Chapter 3: The power of chaos

Ok new upload this one is a bit longer than the others. Sorry for taking so long but I'm trying to balance this with my work life! Here the story continues to develope its going to take a lot of twists and turns for a while! Still planning to make each chapter a bit longer although it might take some extra time due to my busy schedule.

A moment of silence followed but was soon broken by Wanda yet again as she repeated the words with a slightly threatening tone of voice. "Peter Parker... what are you doing here?" Peter would take a few moments to catch on but once he did his eyes widened significantly as he looked at her with an extremely shocked look. She had called him by his full name somehow she knew him but how was that possible Peter would ask himself over and over not realizing that out of his thoughts time still passed by and Wanda grew impertinent so she looked into what Peter was thinking before repeating Peter's own thoughts out loud to him. "How is it possible? Peter I don't forget things that easily." It turns out Wanda was fully unaffected by the multiverse spell done by Doctor Strange so much so that she wasn't even aware that a spell like that had been made in the first place.

When Wanda spoke his thoughts out to him Peter freaked out even more as he quickly replied with a slight hint of panic in his voice. "H-how did you do that? How did you know I mean... like that was... totally awesome... and and... w-weren't you effected by the spell?"

Wand would chuckle to herself as she saw his reaction it was truly amusing to her, she would quickly reply in calm tone of voice quite a contrast from Peter's frantically panicked tone. "It's quite easy I can look into your mind." Wanda paused briefly before continuing with a more curious expression on her face. "Spell what spell are you talking about?" Before Peter could even answer Wanda would casually say. "There is no outside spell that can affect me. Trust me." She would chuckle to herself while looking at Peter.

Peter was a complete and utter emotional mess right now as he was trying to put everything together in his mind yet he kept on getting distracted. Peter responded extremely quickly as he said to her. "Y-you can't just look through my mind like that... I uh... you know it's just not cool.. I mean it is but..."

Wanda's reply was swift and with a slight cold expression. "Oh but of course I can. I do as I please… Now… Parker why are you here?" Wanda wanted to know if he had been sent by the Avengers. She just had to know since if it was the case it would most likely bring up a negative reaction from the Witch. She looked into his mind. Before Peter could even a utter a single word She would simply say. "Ah.. I see how it is. That explains your wounds too." The Scarlet Witch contemplated on wiping out his memory and sending him back to the city. She was seemingly obsessed of being alone. However a part of her did seek some company.

Peter would only speak in stutters for a bit as Wand was making up her mind. "Wait I- I uh…" Peter did see her as a possible threat but despite that if there was a person that could see the good in People it was Peter. As this was going on Wanda noticed something about Peter. The fact that much like her he was in deep internal pain. Parker showed almost none of that on the outside but the Scarlet Witch could easily tell from his thoughts and the energy he was emitting.

"Parker you can't expect me to just let you go right? You are here now and I can't allow you to reveal my location." Peter's reply was of course in a worried and somewhat panicked tone.

"Wait… Wait I… I won't tell anyone I swear! I mean what are you even doing here?" The Spider then quickly covered his mouth with both of his hands as he realized what he had said.

Wanda smirked somewhat she could tell that he meant no harm. However there was too much at risk for her and her mind was already set. Peter wasn't going anywhere. But the Scarlet Witch was still not sure as to how she wanted to deal with him, if she wanted to erase his memories or even end his life. Wanda's expression completely changed as she had to enforce her will upon anyone no matter their intentions.

"Oh is that so? You do realize what you have done by coming here right? As for now if I were you I would start worrying."

Peter heard what the witch said loud and clear. And a part of him was terrified fighting the Scarlet Witch wasn't ideal for him not even close however it was starting to become a possibility. Of course Peter tried his best to avoid such fate.

"I… I well I mean I didn't know… How could I? Maybe we could like… just forget about all of this and grab a coffee or something… I don't know… Uh."

Wanda listened and still remained amused as Peter joked in spite of the desperate situation. She didn't utter a single word for several seconds. However after that the Scarlet Witch broke the silence.

"Look behind you."

Just three words. Three words that sent shivers down his spine. The masked hero had no idea why she had said that. Yet he turned out of curiosity. What he saw shocked him to his core. Parker was standing in some kind of empty and dark void. Almost as if someone shut off the bright light of the sun. It was so quick and sudden it left him horrified.

"Where am I? What happened? I know I know… I… I tend to make jokes under tense and stressful situations… Um…. I'm uh… Sorry?"

His words were left unanswered as the Scarlet Witch was merely testing him toying around with him just so that she could decide his fate. Ultimately after putting Peter through a nightmare like scenario just for her amusement the Scarlet Witch would whisper into the quiet abyss.

"You only leave me one choice Parker."

Peter heard her whispers from all over the place he couldn't tell the source of the whispers which was frightening enough. Suddenly as it came the void would vanish in an instant only to be replaced by something that could be just as scary. The Scarlet Witch. At this point Peter contemplated on attacking the witch but as those thoughts crossed his mind his body would be left completely paralysed.

"I know it's hard. But you should keep your thoughts in check. Do you really dare to be the first to strike? No tell me Parker… do you?"

Wanda's tone of voice had completely shifted to a cold and threatening tone. All the while Peter replied in shock which made him stutter constantly.

"N-no… no I…I was just… just …um… thinking… you know… just in case… I mean… I don't know if-"

Wanda then suddenly interrupted him as she replied rather harshly while answering his own question. "Trust me? Correct?" Her eyes turned a deep red colour as she whispered directly into his mind. "Don't worry this will be painless."

Of course the first thing that Peter did was worry so much that his panic could almost be seen just like his shadow. The witch closed her eyes for several minutes. Then a simple yet dark and mysterious smirk made it onto the witch's face. The masked hero of course noticed however as soon as he did he could suddenly move again he let out a gasp before looking around. He was well aware that his time was up. Parker had to try something despite knowing that this might as well be the end of the line for him. After taking a deep breath Peter would take a huge leap forward towards the Scarlet Witch when suddenly everything went blank. It was just like the speed of light… Impossible to detect with your simple and limited eyesight. Before it started it was over…
