This story I am making is going to be both based off of and my inspiration for an upcoming Rom hack of Fire Emblem sacred stones with a bunch of new characters, weapons, and some familiar faces…

Suggestions for characters and weapons would be appreciated!

The Sacred gates.

Chapter 1: The awakening

"Freeze! Only those of Juarian descent are allowed to come through, lass!" An armored soldier in red armor with black accents yelled.

"Let me pass, I must end this horrid war your emperor has caused! I'm not picky whether I have to talk him out of this, or slay him to end this war!" The woman exclaimed.

The guard shouting, and panicking, worried "Wha?! Who do you think you are?! Are you asking for a death sentence? Only a fool would dare challenge our emperor!"

"Pfft. Your emperor is a coward. He sent his soldiers to burn villages in the night. He did not even bother trying to fight those poor civilians head on." The woman explained.

"And my name? You can call me… Kassy."

"Everyone! The enemy is trying to seize the throne! Protect the gate! ATTACK!" The guard yelled, in which afterwards 20 soldiers in the halls behind him jumped out and attacked Kassy.

"It's going to take more than that! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! AIIIEEE!

A guard grabbed Kassy and shook her over and over, hitting her on the floor.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! Waa…"

Suddenly Kassy rose from bed hitting her head on her gramps face with a loud "THUD"

"OW! OW! OW! OW! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow. OK! I'm up! I'm up!" Kassy bellowed.

"Gah… you really need to sleep earlier Kassy." Her gramps said with a grumble.

"Your mother finished making breakfast. So get down there and eat!" He groaned.

Kassie's eyes glowed with a glimmer brighter than the shiniest gold "Oh! What did she make today?"

Her gramps soon showed a smile "Your favorite. Honey bread toast with… Yipe!"

Kassy immediately dashed down the stairs to the smell of her most favorite dish. Honey bread toast with fresh smoked bacon and a nice glass of chilled apple juice.

Kassy slid and flew down the stairs nearly slamming into her mother who just got the bread out of the oven.

"Whoa! Watch it Kassy! You nearly knocked over the bread! You know it takes about a whole week for the dough to be delivered, you know?"

Kassy hid her face in embarrassment after nearly ruining her favorite bread. "Sorry Ma… Didn't mean to…"

"Aww, Kassy. Don't be upset. You didn't do anything wrong, just a little too excited." Kassie's mom said. It was very difficult to stay upset with a voice as soft as hers.

"Thanks mom…" Kassy said "Say… did Darel come over yesterday?"

"No, he sadly did not. Ever since he retired from being king he hasn't really been wanting to go anywhere much, age certainly gets a man, doesn't it?" Her mom said with a sigh.

After finishing her favorite food in the world, Kassy grabbed her favorite bow and arrow and set off to do some much needed target practice.

It was a nice day. The sun was out, the wind blew slowly, the grass, barley wet from yesterday's rain, it was the perfect day for practice.

"Wow, it sure is beautiful this time of year." Kassy said to herself.

"Kassy!" An armored man on a horse screamed.

"Darel?! What's going on?" Kassy asked worriedly.

"Bandits! They're coming from the west! Looks like Yark's group!"
