Subaru was peacefully sleeping in Crusch's carriage as they bring the whale carcass too the Capital. Subaru then awakened too a garden, it seemed peaceful and he was confused at first.

'What the am I dreaming?'

Subaru looks around and walks down the tiled path too see none other then Satella.

"What the-" Subaru questioned his surroundings as he stared at the women who looked almost identical too Emilia just a bit older.

"Subaru, I'm surprised you can even reach here" Satella commented

Subaru pondering what she meant but also had questions, "What do you mean? Also I have many questions I wish too ask you"

Satella pouted, "Normally too see me at all you would need too have all seven witch factors yet you have none"

Subaru questioned what she meant by that, but guessed it was the powers that the witch cultists they saw earlier had. He knew the seven sins, and the basis in this world he came too of there powers and relation too the Witch Cult.

"Honestly I'm not sure what's going on" she continued

"What do you mean?"

"This shouldn't be possible at all, not to mention you seem to be able to manipulate the power of the authority of envy that was only meant to grant you the ability to return by death, too do such a thing the only possible explanation is somehow you overpowered the Witch of Envy's grasp on your power" she stated with a odd tone, not pleased nor sour just neutral.

Subaru could tell she was hiding something. He was talking too the person who summoned him here so he knew there was some sort of agenda or reasoning behind it.

"I'm guessing you and the witch are different entities?"

"No more so different personalities, when I loose control Envy takes over" she clarified

'I should just start asking questions, too many I have and I don't know how long I'll have too ask these questions'

"Why did you summon me?"

"This may sound weird too you but I did not summon you myself, but when you were being brought too this room Envy decided too give you the power of the authority of Envy too keep you alive" She explained

'Wait what? If she didn't bring me here how the hell am I here?'

"So do you know how I'm here?"

"Not exactly, but there is a unknown factor within you, I'm not sure how you gained it or what it even is" she said with a hint of worry in her tone

"Yes it's somehow tied to my emotions or more so vengeance, but I have no idea how that gave me any powers or abilities too help me control this authority Envy granted me nor do I know the source of the power"

Satella begin too look scared, eyes that seemed too loose hope hearing those words, eyes of a being that's been alive for centauries not understanding a power in this world.

Satella thought too herself, this power that Subaru has, it most likely can neutralize all authorities and morphed them as well. The question is how exactly he gained this power... Revenge? That doesn't seem right there's no way.

Satella tried too puzzle this together as she feared the worst of some sort of higher being controlling things, not even Pandora had the power too altered authorities like this which means whatever power Subaru has transcends the power of any holder of an authority. This causes two issues, the observers will want too get rid of him before he alters the way this world functions and the source that gave him this power most likely doesn't have the best intentions in doing so.

"Satella?" Subaru asked as she watched her seem to just be lost in thought

"Subaru, my original goal was for you too kill me, Envy likes you since you are Flugul or a version of him" Satella explained too him

'Huh? The fuck does that mean?'

"Flugul? And why do you want me too kill you?"

"Flugul was the Great Sage, you are him or a version of him, it's hard too explain but the reason I want you too kill me is to stop this cycle" Satella responded

"What do you mean cycle"

"Me and Flugul made a plan too take down Pandora, it's hard too explain as it involves time manipulation and spacial manipulation, but you have looped three thousand times or so at this point. Envy resets the checkpoint back too you on earth if you get to a point where there is no way too beat Pandora" She said calmly not realizing how insane what she was explaining sounded

'What the hell? This is like a convoluted version of Stiens;Gate, no way more convoluted I can't even imagine the amount of paradox's that should be created... But I don't see why she would lie but three thousand fucking times? What the hell have I been doing and how powerful is this enemy'

Satella felt something odd, another presence, which shouldn't be possible at all...

"Subaru-" Satella was cut off as the shadow garden disappeared

Subaru watched the entire false reality be shattered as he heard the voice of a being that didn't sound human.

"I have became annoyed of this game the humans are playing, the power I granted you will lead too the end of this game" The voice said

The voice was not human, Subaru tried too find a comparison as he wanted too know what the being speaking too him was. The voice almost sounded like Ddraig's voice from Highschool DxD he thought.

'No way... Should I really fucking ask if this being is a dragon? Well I suppose there isn't any downside'

"Are you... A dragon?"

Silence filled the empty void of the domain as the being was shocked as the boy could figure that out based on his voice alone.

"Yes, my name is Baphomet. I've lived for thousands of years in this world and am the dragon of domination, I've been waiting to destroy this world but due too the witches actions if I act now it will disrupt the balance" Baphomet explained

'Balance, ok so it's like Madara type thing. Yin and Yang balance of good and evil.. Who would've known watching anime would help me understand this world so much better'

"So due too the already imbalance of evil in the world, not to mention the time looping, if you acted you would disrupt the balance too the point where the world would correct itself, that's why you stayed hidden?" Subaru asked

Once again Baphomet was shocked, a boy so young understanding concepts that bind not only the world he's in but all realities itself. Duality.

"Correct, but now I'm done. You were given the power of the concept of yin, which would allow you too use powers related too vengeance, and of course the name I'm known for being the Dragon of Annihilation, the concept of annihilation" The dragon explained

Subaru was fairly lost at this point, he sort of understood what has been explained too him but way too many things have been told too him at once.

"Do well, and end this pathetic era caused by the false Sage" The dragon finished as the false reality disappeared and Subaru woke up.

Subaru woke up freaked out at first but noticed Crusch sleeping next too him calmed him down a tiny bit.

'What the fuck? What the actual fuck just happened? Was that just a dream no, no fucking way that was just a dream. If that information is right then... Jesus fucking Christ what has my soul gone through? three thousand fucking loops too take down some Pandora person? And now this all powerful being that's like if Madara was a fucking dragon decided too give me power too stop the cycle? What the fuck.'

Subaru's body remained calm as he laid back down but his mind was completely lost, he was beyond the word confused nor had any idea what the actual hell he was supposed too do at this point.

'I guess, my hopes for having a simple life and avoiding the bullshit which has worked fine after joining Felt's camp was just temporary. I guess I must serve a role in this world of importance which at first I liked but at this point the shit I've been told is not any normal hero role. Hell the dragon said he wanted to destroy the world is he even on the right side?'

Subaru continued too think until he just kept contradicting his theories on what may be happening. All he knew was that he must get stronger if he has any hopes of surviving. He is probably a target of very powerful witch cultists right now if they are aware of his power. Subaru was not concerned for himself rather his new campaigns. He didn't want too loose anybody and especially not due too his own presence resulting in there death.

"Subaru?" Crusch opening her eyes seeing Subaru awake

"Morning" Subaru said not realizing it was four in the morning

Crusch yawned, "Your up early"

"Yeah I guess" Subaru said still pondering his previous thoughts

Crusch quickly realizing she just slept with Subaru begin to blush, "Did you sleep well"

"Had some odd dreams"

Crusch just nodded, made sense after all the events that transpired, if she was Subaru her mind would be lost too.

Meanwhile in the Capital of the Kingdom of Lugina the Dragon tablet read, "Subaru Natsuki will revive the witch of Envy"

This early nobody in the Sage Council read it yet, but when Subaru returns he will have new problems too deal with.

Crusch told Subaru they will arrive at the Capital shortly. Subaru still lost in thought and Crusch could tell.

"Are you alright?"

Subaru pondering telling her details of what he found out. The witch cult was a mystery and they could easily turn him into an enemy of the Kingdom too cause him problems. If he can negate there authorities direct conflict would be pointless, so the most logical method would be too start by making him a enemy of the Kingdom or even the world.

"Crusch I think there's a possibility that I may receive false accusations from the Kingdom, I'm not sure yet but I just want to be prepared"

Crusch questioned the sudden idea, why would he think that?

"I won't question your reasoning, but no matter what I will support you"

"Thank you Crusch, and I promise I won't let anything happen too you"

Crusch once again questioned his tone, he seemed very worried.

"I need too go speak with Reinhard before we get to the capital" Subaru told Crusch

"A-lright Subaru"

Subaru made his way back too the carriage that Felt and Reinhard were in, both of them were asleep. Subaru lightly tapped Reinhard then more and eventually he woke up.

"Subaru?" Reinhard asked

"Shhh whisper" Subaru responded

"What's up it's early?"

"Consider this me being paranoid but there's a possibility that the Kingdom may consider me a enemy under the assumption of false allegations, I'm not sure if it will happen but if it does I need you too be aware of them being falsehoods" Subaru explained

Reinhard was a bit confused, "Why do you think that?"

"I believe I made enemies with some powerful people"

Reinhard could tell he wasn't lying, and Subaru seemed both worried and confused.

"I got your back don't worry, your probably just overthinking it" Reinhard replied with a smile

'I hope your right'

A few more hours passed and they arrived at the Capital and too everyone in the group of carriages arrived too the entire force of imperial knights awaiting them.

"Oh God" Subaru said looking at Reinhard

Reinhard was lost, not having a clue what was going on but Subaru seemed too be spot on.

The commander of the imperial knights, Captain Marcos Gildark accompanied by Miklotov McMahon the man with the most influence in the Kingdom and the Sage Council.

The carriages all stopped at the sight of the all of the imperial knights.

Crusch being at the front, remembering what Subaru said worried the worst.

She left her carriage and approached the two most powerful people of the Kingdom of Lugina, "What is the meaning of this?" she asked

Miklotov McMahon showed the dragon tablet too Crusch, which wrote: "Subaru Natsuki will revive the witch of Envy"

Crusch looked shocked, it made no sense at all. The witch was sealed not to mention how would Subaru even do or want to do such a thing?

"That can't be correct" Crusch told them

Miklotov McMahon was angered by her tone, "So you doubt the Kingdom's protector and tablet that protects us? The same dragon that recommended you as one of the candidates?"

"It's simply false, you see this message and bring all the forces of the entire Kingdom leaving the rest of the Kingdom completely vulnerable for an attack over words that have no basis nor logic too back them?" Crusch explained.

"Do you think we should simply ignore this? The Witch of Envy being revived would cause destruction unfathomable. We must not ignore such a warning given by the Dragon" Miklotov McMahon argued

Crusch sighed, "How about I personally ask Subaru using my divine protection of wind any questions you desire too prove the tablet was incorrect"

Reinhard noticing the conflict also came too back up Crusch, "I overheard what was going on, I have the same protection along with the Divine Protection of Empathy which allows me to sense emotions he has as he's responding. We shouldn't simply blindly believe a message without evidence"

Miklotov McMahon getting more and more irritated "SILENCE"

"Reinhard I order you to execute Subaru Natskui" He continued

Reinhard was baffled at the quick decision, this was bad, and he had no idea what the Council member was thinking.

As these events were transpiring Subaru worked out a perfect plan too stop this conflict. He unknowingly used one of the powers given to him by the yin concept, Universal Wisdom. While he didn't know he was using it, the ability was incredibly powerful. He was able to find out secrets only the Sage would know which he would use too his advantage.

He made his way out of his carriage and walked too the soldiers. All of them ready too attack him as Reinhard simply emitted a small amount of his power too make the entire army of knights back away.

"Miklotov McMahon you dare disrespect the Sage?" Subaru said with a commanding tone

Nobody had a single idea what he was talking about, not even Reinhard nor Crusch.

"Excuse me boy?" Miklotov McMahon said pointing at him with anger

"Boy? Address me as the Sage as I am your superior. To think you would have the arragonce too disrespect one of the three hero's who sealed the Witch of Envy but then accuse one of attempting too unseal the witch? The Kingdom has gone mad" He stated with tone of absolute authority. Like a angry king speaking to his subjects

"You claim your the Sage now? Are you insane? The dragon tablet specifically said you will attempt too revive the Witch of Envy" Miklotov McMahon stated

"Well clearly you have no idea what you are talking about, for one nobody can revive the Witch of Envy, she's sealed and not dead. Volcanica would not mistake his wording if he indeed believed of the risk. Afterall he helped me and Reid seal her away" he explained

Miklotov begin too question if he was correct, this boy had knowledge he most certainly shouldn't. Before he could begin questioning Subaru he begin speaking again.

"Not too mention she's currently sealed in the Plaides Watch Tower, information only the three hero's and the most trusted in the Kingdom of Lugina are aware of, Miklotov your actions are causing me too have to reveal secrets to prove my identity, not too mention you also put the entire Kingdom at risk for attack"

Miklotov was lost for words, the boy made a fair point but he still needed answers. Unlike Miklotov, Marcos seemed too have a fairly relaxed attitude. When he saw Reinhard defending Subaru he already knew even if they attempted if Reinhard truly wished too defend Subaru nobody in the world would have the power too stop him.

Crusch and Reinhard both could tell everything he claimed regarding being the Sage wasn't a lie but Reinhard sensed emotions of uncertainty and annoyance from Subaru.

"So how do you explain the dragon's tablet would say such a thing?" Miklotov asked in genuine confusion.

"Pandora, the Witch of Vanity, I'm not sure if the Kingdom was ever given any information regarding her existence or abilities, but she has the ability to alter and rewrite reality. Most likely that is the reason" Subaru explained

Nobody except Miklotov had a single clue what he was even talking about. Nobody knew of the other witches. Roswaal was also brought in the group of knights as he was the most powerful mage. He was only there too watch until he heard that name.

"How do you?" Roswaal walked up too Subaru

"Well at least you know who I'm referring too along with the one you the eighth lost witch, Hector, Devil of Melancholy" Subaru said

Roswaal was lost for words, he had absolutely no idea what was going on. Even if he was the Sage he shouldn't know his previous experiences with the witches he mentioned.

"Who are you?" Roswaal asked

Subaru glared, "Flugul the Great Sage, if you are still not convinced then this Kingdom is doomed. Miklotov I believe I outrank you in this situation so I order you too return all the forces you brought here too there stations, time is ticking and boarding nations may take advantage of this too invade unprotected areas, Miklotov and Roswaal are the only two here with any knowledge that would allow me too prove my identity so there's no point in this security mistake. Not to mention this gives a great opportunity for the witch cult who most likely was the causing this too happen..."

Miklotov couldn't deny the logic, especially if the witch cult was the cause for this then he simply being a pawn for the witch cult. That idea disgusted him too the core.

"Do as the Great Sage instructed, I will discuss matters with him further, Roswaal, Reinhard and Crusch I wish you too join us" Miklotov said shocking everyone. They did as they were told due to the fear of the very large threat of the witch cult and other Kingdom's using this as a moment too invade.

The soldiers retreated too their posts and we're on guard and Miklotov instructed the four too accompany him too the castle.

Subaru whispered in Roswaal's ears, "Your teacher is still alive"

Roswaal was beyond shocked at this point, he never had an issue containing himself but he could barely at this point.

Reinhard was on guard worried about what other nations, and the witch cult may be plotting. So many issues and he was the Kingdom's weapon. As much as he hated it, if he could help others he would do it happily.

The group finally reached a room too discuss matters further, it was a nice meeting room within the castle.

"So what else do you want too know?" Subaru asked

'This is odd, why do I feel like Volcanica was the one too actually send the warning too the capital? Observer? What does that even mean'

Subaru attempting to understand the information he was gaining with his ability, even though he can gain information if he doesn't understand it, it's useless.

Another power then activated, Annihilation, he then felt intense anger towards the Volcanica.

"Great Sage?" Miklotov

"Call me Subaru, Roswaal I share your opinion regarding the Dragon" he said confusing everyone except Roswaal

Roswaal wondered why he would want the Dragon dead but he was already beyond shocked by what has transpired. He wasn't even sure if he was sane at this point.

"What opinion?" Reinhard questioned

Subaru sighed, "Miklotov what questions do you have?"

Miklotov thought to the obvious question, "How are you alive, and why didn't you say anything until now?"

Reinhard and Crusch both knew he was from beyond the great waterfall but didn't sense him lying when he claimed he was the Sage. Neither of them really understood what was happening.

"I have no obligation too answer that, rather I would not answer that as it threatens the Kingdom" Subaru responded.

Subaru knew he has more authority in this discussion so he can easily refuse to answer any questions under the context of protection for the Kingdom.

Miklotov sighed in annoyance, "Is there anything you can tell me that I should be aware of?"

Subaru thought about the question, "Don't trust anything from the dragon's tablet unless confirmed by myself, instruct all guards, and knights too be on the highest level of security. Reinhard will remain in the capital and be ready too protect any region under attack. All Royal Selection candidates will stay in a large mansion together, they may be prime targets for both enemy Kingdom's and the Witch Cult. This mansion will be protected by Reinhard and other powerful knights"

Miklotov nodded but was a bit confused, "Are you positive that these measures are necessary?"

Subaru nodded, "Until I complete my task yes, and even if no attacks happen it is better too be prepared"

Miklotov nodded, "Understood and may I ask what your goal is exactly?"

Subaru frowned, "Destroy the Witch Cult completely"

Roswaal realized that Emilia was still stuck within the Sanctuary and he will have to get her out somehow too comply with the Sage's demands.

Miklotov nodded and the conversation concluded. The group left and Roswaal flew away back too his manner. Subaru once out of site of the Council member and Roswaal let out a sigh.

"Subaru?" Crusch asked

"I'm not four hundred years old. While I guess I am technically the Sage in terms of body, I am not in terms of time" Subaru stated

Reinhard was confused but still had his Divine Protection of Empathy active and could sense even more negative emotions from Subaru.

Subaru realizing what he must do, "Reinhard I have too go, please keep Crusch safe"

Reinhard felt terrible, just by feeling Subaru's emotions it brought his mood down too so he turned off his ability.

Crusch a bit annoyed by this, "Subaru I can protect myself"

"No you can't not from the threats coming, I'm not even sure if Reinhard can"

"What do you mean? Do you have the power too fight these people that your unsure if Reinhard can even beat?"

"Unfortunately yes, and only me. That's why I want to go alone as I can only protect myself. I'm starting to understand what a burden you have been carrying Reinhard"

Reinhard nodded, he wasn't sure what too do in this situation as he really had no details on what was happening in the first place.

As the the three continued too talk trying to understand what was happening, Subaru sensed a witch cultist nearby.

'In the capital? This close too the Castle as well? Not to mention I'm with Reinhard so whoever this is must be very powerful'

A man in a white robe with white hair approached, who they encountered before. Regulus Corneas.

"Hello Regulus" Subaru said once again standing in front of Crusch

"Hello Subaru, unfortunately I've been given a direct order too kill you"

"From Pandora correct?" Subaru said with a small grin

Regulus questioned how the boy would know the witches name. Very few people knew of her existance and even fewer knew her name.

"How do you know her?" Regulus asked with geniune curisoity

Subaru laughed, "Regulus you should be happy, the reason she sent you instead of coming herself is actually due to you having a better chance winning then her"

Regulus was shocked by this statement, why was this boy complimenting him and he already knew of Pandora's power yet the boy seemed too not be lying not to mention what would be gained by lying about such a thing?

Subaru walked up too Regulus and asked, "Tell me the truth Regulus if you we're able too would you kill her? Aren't you sick of her disrespectful personality?"

Regulus did despise the Witch, he only followed her due to her power and he knew he didn't really have the power to defeat her. He also could tell Subaru had enough Witch's Miasma too be a sin archbishop.

Before Regulus could respond Subaru mentioned something else, "Also if you stop following her commands she will not be able too directly ask any other Archbishops and will have too use the gospel too control them or risk revealing her idenity. You can simply enjoy your freedom and not be pestered too do any jobs"

Regulus was suprised by Subaru's deminere he seemed too be confident he could beat him but wanted a truce instead? He wasn't sure what to even say.

Regulus coughed, "And how do I know your power? And how will you give me the power too stop her if she comes for me?"

Subaru laughed, "If I damage you while your authority is active will that be conviencing?"

Regulus thought about it, not even Pandora has actually ever broken his authority just sent him to random locations if he disobeyed her.

"Fine" Regulus said

Subaru smirked using the power of annihilation which he was becoming more familiar with, formed a small ball of the mix of the authority of envy and the concept of annihilation. He shot the pebble size at Regulus and it hit his stomach damaging his clothing and leaving a small mark.

"How?" Regulus asked in confusion

Subaru thought for a moment, did he really want too bring a witch cultist with him too help? It would make it much easier to find the others but if he just kills the most powerful one right now and steals his Gospel it may make things easier.

Subaru shrugged at Regulus's question while forming a much more condesned and powerful version behind him with the intent too kill him in one blast.

"Who are you really?" Regulus asked but as he asked another pebble sized projectile charged at him much more powerful and faster then him directly at his heart.

Regulus had no time to defend or counter and it penetrated his heart killing him instantly.

"Oh right his ability is invinsibility, like literally no attacks even from you Reinhard would normally work on him" but when he turned around Reinhard wasn't there and Crusch was screaming at him.

When he looked back to Regulus's direction he saw a dead Reinhard right where Regulus stood moments ago.

'What the? What the actual fuck? Pandora? I thought I could see through her illusions? Did I really just kill Reinhard?'

Subaru begin to panic attempting too revive him but it didn't work like it did on the witch cultist before. He sensed no enemies around him.

"SUBARU WHY?" Crusch yelled.

Subaru would be crying, he would be sobbing, he just killed his best friend but yet he couldn't cry, his face simply was a deadpan expression.

All Subaru could muster too say was, "Pandora, illusions, Crusch connect the dots"

Crusch realized what he meant but still had no idea how he could even kill Reinhard. All Crusch saw was him rambling about some Regulus guy and shot an attack Reinhard when he was in front of him.

"Crusch get away from me, if I hurt you by mistake I..." Subaru was beyond vengeance he wanted blood, blood from the one's that are toying with him.

"Subaru I-"

"Crusch if you die I may not even give a damn about this world anymore in the first place."

"PANDORA IF YOU KILL THIS GIRL I WILL HAVE NO REASON TO HOLD BACK, IF YOU KNOW THE DRAGON OF ANNIHILATION THEN YOU KNOW MY POWER, I WILL DESTROY THIS ENTIRE WORLD AND REBUILD IT"

Crusch just looked scared, she had no idea what enemy Subaru was dealing with nor how to help him. Only thing she could think of was too try to comfort him. She hugged Subaru and Subaru returned it knowing it may be the last time he sees her again.

"Crusch, tell Felt I wish her the best I have too do this"

Crusch nodded and eventually Subaru sensed guards coming.

"This is bad" Subaru said realizing the dead Reinhard and the look this may give

"Crusch retreat to the castle now and say I almost killed you" Subaru commanded

"Why?"

"JUST DO IT" Subaru demanded

Crusch decided too follow and ran back into the Castle, Subaru knew there was no talking his way out of this. Blood will be shed.

Subaru grabbed one of the dragon carriages, he needed somewhere too go, to plan a bit before deciding how too take this enemy down. He actually considered the Sanctuary as the defense may work well for keeping witch cultists out. He may want to inquire Echidna on any information she may have too. He prepared three large balls the same he used on Reinhard too clear a path out of the capital and used a different power he wasn't aware of too grant the ground dragon incredible speed. Many guards chasing after him after seeing what happened. Julius being one of them along with Felix, and many others.

"The sins shall be mine to bare" Subaru mumbled as he threw a black orb behind him killing the three knights in pursuit.

'With the three strongest dead the others will think twice on following me'

Subaru in one day killed the knights for all the Royal Selection candidates, his best friend and weakened the Kingdom greatly. His rage was creating a purple aura around him, he will get revenge for Reinhard. He will kill Pandora.

'I will acquire the power too eliminate Pandora permanently and end the Witch Cult's scourge. I will show no mercy and spark fear in any that oppose me. They will fear me and I will exterminate them'
