Chapter 2: New introductions

"Ugh." Kassy thought to herself. "Why did they have to show up now?"

Yark's bandits are a ragtag group of bandits that could barely pose a threat to even the most box standard guards out there. The worst damage they have done was poking a dog with a stick, but even then they ran away in fear.

"Kassy, these guys mean trouble." Darel told her. Darel was quite a gruff man, serving 25 years as king did not help, but he was a nice enough guy.

"What? Those buffoons? These are the same guys who can't even fight off a dog. What could they do to us?" Kassy said uninterested and annoyed.

"This time is different…" Darel sighed. "I heard they pillaged a village quite a bit south of here, apparently they stole an entire blacksmiths stock of axes"

"Oh… That does not sound good at all." Kassy said worriedly

Darel looked onward "I already called some of my Men to help deal with these bandits… Oh here they are now"

"Ey Darel! You needed me?" A burly man in a ripped green shirt and Orange flat top hair asked with an ax in hand. He's a hit at parties

"No Fred. I needed you AND Sebastian here, where is he?" Darel asked cleary upset

"Oh, his horse got it's leg stuck in a fence so it might take a second for him to get here." Fred exclaimed.

"Oh great" Kassy said "Getting our town attacked by bandits and a much needed soldier missing from work, what next?"

"Don't tempt fate Kassy." Darel said "we're just going to have to deal with these guys with just the three of…"

"Ah-Ha! The great Sebastian has finally arrived! Prepare to meet my lance you no good, simple… Ow!"

"Sebastian it's about time you got here! Now is not the time to parade around acting aloof! We have a fight on our hands here!" Darel berated after hitting Sebastian with the back of his sword.

"Sorry…" Sebastian said with a groan. Sebastian had short well groomed hair, and Orange-Brown armor and was well liked by everyone.

"Ok is everyone here now?" Kassy complained, her day had not been as nice as she planned, even with her favorite dish for breakfast.

"Yes…" Darel looked quite concerned. Yark's bandits never seriously did anything to anyone, so actually robbing a blacksmith was quite worrying.

"Alright! Let's do dis! They won't stand a chance against my ax!" Fred said in anticipation.

"Ah-Ha! I couldn't agree more, Fred!" Sebastian gloated

Finally everyone was ready to battle with Yark's bandits but before anyone fought Darel gave everyone a small bunch of bottles for each of them.

"Vulneraries. Should anyone get injured just drink it or apply it onto your skin to heal your wounds mildly."

"How does that work?" Kassy asked

"No clue, doesn't matter, just use it when you're injured ok?" The old timer told Kassy

"Ok cool. Now what's the plan?" Kassy questioned.
