Cailin shrugged. "Outta have your Paris tongue taste some real Italian. The restaurant is owned by an Italian family from what I heard." An eyebrow rose as she was only given a hum of a reply and her so called half-sister seemed to be back to her lala land. "Ah hello, Earth to Maura."

"Yes. Her features do match with the heritage."

"What are you talking about?" The blonde finally got out of her stupor and focused her hazel orbs to her company.

"Cailin, don't speak when your mouth is full." There was just an eye roll from the reprimanded.

"If you're not eating your garlic bread sticks–" Cailin just laughed when the said food was pulled away from her reach. So for another few more minutes of sharing pizza slices and hand swatting from garlic breads, the siblings finished their lunch.

"Okay, I'm off to my study group." The younger of the two stood by the kitchen doorway as she adjusted her bookbag and petted the resident pet of the house. "See you later, Bass. Don't wander off now you're here in Boston."

"He is more obedient than you." The older remarked as Maura finished cleaning up their dishes. "I will not start making excuses to our mother now, so do not be late coming home this evening." The blonde teased as she rounded the kitchen island and stood by the teenager.

"Yeah, as if you can lie." They started walking to the front door. Maura bid her sister farewell . "Sis, congrats again with your new job as the chief medical examiner and we don't regularly kiss people hello or goodbye here in America." Cailin scrunched up her nose as she rubbed her cheek before closing the front door behind her.

Rizzles - Rizzles - Rizzles - Rizzles - Rizzles

She slumped unceremoniously on the seat as the sign on the door was flipped to 'closed'. It was only the small gurgle of giggles that made her propped her head back up to stare at the approaching figures.

"Janie, don't slump all over the bench." An older woman scolded. Long arms extended as an eye roll was given back for a reply. "Sit up properly so you can hold him."

"Ma, it's not the first time I'm holding a kid." Successfully plucking the toddler from her mother's hip, the exhausted delivery woman bounced the little boy in her arms. "How'd ya do charming your customer's today huh little man?" She'd admit, if it wasn't for the bundle of joy, Jane would have given her younger brother her own scolding earlier when he called and asked for her help. Speaking of, Tommy came out of the kitchen and placed a freshly baked lasagna in front of his sister.

"Really saved my ass today, Janie. Thanks." Before anything else can be said, their mother snatched the baby away. Angela gave her oldest child a look.

"You are not sneaking lasagna again to my grandson. He is still too young." Putting her hands up in surrender, the guilty laughed sheepishly when the baby boy's father shot her a glare.

"Damn it. That's why he had that diarrhea!"

"Well little bro, It did not bother your stomach before when Frankie fed you things when you were a baby–ouch Ma!" TJ just watched with his innocent blue eyes the normal interaction of his family.

One lasagna done later, Jane cradled her sleeping nephew as they waited outside for Tommy to lock the doors of the restaurant. She adjusted the custom beanie of the child as she pondered how proud she was of her little brother as he turned his life around when TJ came to their lives. Albeit not the best circumstances of how the baby boy was not planned by either of the parents, Tommy had pulled through his rehab and started a business even when Lydia, the baby's mother left the picture. That's why even with her hectic schedule, the older sister put the effort in to help and normally will babysit but today their mother insisted having TJ as their mascot of the business, well the joint was indeed named after the boy.

"Thanks Janie." Handling over the sleeping bundle, the dark haired sister smiled and patted the younger man's shoulder.

"You're welcome, Tommy." They walked towards the two remaining cars parked outside the establishment. "Just next time, give me a heads up if you want me to do the deliveries." Gesturing to her clothes, Jane continued. "Or hand me a uniform shirt, not just the hat. I had to freaking chase a customer earlier when they thought I was going to arrest them." The sibling chuckled at the story.

"At least you're more discreet with your detective outfit than Frankie's cop uniform."
