"You're right. I owe you so many debts, Subaru." Emilia looked down sadly.

"So I'll repay all of them now, and we'll end this."

"What do you mean?" Subaru cries out in anger

"You are no longer part of my camp, you are no longer welcomed at the Roswaal estate. I'm sorry Subaru but I can't deal with you anymore. I must win the Royal Selection. Please do not attempt to return, if you do I cannot guarantee your safety" Emilia said with a cold tone and blank face.

"Are you kidding? After all this your just going to leave me because of this? Maybe I was wrong about you... your just a bitch!" Subaru says with rage, and sadness as he's shedding tears.

"Goodbye Subaru" Emilia says closing the door.

Rem and Emilia leave and Subaru is left in a broken state.

'What the hell was the point of all of this? Why did I suffer so many deaths for it all too end like this? What is even the point of living? I want to die but I can't even kill myself this is some sort of twisted fucking hell. My entire point of living, purpose of continuing just left me, why should I even continue? What is the point of anything?'

Subaru was in the worse state he's ever been mentally. He simply laid in the bed he was given to recover after his fight with Julius. He was broken beyond repair. No purpose, no reason, nothing. If it wasn't for return by death he would've ended it right then.

Three days pass and eventually both Reinhard and Julius find out that Emilia has removed Subaru from her camp. Julius at first doesn't think much of it but Reinhard is beyond livid. Not only is Subaru the reason he found Felt the fifth candidate, but he knew the kindness Subaru had and the pain he must be going through.

Reinhard decides to go to the hospital which Subaru was still in, Felt actually wanted to ask Subaru to join there camp since Felt actually liked Subaru and Reinhard agreed on the proposal. When Reinhard and Felt make there way to the room Subaru was in Reinhard saw what state Subaru was in.

"Subaru it's Reinhard" Reinhard told the motionless body that was Subaru.

'Reinhard? Why is he here'

"Reinhard what do you want?" Subaru turned around to make eye contact.

Subaru didn't exactly have any issues with Reinhard, but he didn't really know what he would be visiting him for. He wasn't in the mood to be pitied.

"I'm here with Miss Felt, we heard what happened with you and Emilia and want to recruit you to Felt's camp" Reinhard told him

Reinhard activated his Divine Protection of Empathy and was shocked too see the emotions Subaru had. Despair, regret, hatred, anger, remorse, all directed towards himself. Reinhard begin to get worried about what mental state Subaru was in.

"Subaru are you alright?" Felt asked walking up to him. Felt saw bags under Subaru's eyes and his eyes were the eyes of a dead man. Eyes of someone who has given up on existing.

'I guess I got no reason to not tell them'

"I have no purpose, no reason to live. Emilia just threw me away like I was garbage and if I could I would die but I fucking can't. I'm starting to question if this world is hell, and me being summoned here was just some god's twisted was of torturing me" Subaru said no longer shedding tears as he couldn't anymore. He was emotionless, a void.

"Summoned?" Reinhard questioned remembering that his first encounter with Subaru and how he seemed to act like he was in a entirely new world

"I forgot I never told anyone. May as well. I'm not from this world Reinhard, I'm from a world called earth. I was randomly taken here one day and at first I thought this new world would be fun. I hated my old life I was a failure in every metric. I thought this would be a second chance of living a life I would enjoy, but then now looking back all I feel is regret for being such a failure not only in my previous world but this world as well. I had no purpose there and now I have no purpose here" Subaru said with his emotionless tone.

Reinhard realizing what he was saying, "Your from beyond the great waterfall. It's a term we use for people that appear in this world from another one"

Subaru begin questioning a few things. Reinhard just told him that there's a term for people sent to this world which means other's have been sent here as well. Subaru wondered what power was sending people to this world. He thought at first it was some weird other universe or something but there may be an actual method of how this world functions in relation to Earth.

"So others have been summoned here before?" Subaru asked with a little bit of emotion in his voice.

"Yes, most notably, the Great Sage who was one of the three hero's that sealed the Witch of Envy away. He was from beyond the great waterfall" Reinhard explained to him

'Weird. I wonder how that may be connected to my ability. As far as I can tell it's the Witch of Envy that granted me this power. But if she's sealed how exactly does that even work?'

"Please Subaru join my camp, you don't deserve what happened to you. That bitch Emilia was cruel to you and by just laying here doing nothing hating yourself, it's probably just exactly what Emilia wanted to happen to you" Felt said with anger towards Emilia

'She's honestly right. Emilia probably wants me to simply sit here suffering for however long I live in this world. If I join the Felt camp I can get revenge for what that bitch did and make sure she doesn't win the Royal Selection'

"If I join your camp, what will my role be?" Subaru asked as he did not want to be a butler again.

"Well, since your from another world, your knowledge from your other world is a invaluable asset, you will have a important role within the my camp" Felt told him

"So I'm not going to just be a butler or something?" Subaru asked

"Fuck no why would I make you a fucking butler?" Felt asked

"That was my role in Emilia's mansion" Subaru said with anger in his voice

"That fucking bitch, no you won't be some fucking butler" Felt said

Subaru thought about the the offer for a bit, thinking about any other routes that he could really take. This at least gives him a purpose, and allows him to get revenge. Not to mention currently he'd be homeless once he left the hospital.

"Alright Felt and Reinhard, I'll join but under one condition" Subaru said

"What?" Felt asked

"That we win, and we make certain that half-elf bitch doesn't win" Subaru said with revenge the only thing in his mind

"Works with me" Felt grinned and Subaru nodded.

Reinhard still sensing Subaru's emotions noticed he was becoming consumed by vengeance. But currently he thought that would be better then the state he was prior to them coming. Reinhard hoped that Subaru would slowly forget about Emilia and abandon the hatred he's clinging to as his purpose.

As Felt, Reinhard and Subaru leave the hospital, a massive argument is happening within Roswaal's mansion.

Roswaal after finding out what Emilia did had to fly back to his mansion to kill the witch cult and kill the Sin archbishop of Sloth. He was beyond annoyed, his entire plan for the future is failing due to Emilia's failures.

"Emilia, if you do not get Subaru back to join us then I will no longer support you in the selection, without a sponsor you know what that means" Roswaal says with anger and spite in his tone.

"What did I even do? Subaru was becoming a obstacle for me and winning the selection, I made the right choose" Emilia argued

"Shut up you stupid half-elf. You and you alone ruined everything. If you cannot fix the damage that you did not only will you never become King, but you'll never save the elves frozen in Eliof Forest" Roswaal said with anger.

Roswaal never thought Emilia would do something like this nor did his book even predict it. He was beyond angry as Subaru was the key to not only Emilia winning the throne but him obtaining his goals as well.

"Watch your tone with my daughter" Puck said glaring at Roswaal

"Oh now you want to butt in? You should have the intelligence to know both of you are powerless in this so do as I say and pray that Subaru decides to come back. You have two weeks to get Subaru to return or consider your dreams of saving your frozen elves gone" Roswaal spat leaving the two to think of a way to get Subaru to return.

"Why is all of this happening? Puck what do I do?" Emilia asked

"Not sure, but Roswaal holds all the power here, we can't really do anything about that" Puck informed her

"Alright well we have two weeks we'll try to think of a way to get Subaru to come back" Emilia says.

Emilia is angry at Roswaal but knows she can't do anything. She must get Subaru to come back or she and her goal will be gone forever.

Reinhard is currently showing Subaru around his estate. Subaru is both surprised and happy. Roswaal's mansion was a bit bigger but Reinhard's estate seemed to be much more peaceful. He would've never had to have worried about being killed by crazy maids, mabeasts or any of the other things he died over and over to eventually prevent. He felt a peace he's yet to feel since arriving in this new world.

"Alright Felt, Reinhard thank you for the opportunity you are giving me, I will try to help Felt to the best I can" Subaru says to the two

"It's no problem, it's the least I can do for you" Reinhard says smiling

"Yeah I agree" Felt said with excitement

Subaru wondered what he should do here, he can certainly use his previous world's concepts of economic and political strategies to help Felt win. But he also wanted to become stronger, so he can defend himself better in the future. Subaru still has no idea what the future may have for him and weakness is not an option.

"Alright well, Reinhard if you would be willing to help me train to learn how to use the sword, that would be great. I have no intentions of becoming a knight but I do want to be able to protect myself if I need too" Subaru told Reinhard

Reinhard smiles "No problem, tomorrow we can begin your training to become stronger, I look forward to it"

"Alright I'll see you guys in the morning thank you both for giving me a purpose to continue living" Subaru said with respect and headed to the guest room that he'd be sleeping in at Reinhard's estate.

'Well, things changed quickly but for the better. I'm now in a camp with the sword saint so odds of me getting killed is far lower now. I'm being treated with respect, not being toyed with like before by maids, not being betrayed and used like how Emilia did to me. I know Felt, I've know her in many times, many loops, she is a good person and honestly could win this selection.'

Subaru felt at peace, he could sleep without worrying about what hell may happen tomorrow, what sort of chaos may come. He felt almost lucky that things turned out this way. He wondered how much worse it may have gotten if he stayed with Emilia blinded by his love for her.

In Subaru's dreams he saw himself on a cross being stabbed over and over again by Emilia. She had some sort of twisted grin. Stabbing him over and over again. He simply watched his body slowly break apart until she slit his throat and beheaded him. His head was on the ground but she continued laughing as she crushed her foot in his head crushing his skull.

Subaru woke up gasping.

'Just a dream, just a dream relax'

Subaru got up, Reinhard and Felt were already eating breakfast and old man Ron was there too.

"Oh hey Subaru, it's been a while I heard ya joined Felt's camp. Glad too see you" Ron said smiling to Subaru

"Yeah, a lot of shit happened, but I'm glad to be here" Subaru smiled back sitting down hungry, he hasn't really ate anything the past three days.

The breakfast prepared by one of the maids was incredible, not as good as Rem's cooking but still amazing.

"So do you like the food?" Reinhard asked

"Yeah it's great thank you" Subaru said to the maid.

The maid bowed and returned to the kitchen.

"Alright after breakfast we will begin your training, I have a divine protection that allows me help train people, I hope you can handle it" Reinhard laughed

"I'll be fine" Subaru grinned remembering all the times he died. Training compared to that would be nothing.
