"Wanna do something fun?"
Janner rubbed his eyes. His annoying 15 year old brother had woken him out of a peaceful sleep.
"No Kal, I'm tired. It's like midnight!"
Kal yawned. "I'm not tired."
Janner glared at his brother. "Out." He pointed at his door.
Kal ignored him. "I'll get Leeli and Sara to help us."
At the mention of his girlfriend, Janner sat up. "Say what?"
"Come on, we rarely ever have fun anymore." Kal said.
"What're you wanting to do?" Janner asked.
"Just...a few...small pranks." Kal grinned.
Janner fell back on his bed. "No."
"Pleeaaase?" Kal begged. He got on his hands and knees in front of Janner's bed. "Pleaaase?"
Janner sighed. "Fine."
"So, that's the plan." Kal said, looking at everyone. All four teenagers had been taking in Kal's room.
"Question." Sara said. "Why did you wake us up in the middle of the night for this? It couldn't have waited till morning?"
Janner nodded his head. "I pretty much asked the same thing."
Leeli yawned. "Why. Why tonight."
"WAKE UP!" Kal said. "We're gonna have fun!"
'I'm not sure that being half-asleep while doing something you hate will be fun." Janner stated. "Who are we even gonna prank?"
Kal grinned. "Uncle Artham."
Leeli shook herself to wake up. "Okay, now I'm interested."
Janner rolled his eyes as he fell back on Kal's bed. "He'll kill us if he finds out."
"Nah, I'm sure he'll be merciful." Kal said.
"Do you know him at all?" Janner asked.
Kal chuckled. "Yes."
"Then clearly you haven't ever listened to him talk."
Kal rolled his eyes. "Come on! Let's get a move-on!"
It was morning at the castle. The birds were singing. Artham had just gotten out of bed. His wife, Arundelle was already out of bed. Probably helping make breakfast in the kitchen, he thought. He quickly got ready for the day, and noticed something strange. The neat dresser that sat beside the door to his room was slightly turned different.
Hmm, that's strange, he thought. He examined it from afar, and quickly realized why it was like that.
There was a string, a light, strong, clear thread running behind it. Artham followed the string, and saw as it headed behind the bed frame and all the way to his nightstand. He laughed. Kal and his pranks. Artham then saw as the string headed under the door to his room, and when Artham opened his door, a bucket of ice-cold water fell on him. When Artham tried to take a step futher, another bucket dumped out, this time being filled with feathers. Artham was a sight to see, being soaked to the skin and covered with a layer of feathers.
Laughter was heard as Artham backed up into his room and shut the door. Kal, Janner, Sara, and Leeli crept up to his door. They could hear him laughing about the prank.
"Well, he took it well." Kal whispered.
Janner shook his head, then tried to hold back laughter.
Arundelle came walking down the hall, and noticed the four teenagers laughing.
"He fell for it?" She asked, slightly smiling.
Kal nodded his head.
Artham swung the door open and glared at the five of them. His eyes lingered on Kal. "Is this your doing?"
Kal stuttered for words. He barely managed to nod his head dumbly.
Suddenly, Artham reared back and laughed hard.
His laughter was heard throughout the castle.
