HI! So it's been forever since I've written a story so please go easy on me lol um so the story doesn't follow the anime of course and there will be some Uchiha bashing…honestly this story kind of hits close to home for me so please no nasty reviews if you don't have anything nice to say then please don't say it at all. It was a rainy day in the village but yet people were still running around as fast as they could to try to avoid the rain. Everyone except Sasuke Uchiha he was in his own little world, so much so that he hadn't noticed that it was raining. Sasuke was to busy thinking about his Dobe, they had gotten into a fight and Sasuke may have overreacted just a little bit..but honestly it was Naruto's fault he should have known that Sasuke wasn't ready for everyone to know about their relationship, he wasn't ready for anyone to know about his sexual preferences but Naruto insisted that they come out and tell everyone that they're dating. Sasuke shook his head as the fight replayed in his head.

Flashback

" Teme why do you always do this?" Naruto asked as he looked at his boyfriend of two months

"Naruto, will you please just drop it?! I don't feel like going over this again" Sasuke said as he turned to face away from the blonde idiot he really didn't want to talk about this again

"No! Not until you tell me why we can't come out to everyone" Naruto huffed

"Because" Sasuke said

"That's not an answer Sasuke!" Naruto said as he walked up to his boyfriend and turned him until they were face to face

"It's because you're embarrassed of me isn't it?" Naruto asked with a hint of sadness laced through his voice. He always thought that it was strange that Sasuke of all people would want to go out with him, he knew he was good looking and whatever but he didn't think that Sasuke would want to go out with him, so when Sasuke asked him out on a date it took him by surprise. After the the two had went on a date Sasuke had confessed that he had a crush on the blonde and he had it for a very long time, the two went on a few more dates before Sasuke asked Naruto if he would be his boyfriend Naruto agreed and was ready to tell the world about him and his boyfriend but when he brought it up to Sasuke the raven shot him down. Sasuke had said that he wanted to wait a little while before they told anyone, so that's what they did. They waited but Naruto was growing impatient. He wanted everyone to know that he and Sasuke were together but the stupid teme wouldn't agree to tell anyone. Naruto couldn't figure out why Sasuke was putting it off. That's when Naruto started thinking bad thoughts.

"Answer me….are you ashamed that we're together? Are you embarrassed by me?" Naruto asked again this time with tears welling up in his eyes

"No Naruto, I'm not ashamed to be with you! I'm just not ready to come out ok?" Sasuke sighed there was more to it but Sasuke just didn't know how to tell Naruto. Sasuke was scared he knew that once he came out that life as he knew it was over, not only would he be at risk of losing his family he might even lose his friends…ok maybe that last one was far fetched but he still had good reason to worry about coming out his parents weren't like Naruto's they were kind and loving his parents was the complete opposite. The only person in his family that he thought would stay by his side was his older brother Itachi, but even then he didn't want to put his brother in a position of having to choose between him and their parents in case they disapproved. Sasuke looked up at Naruto and seen that he was crying he sighed and went to give him a hug but Naruto pushed him back

"Either you tell everyone or we're done" Naruto said as he wiped the tears that was flowing down his face

"Naruto you don't understand…I can't" Sasuke said he'd hate to admit it but even he heard the desperation in his voice

"I mean it you have till the end of the week or I'm breaking up with you" Naruto said as he walked past Sasuke who had a blank look on his face. Sasuke didn't want to loose Naruto he really didn't in all honesty he loved the blonde idiot he had loved him since they were at the academy, that's why he always made sure to do something to get under his skin just knowing that Naruto was thinking about him in some sort of way made the Uchiha feel better.

Present

Sasuke had finally made it to his house. He was soaking wet and he didn't care all he wanted to do was take a very hot shower and lay down. He didn't want to talk to anyone, he just needed time to think about what he was going to do. As Sasuke made it to his room he heard footsteps approaching he sighed and looked and saw his older brother Itachi looking at him.

"I see you got caught in the rain storm" Itachi said with a slight smile

"Yeah I did…what are you doing here? I thought you and Deidara had plans" Sasuke said as he looked through his closet to find some dry clothes

"He has big brother duty at the moment" Itachi said as he leaned up against the wall with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face that only grew bigger when he seen Sasuke tense up

"Oh uh what's wrong with Naruto?" Sasuke asked with avoiding his brother's stare

"Well it seems that Naruto came home crying and is very upset and locked himself in his room…would you happen to know what he's crying about?" Itachi asked as he started to move closer to his little brother he knew that whatever was wrong with Naruto his little brother would know about it

"Nope no clue..I'm going to go get in the shower before I get sick" Sasuke said as he tried to rush past his brother but Itachi was to quick he grabbed him by the back of the shirt and waited till he heard Sasuke sigh

"We got into a fight ok?" Sasuke said defeated no matter how much he tried he could never lie to Itachi…his parents no problem but something about his big brother made him crack

"What was this fight about that made him run into his room and start crying?" Itachi asked as he tried to look at Sasuke's face

"'Tachi I really don't want to talk about this right now ok?" Sasuke said as he finally turned and looked at his elder brother

"Fine I'll leave it alone for now" Itachi said as he let Sasuke loose, he made his way to the bathroom and finally was able to take his shower. After about ten minutes Sasuke emerged from the bathroom in dry clothes he was exhausted he just wanted to lay down but when he made it to his room there sat Itachi and he didn't look happy

"'Tachi I said I don't feel like talking about what happened with Naruto" Sasuke said as he put his wet clothes into the hamper

"Sasuke I'm going to ask you this in the only way I know how…did you and Naruto get into a fight because he's gay?" Itachi asked with a serious tone

"What? Why would you ask me that?" Sasuke asked panicked he could feel his chest tightening and the room starting to spin, he couldn't believe that Naruto had outed them

"Because I just got off the phone with Deidara and he said that Naruto told him that he's gay" Itachi said

"Ok and what does that have to do with me?" Sasuke asked maybe Naruto hadn't outed him after all

"Well seeing that you were the last one with him and he went home crying I can only assume that he told you and you didn't take it so well…..Sasuke what did you say to Naruto?" Itachi asked

"I didn't say anything" Sasuke said while trying to keep his voice level

"Apparently you did or he wouldn't be upset" Itachi said

"'Tachi I didn't say anything to him about being gay" Sasuke said hoping that his brother believed him

"Sasuke I'm going to ask you one more time….what did you say to Naruto to make him upset?" Itachi asked this time with a little more force

"Why does it matter?!" Sasuke said raising his voice

"Because I'm not going to let you bully him because he's gay…..I will not deal with homophobia" Itachi said

"Bully him? If anything he's bullying me! Giving me ultimatums and shit" Sasiuke said

"Ultimatums? What are you talking about?" Itachi asked now confused

"'Tachi if I tell you what we fought about you have to promise me not to tell anyone and promise not to hate me" Sasuke said

"Squirt I could never hate you….what's going on?" Itachi asked still confused but now starting to worry a little bit

"Naruto told me that I have till the end of the week to come out and let everyone know that him and I are dating or he's going to leave me" Sasuke said while avoiding his big brothers gaze

"So that's it…he's mad that you don't want to come out?" Itachi asked

"He thinks that I don't want to because I'm embarrassed by him but I'm not 'Tachi….I-I just don't know how things will be once I do come out…..especially with mom and dad" Sasuke said as he stared at the floor

"Forget about them, what do you want to do?" Itachi asked

"I don't want to come out yet,,,and because of that I'm going to lose Naruto" Sasuke said sadly

"Maybe not…let me talk to Deidara and see if I can get him to calm Naruto down" Itachi said as he pulled out his phone

"'Tachi wait….you…you don't care that I'm gay?" Sasuke asked in a timid voice as he finally looked up at his older brother who had a smile on his face

"No squirt I don't care as long as you're happy that's all that matters to me" Itachi said and smiled even bigger once he saw the relief wash over his baby brother.

Time Skip- Friday

Friday had come so fast for Sasuke he had to come out to everyone and let them know that he and Naruto were dating or Naruto was going to dump him. Sasuke had tried to talk to the blonde but he kept avoiding him, he was making it obvious to their friends that they were fighting and that was really getting on his nerves. Sasuke had made his mind up he wasn't ready to let everyone know that he was gay, he sighed and text Naruto and told him to meet at their training spot Naruto agreed in the text and Sasuke just sat down under the big tree that he and Naruto had shared their first kiss under. Sasuke sighed this was it he was really going to lose Naruto, he looked up at the sky for what seemed like minutes until he heard footsteps he looked down and saw Naruto coming towards him with a big smile on his face it hurt him to know that in just a few moments that smile would be gone.

"Teme!" Naruto yelled

"I'm right here Naruto stop screaming" Sasuke said

"You're no fun….so what are we doing out here?" Naruto asked

"Naruto I'm sorry" Sasuke said as he tried to keep tears from rolling down his face

"Sorry for what?" Naruto asked in confusion

"I-I can't come out yet….I'm sorry" Sasuke said

"You're really not going to do it?!" Naruto asked with his voice raising in the end, he had thought for sure that Sasuke would man up and tell everyone

"I can't…I'm not ready and you forcing me to choose isn't helping…so I'm sorry but it-it's over" Sasuke said, he wanted to take it back immediately and tell Naruto it was all a joke and that sure he'd go and publicly announce that he was gay but he couldn't, he couldn't take the words back, he couldn't come out, he couldn't stop his heart from breaking as he seen the crest broken look on Naruto's face. Naruto didn't say anything, he turned around and walked away leaving Sasuke alone under the tree.

Time Skip 2 Weeks Later

It had been a miserable two weeks for Sasuke. He had broken up with Naruto because he was too scared to come out to anyone other than his brother, he had avoided Naruto at all cost, he actually avoided everyone at all cost. He had slipped into a depression, he wasn't taking care of himself, he was withdrawing from any and everyone and Itachi was getting worried he had tried to talk to his baby brother but he had been busy with missions so there was never a good time to talk. Sasuke had taken to a new habit of drinking he would steal liquor from his dad's stash and get completely wasted at first he had it under control but that soon began to change, what time Itachi was at the house he often thought that his little brother may be drunk but he couldn't prove it without getting Sasuke in trouble. Itachi planned on talking to Sasuke at dinner that night he had finally gotten back from his mission and his mother wanted them all to sit down and eat together, as they all sat down to eat Itachi could tell the Sasuke was drunk he could smell it just sitting beside him and Itachi wasn't the only one who smelled it.

"Sasuke, why do you smell like alcohol?" Fugaku asked

"Cause I've been drinking" Sasuke slurred

"Where did you get alcohol?" Fugaku asked

"Your liquor stash" Sasuke chuckled

"Who said that you could go in there?!" Fugaku asked angrily

"No one but I've had a pretty shitty two weeks so could you just lay off?" Sasuke asked as he laid his head on the table

"L-Lay off?! Get your ass up now! You have nothing to trouble you to the point of drinking! Your just a child" Fugaku said as he stood getting ready to grab Sasuke

"Oh but I do though….you see father I'm gay and because I didn't come out I lost my boyfriend so yes I have plenty of reason to drink" Sasuke said not noticing the look on his father's face, he grabbed Sasuke by his hair and slung him into the wall, Sasuke fell to the floor and was soon hit with a flurry of attacks. Sasuke tried to put his arms up to protect himself but it didn't work he felt every punch that his father threw at him, it seemed like it went on for hours before it finally stopped all Sasuke could hear was yelling, he tried to look up and see what was going on but his eye was almost swollen shut he could hardly make out the figure that was his brother who was holding their dad back. Sasuke passed out in a heap on the kitchen floor.

Next Day

That next morning Sasuke woke up with a splitting headache not to mention that his whole body hurt, as he tried to sit up a pain shot through his back making him whimper in pain…what the hell had happened? He then noticed that he could only see out of one eye he slowly made his way out of bed and to the bathroom and saw that he had a swollen black eye, busted lip, and a few more bruises on his face and chest….seriously what the hell had happened last night? Sasuke made his way down to the kitchen where he's greeted by Itachi cooking breakfast when he heard footsteps. Itachi turned around and showed that he also had a busted lip but in spite of that he still smiled.

"Good morning…you feel ok?" Itachi asked as he flipped the egg that was in the pan

"I feel like I've been hit by a bus…and what happened to you?" Sasuke asked as he sat down

"Well last night you told mom and dad that you're gay and that you had been stealing dad's liquor…and it didn't go so well" Itachi said as he set the last piece of breakfast food on the table

"I did what?!" Sasuke asked hoping that he had heard wrong

"You came out last night….mom and dad didn't take it so well and dad got physical with you and I had to stop him but he did manage to get a shot on me" Itachi said as he looked at his little brother who at the moment looked like he wanted to die

"Where are they now?" Sasuke asked

"They left last night…said something about they need a few days to think about what they want to do" Itachi said

"What do you mean?" Sasuke asked

"Are they going to kick me out?" Sasuke asked starting to sound panicked

"Maybe but don't worry I got your back squirt….if they do then we'll find a place of our own to live, that way we can be free to whoever we want to be" Itachi said

";Tachi I'm so sorry I didn't mean to drag you into this" Sasuke said as he dropped his head down trying to fight back tears, this is what he was afraid of…how his parents reacted. Sasuke wanted to die, he never meant to get Itachi involved yet that's exactly what happened, as he sat at the table he heard the doorbell ring…soon Deidara and Naruto walked into the kitchen.

"Baby are you ok?" Deidara asked as he rushed over to Itachi who at this time was laughing at how fast Sasuke's head shot up

"Baby?" Sasuke asked

"Yeah I'm gay too squirt….Deidara and i have been going out for about a year now" Itachi said

"Um Teme can we talk?" Naruto asked as he looked at a beaten Sasuke, he nodded and led them to his room

"This is why you didn't want to come out wasn't it?" Naruto asked

"Yeah…I didn't know how they'd react but we definitely know now" Sasuke said as he sat on the bed

"I'm sorry that I pushed you…I just thought that….well I don't really know what I thought but I'm sorry" Naruto said as he sat down next to Sasuke, he interlaced their fingers together

"Give me another chance?" Naruto asked

"Of course I will Dobe," Sasuke said as he leaned in and gave Naruto a peck on the lips. As they sat there just enjoying each other's company Sasuke couldn't help to think about what would happen with his parents he sighed and tried to push it out of his mind all that mattered to him was that he had Naruto back and the rest he would take one step at a time.

Alrighty so not sure if I should turn this into a chapter story or leave as is. Once again this has been the first story that I've written in a while so please go easy on me in the reviews. I hope you enjoyed it :)
