TW: mention of suicide

"He is being such a girl!" Bo complains as the three of you walk through the warehouse Kenzi broke into, shining her flashlight around the dimly lit muggy abandoned building. It's not exactly the place a girl wants to be in. The three of you are meeting someone here, a larger man that has information for Bo. Bo, your dark-haired friend, is a succubus and fae. Fae are magical creatures of all kinds, you and Kenzi only found out about this a few weeks ago. And the two of you were living with Bo at an abandoned house that she didn't pay taxes for. Kenzi met Bo at a bar when she was almost assaulted by a man who drugged her, she managed to steal his wallet before drinking the spiked drink, and when he entered the elevator with her, Bo followed and killed him. By sucking his soul out after acting like she was about to make out with him. Kenzi recorded it all on her iPhone 5, much to Bo's dismay.

And a week later, you were introduced to Bo while she and Kenzi were investigating a murder at the strip club you worked at. Not as a dancer or anything, but as a bartender, but there wouldn't be anything wrong with it if you were a dancer, "Why? Because wolf boy's tired of you life-sucking him whenever the mood hits?" Kenzi jokes, shining her flashlight around the dimly lit warehouse, there are windows but they're far above the ground, "You're right what an asshole!" She teases with a chuckle.

"It is not like he's not getting anything out of it," Bo says as the three of you walk past a large pillar, "Trust me." She adds, and you and Kenzi glance at each other and grimace. You both knew what that meant, and it wasn't anything family-friendly.

"Okay first off, ew, secondly, obviously you can't have Dyson and Doctor hot pants anymore. Time to pick a team dude." Kenzi says, shining the flashlight around in search of the man you were supposed to be meeting. Bo is holding a duffel bag in her hand full of blood for the vampire you were meeting. Information in exchange for food. Seemed like a good deal to you.

"Teams are stupid," Bo comments dismissively, distracted with the task at hand. You shine your flashlight around, wondering where this guy could be as you walk through the warehouse.

"She's right, Bo. You can't just sleep with both of 'em." You comment as you step on some plastic tarp, the sound makes you jump and Kenzi chuckles at you.

Near the end of the warehouse, you notice some more tarps laid out on the floor and on the wall, construction must be underway. Kenzi steps over some of it, almost tripping on the clear plastic covering, "Are you sure this is where we're supposed to meet this guy?" She asks suspiciously. And she had a right to be, the place was a little scary. But nothing the three of you couldn't handle. You and Kenzi started training with Bo as soon as you found out magical creatures existed, it would serve you well to be prepared.

"Yeah, this place is a little bit... fucking weird?" You remark, a shiver running down your spine as you shine the flashlight around. Kenzi spins around, looking around the room you're in, you turn to look at your Russian friend. She's wearing a blonde wig today, a sharp contrast to her black hair. She has a love for stealing wallets and scamming people for money, so she was pretty useful to keep around, that's the way Bo saw it.

"Yeah, but it'll be a short meeting," Bo says from behind you, sounding a little angry. You furrow your brows and turn around, finally getting a look at the man. He's hanging by his neck from a chandelier in the ceiling, tied up with a rope. Suicide?

Kenzi's still distracted, "Why?" She asks, turning around to look at Bo before her eyes find the dead man.

"Cause he's dead," You say flippantly, nodding over at the large man.

Kenzi points her flashlight at him, he's wearing tight beige pants with a dark green jacket, "Ouch," She says, "Yeah we really need to start hanging out with a different class of people." She continues, and you laugh despite yourself and Kenzi grins at you.

The three of you walk further into the room, still holding your flashlights. You make your way in front of him, "What do you think?" Bo asks, looking over at you and Kenzi.

"Well if it's suicide I think he should've seriously rethought his last outfit," Kenzi says dryly, tilting her head to get a good look at the dead vampire. And she wasn't completely wrong, the outfit didn't flatter him in any way. His eyes are closed, and his lids are grey. Maybe that was one of the only ways to tell a vampire apart from a human. You didn't know.

Kenzi and you are both humans, something you're a little sad about. There are so many faes in the world, why can't you be one too? The man's head shoots up and he hisses, tugging at the rope around his neck, Kenzi tenses up and holds a sword in front of her defensively. Bo holds her arm out, shielding both of you from the danger. You shift your weight onto your back leg, ready to lunge forward.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" He holds a hand out defensively, stopping Kenzi from swinging at him, "Relax, I'm on your side." He says, fangs exposed. You and Kenzi look at Bo, a little confused. Why would a vampire pretend to commit suicide? You had no idea.

"Can you call off your human?" He asks snidely, and Kenzi directs her glare at him, blue eyes narrowed and fierce. You glare at him too, offended by his use of the word. Like she was dog shit on his shoes.

Bo looks at Kenzi and she lets the sword hang loose by her side, you relax too, even though you wouldn't have done much damage with just a flashlight in your hand, "Sorry, thought you were dead," Bo says sarcastically, holding her hands out in front of her, "What's with the noose?" She asks, and you're glad. You had the same question running through your mind.

"Eh, unrelated business disagreement." He says, chuckling dryly at the memory of what must have been a pretty strange evening. He's pulling the rope away from his neck, it's very thick and he doesn't have any rope burn. Vampires can heal fast, check that off in your supernatural encyclopedia.

The man laughs, "Dead!" He says it like it's ridiculous, using his inhuman strength to lift himself up and out of the rope, dropping onto the floor soundlessly, "As if a little lynching could kill me." You and Kenzi are staring at him, unimpressed. He didn't look very old, he even had eyeliner on. Weird.

"I'm mildly insulted." He says teasingly, stepping closer to you and your friends. Something inside you told you to run away from this man but you don't, instead, you stand next to Kenzi, gazing suspiciously at the man.

"I mildly apologize," Bo says, and the vampire gnashes his teeth playfully, growling as he does so. You can't help but feel like this is a little bit awkward.

"So," Bo begins, dropping the duffel bag on the floor in front of the vampire. In exchange for bags of blood, he would supply Bo with information on her mother and her whereabouts, "What's this information I'm gonna be dying to have?" She asks, looking down at the man as he falls to his knees, unzipping the bag and pulling out a bag of blood with a dark chuckle.

"What if I said I found your mother?" He asks, and Bo doesn't waste any time lunging forward, lips pursed and forehead vein pulsing. She grabs the vampire by his throat, squeezing right.

"I'd say you better not be messing with me, Siegfried." She says through gritted teeth, holding the man up in the air. The man chokes and his eyes widen, he brings his hand up out of his jacket pocket.

Bo snatches something from him, a slip of paper, you look over her shoulder. It's an envelope, she opens it quickly, pulling a newspaper clipping out. The woman strongly resembles Bo, "Is this her?" She demands, entranced by the picture. You understand, but not entirely. Bo was adopted and has never met her mother.

"For 20 blood bags?" He scoffs, furrowing his brows, "You wish. That's as far as I got on the trail, the rest is up to you. She's out of my reach." Kenzi's looking at the picture now as well.

"Lou Ann Heidinger?" Bo reads the woman's name.

Kenzi scoffs, "Let's go, short fat and fangy here is playing us." She says, recognizing the woman in the newspaper clipping.

"What do you mean?" You ask, not understanding her point.

"I've seen her all over the news, and not only is she on death row but she's on the other side of the border, genius. Her execution is in like 3 days, very convenient." Kenzi scolds, tilting her head and glaring at the vampire. At the news, Bo looks up from the picture and at the man who lead her to what felt like a dead end.

"I said she had the answers, I didn't say you had a lot of time to get them." He explains, bringing the blood bag up to his face so he can sniff the contents. You sigh and click your flashlight off as he begins to feed, piercing the bag of blood with his fangs and groaning at the taste.

Bo scoffs, a little disgusted, "Let's get out of here." She says to you and Kenzi, and you follow her through the warehouse and out into an alley. Kenzi pulls out her phone when you get outside, sending a quick text to her brother about something. Bo hands her flashlight to you and explains that she has a doctor's appointment. Kenzi teases her, Bo's bisexual and she's sleeping with her Doctor, a human working for the light fae. The light fae are the "good" faeries, and the dark fae are the "bad" faeries. When Bo found out she was fae, she had a choice, join the dark side or the light side. She chose neither and became one of the only unaligned fae in the country. The doctor was introduced to her by Dyson, someone she's also sleeping with. To heal her wounds, Bo has to sleep with someone and suck their life force out. It's better if you have a willing participant instead of just a body.

You and Kenzi head back to Bo's shitty abandoned house to wait for her to get back, "If you were Bo, who would you choose?" You ask the girl as she tugs up her curly blonde wig so she can scratch her head. The two of you are sitting on the couch, not the best couch, but it was better than the floor.

Kenzi sighs, "Neither of em, I'd choose Hale." She says, a grin on her lips. Your eyes widen and you lean back in surprise, you didn't expect that. Hale is a siren of some sort, he once whistled to knock you out, and he was pretty powerful. You didn't expect Kenzi to have any interest in him, considering they've only had a few conversations so far. And he was quite a player.

While the two of you gossip about Bo and her love life, said woman busts inside, making both of you jump in surprise, "Jesus Bo!" Kenzi complains, standing up, "We ready to go?" She asks, holding a hand against her racing heart, and you can't help but wonder where exactly you guys were going.

"Uh... where are we going?" You ask once the three of you are outside, Bo doesn't bother locking the door behind her. Nobody would break in, and if they did, it would be a homeless guy Bo could eat.

Bo looks back at you for a moment, "I just came back from the station," She's referring to the police station, where Dyson and his partner Hale work together to solve crimes, "He told me where to find Lou Ann, so I'm gonna be closer to finding my mother." You understood, she could be very persuasive when she wanted to be. Especially when it came to information about her mother.

The three of you walk through the hallways of the prison, it was only a few hours away, a little past the border, and you stare up at a mirror connected to the ceiling, at your reflection. Bo is dressed the same as always, leather jacket and a low-cut T-shirt with her cleavage exposed, her secret weapon, paired with black slacks and heeled boots.

Bo is in a tight spot at the moment, and not just with all the mysteries the three of you are working to solve. She has to choose between two beautiful people. One human and the other a werewolf. There were many pros and cons, one being that it would be dangerous for Bo to feed on the human while feeding on the werewolf wouldn't hurt him. Lauren, the Doctor is sweet and very smart, she knows everything about fae and how the different types of fae heal. You preferred her over Dyson. Dyson smelled like a wet dog.

"Now Lauren's acting jealous, I swear." She says like you wouldn't believe her. And you do, but it annoys you to hear about this shit. She complained pretty consistently about it and her emotional turmoil. You liked hearing about her missing mother more.

You groan, "Bo is this really what you're thinking about right now? You're about to meet your mom. Or a very convincing Doppelgänger." Kenzi nods from beside you, agreeing. Bo rolls her eyes as the three of you walk closer to security.

"Here," Kenzi says, handing Bo a small black notebook, "I owe about a million favors for the rush job on these." It's a fake ID, so there's no paper trail saying the three of you visited a baby killer.

Bo grins as Kenzi stalls behind her, walking through the x-ray machine, "Nice Job." She says, putting her phone and keys in the tub next to the machine. The security guard grabs her wrist to stop Bo and begins using his metal detector on her.

"This is crazy..." Kenzi says under her breath as the man scans up and down her body. You're behind her, waiting your turn to be scanned impatiently.

"Special Agent Krasner and associates, we're here to conduct a final profile." Bo gets into character, flashing the badge at the security guard who's sitting with a clipboard in his hand. Kenzi turns around to allow the man to scan the back of her. He doesn't find anything, obviously.

The man takes a second to look down at the list, glancing up at Bo and then back down, he hums, "No," He shakes his head, "I don't see you on the list." The man with the metal detector scans you, a little faster than Kenzi. You're thankful, this was already torture.

"Sure you do," Bo snaps the badge shut and leans down toward the man, "Right," She closes in on him, grabbing his hand, "Here." She says, a smirk gracing her lips. A rush of light runs through Bo's hand and travels through his, he visibly relaxes, a dumb smile on his face. She uses his/her hand to point at one of the names on the list. He's staring into her eyes like she's the patron saint of Canada.

He laughs and leans back, "Okay, go right in Agent." He chuckles again, staring up at the brunette in wonder.

"And if you need anything," He says while buzzing the three of you inside, "Just call me."

Kenzie whispers in Bo's ear, "I bet you've never paid for a single speeding ticket." She's being so loud you're surprised the officers aren't suspicious in any way. But the police weren't known much for their imagination. They had no idea what Kenzi was talking about. But you nudge her anyway, raising an eyebrow. Humans aren't even supposed to know about fae, but you and Kenzi aren't afraid.

You're led down a bunch of hallways and through too many doors, finally, you make it into a room. The visitor's section, probably. There are bars on the walls and a few tables scattered around the room. Quickly, you and your friends sit down, waiting for the arrival of the baby killer.

You hear the sound of buzzing when the door glides open and a woman is escorted in by her shoulders. She looks just like Bo, same mouth shape and everything. Same piercing brown eyes and beautiful brown hair. This had to be her mother. Kenzi spots her and leans back in her chair, shocked, "What do you want?" The woman asks quietly as she sits down, obviously not in the mood for whatever was about to happen here.

"Well first off, we aren't really cops,"

"She knows," Bo says immediately, leaning on her crossed arms to get a closer look at the woman. Kenzi looks over at her, surprised.

Bo is glaring at the woman, mouth set in a hard line, "She's fae." She announces to both of you, sending your eyebrows flying up your forehead. That was an even bigger shock. How could a fae let the humans imprison them? She must have just let them take her.

"I'm looking for my mother. I was told that you might know who she is." Bo gets to the point immediately, tilting her head and hardening her eyes.

"I don't even know who you are." The woman scoffs, casually sitting in one of the uncomfortable metal chairs provided for you. Her orange jumpsuit is unbuttoned a little, exposing her white crew-neck T-shirt. If the vampire's outfit was bad, hers was horrible. Nobody could pull off that shade of orange.

"She sent me to be raised by humans if that rings any bells." She says through gritted teeth, slightly irritated by all this.

"You're the foundling." The woman leans back in her chair, jaw-dropping for a moment in surprise.

You have no idea what that means, but of course, you'd get a definition soon, "I've heard about you," The woman seems to smile slightly, "Even in here." Any trace of a smile is gone as she says this, reminded of her lack of freedom.

She shrugs one of her shoulders, feigning indifference, "Just rumors though, nothing that could help you." It sounds like a lie to you, and Kenzi seems to think so as well.

"Are you sure you don't know anything?" Bo demands.

"Believe it or not, I am the last person that would want to keep a mother from their child." She says, and you tilt your head, remembering the newspaper article from earlier, Baby Killer Sentenced. You raise one of your eyebrows, unconvinced.

The woman, tired of this, stands up, nodding her head at one of the guards, "Someone's wasting your time, and you're wasting mine." She says, waiting for the door to glide open so she can go back to her cell.

"Siegfried sends his best," Bo says quickly, trying to get a reaction out of the woman. The woman turns around fast, setting her gaze on Bo, she seems like she recognizes his name.

"Never heard of him." She lies, disappearing out of the room and down the hallway to her cell, where she'd rot for 3 days until her execution.

"Well, that sucked." You sigh, leaning back in your chair and shaking your head.

"Rude and anti-climactic," Kenzi affirms, a disappointed look on her face.

"Something's wrong," Bo says, standing up and heading over to the exit, "I don't think Siegfried would just lie to me like that." You can't help agreeing, Bo was scary. And if he lied to her, he knew she would hunt him down.

Kenzi laughs, "Why? Did he find vampire Jesus?" She asks sarcastically, standing behind Bo beside you.

"No, he knows I'm gonna turn around and kick his ass if he did lie." The door opens and the three of you begin to walk through the hallways.

"There's something else going on here," Bo says, and you and Kenzi shake your head at each other and follow her down the blinding white hallways. The place felt like a mental hospital and a high school mixed. Disgusting.

A few hours later, in the evening, you, Kenzi, and Bo are crowded around autopsy and crime scene photos. Kenzi dips a tortilla chip in a bowl of salsa, opening a folder, and takes a look at the photos as she eats.

The vampire you met earlier, Siegfried, died. He stuck his hand in the drain and turned the garbage disposal on, among other things, "Siegfried didn't go easy," She says, shuffling through the pictures, "Someone made an amusement park out of his pain receptors." Kenzi says, looking up at Bo, who's holding a different folder and flipping through all the documents inside.

"There's nothing in Lou Ann's file either," Bo says, stepping toward the two of you with a sad look on her face, "There's no connection to Siegfried or me."

"Okay. So forensics proved that Lou Ann drowned her step-kids and then set the house on fire to cover it." Bo continues, and Kenzi hums, taking in the information. You're a little more surprised by this but you try not to react strongly.

"Siegfried wasn't drowned by any chance?" Bo asks, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear

"Nope, heart cut out while he was still alive." You say, making a face at the thought, your chest hurts just thinking about it.

Bo furrows her eyebrows, "What?" She says in disbelief, "Let me see that." She holds her hand out and you pick the file up off the table, passing it over to her. She turns around to read it, her mouth dropping open in shock.

"There's no way a human got close enough for this," She says, tilting her head, "It's gotta be some type of fae..." She flips through the pictures, coming back to the one at the very top, "Why are there no defensive wounds?" Bo asks, staring at the dead body of the vampire. Earlier, you had the same thought. There wasn't any skin under his nails, no scratches, nothing to prove he fought back at all. It didn't make sense to you, a guy like Siegfried would never just commit suicide, especially not like that.

Bo continues questioning the two of you, "The report say anything about ligature marks, sedatives?" She's asking Kenzi, looking at her over her shoulder, she's wearing a boat-neck shirt, a grayish purple color.

Kenzi shakes her head as she stares at the report on the computer, curly blonde hair bouncing, "Nope. No restraints, no drugs." She says, shrugging her shoulders.

Bo sighs, closing the file, "How is that even possible?" Kenzi asks no one in particular, looking at Bo who seems to have figured something out.

You and Bo are back in the prison, without Kenzi, she was at the bar. Trick's Bar. Trick is a light fae and the owner of a light fae bar, Dal Riata. He was a very important member of your little group. He has extensive knowledge of fae and all different kinds of fae. Lou Ann protested when she first saw you and Bo, but Bo said something that kept her attention, "You didn't do it." She says to the imprisoned woman.

"What are you talking about?" Lou Ann asks, and you let out a deep exasperated sigh. When would this woman just stop her games? She was dying in 2 days for Christ's sake.

"You know what." Bo reaffirms, leaning back and crossing her arms, "Someone was controlling you, someone made you kill those kids." She's whispering all of this, the guards had enough imagination to piece together that conversation.

Lou Ann's eyes water and she frowns, "Lukas, Jacob, and Cody. They have names," She says, looking down at the wooden table, "And why does it matter now?" She asks hands cuffed together under the table.

"They're gonna execute you for something you didn't do." Bo is a little louder now, slightly irritated by her dismissal of the situation, looking over Lou Ann's shoulder at a nosy guard.

"I meant, to you?" Lou Ann asks brows furrowed.

"Because I still think that we are connected somehow." Bo rests her palm on the table as she explains this to the woman, "And we just need more time together to figure out how."

"Maybe we can help each other." Bo says, "How did things go so wrong for you?" She asks solemnly.

"I fell in love with a human." Lou Ann explains eyes rimmed with tears and voice almost breaking, "I knew the rules and I ignored them." She says, sounding disappointed with herself.

"It seems crazy now." Lou Ann says looking away from Bo, and Bo shakes her head and looks down at the table.

"It's not that crazy," Bo says, and Lou Ann's head snaps forward to look at her.

"Did he know what you were?" It's the first question you ask Lou Ann, and she looks at you like she just remembered you were in the room too.

"No," She scoffs, shaking her head, "God no. And the more I loved him and the boys... the more I tried to cut myself off from my clan to protect them." A year escaped Lou Ann's eye and she wipes it with the back of her hand, she lets out a humorless laugh, "Guess I didn't do a very good job." Her face twitches and her lip quivers as she tries not to break into sobs.

"Are you saying the boys were killed to punish you for choosing humans?" Bo asks, face a mask of disgust. She couldn't believe the dark fae clan could be so cruel, she was glad she didn't choose either of them. They both had strange customs and bad people on their side.

"I'd say they did a pretty good job, wouldn't you?" She says sarcastically, pursing her lips and letting a few more tears escape her eyes.

"Listen, I have a friend. She's connected with the Light Elders. I can get an audience with The Ash. He won't let this stand. I'm gonna get you out of here." Bo says, trying her best to be helpful. The Ash is the leader of the light fae, and their territory, if anyone could save Lou Ann, it would be him.

The woman's jaw drops in shock and she stares at Bo in disbelief.

After Bo went to the Ash to speak with him about Lou Ann, he didn't take too kindly to her not choosing a side and then asking him for help. And he didn't care at all about Lou Ann, "it's a matter for the dark fae." He had said. He didn't care whether she lived or died because he didn't control the dark fae and had no jurisdiction over their land. It was an extremely short visit, and an unhelpful one. The dark fae could be dangerous if Bo gets herself involved with their business, and you're a little worried about it. She also met with another man, the only dark fae she knew of. And he sort of threatened her and told her what she was doing is too high profile. And that's one of the reasons why Bo won't join the dark side, they don't care about their own. But the light fae didn't seem to care either, so she knew she made the right decision, neither. But the dark fae told her he'd find information for her, and left her with a warning "be careful".

You and Kenzi are on the couch, both of you have controllers in your hand. The sound of gunshots echoes through the living room from the TV, where the two of you are playing Death of the Hooker Robots 3. Alternative music is playing from the speakers, Kenzie picked it, "I have had a shit day!" Bo calls from inside the dining room, putting her purse on the table. She's standing next to the vending machine, taking off her oversized black coat.

You and Kenzi smile and continue playing the game, shooting at the robots as you walk down the street, "Anyone wants me I'll be in the world's longest-hottest bath." Bo says, leaning down so she's in between you and Kenzi. She kisses both of you on the cheek and begins heading upstairs.

"And I will be saving the world from robot hookers," Kenzi says, inclining her head as she speaks, not looking away from the screen, "You're welcome," She adds.

"See ya." You call, spraying the robots with bullets, blue blood sprays from their wounds. Kenzi's still wearing her curly blonde wig under her black beanie. You don't know why, her head must be sweaty and itchy. But she was used to it, you supposed. Most times you saw her, she was usually wearing a wig or just a beanie. Only sometimes did she wear her hair naturally.

The hairs on the back of your neck begin to stand and you whirl around, neglecting the game, Kenzi does the same. She notices this and looks at you, and the both of you shake your heads. Paranoid. You roll your eyes and continue shooting the robot prostitutes.

Some dust falls from the ceiling and both of you look up at a crack, "Bo?" Kenzi calls warily, suddenly the two of you hear screaming. Kenzi pulls the katana out of the couch where she hides it and you pull your pocket knife out of your bra, jumping off the couch and sprinting toward the staircase. Kenzi jumps over the couch, following you up the creaky wooden stairs and into the bathroom where Bo is being tossed around by a dark-skinned man with blonde dreadlocks and large sharp teeth.

"Bo!" Kenzi cries and the man looks up at the two of you, hissing, eyes wide and crazy. This doesn't deter him though, he grabs Bo by her silk robe, tossing her across the room and into the wall. She falls to the floor with a thud and weakly stands up, leaning against the wall for support.

Through gritted teeth, "Hey fuckface!" You call, distracting him for long enough so that Bo can tear a piece of wood from the wall he threw her through. She drives the sharp end into his stomach, turning him around and pinning him against the wall with it as she pushes it in further with an angry cry.

The demon begins to pull the wooden stake out of his stomach and Bo stumbles back in surprise before recovering quickly, "I'm not finished yet." She smirks, tugging an electric wire out of its place and stabbing him in the neck with it. He convulses, his eyes wide as he's electrocuted.

"Holy shit," Kenzi breathes, stepping backward, "Smells like fried bitch." You can't help but laugh, Kenzi was one of the funniest people you knew. But during inappropriate moments, it didn't work.

Lauren is at the house, arguing with Bo in her room. You're in your room beside hers, listening to their conversation through the paper-thin walls, "Vex is too strong for you!" The blonde Doctor pleads. You step away from the wall and sit on your bed, you heard too much and now you just want to go to bed.

You hear Bo leave and you run over to Kenzi's room, "Let's get out of here." You say, and she nods. The both of you get in your car and drive to Trick's Bar, where Dyson and Hale would likely be.

"What the balls man," Kenzi says, watching Dyson make a trick shot, "Are you cheating?" They're playing pool and Kenzi's losing. Very badly.

"Just genetically superior." He jokes, grinning at the girl.

You raise your eyebrows but say nothing as you lean against the pool table, nursing the beer in your hand. Lauren walks into the bar, footsteps heavy, "I didn't know where else to go," She begins, standing in front of Dyson, who frowns, "It's Bo. I made a huge mistake." She says, and you're not surprised. You heard their argument earlier.

"She told Bo about Vex." You say with a shrug, Lauren looks back at you, slightly irritated.

"He's a Mesmer, he's too strong for her to handle Dyson we have to help her, she's at the strip club on Prospect Road." Lauren pleads with Dyson, stumbling over her words as she does.

Dyson turns to look at you, "Didn't you work there once?" He asks, grabbing his jacket off of the edge of the pool table and throwing it on quickly.

"Yeah, why?" You ask, feeling around your chest for the pocket knife you hid inside your bra. It's still there luckily.

"You'll know where to go." He declares, grabbing you by the wrist and pulling you out of the bar, Kenzi follows behind the two of you, protesting.

When you and Dyson arrive in the main area, where Bo is, she's holding a sword in her hand. No, wait, her sword is her hand? It's a metal glove, probably magical. She's holding it against Vex's neck, a dark-haired man with dark clothing and a tattoo under his left eye, "Bo!" Dyson calls, stopping near her.

"No more games, you tell me who I am or I will cut it out of you." She demands, pressing the sword in his neck a little more. The three of you creep closer to your friend, who seems to have gone a little crazy on her revenge mission.

Vex is smiling, a wide insane smile that you're sort of attracted to, you don't know why, but it's there. Suddenly, Dyson lunges forward and grabs Bo by her arms, hauling her away from the man so she doesn't murder him and go to fae jail. He tosses her next to Kenzi, who sets a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. Dyson turns to look at Vex, "You!" He yells, pointing at the man, "Go!" He commands and the man leaps up.

He leans toward Bo, "To be continued then." He has a British accent, god damn it. Why did hot people always want to kill Bo?

Dyson shoves him away by his shoulder, "I said go!" He growls, sending him into a fit of psychotic laughter.

"Dyson what are you doing!" Bo cries, tears in her eyes. She's so close to finding out who she is, and who her real family is. And it was taken away from her, again. And by someone she thought cared about her. Of course, Dyson does care about her, but it didn't seem like it all the time.

"Saving your ass." He says, holding the angry woman back by her shoulders.

"Let me go!" She says, sounding like she's on the verge of tears, struggling against his grip to no avail.

"You kill him, they won't stop until you're dead." He says, and he's referring to the dark fae. Vex was a very powerful man. You may have stopped listening to Bo and Lauren's argument, but that didn't mean you couldn't still hear what was going on. The wall's in that house are broken and eroded.

"I don't care," Bo says, pressing the tip of the sword against the underside of Dyson's chin. He tilts his head up, trying to get away from the orange heat on the end of it.

"I do," Dyson says, and you and Kenzi look at each other. You almost want to squeal or something, finally, someone was talking about their feelings.

"Bo?" Kenzi's brows are furrowed, she can't believe Bo would be willing to hurt, or even kill, one of her friends/fuck buddy.

After a long moment of silence, Bo drops her weapon and looks down at the floor, "He was the only lead I had left." She spits, looking up at Dyson.

"He was lying to you Bo," He says, and Bo shakes her head, not able to believe him, "I wish there was some grand conspiracy but there isn't. Siegried, Lou Ann, they didn't know anything about your mother." You know it breaks her heart to hear this. It would break anyone's heart.

"Nobody does." He says, walking away.

"Somebody knows," Bo says quietly, staring at his back as he leaves the strip club. He looks at her over his shoulder for a moment but keeps walking.

"Somebody knows!" She screams it this time, and you and Kenzi stare at her wide-eyed.

You step over to Bo and lay a hand on her shoulder, "Let's go home."
