Steve should've known when the sky erupted blue that this day would be weird
When the New York sky had imploded on itself causing a shockwave in the sky drawing the attention from everyone within Avengers tower
"What the hell is going on outside ?" Tony said as he emerged to the common room
"End of the world perhaps ?' Clint suggested
"Yeah well that's not something we see everyday" Bobbi snorted
The strange thing about the attack was as everyone grouped together to see the sky's shockwave as quickly as it happened it as even quicker disbanded like nothing even happened giving everyone once again a confused look
"Alright, that's new ?" Natasha pointed out
Tilting his head as he looked at the sky Clint confusingly spoke
"Did the problem just…..fix itself ?"
Thor had clapped his hands
"Well horah friends !, the world has once again been saved by Earth's heroes"
"I don't think it works like that Thor ?" Steve had pointed out
Before the conversation and talking could even continue a weird buzzing noise emerged within the tower. Hell it was right behind them making all 6 adults turn around to find a bright white light building upon itself inside Avengers Tower
Immediately covering their hands from the blinding light everyone was confused on what this was
An attack ? If so, who was it ? or what was it ?
What they did know was the light was bright and they could barely see
"J.A.R.V.I.S. WHAT IS THIS THING ?!" Tony asked but before he could get an answer the light imploded flashing the team immediately making them all turn away before disappearing
In the blink of an eye it was gone and what replaced it were 3 teenagers ?
"Ummm…..who are you guys" Tony asked in confusion
And when they turned around immediately the one in the middle went wide eyed as he looked directly at Steve
"Dad ?"
With every fiber within James's being the redhead boy fought back every molecule in his body to hold back his tears as slightly he hesitated his hand
"This can't be real" he mumbled only adding onto Steve's confusion
"Hey Son, Are you ?...alright ?-"
"MOM !" James yelled as he spotted Natasha
Immediately the red haired spy went wide eyed in confusion but soon everyone's jaw dropped when they watched the young boy run up and hugged his Mother tightly
Small specks of tears started to leak from his eyes as James just continued to hold his Mother close. Not letting go for dear life
Truly everyone had a face of shock and surprise, an expression that was more of a surprised look than Natasha had as she didn't even wrap her hands around James. She just kept them up in the air as she just looked confused
Looking at Steve for an answer the Super Soldier was just as lost as he was as his mouth was open but he said no words
Squeezing Natasha tighter James sniffled his tears as he just buried his face within her neck continuing to softly cry
The affection was starting to get to much for Natasha as she just balled both her hands into fist aiding every amount of willpower not to pry him off of her
Thor was soon gonna laugh at the moment but was stopped when the blonde girl had jumped into his arms pulling him down by his neck as she cried the worlds Father holding him tight
"WHOA ! BY ODIN'S BEARD THIS YOUNG ONE IS STRONG !" Thor said as she tried to pry her off of him but with no use
"Ok am I the only one who finds this strange ?-" Clint began before immediately he huffed when Francis damn near tackled him into a hug
"OH-KAY ! KID ON ME ! KID IS ON ME !"
Francis held onto Clint for dear life in a strong hug only making Clint cringe
"Alright Kid….this is getting pretty awkward" Clint mumbled but Francis had soon pulled away with heavy tears in his eyes as he smiled so brightly it began to hurt
"You…your alive" Francis half smiled half laughed
This time Clint spared no express to push Francis gently off of him as he gave a surprised look
"Ok Kid. Whoever your Mom is. Please tell her I used protection. Anyone know just what the hell is going on here?" Clint said but it was more of an ask to the whole group wondering if anyone had an answer ?
Francis didn't even respond though as immediately he turned to his left and smiled even more as he looked at Bobbi
"Mom" he cried before immediately hugging her
But little did he know Bobbi and Clint just gave each other awkward looks
"Mom ?!" they both yelled before Bobbi herself pushed the tearful boy back
Looking dead into her eyes Francis's smile soon turned into a frown as he examined her confused features
"You…you don't know me ?" he asked before turning to Clint who tried his best to guess
"Please don't tell me one of them kept it ?" he said only making Francis slowly step back out of Bobbi's hands before wiping his tears with his sleeve Jacket
"Dad's it me ?" he began acting as if Clint knew who he was
"Francis ? remember ?" again he tried and CLint just gave a blank look before Francis turned to Bobbi
"Mom ? It's me ?. Your lucky bullseye"
Bobbi only gave the platinum haired boy a sad look of confusion one as if she really was trying to remember who he was
"I…I…." Bobbi began but she just closed her mouth making Francis slowly begin to back up
"No….no….no….no" he mumbled in a small state of panic as frantically he began to look around the Tower
"What year is this ?" he asked
No one gave him a response
"WHAT YEAR IS THIS !" he yelled again making the adults flinch
Putting his hands up in a calming matter Steve spoke softly
"Son, calm down. It's the year 2023" he said and immediately Francis's heart dropped
Slowly Francis began to reach behind himself as he spoke
"James, Torunn. Get away from them"
Immediately James and Torunn looked back at Francis in confusion with tears in their eyes
"What ?" Torunn crying smiled
"Francis…it's them….It's-"
"I SAID GET AWAY FROM THEM NOW !" Francis exclaimed before pulling out his sword
Immediately everything turned from 0 to 100 as in seconds Clint had drawn his bow while Tony's armor began to cover him. A repulsor was aimed straight at his face
"WAIT WAIT WAIT !" James began before turning to Natasha and Steve
"Mom, Dad, it's me. James. Your son"
"Impossible" Natasha spat as she raised her hand up to aim her gauntlet at him making James go wide eyed
"WHO SENT YOU ! KGB ! DREYKOV ! ALEXI ! WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE STEVIE ! WHY DO YOU HAVE JAMES'S NAME !"
Putting his hands up in fear James's eyes began to water
Did she really not know him ?
"Mom" he cried weakly but Natasha just yelled at him
"STOP CALLING ME THAT !" Natasha yelled before immediately James's eyes went wide
In a force of instinct James quickly rolled out of the way to dodge Natasha's gun fire from her gauntlets before Steve immediately grabbed her arm to stop quickly force her to stop
Calling down a sudden burst of lighting blinding the adults. James, Torunn and Francis all took the chance to break apart and run from the main section of the Tower splitting up 3 different ways running far apart
In a waste of no time the Avengers all split apart chasing after the 3 kids
Tony and Thor went after Torunn
Clint and Bobbi went after Francis
And that just left Steve and Natasha in within the tower
Looking at Natasha Steve saw her expression. She was shaking and breathing heavily before looking up at Steve's glare
"Natasha…."
"No" she said prying from his hands before she reached for a gun in one of her pouches
Again Steven grabbed after her taking the gun from her hand which really changed her mood as now she was angry towards Steve
"Steve !"
"Natasha, your not gonna shoot a kid" he said brining the gun over her just out of reach
The red haired Russian groaned in anger trying to grab the gun from his hand but Steve only continued to lift it higher like two siblings who were toying with one another
Eventually Natasha groaned and caved. Submitting to his ways like always
"Fine, whatever. We still need to catch the kid though. He could be a sleeper agent for Hydra"
Steve just gave a small look of dismay as he watched Natasha strut towards the halls to follow the kid. He knew exactly how she felt about kids and the touchy subject. So it was no surprise to him when this was her reaction to the current situation
But still it didn't make sense
Something didn't click to Steve
Truthfully none of this made sense. The Sky had imploded on itself and suddenly there were 3 kids who were claiming that they were their parents ?
Mentally it felt like a cluster was happening within his brain
Steve didn't know what the hell to say
All of this was just….crazy
Him and Natasha started dating only 5 months ago. And it took them forever to figure out what they both wanted
Clint and Bobbi had been divorced for almost a year now
And Thor…..well Thor's just been Thor but still if he had a child he wouldn't keep it a secret.
So how was any of this possible ?
The slight thought of all this being real crossed Steve's mind
Could it be possible ?
Could that…..could that really be his and Natasha's son ?

Continuing to run down the halls of this tower a million things had flashed into Francis's mind
'This can't be real' was the first thing he thought
'It's impossible' again he stated
'My parents…..Clint Barton….Bobbi Morse-Barton….they died…..they all died….it's 2023 ? but it was just 2046 2 minutes ago ? the war ? Valeria ? Franklin ? Pym, Azari ALL OF IT WAS JUST 2 MINUTES AGO SO HOW IS IT MY PARENTS ARE ALIVE !-"
Before Franics could continue to think about it anymore a small explosion had erupted to the rear of him forcing him to get launched into a nearby room
Blasting through the door Francis had rolled into the room's floor feeling the shagged carpet finding out it was another sort of lounge area
The platinum blonde groaned as he began to get up. Looking around the lounge room in a small dazed manner before immediately reacting on instinct and grabbed an incoming arrow that was about to pierce his arm when he heard the subtle sound of a bow string fly
Looking down at his hand Francis inspected the pitch black tent with the purple fletching at the end before immediately doing a b twist flip dodging two more arrows that were incoming to land behind a nearby couch scooting his back to it immediately
Huffing his breath heavily Francis knew he had to get his mind right
'This wasn't real. This wasn't real' Francis told himself
Just a couple of minutes ago he was fighting in a war against a cosmic being, a witch who could raise the dead, a god of thunder and a Super Soldier. And now he's fighting his not so dead parents
Parents that didn't even know of his existence ?
'Yeah totally not real'
Slowly Francis went to peek a little from the end of the couch but immediately drawn back when an incoming arrow flew past him almost grazing his cheek
'Ok not doing that again' Francis mentally told himself before reaching for an arrow from his quiver
Reaching back to find nothing the platinum blonde cursed when he remembered he ran out of arrows
"Dammit, Why couldn't I have just died" Francis groaned before gripping the Arrow in his hand tightly
Knowing he had to think on the fly Francis just groaned slamming the back of his head against the couch not knowing what to do as both Clint and Bobbi were slowly closing in on him
With his Bow Drawn and her Staff in hand slowly the two Agents were approaching the couch on either side ready to jump at the young man
With a simple "Fuck it" Francis reached for his two Poles before connecting them together sprouting his Bow and immediately shot up and fired the arrow within his hand
The draw was so quick it even surprised Clint as he was forced to redraw himself to dodge the arrow giving Francis the chance he need to grab another nearby arrow from the wall before dashing off through the lounge room
Clint aimed to fire another arrow but missed once more when Francis slid under a nearby table before twisting mid slide when he got to the end and shot his arrow at Clint aiming directly for his hand
Stopping the arrow with her staff Bobbi spoke as she had lost track of Francis immediately
"Kid's fast"
"His draw time is quick too" Clint commented reaching for another arrow before before he could immediately he was kicked from out of nowhere tumbling down onto the nearby couch crashing into it
Giving a surprised look Bobbi barley blocked the staff hit that was shot towards her clashing the metal on metal staff together before ducking under the young man's swing
Again Bobbi had blocked Francis's low swing bringing herself up to go block for block against his steel
Francis Spun himself and with one hand slammed the bow down just barley missing Bobbi as the metal Staff slammed to the floor before kicking the end and spinning the weapon to block her over head attack
Back and forth the two went clashing blow for blow and Bobbi had been fairly impressed by just how skilled this kid was with the staff
But she also happened to notice just how similar their movements were
Doing 2 quick jabs with her staff before spinning the metal rod behind her back Bobbi tested her theory as immediately she reeled back intentionally giving Francis the opening he needed to swing towards her
dodging his first swing with a staff twirl behind her back Bobbi dodged the second Uppercut swung and then the third reverse downward using his third attack to moveover behind him and break apart her staff into two separate battle staves before connecting them again and pulling back to force the stick around Francis's neck
Reeling him back in a forceful possession Francis groaned as he was immediately pulled into Bobbi's grasp
The platinum blonde tried to fight out of Bobbi's grasp. Attempting to break out of her Staff's iron grip
Clint himself had also gotten up prancing his way towards the fight to give his aid but Francis had just kicked the incoming man back down again before grabbing the handle from the back of him and split the Staff in half breaking free from Bobbi's grip
Shattering the first arrow Clint shot at him with his sword Francis made haste to dive towards his fallen Bow Staff leaping towards it to dodge the next arrow that was shot towards him before grabbing it and snapping it back to Bow formation as he rolled to his knees immediately catching the arrow that was close to piercing his chest before using that arrow to quickly draw to his bow aiming towards the blonde man
But before Francis could shoot a metal staff was pointed at the tip of his chin and soon Bobbi had a look on her face daring him to let go
Francis soon found them in a 3 way standoff and all he could say was
"Well shit"

"Natasha I really think you should consider your actions right now" Steve warned as he followed her into one of the darker corridors of the Tower in the storage room
"I mean think of it from the Kid's perspective. Natasha he's just a kid. Our-"
"DON'T !" she yelled snapping back at Steve as she pointed her finger at him
With all seriousness within her body she looked at Steve with every intent to kill
"Don't. He's….He's not" she said suppressing her emotions down deep into a hole
Clicking his Tongue Steve brought her hand down with him. Immediately she brought her head to look away from him but he just grabbed her hands forcing her to look at him
"Look. I get it. Kid…children. Their a sensitive topic for you" he began watching as she had physically flinched trying to pull away from him but he held her together
"but…But. Natasha. Natasha. That boy. Whoever he is. Whatever he is. He's scared right now/ extremely scared. And you threatening him won't make any of this better so please. Just….bare with me here. For just a second until we figure everything out ok"
Looking up into his blue eyes of hope Natasha fought back the pain she was holding as she just sunken nodded her head before looking up at Steve
Immediately her eyes snapped as she had lunged towards him pushing them both out the way as she had saved them both from the metal shield that had flown towards them
Immediately recovering to their feet they watched as the young red haired boy had jumped down from his vantage point from above and caught the shield before looking at both of them
Wasting not a second more James threw the shield at them and STeve immediately reacted throwing his shield back
The two identical shields met in the middle with a loud clang before benign sent back to their owners and immediately in the same reaction James and Steve had kicked the incoming Shields sending them right back to one another to clash again before crashing onto the floor
Steve watched in under amassment in how skilled the Kid was or better yet how he had an exact same replica of his shield but as he was too busy into his examination he didn't see James's drop kick that was sent to him knocking him back to the floor
Kicking up to his feet James stomped on the shield flipping it up towards him before grabbing it and swinging it aiming to hit Natasha before she had fully ducked under the attack before she had wrapped her arms around James before launching him back
Recovering into a roll James immediately sprung into the fight blocking her high kick's with his own high kick's before weaving her punch to deliver her own that she weaved
Just like Steve Natasha was just as equally surprised to see just how good of a fighter this kid was
Blow for blow they went and it seemed like every move she did it was the same move he was going to do
Dropping to her feet she swept his legs making him fall but James just caught himself with his hands before doing a handstand flip to get back to his feet right as she split her legs to land a kick on him that failed
Ducking under Steve's attempted swing James sent a punch towards him that failed as Steve had grabbed his arm and soon pinned it behind his back
James grunted and exaggerated himself trying to break free and Steve had to admit the kid had a really strong grip
"We….just want…..to…..talk" Steve grunted as he held his arm before soon enough deciding to push him near a wall thinking it would be easier to pin him
But right as Steve was beginning to bring him towards the wall James brought his feet up and used the leverage to do a wall flip switching their positions before judo flipping Steve and bringing him to the ground in his own arm lock
Steve was actually surprised to find the Kid's grip was far from loose as he grunted when trying to free himself. Trying to break free from his hold
Bending himself down to dodge Natasha's kick James leaned forward into a front roll that turned into a flip up to his head forcing himself to let go of Steve as immediately he sprung to his feet and grabbed his shield
Coming side by side to the older man Natasha;s wrist flashed a shade of red making James just gulp and roll his eyes
"chert voz'mi"

Flying through the tower at great speed Torunn had found herself coming into one giant circle as to her right she dodged a repulsor blaster only to be knocked off course by a shock of lighting that blinded her launching her into the Towers common room with a roll to the ground
As if it was right on cue James and Francid were thrown into the room as well joining Torunn's side on the ground as the fellow Avengers had emerged from within deep of the tower
Letting out a hurtful groan Francis grabbed his staff
"Hey, anyone down for a swap. Because we're kinda getting our asses handed to us" he said as in a hurtful tone Torunn and James also began to get up
"James, their number is. There's 6 of them and only 3 of us" Torunn said but James just shook his head as he spotted his fallen shield right next to Clint and Bobbi
"They have more numbers so that just means more targets. Hit anything that isn't us. Torunn battle 5 maneuver !" he said before pouncing off the wall
Immediately the two locked hands and Torunn had quickly spun him around before launching him with great speed towards Clint and Bobbi
Purposely James slammed into the duo feet first slamming them back into a wall before jumping off of Clint to go and grab his shield and immediately throw it up at Tony's armor with a clang
"AH ! CLINT GET OFF OF ME !" Bobbi yelled as she pushed the blonde away but little to their surprise Francis had jumped over Clint and grabbed a handful of arrows from his Quiver putting them into his and immediately the first thing he did when he landed was grab a puddy arrow and shot it towards Ironman
The impaction was great forcing his whole suit to fill with puddy as immediately he sunk to the ground with a metal clang
"AH ! umm guys…..can't….really move here !...CLINT WHAT'S IN THIS STUFF !" his robotic voice yelled
Leaping into the air immediately Steve brought his shield up to protect him and Natasha from Torunn's wraith as she came down hard clashing her sword upon his shield with a giant spark of lightning
With Steve and Natasha distracted James leaped over Torunn delivering a double legged drop-kick knocking them both back to the ground before the Kick upped to his feet
James felt an arm touch him by the shoulder and almost immediately James had snapped back and sent a punch straight to the man's face
But he soon just reeled back in heavy pain trying to fight a scream as Thor had just laughed
"HA HA ! YOUNG WARRIOR YOU FIGHT WELL ! BUT I DEER PLAYTIME IS OF THE OVER. BACK DOWN AT ONCE !" Thor said before grabbing Mjolnir
"Or Face the god of Thunder !" he chanted before with might and a sense of proudness
That was until he was met with a Hammer to the face knocking him heavily down to the ground with a giant thud
The god of thunder let out a gastly groan as he felt around with his jaw lifting himself and resting by his elbow
"By Odin's beard ! that hurt…." he said before looking up to find Torunn standing in front of him with Mjolnir in hand only making his eyes pop out even wider
"Stand down imposter. Or prepare to face the might of the Goddess of Thunder" Torunn warned
It's truthfully enough to say Thor had taken that personal
"Imposter ?!. Young Lady I am Thor ! Protector of Midgard ! What cheap tricks and games is this witchcraft ! Enchantress ? Loki ? Thanos ? Nightmare ? Dormammu ?" Thor said before again he was met with a Hammer to the face making him reel back before Torunn immediately grabbed him by his beard and slammed his face into her knee before charging and thrusting the man into a wall as she growled
"LIES ! YOU MAY WEAR THE FACE OF MY FATHER BUT YOU ARE NOT HIM !" she said with undiluted pain in her voice
If it wasn't for the fight that was happening Thor would've taken more time to acknowledge the notice of word she used

Clashing his Staff into Bobbi's Francis upstricked forcing their attacks to clash above them before swiping left forcing Bobbi to lose her grip and plant the weapon straight down giving Francis the chance he needed as with a twirl and a spin he swung the staff shattering her Battle Staves in two making Bobbi stumble back in surprise before Francis had swept her legs with the staff making her fall flat with a grunt
Before she could get up she was pushed down again by the tip of Francis's staff
Finally being able to get a closer look at Francis without fighting or commotion Bobbi squinted her eyes before making them go wide when she saw the replica pair of white goggles with a orange tint rested above his head the same ones she was wearing right now over her eyes
No random person would Bobbi give those too hell, not even Lance gets to touch them. So how the hell does a random Kid with a replica Bo Staff that can turn into a Bo. And outdraw Clint who's the greatest show she knows. Have those damn goggles resting above his head
Bobbi's eyes went wide as the realization hit
"Is it true…."
Doing a spinning Axe Kick James barley missed Steve's face dodging his roundhouse kick as he ducked under it
James immediately brought his hands up to cover his face as he stumbled back when Natasha landed a kick to his blocked wrist
Steve had grabbed his arm before getting him in a tactical arm lock but when he saw Natasha incoming he had flipped himself over to break free from Steve's lock before doing a split kick landing each booted foot on either of the super soldier's faces knocking them both down to the ground with him alongside with him
Bargaining into the tower Carol Danvers had hastily rushed into the Common room of the Tower
"HEY GUYS ! WERE GETTING SOME REPORTS YOU ALL MIGHT WANNA SEE !-" she began before immediately coming to a halt when she saw the current scene
Tony was currently trying to pry himself free from Puddy
Clint was on the floor next to Bobbi who was hoisted by her elbows weighed down because Francis was pointing his staff at her
Torunn and Thor were currently clashing with two mjolnir's
And James Natasha and Steve were all on the floor spreading among one another
Carol had some many questions and the confusion was a huge look on her face
"Who the hell are these kids ?"
Torunn, Francis and James all looked up with wide eyes as they all said at the same time with amazement
"Captain Marvel"
Looking at the fallen Avengers Carol had spoke
"Anyway. Guys were getting reports all over the world of massive surges of energy and force randomly appearing and soon disappearing. I think it had something to do with whatever happened in the sky today. But seriously, who the hell are you 3 ?"
Sprouting up to his feet James's attention was brought forth
"Wait. you said random surges of Energy all throughout the world ? where exactly ?"
Carol spoke with her arms crossed
"Didn't see everywhere but some I got was Krakoa, a lot in New York but more strangely Wakanda"
That right there made Francis, James and Torunn's eyes all burst wide as they all shared a look with one another
"Azari…." Torunn softly spoke making Carol raise an eyebrow as she asked again this time more serious
"Ok….who are you guys ?"
Sharing a look once more the trio had let out a deep breath before James spoke
"We came from the Future"
