Today we will discuss news for arc three of Re:Zero. There wasn't much news to go over regarding arc one, so be ready for some of the best scoops we got so far on Lugunica's DramaAlert.

Thanks to new sources, we now have insight into every camp, Subaru, and Roswaal. Most wanted to remain anonymous. We have a live conversation going using what they call a 'metia. His name is AI, and he wanted to tell the viewers this. Let's start the interview.

Call Starts

AI: "Yo bro, what's up? I just want to say that if you watch this, somehow, people in Japan are connected to this world. That's pretty dope, but if someone can find my mother and tell her I miss her, she lives in Nagoya, and her name is Sasaki Aimi. Thank you, Keemstar, for letting me do this… never thought I'd be able to send a message to my mother again."

Keemstar: "My god, I'm sorry to hear that. I'll be sure your mother receives your message even if I have to take a plane to Japan myself."

AI: "Thank you, Keem. Before entering this world, I watched some of your older videos. I don't know how you managed to get and broadcast news from this world, but this world isn't that good. Lotta bullshit, and man, I forgot what it even feels like to die."

Keemstar: "I'm sorry for that AI, but you got to remember that even on Earth, there's tragedy happening constantly. I've seen Subaru and now learning of your life within this world. While both of you have to experience things no human normally could, at the least, you get to experience something no other human can. You and the candidate you're knighted for have a strange relationship. AI, let's be real. Do you really enjoy dying to her? At the least, Subaru has Emilia, but you got nothing like that."

AI: "Well, the princess is hard to win over, y'know?"

Keemstar: "Listen, AI, I've seen countless relationships crumble and prosper. I will advise you to pretend you can't loop and survive being killed. From what I can see, Priscilla has had seven husbands and seems to only like those who are confident and intrigue her. I will tell you something a source gave me, but it might alter the timeline of your world a bit."

AI: "What is it?"

Keemstar: "Priscilla seems to already, and I quote, 'deem you worthy' of her. But that is not healthy, and I advise you to tell her that you deem her worthy. She is covered in the shell of thinking she is a goddess and you're the one that cleans up her messes. Don't do it for once and see her reaction. I find your situation heartbreaking, and that's why I'm happy to help."

AI: "Really? She does… it would be nice. Thank you Keem I'll be sure to try what you said. You're a bro for real. The stars seem to be favoring me today."

Keemstar: "That is not the stars. Keemstar is favoring you now. Remember that."

Call ends

Now that was an interview with another person from Earth sent to the world of Re:Zero. It's tragic to say, but I do have a theory on how this may function. But I will not say it yet since we need more confirmation.

Let's go into the first story of the day regarding our main and primary focus Subaru Natsuki! To start we should go over the two-month time skip which is not included within the cannon story but thanks to Satella I was able to get any key moments of the time spent there. I sincerely regret that.

From now what I've learned the spiritual father 'Puck' is not only an excellent gas lighter but also completely insane. First, let me go over the rules of their contract:

I will be active only from 9 am to 5 pm

Do not ask about my relationship with Beatrice

Do not look into the mirror or go near large water

I will choose your hairstyle every morning

Groom my fur regularly

Have some exercise when you wake up and before going to bed

Do not be picky about food

Talk with lesser spirits every morning and evening

If you die, I will destroy the world

What the actual fuck? Judging by this contract and how Emilia responded to her appearance and what not I can safely blame this spirit for her terrible upbringing. Once again it seems we will have to be cancelling another person or rather spirit within Re:Zero. #PuckNeglectfulFather post it on Twitter and let your names be heard!

But seriously I have no idea what's wrong with that spirit. But let continue to what we missed within the mansion two month time skip. Puck basically cock blocked but in more so a sense of speaking with Emilia during that time and Subaru and Rem formed a more close relationship due to that. Now I can only imagine the issues that will come ahead.

Let's skip to the 'Inviation to the Royal Selection' part which I still have no idea why you need a invitation if Emilia is already chosen by the dragon. This entire interaction I must say Wilhelm was by far the best and most intriguing character. The fact that he could tell Subaru has been through some shit is something very few others can and props to Wilhelm for seeing that. As for Ferris I feel that her entire personality seems to be contrived. I'm not an expert on her character yet as she only has appeared once but I do know that going to such lengths usually only implies some form of insecurity. Perhaps later we will see more about that.

I find Emilia only letting Subaru come because his gate is broken hilarious. Thanks to the two-month mansion time skip that I was given access to, Puck's goal was to break his gate, but it completely backfired on him, which is precisely what he deserves. Apart from this, I think Roswaal and Puck have some sort of issue going on and in complete honesty, at this point, I'd be on Roswaal's side since at least he won't destroy the world if a single person dies.

This is when things get a lot worse in terms of Subaru's character, but I do have something that was not shown in the cannon material. Subaru wanted to go with Emilia for two reasons, one being. He wanted to be there for more selfish intent, but another was to be there in case something happened so he could DIE to save her. Boardline obsession, but at least he had a decent reason.

Julius kissing Emilia's hand and Subaru's reaction was what I'd consider normal. Remember, Subaru is from Japan, not Re:Zero. Even if he is told about how 'this is this,' he still thinks of physical actions as his environment in Japan formed them. Kissing Emilia's hand would be a gesture of intimacy. In Japan, most physical contact between two of the opposite gender is already far more significant than in other countries. So Subaru's response makes sense to me as he views it as he would in Japanese culture.

Moving on, Subaru's interaction with Priscilla was hilarious, and my advice to AI seems to be working well. The way that Priscilla treats Subaru before entering the Castle is more affection than Emilia has given him since he first arrived, which is both sad and ironic.

Subaru's outburst is when a lot of things fail. Still, a confident person reacted differently from the rest, so I got an interview with him. That being one of the Sage Council members and the current Prime Minister and prominent acting leader of the Kingdom Miklotov McMahon.

Call Starts

Keemstar: "I saw your reaction differs from the rest and found it intriguing. Could you care to elaborate on why you seemed surprised by Emilia's response?"

Miklotov: "I must thank you for allowing me to be on such a broadcast. But yes I will elaborate. Emilia, unknowingly or not, essentially threatened the Kingdom with the Great Spirit of Fire being at her side. Not only does this make her appearance even more of a reason for people to dislike her but an indirect threat to the Kingdom was far from what I'd consider a correct speech or response. Subaru Natsuki was the one chance I saw Emilia getting out of that situation. Subaru was a random nobody shouting out to everybody and if Emilia didn't respond so swiftly I myself would've assisted him in getting his opinion voiced correctly. Thus I saw her reaction not wise as if she didn't respond as she did she would've had a far better speech and response then what we saw."

Keemstar: "Do you favor Emilia?"

Miklotov: "Absolutely not. I do not favor any candidate but I do have my own morals and judgment that I must take into account when making decisions. To be quite frank I saw the candidates chosen and feared for the future of the Kingdom. But using a Great Spirit was not only a threat to the Kingdom in an internal sense but for if the Spirit simply left the Kingdom then we would lose a great military asset. Keemstar to be honest I think are Kingdom has fallen."

Keemstar: "Well Miklotov I will be honest the speeches we're horrific but as we both know Felt the candidate sponsored by the Sword Saint is the last remaining member of the Royal Family. If Reinhard can do his job well and help her become a true leader then I see a bright future for the Kingdom. Working hard all day with countless burdens and issues we share a lot of the same sort of stress and I respect you for your ability to lead a nation without a King."

"Thank you Keemstar and yes my hope now is intrusted with the Sword Saint."

Call Ended

So now we see Julius beating the shit out of Subaru but I actually find this entire exchange a complete 180 from how I viewed Julius prior. Most viewers think Julius is doing this only out of 'Knightlyness' or being a 'Proper Knight.' Still, it is urgently clear to me that Julius sacrificed that very thing and was trying to help Subaru. Julius is entirely unaware of Subaru's ability to return by death and him seeing most of the knights want to kill him after his outburst led him to have a single option to show the knights he was already publicly humiliated. This adds depth to Julius's character and my opinion of him switched quite a deal.

Now let's go ahead and skip to Crusch, who I think is by far one of the clearest examples of a character written to be smart but isn't due to the author not being clever. Crusch is supposed to be an intelligent, brilliant negotiator and leader. Still, unless she seriously lacks any deduction ability or the ability to read people's responses or reactions, I don't know how she failed to realize that Subaru was either seeing the future or had some sort of ability to do so.

Moving along, we have Anastasia, who helped Subaru the most out of the other candidates by giving him a piece of information that he needed. Anastasia thought she was manipulating Subaru, but Subaru flipped that on her, and I'm not sure if he realized he did or not, but it was hilarious.

Finally, we get the moment we've been waiting for after Rem gives a FUCKING fantastic speech to Subaru. In all honesty, at this point, I'm unsure if Subaru simply has a mental issue or something. Still, at this point in the story, I can't understand a human being choosing Emilia over Rem. It doesn't make sense, I'm sorry, but it doesn't. I think a much more exciting dynamic would've been if Subaru chose Rem instead, as it would give a much better dynamic later in this chapter.

Seeing Wilhelm being a FUCKING GOAT against the White Whale and the genius plan by Subaru to use the Tree to kill the Whale was some of the best moments in the story. But Wilhelm, after killing the White Whale, learned that it was too easy, so now I'm wondering who may have been responsible for Theresia's death.

Also, the encounter with Julius and Subaru teaming up to kill Geuse was fantastic. I wish Subaru knew that Julius saved his ass by beating his ass literally. Still, I hope this fosters a good relationship between the two.

The reunion with Emilia is heartbreaking as then Regulus and Lye show up and make Rem go into a coma and remove Crush's memories. I honestly find Crusch more appealing with her memories lost, so I don't really care about that, but Rem got done dirty. That's all I'm going to say.

Oh, and would you look at that? It turns out the villagers are stuck in some place called the 'Sanctuary' as Fredrica finally makes her appearance, and FUCK Subaru for thinking she is suspicious just saying that.

Overall I think arc three could've had some significant improvements, but overall it was good. Now time to rank the characters based on how I think they did.

Number #1 goes to Rem: do I have to say much? I'm not saying this to piss off Emilia fans, but Rem carried most of this arc and saved Subaru from going insane. So by far, the best character within this arc is Rem. Although I will say that her relationship towards the end became a bit toxic as she would die for Subaru a lot which only traumatized him further so if there is one critique for Rem, it would be that.

Number #2 goes to Julius: okay so this man literally saved a random ass stranger he barely knew from being killed or targeted by the entire imperial knights of the Kingdom. He did it without any reason other than being a knight which makes me admire his belief of being a true knight. Sacrificing his own reputation and even getting in trouble for what he did. I mean, even Reinhard couldn't understand why he did it. So Julius, by far helped Subaru the most during the Royal Selection part.

Number #3 goes to Wilhelm: he is the man that both inspired and respected Subaru. Subaru wouldn't have grown as much without Wilhelm being there as he did. Being appreciated by someone who was a legend in the past really gave an actual adopted grandson type of feeling. Since I have been unable to get an interview from Reinhard, Heinkel, or Wilhelm, I'm unsure of any family drama they may have. Still, Wilhelm seemed to dislike his family or a specific person within his family in particular. Family drama is great for me, so I will look forward to updating on when that information is revealed.

Now the bottom spot for the WORST character in this arc goes to Puck!

Let me start by saying Puck who is known as the 'Beast of the End' has power yet basically just forces Subaru to figure everything out on his own. How did the people in the mansion die? Why didn't Puck kill Geuse? Because he's a shitty character and I cannot wait for him to leave hopefully Subaru can kill him or something.
